✓ Fun but glitchyThis is a fun game but it’s very glitchy - watching ads to get additional time or move to the next game, and there are lots of ads, they often freeze and you can’t move past a frozen screen or simply a black screen. You have to close the game (which means losing your spot/rewards) and start again. Sometimes the tiles come on and are so small, the pictures can’t be seen. Would consider paying a REASONABLE amount to purchase ad free play but the subscription prices are outrageously expensive. Please fix the glitches - if I’m going to watch ads, it would be great if they didn’t boot me out of the game! Now, with the latest update (Nov 2022), the game won’t even open so I can’t even watch the ads! There seem to be lots of updates to fix bugs.....the game not opening seems to be a bug worthy of attention! Please fix.Version: 29.0.3
✓ Unfortunate ChangesI travel for work often, and have been playing this game with no internet for years….All of a sudden it’s not an option. I’ve played over 1000 levels. ✓ It is an OK game but could be betterI really hate that even in the free mode, you can’t turn off the items to look for, so it is really dumb to be looking for Christmas wreaths and Jack-o-lanterns in summer. I am NOT paying extra to turn these off either. I also really hate when the put a timer on an item to match or rather a bomb. You either have to start over or watch an ad to continue playing. Lastly, if I have earned a 100 shuffles as a “cheat” or “help” of some kind, then it should be useful and not a waste of my time. I tried to shuffle the items several times to try and make a match to prevent a bomb from exploding and instead I wasted 20 plus shuffles. Those “tools” you earn are USELESS! This is supposed to be fun... it is not fun if I can play on my terms, no customization and earn useless cheats.... I think I will go back to playing MaJong .....Version: 4.3
✓ Great but annoyingI really like this game, the ads are so long and repetitive. I understand you can buy the other option, but it’s way too expensive charged per month. ✓ Too many advertisementsYou just get into a game, trying to concentrate, when an advertisement comes up. In total, close to 25% of the time the game is open, you are watching an advertisement. You watch a 30 second advertisement for another 90 seconds of playtime. One advertisement at the end of a game is enough. There are still too many advertisements so you obviously don’t take any notice of the feedback given. It is a pity that you cannot spell the word “people” in your advertisement correctly! ✓ Oh my....the adverts!!!!This is a good game, very engaging and passes the time away nicely BUT......the adverts are SO ANNOYING!!! Why is there no cheaper option to either reduce the length of the adverts or remove them altogether. The monthly VIP fee is too much for such a game and I refuse to pay, but I would pay a flat fee to remove them completely. Those stupid kids in the Clockmaker ad are making me crazy and it will be only a matter of time before I delete this game when it all gets too much. ✓ Too many glitchesWell, I like this game most of the time and play way too much. When I first started playing there were far less ads. Now it’s a different system where you accumulate tools much slower and watch more ads. And the ads are often multi-part so you have to click next a few time which is pretty annoying. I think the subscription costs are way too high for such a simple game. But my bigger complaint is the bugs in the app. I’m playing this on an iPad Pro. It worked fine for months, but recently it will freeze up in the middle of the game or during an ad, then I have to close and reopen the app (just going to Home Screen and back doesn’t work), and I lose my progress in the puzzle but not the number of tools I’ve used. Basically using up tools and then having to restart the puzzle. Now it’s doing a thing where I need to play an ad to continue, and then the whole screen shifts, like the picture is translated down and to the left on the iPad. So I can’t see the whole puzzle. I’ve updated the iPad and the app, and restarted both. I think I’ll just find another app..Version: 12.2.2
✓ Battery hog, crashes and stallsFirst of all, what’s with dropping the “c” from all these game titles? Has anyone ever figured that out? Anyway, this is a pretty engaging game but there are a few fatal problems. It crashes and stalls, even after I’ve reset my device (updated, reasonably new iPad). It heats up the device, and it hogs the battery in an unacceptable way. The battery level actually goes down, even when I’m connected or onnected (😝) to the charger. Those are the device-related issues. Game-related comments: There’s a nice assortment of difficulty levels and levels with/without bombs. Most games shift the tiles around after each move, which is not my cup if tea, especially when the tiles move in all 4 directions as opposed to all jumping to the left, for example. YMMV of course. There’s a reasonable number of ads but I suspect the ads, along with the constantly shifting tiles, contribute to the freezing and battery issues. I would have given it 3 or 4 stars, except for the freezing game, hot device, and potential for damage to the battery..Version: 14.2

