Every time I try it just stays on the loading screen. ✓ UnclearI trained up two pitchers. Opened a new pack and added the new pitcher into one of those slots. My intent was to save that pitcher for a different slot. Unfortunately, he's gone now. ✓ HorridThe worst of the series, by a wide margin. Game is dramatically over-complicated, yet your decisions don’t make a difference. Shifting batting order doesn’t help. Changing the playbook doesn’t help. Season tasks are so wildly specific (I.e. your second baseman must hit 40 RBIs) that you get stuck infinitely, without a way to improve. Expect to take five-plus seasons to advance for every one season the other games take. The only game of the franchise I’m close to deleting..Version: 3.9.4

They don’t show who the equipment is available for so you have to look into every player to see who has it. The goals like qualify for playoffs don’t work either. ✓ Read firstI’ve played the football and basketball versions and both games are fun and the challenges are reasonable to advance...then there’s the baseball version. The algorithm this game uses is completely flawed. My teams lineup is far superior to anyone I play, and most players are fully trained and equipped. With that being said every season I still lose half my games to opponents with lineups not even remotely close to as stacked as mine. I could reason with a loss here or there, but it’s always half the games at least and some in absolute comical fashion. Just today I was beaten in a series where I scored 2 runs total and gave up 56! How is that even somewhat realistic? Just a poor effort overall and certainly a waste of time. Much like consoles, the basketball and football games are alright, but the app for America’s past time? Hard pass and I’d advise you to do the same..Version: 3.7.0

✓ It has potentialThe app itself is set up well, but the mechanics of simming games is just broken in my opinion. When it’s based on ratings and I constantly struggle to compete in leagues unless I buy higher cards. CBS should be ashamed of themselves for slapping their name on a buggy and awful game. I don’t know how they bribed this many people to write a review any better than mine, I am literally underselling how awful this game is. I took the time out of my life to leave this review as a warning for all others, DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME. Play any other game, go outside, slam your phone down on the ground and break it, any of those are better than subjecting yourself to the worst game in the history of time. ✓ CBS sports baseball gameStarted out good, but I’m in my first season and the playoffs aren’t working. I know. I have the football version and it runs fine. I’d use the in-app contact, but that just closes the game. Admin, you need to fix this..Version: 3.1.1
✓ A good game that continues to get better...I really enjoy this game. It’s fun to pass the time. Its not complicated, easy to read and understand. It’s not really something you can play all day because everything is on a timer which restarts every 24 hours. You will probably only check the game once a day and then not have anything to do until the timer resets. But it’s a lot of fun to build your team and slowly go through each level and series and watch your team grow and get stronger.... My only complaint... The developers make a new game every year and non of your progress transfers. I played the 2016 & 2017 app games and had to completely start over each time. And here I am starting all over for 2018. This is the last time for me. Even if they make a 2019, and they will, I’ll just stick with this one. So if the developers are reading this: PLEASE! Make a game where we can transfer all our progress. Please keep in mine some of us do spend money on games and it’s frustrating all of that is lost each season..Version: 2.6.0
✓ CostI do play every day and have for years. My issue is that to collect your ultimates it gets very expensive. I needed Pedros Martinez special edition card to complete his ultimate as an example. I had to collect 48 cards before getting it. I also needed his legend card at the same time. Had to collect 47 cards for that. I have spent close to $1000 in this game, and have only 4 tier 5 ultimate players to show for it. All that money has been spent on coins. It should be set up like football where you can purchase the cards you want for a couple extra coins each..Version: 4.6.2
✓ Looks like same game as 2018.I’ve played CBS franchise games (FB, BB & BskB) for a long time. I quit playing a few years ago as I did not like the direction the games were going. I tried again in 2018, did not care for it. 2020 brings a “new version” of the game. Looks & acts exactly like the 2018 game. But I was still willing to try it out. My 2018 team is still there, can’t delete it or start over. Customer support confirms that I can’t start over. They say I HAVE to create a new account with CBS or Facebook. Ain’t gonna happen. This game has been going downhill for a while now and without the opportunity to try it from scratch. I will never know if there’s any improvement..Version: 3.7.5
✓ In-game Cash is far too rareMany of the advances in the game require in-game cash to purchase training, equipment, etc. and make your team better. The problem is that cash can only be acquired by playing exhibition games that also give almost worthless team tokens the majority of the time. Ironically, you need cash to spend team tokens. I’m sitting on a stockpile of about 50,000 useless team tokens and almost no cash. The developers need to find a way to make cash more accessible or this game won’t be worth your time..Version: 4.7.2
✓ Glitches on GlitchesToo many glitches to list. Stat glitches, display glitches, freeze glitches. What’s worse, when you contact support, they either ignore the message or make excuses and they’re “working on it”. Things have been broken for months (probably longer)..Version: 4.4.8
