✓ Great Puzzle GameGreat art style, simple yet unique game mechanics, moderately difficult puzzle games, soothing music, and a sweet story about two friends. This is just a quality phone game that I'd recommend to anyone. Its not for those who are impatient, though. I've seen plenty of people complain about how slow the characters walk (speed picks up further in the game) or about how complex or tedious the puzzles can be, but I mean this game isn't for everyone. 🤷🏾♀️ i finished the game in 3 days and it put a smile on my face..Version: 1.02

✓ Engaging - but battery consuming!Really enjoyed the uniqueness of this game. Very clever, challenges stepping up in difficulty as you go. The issue I had was with my iPhone 11 Pro Max overheating and the battery depleting in record time. I don’t think it’s an issue with the phone as this is the only app that’s had this effect. However, if you are plugged in and your device is on a cushion (or you don’t have this problem at all) then this is a very engaging game. Sorry I have to ask for a refund..Version: 1.02

✓ Experienced gamerWe need more developer like this! The days of playing mobile games just because your bored are gone. We have consoles in our pockets and we need games to reflect them. The design and the physics are awesome, the way the game combines background music to go along with levels really immerses you. On a scale of difficulty 0-10 I rate this game a 6. Too difficult for my 4 year old and intricate enough to keep me engaged. If your comfortable is solving puzzles you will fly through this game. All in all, well worth the money. Great flow, great mix of problem solving/attention to detail, engaging, and family friendly. The only con this game has is length, it’s too short and I’m left with wanting more..Version: 1.02

✓ Best Puzzle Adventure everI wasn’t sure I was going to like this game but by the third island I was hooked. The creators must have had so much fun making this game as they figured out the challenges on each island. I love how through the boy you can reverse or forward time as part of solving a way to get them to the top of the island. Or how you can have them repeat moves to change something about the surroundings. My favorite island was when the boy stops time and you change how the light box moves across a playground via a drawing on a wall to help both of them get up the path. So cool! Very clever, beautiful and a sweet story. I am playing some of my favorite islands again!.Version: 1.02

✓ Somber but comfortingThis game is gorgeous and has a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. It’s a bit somber given the themes of loss and moving on, but I found it very comforting. Great to play before bed, chilling my brain out. The puzzles weren't super challenging, but some were still a bit of a brain teaser enough to scratch that puzzle cracking itch. having to factor in the timeline and subtimelines and how they interact was neat, but also sometimes context or perspective based events that were easily overlooked. You’re basically moving forward backward through time with the two friends who are your characters taking on one specific (and standard throughout the game) task each to accomplish larger goals by working together. This game plays well for adult puzzlers, and I’m sure that kids would benefit from the loosely told story about friendship and how it affects us. It’s challenging without being frustrating, and it can be played in one night or you can take your time strolling through it. I can’t get past the 3rd puzzle. The ball of light drops out of the lamp into the water. When I pass the lamp, there is no way to get the ball of light because it’s in the water. How to get the ball of light when I cross the bridge? Where to get the ball of light when the 2 kids cross the bridge? I fly the box all around when I get the 2 kids across the bridge. It not make sense to where to get the ball of light from the other side? I figured it out. You have to fly the box under the rug, so that the rug lifts up. Have the boy touch the hanging box. So that the flower in the water comes around the island. Any way very cool..Version: 1.02

✓ Wow!Every once in a great while a game comes along that just wows me! I’m super picky about games. I really enjoyed Myst, Riven, the Room series, and both of the House of DiVinci games. And I LOVED this one! The Gardens Between have the kind of graphics that are simple and yet detailed. The color scheme is perfect. I get cheered up every time I play it. The puzzles are extremely unique and slightly challenging but not too difficult. I love the whole time control aspect of the game. The only criticism I have is that the game is kinda short. ✓ Stunning & SadThe graphics are stunning. Every level is beautifully designed. The game play starts as deceptively easy but is more challenging nearer the end. More of a short break teaser then a hard puzzle that’ll make you ponder for ages. Some levels have really good concepts, like the dancing cubes, which I would have liked to have seen more of. Th story though, despite having no text or audio, is really really sad. The more you play the more you can see how much of the characters lives are being thrown into chaos by one of them moving, and everything they’re going to lose. You can’t help but feel sorry for them. My only real issue is there’s not really that many levels considering the cost. And some of the levels are really quick as well. Original controls (swipe left and right to manipulate time and tap to interact with objects) that are super intuitive and extremely easy to use. ✓ Innovative, sweet and fascinating!This is a rare gem; as a game it's hard to describe but essentially you play two characters moving back and forth in time, moving from one world area to the next by capturing energy. Figuring out how to capture the energy and keep it intact until the end of the stage is the tricky part, as it involves puzzling out the correct place for each character to be as the timeline moves. It's beautifully designed, the graphics are great (especially during the stunning opening sequence, set in what looks like Japan) and the gameplay is relaxing and charming. ✓ Please make a part 2 to this!!!!I loved it so much!!! The graphics and music is so beautiful! It tells a story that ties into everything just amazing! I never had a game keep me interested the whole time! I’ve finished the game now my kids are playing it and they love it too! Well worth the $5 and you can also play this on the Xbox One which I wish I would have known because it’s easier to see the details and little things you have to pay attention to but either way it’s a great game!.Version: 1.02