Some of the adds you can’t get out of except by shutting down your iPad completely and starting again. Frequently you watch a 30 second add to get more time and it plays the add but won’t go back to the game, so you have to watch another 30 second add. In total you watch a minute to get an extra 100 secs. Absolutely too much. I know there has to be adds, but come on this is over the top. Completely spoils the game.Version: 3.5

✓ The glitch lives!I love this game, it’s fun in a relaxing way. BUT, as other reviews mentioned, the ads are incessant AND the screen has started to go blank or freezing. This means you can’t collect any extras (extra shuffles and hints), plus it means having to close and restart the game to carry on - which is annoying. ✓ 3 Days ago would’ve been 5 starsI have spent hours upon hours upon hours (even when I was hospitalized) playing this game because I enjoyed it so much. But two days ago they decided to change it up and add some stupid virtual “chess” that you have to gain so many points after playing 4-5 puzzles to earn specific tools that you used to earn after each puzzle. (Now it’s 2 tools max if you watch ads) Unless they go back to their prior set up, this is nothing but a waste of my time. I was fine with the amount of ads they had before since I cannot afford membership, it was balanced and made sense, but now?? Keep your ads - I’m out. (I’ll check back from time to time to see if you really listen to your users or just don’t care) I’ve been playing for over a year now. Get rid of the chest! Before the so-called “upgrade” The game was challenging because of 1) ticking timer bombs to beat; 2) if you did survive the timer bombs, but ran out of time, you’d get an ad, fair; 3) depending on how big a puzzle and how fast you could finish it, you would get a higher ‘reward’ of tools, so I would be challenging myself at the same time to see if I was able to get 3, 4, or sometimes 5 magnifying glasses based on time left multiplied by my score. Downloaded it about two weeks ago and it was fun despite the generic ads but yesterday, it forces you to accept some terms which involves giving up information on how you use your device and IP address. ✓ Goes to blackI’m addicted to the race with the clock / find stuff games... so this on is most compelling BUT the images are very tiny for visually impaired older folks so it hurts even with glasses. I played for a month had an upgrade then every 3 or 4th screen it crashes to dark gray or black... there are so many ads it’s a drag to wait for longer than you actually play. Everyone is correct... far too many ads... I can’t play now because the screen is frozen on one. It usually allows the ad to finish before freezing up. ✓ Fix this please!The advertisement was nothing like the actual game..I’m really into puzzles and when I saw the advert, I knew I would like this. But no!.. You need to change the game please! The advert for me shows me that you pick up the picture puzzles and match them to their pair. Then the game came along.. I didn’t get to pick it up and then match it to the other pair. I had to press on a picture puzzle and then work my way to its match! And.. You can’t just press them, you have to work your way through on a one way. ✓ If OnlyLove this game. I would play it all the time but after a short time the ads hang up my iPad. Or I watch the ad and then the button to resume the game is greyed out and there is noway to kove forward but to shut down the iPad completely. When you go back to the game, you have to start anew. Eventually it gets so bad the only option is to uninstall it and reinstall. I’ve done that a few times now but it’s getting old and it won’t be long before the hassle to play the game is not worth it. Update: took away a star. They recently did an update and now it’s even worse. You get a notice that no videos are available and a 5 second count down. It says no videos and adds 5 seconds to the count down making it 10 seconds. Gets to the end and notice that says no videos, adds an additional 5 seconds and on and on. ✓ 35 second adverts every couple of minutesThis game is really good but completely ruined by the amount of adverts and the length of the adverts. There is a 30+ second advert every couple of minutes!!!!! I reluctantly deleted as the ads are so long you loose interest in what is actually a great game. ✓ Used to be relaxing, then they changed it.I played this game all the time as a free game. I liked it so much that