✓ Needs moreWhile this is a good game it’s easy to 100% and then you have nothing to do Every other pumped game has had unlocks and fun things but this has nothing extra so no real point in completing it I just hope more gets added to it soon because it has heaps of potential Also the camera is so bad when turning some corners you are blind and just guessing when to stop turning.Barry slickVersion: 1.0.2

✓ Re-playability isn’t there...I loved pumped 3, great game which I’d revisit daily just to session. After completing Trailboss I tried to do the same but the fun just isn’t there. So I’ve once again gone back to pumped 3 as my daily! Maybe add in some weekly challenges (manual trick combo lines etc), to keep people coming back for more. Just my 2 cents. ✓ Great game, except the super unreliable controlsLoved the pumped series, and I’ve played every one to 100% completion. This new game is amazing, but the controls for manuals/stopping the spins are SUPER unreliable. It’s probably a 50/50 chance that when I press down with both thumbs to land in a manual, it actually happens. ✓ I want to really love this, but...I'm over 40% of the way through the game, so the below thoughts are based on having played it for a while now. Reasons why Trail Boss BMX is worth the money: - It's clearly a labour of love and I like supporting small developers. - Both the graphic and sound design have been nailed. - There are a tonne of tracks and they're all really fun. - There are heaps of challenges, so the amount of actual game content is great. - The addition of gates, targets, barriers and birds to expand challenges is awesome. - Skidding is heaps of fun! Reasons why Trail Boss BMX is not worth the money: - You can't customise the rider. At all. Only the bike. You can't even change gender. - You can't select different bikes. You can only change the colours of parts on the one bike. - When you crash (and you crash a lot in this game), the reset button moves to the exact opposite part of the screen and if you don't get the timing right, you end up hitting what has now become a back button which takes you out of the level entirely. - When you complete a challenge and finish a level the next button is right next to the reset button. Half the time you end up hitting the wrong thing and having to go back through the menu system to get back to where you wanted to be. - Turning through hairpin berms is awkward. You basically have to play the level a bunch to figure out the timing of it as you can't accurately see when you're meant to stop turning. - During the game you unlock a challenge requiring you to do a manual even though the ability to actually do a manual hasn't been unlocked yet. - Having to double swipe to spin fast and then double swipe to flip fast is awkward as you just feel like you're spamming swipes in multiple directions and trying to intentionally landing a trick with a specific amount of spins and flips is more difficult than it should be. - The mechanism to stop rotations does something entirely different once your wheels touch down, and often you want to stop spins right before touching down, so if you mess up the timing at all, you fly off the right-hand side of the track. - The way skidding has been implemented means that if you are micro-adjusting your line you will sometimes end up skidding suddenly off the side of the track. - Swiping to do tricks requires precision timing. Too early and you simply do nothing, too late and you may not have enough time to land the trick. Slightly early swipes really should just register. - Racking up transfer distance on jumps that aren't actually transfers requires you to exit the jump on a very specific angle. Too little and it doesn't register and too much and you won't land. Frustrating series of challenges that seems forced and takes away from the fun of game. For what it's worth, I have no issues with difficult challenges. It's what I've come to expect from the series, but these specific transfer challenges just seem tacked on with no real intention and they're not even fun when you complete them. - You can't go to a previous track without going back a level in the menu, each track only lets you go to the next track. Why is this basic navigation function missing? - There is no multiplayer mode at all. There is no way to race with or against friends. No racing against a ghost, etc. - There is no alternate camera angles available. - There is no highlight editor. There's a photo available after most levels, but it's only at one specific location and you can't control timing or camera angle. - There is no way to see how you went on a level. Want to know how many seconds, meters or points you were short of a challenge? Too bad. - Finally, at random times, when progressing through the game, instead of hitting a button, you have to press and hold. Why change the basic functionality of a button, and only sometimes?! I have played every game in the pumped series, and while they all had little flaws, this game seems to have the most. I get that it's a brand new take on the series and a fair bit more complex, and I really want to love this game. But it just feels like it needed another month or two of work to fix some of the issues before it was released. If you've played the series, you probably won't be disappointed spending your money on this. But if you're new to the series I wouldn't suggest buying this; go and buy Pumped 3 instead. P.S. I've got a friend playing on a low-powered device and he's having significant lag issues because there's no way to adjust the graphic quality, frame rate, etc..JoshuanhibbertVersion: 1.0.1

✓ Great butEdited down. The game is great, but I’m getting bored of doing the same task over and over because the controls are so packed together. IMO the are too many tricks or poor controls, the screen is not that big and it only takes the smallest deviation of a swipe to ruin a run, it could be argued that this is part of the game play and takes practice but it seems to be so small a difference between up and diagonally up, for example..CrashmattpVersion: 1.0.1

✓ CustomizationsThe game is okay, I don’t know if it’s anywhere near 5 stars. I feel it’s a bit repetitive, some levels are no room for error I don’t really see where you can “carve your own way to the finish.” It’s pretty much from what I have seen, move a little off the path and you wreck. A big complaint for me is the fact it makes it sound like you can do a huge amount of customizations which you can just as it states in paint. Colors of the rider and clothes stay same, bike and all parts stay the same, you can just paint the parts on the bike. ✓ Game runs well steep learning curveFor most part game runs smooth. Learning curve is insane and spend more time stating on trails then actually jumping. Challenges are just too difficult and inconsistent. Transfer challenges are basically impossible. Play it daily and still not able to unlock all the maps. I want to flow not to do a manual ( that is janky controlled) to 1260 table top turn down opposite x up kicklip table superman over six jumps hitting targets while transferring.JoeygreenwaldVersion: 1.0.3

✓ Needs Improvement.It’s a free game, can’t complain. But it’s not Pumped BMX. I find the controls impossibly difficult. It would be allot more fun with Gyroscope control (tilt your device to turn- the more you tilt the more you lean into the turn to the point of crashing, tilt forward to nose manual, tilt back to manual, tilt back quickly to bunnyhop, tilt forward quickly to nollie). Thumb swipes could then be purely spins and tricks. Also you can’t land fakie, which kind of sucks. Otherwise it’s great. But in its current state it’s unplayable (for me)..Iron LeeVersion: 1.0.1

✓ Physics could be betterGreat game! Really enjoyable but find the physics very unresponsive. I also find there is a hell of a lot going on at one time which causes the character to do other tricks/manoeuvres to what you put in. Would be great to bring back the pump action - get rid of having to turn round the berms manually (also replaced by pumping round berms) but the turning for the hips. Also having to land smoothly so it keeps you speed due to the pumping action..ScottcheggsVersion: 1.0.1