I purchased it, so that I wouldn’t have to wait for ads or purchase anything, such as coins, etc. I was also able to play this game at either end of my iPad - in other words, I could rotate my device and the game would spin and correct to the same orientation. I enjoyed this because I could charge while playing without ruining my cable. But all that has suddenly gone away. If I wanted to simply let a bomb run out, I could use a diffuser that I had collected by playing and winning rounds. Now, I have to watch an ad to continue - even though I PURCHASE the game, or I have to start the game over. I had given this game 5 stars in the past. I can now only play with the device on one side and, of course, it’s the most inconvenient side. Frankly, you’re lucky you got an overrated 2 stars out of me. I am highly disappointed. Also, as a side note; I had to delete and reinstall the app because I was having crash issues after an OS update. When I finished, I lost all my progress and was reset to the first level. ✓ SMALLER ICONS??I was reading all the reviews to see if anyone else has the same issues with the game as I do. And of course, some do. But then others have issues I haven’t experienced yet, simply because I haven’t been playing as long. I have however, experience tile overlap. But that seems to be fixed now. The fact that the icons are so small they are hard to keep looking at without getting headaches, so I have to stop playing. I paid to get rid of those repetitive, annoying, useless ads, but I have no recourse for the size of the icons. Then I read that you made them SMALLER?? As the developer, you should be aware not all of us have 20/20 + vision. For that reason, I wouldn’t spend anymore money on this game unless that is corrected. ✓ Vastly OverpricedI think this is vastly overpriced for what you actually get. I tried playing for a few days but found it very frustrating to say the least - some of the harder levels are too small and it strains my eyes and gives me headaches. Even if you chose to sign up to the subscription it does really give you much and you still have to watch ads to get more hints, tile shuffles and stuff. I think the tiny tiles on the harder levels are stupidly difficult and almost impossible to complete, unless you spend loads of money buying more hints and tiles shuffles etc. After just a few days of trying to play it I have found it’s just frustrating me and I’m not enjoying it, so I have cancelled the subscription and deleted the app. Think it would be more popular if you gave more pair hints for free and made the tiles less teeny-tiny!.Version: 28.1.0

✓ Spotlight ProblemI love this game and play it daily, but I have one big complaint, and that is the Spotlight that you can click on to be shown where a pair is when you find yourself stuck. You have to watch an ad in order to use the spotlight one time. When you click on the spotlight, you will be shown 2 matching pictures but for just a split second (and I mean a split second!) which is way too short of time to find the 2 matching pictures, especially when there are many, many pictures to scan across. Many times I have to watch several ads to use the spotlight several times just trying to be able see a matching pair highlighted before it disappears. This is more than frustrating and I am at the point of deleting the game unless you give a little more time (even 2 seconds would help)after clicking on the spotlight. ✓ Fun but needs directionI love these puzzles but they need to add some features to make it more of a game. For example, you accumulate points as you make matches but there’s no reason. The points don’t earn you any rewards (such as a hint or extra time on a bomb. These are only gained by watching an ad). It doesn’t even keep track of high scores or anything point related. Why bother even keeping a point total? While you do “win” by solving puzzles, you don’t progress in any way. Most games have levels or different features/obstacles as you progress through the game. It’s just endless puzzles that don’t go anywhere. You have no idea how many puzzles you’ve solved, how many you solved on the first try, etc. No stats whatsoever. I can’t even figure out what the little icons are that appear when you win. The game is far more challenging than I expected but it would be improved if it went somewhere..Version: 4.2

Mostly there are bad reviews. this is a very fun and addictive game but it doesn’t seem how many times you write bad reviews they do not fix the problems. Tonight every time you try to go into it, it just reverts back to the main screen and you cannot play. The screen shrinks and you can’t see a thing unless you get a magnifying glass. The game starts out fine then the first time it goes to an ad it goes to a political ad but when the game does come back on, it has shank to about 1/3 of the size. ✓ What on earth has happened to this game?At one time I played Onnect lots, enjoyed the ‘unwinding’ effect it had after a busy day…..but changes have occurred and they’re NOT good! Adverts are far too frequent (and I’d normally happily accept a few as I appreciate where funding for development comes from) But having to sit through two or three at a time, or the same advert twice, in order to discover that the reward system has frozen is utterly beyond the pale. ✓ Misleading Ads; Fun, Pay-to-PlayI downloaded this after watching a couple ads in other games/apps & on social media. The ads & promos for Onnect are misleading, as the boards are neatly set up like typical memory games and/or Mahjong rather than the random heap of tiles/cards/images as depicted in the ads. Not a huge deal, because obviously it’s easier to find pairs in a formatted board versus a heap. Plus, it’s possible that the board changes as players progress in the game. I played a few rounds & while it is fun, there is a lot left to be desired. The rules are simplistic - match images - but don’t exactly follow Mahjong rules. Sometimes a pair successfully matches that is blocked by other tiles/images & sometimes the game won’t accept a pair made that way. Rounds are pretty quick, depending on ability and play style, which normally wouldn’t be too much of a problem, but there is at least one, sometimes two 30-second ads between rounds. I get it - developers like to be paid for their services/work, especially in free games. But again I’d rather pay up front for a game - even take a risk on quality/enjoyment - than spend more time watching ads than actually playing a game. Features like image selection are set up to look like players have the freedom to make those choices but only when subscriptions are purchased. Again, I get it, but it’s misleading & frustrating. Overall, it’s fun but frustrating and there are plenty of other games out there to try instead..Version: 4.2
✓ Too many bugs and adsIt’s infuriating to sit through the constant adds, only to come back and the game hasn’t loaded properly. I’ve had the images so small I can’t tell them apart, or askew on the page so you can’t see a couple of rows of images, or you can’t access the option bar along the bottom. Sometimes it freezes. The only way to continue after all these problems is to close out of the app and then sit through all the adds again. ✓ Used to be a favoriteThis game was a favorite of mine for a long time. Now, it is still a good game but I DO NOT ENJOY IT OR PLAY IT like I did before, because of the long annoying ads. I don’t stick around for 25-30 second ads. I leave the game immediately and go to a game with short ads. Yes, long ads quickly “send me packing”. And on to a different game. So, this game is no longer a favorite. By the way, it doesn’t take 30 SECONDS for the point of the ad or the advertised message to “sink in” for most people. Like me,most people get the idea of the ad in 5 seconds. Also, I NEVER INSTALL a game that is shown in a 30 second ad. HOWEVER, I DO INSTALL games that are advertised in 5 or 10 second ads. ✓ Has potentialI enjoy this game to a point, however I have a few frustrations. I really hate that the game closes a lot but won’t save my place. Even if I have paused it, if it closes, it reopens with changes. Some of the tiles will be totally different and everything will be in a new place. Sometimes even the entire theme totally changes. I should be able to pause the game indefinitely and have everything the way I leave it, when I come back to it. Also, some themes appear a lot and some rarely do. ✓ Lag issueJenny K Love this game, but didn’t play for a few days due to Thanksgiving. Suddenly today there’s a HUGE lag like the game is missing something. The images in each board move so slowly it’s like old computer games if you had too many things running at once, BUT I had nothing else running. I power cycled my phone, issue still there. I deleted the game, losing my over 1300 searches & at least that many remixes & what board I was on! Downloaded again & it seemed to be fine at first, but got to board 10 & the same thing. The game was updated yesterday it says for bug fixes, but apparently it didn’t fix it. I have iOS 14.2 & again, wasn’t running anything else with the game. ✓ Used to like it, USED being the...USED to being the operative words here. I now struggle to even ‘like’ it now. I’m sick to death of all the adds. Some of the games give the option to carry on from where you ran outa time, but to have this, you have to watch ads. Yesterday I was playing and I nearly got rid of all the things, but when game went off I was left with half a dozen or so..came back after watching yet another ad, got rid of them, then it gave me another ad to watch.. this one was 35seconds long. However I have played for 50 seconds and then had 200 seconds of ads, the worst is when in one commercial break, I see the same ad twice or an ad for another game I am already playing. The Apple feed algorithm needs serious help. The algorithm should also track and not send ads to games you have already tried and gotten off your system. That is a waste of time. There needs to be a way to force an ad not to run after a set number of times, or to opt-out of specific ads. ✓ Unhappy updateI have played this game for, I’m guessing, over three years. I loved it, all my older children would spend time trying to beat the more difficult boards with me when they came home from college. Played the next round. Rules were different than the first - sometimes the tiles stay where they are, regardless of other tiles around them being removed, other times they drop, other times they move in different directions. I think I was able to play about 5 rounds. A couple of times, after playing a round, an ad would come up, and then the screen would go to black - either on its own, or because I used the “x” at the top of the screen. Once I had a black screen, the only way out was to shut down the app, and then try to replay... only to encounter an ad before I could play, and ending up with the same “black screen - shut down - reopen - have to watch an ad” scenario. ✓ OnnectThis game is great! It’s challenging, but not so that it is impossible. My one and only gripe ( which will probably cause me to delete this game) is the ADs. If the level is easy, you will see an AD after every 1-2 minutes. If the level is hard, it might be 3-5 minutes before the next ad. If the level is extra hard, after 5-7 minutes, the level times out and then AD. If you beat the level........AD. I just timed my play, and it went like this: 1 minute of play/30 second AD. 1 min. 15 seconds play/30 se. AD. 40 sec. play/5 sec. AD. 60 sec. play/30 sec. AD 4 min. play/5 sec. AD 1 min. 30 sec. play/30 sec. AD. The game does randomly skip to the next level without an AD but those times are very rare. Pretty much at the beginning of the game(level 1-4, and then very rare from then on out. I understand why there is ads, but, for 8 minutes of playing time, I sat through 2 minutes and 10 seconds of 5-30 second ADs. Ridiculous. If it was my app, I would make it so that when you clear the level , there is a 5 sec. ad..If the level is cleared in one attempt, no ad. If the level times out before you are finished, 30 sec. ad. The way it’s done now, the annoyance of the ads outweighs the pleasure of the game. And 9.49monthly or 3.49 weekly, in my opinion is way too much. Just my opinion. P.S. I like the game, BUT (and it’s a big but) the ads are incessant; I appreciate and understand that they are necessary but there are way too many to fully enjoy the game. On top of that there’s the fact that you can only play for two or three games in a row before - after watching yet another ad - the screen goes blank and you can’t continue with another game for five or ten minutes, it’s very frustrating to just get going and into the swing of things then find you can’t go any further! Not only do I now have to watch ads after more than half the games, I also have to put up with the distraction of ads in the banners at the bottom of the screen while I am playing the match game. ✓ Bombs & no time limit, diamonds?I like playing. I have 3 issues. 1-I’m not asking for access to all the themes. I would like to turn off/on the ones I do have access to though. The buttons to do so are not locked. Yet, when I try to turn one off, it takes me to the screen for the weekly/monthly deal. Some themes even show a little crown as the on/off switch, designating those are the premium access. Fine, but I want to access the ones that are shown as open/useable to me. 2-Same as others’ complaints- it does an auto shuffle with available pairs still showing. The ads are incessant and spoil the whole game play flow (though I do sit around for that 30 seconds when I want to play to keep on playing). ✓ Addictive but frustratingI was going to rate this higher (possibly 3-4 stars) but since the latest update the number of ads has just gotten out of control. I understand the need for ads but if the premium ad-free package wasn’t so expensive I might consider purchasing it. ✓ BoringI don’t like it. The puzzles are fun when they stay still and have more straight forward images but the ones that have meticulous detail that’s smaller and runs along the same color lines I hate. They also move and shuffle every time you make a play so you can’t remember anything or get multiple pairs in a row. If you find two images side by side and you’ve spotted another one as well, as soon as you pick the first pair the other ones will move and separate from being another set. This guarantees that you have to watch ads for more and more playing time, because the time won’t be enough to complete it in one go because things move so much, which for me takes away from the fun. I also think the game is unfair with the distance that it will accept. Meaning if u see a pair that has a straight path with nothing blocking it, sometimes it won’t let you choose it as a set and I’m assuming it feels it’s too far which can be annoying especially when you turn around and use a hint after not being able to find a pair and it shows you a similar choice that is also far with no blockage? ✓ Latest update has spoiled the whole gameI loved this game and I’ve played it a lot over the last year or so. I really like the fact that I can play for two minutes or an hour... it’s very flexible like that. ✓ Ruined by latest updatesThis has been my favourite switch-off, de-stress, unwind game for a long time. I have been a subscriber, but not for long as I didn’t really see the benefit as I rarely use the cheats. Since the games latest “improvements” it is shockingly awful. I hated the introduction of frozen blocks and jellies, and the walls, but have managed to stick with it until I barely notice them anymore. However my biggest complaint is the repetitiveness of the games. OMG. Despite the game number changing at the top of the screen, I am literally playing the same half dozen games on a loop. I’ve never had this happen with any other (and much more complex games). The game is laggy both during game play and during ads. Many of the ads just freeze up and I have to shut down the game completely and loose any rewards or gameplay I’d accomplished. I’ve also noticed I will sometimes start a game with no ad, then it suddenly pops up, and while it’s playing the game timer is still going! Also hate the new way to get tools compared to last version. It’s hard to get enough to keep playing. Let’s talk about the ads. First of all, they are boring, repetitive, sometimes insulting, and also, do they even care about demographics at all? Here’s how it goes: want to play a game? Watch an ad. Finished playing a round? ✓ System issues6/18 working puzzles 664 and 665 - will not let you select obvious matches. When you select your clues to show a match - there wasn’t one. Or they give you tile without a match. Using the sorting option - doesn’t change anything. Still unable to select obvious matches. Shut game down to get back in. Sometimes the game resets from the beginning (doing this on earlier puzzles as well) or it works. I keep planning because it’s addictive but the glitches are very annoying. 6/4 _ puzzles 361 and 362 do not contain the appropriate matches. ( I have screen shots). You have to shut down and then go back to complete these two. Game sticks and will not let you match those that are pairs. You end up using up all of your free hint, etc, and it still won’t connect the pairs.., (puzzle 309) did this throughout. Limiting the time to complete the puzzle after several attempts. And it didn’t auto adjust when there were clearly no matches. And when I went to change images it only changed 3 and left the others so again no matches. ✓ Great concept, annoying featuresAgree with everything that has been said about excessive ads and way too high a price for removing them (some comments say that you still have to suffer them if a bomb explodes!). And yes, BOMBS! They are on top of my hate list. They don’t add anything to the game as getting them relies more on chance than a skill. I make sure to close the game before the bomb explodes and reopen so that the game reshuffles and get chance to kill the b....y thing and I don’t have to watch the same ad for the tenth time. Even if there isn’t a bomb, the little hint icon keeps blinking like an overzealous student (“I know, I know, why don’t you ask me!”) and that annoys the hell out of me when I’m trying to work out my next move. Sometimes I do switch to airplane mode but then every couple of seconds a little warning slides down “no network access”, so that’s annoying as well. Graphics are good except the one with famous landmarks, which is dull. I like different modes of game including the one that slides in all directions. Oh, just remembered. The game reshuffles automatically when there’s no possible move but I noticed couple of times when there was a move I was just about making when it started shaking and reshuffled. ✓ Addictive but frustratingThis is a simple game that is fun and addictive. However the amount of adverts is almost unbearable. You cant even pause the game without having to watch an advert! I understand why ads are necessary in a free game but this goes beyond anything i have every experienced before! Additionally the levels that have bombs where the tiles don't move around depend entirely on the luck of the draw and are often impossible. The bombs are a fun added extra but they should only be on levels where the tiles move so you atleast have a chance..Version: 4.2
