✓ Good but not greatI really love the whole idea behind this app. I love the way it feels like a real phone and the attention to detail-like how the time stamps on the messages are the same as real life! But the real let down is the locked content! I am playing without a subscription so receive notifications for things I cannot even access without paying! I think I’d rather pay upfront for the app rather than constantly be reminded to ‘unlock’. Maybe if the content were a little more titillating I may have subscribed, instead of reminding free customers what they don’t have, perhaps if more was available initially for free customers we would pay for the upgrade. ✓ There’s potential hereIn theory this app sounded great, but in reality it’s incredibly dull. There is nothing to do except read texts and watch a few Instagram-story-like videos. There’s nothing that really feels interactive about this app, and you could essentially read the summary at the start and completely ignore the app until the last few minutes of the final day and have missed very little of the story. I’m not sure there’s much you could do with this kind of app interactive wise, but at least maybe adding in access to their photo library or their Facebook page, something more than just reading texts would make this app far better in my opinion. I’ve also unlocked some chats with keys on one story and didn’t unlock any on another, and the story still made sense without the unlocking, so I don’t really see the point of the keys/locked chats personally. All in all a lot more could’ve been done with this app in my opinion; there’s potential for it to be much better than it is, but currently I don’t think it’s worth playing..Version: 1.1.0

✓ Links are all broken & ads hardly ever workThe concept of the game is cool but it’s infuriating that you watch an ad to get coins to unlock chats/emails/pics etc and the X button for the ad never shows up. You watch 20 ads and it either freezes during the ad if you accidentally touch the screen once, or if it’s one of those ads where you gave to click this button once >>> And then the X then Too bad so sad. I am sick of never getting credit for any of the ads I’ve watched. The ads worked for me during the first episode but after that they only work when you click ADVANCE to get to the next episode. It directs you to the page to get coins with ads and works this time when you click them. Then there’s links that the characters will send like “check out what i just saw on the news!” They link the news article then… some broken page about the domain and owner of the page etc and you see nothing about what was supposed to be on the page. But waaaayyy too frustrating when you have dozens of locked texts, emails, photos, etc and then have to pay out the hoo-ha or watch dozens of ads just to get a few coins that are only enough to open a fraction of the locked things. And then proceed to have to wait hours to be able to watch a bunch of ads only to do the same. You end up spending more time letting ads play than actually playing the game..Version: 2.19.8.0
✓ Go back to what keys opened but with coinsSo I found this app near it’s beginning and I have loved these stories. However the change from keys, to subscription only, to now coins has been much too aggressive. I will say I really like the “watch a short ad” to open a convo up. However, I just started 10 miles from home, and there wasn’t a single background story to read before the first message without spending coins. You could read the main character before things went down, and it left too much to question on what the others were saying. Not one three could you go back in time! There was no really getting to know the character like before, and no catching up on previous messages unless you paid a couple coins for EVERY SINGLE ONE. If I were a new person to this I would be sorely disappointed and have no idea what is happening. In the first 24 hours I didn’t get a relevant message that something had happened to the main character until I spent 225 coins on the main thread (band-camp), which in any other story that thread would have been included. I support the coin/ad model, and would watch them to open up thread that used to cost keys. However you need to think a little harder about how your implementing it. If a watch an ad/coins model were available before I would’ve watched and opened every convo that was locked behind keys, I only reserved them since I couldn’t earn them easily. Now someone new can’t even understand what is happening..Version: 2.7.12.1

✓ Good game but forces you to spend moneyI like this game but the whole “coin” thing is annoying, you have to spend coins to unlock messages, photos, emails and episodes, you have to wait 14-15 hours for only 50 odd coins, I honestly don’t mind watching adds for ingame currency, but the amount you get is useless compared the amount you have to spend to unlock things, so in a way you’re kind of forced to spend money. I haven’t spend any money for coins and I don’t plan on spending 4.99 for a few coins anytime soon, as I don’t think it’s worth it although I really like the game, unfortunately I feel like it’s just one of those I’ll eventually get bored/annoyed of because of the coins and will just end up deleting which is a shame..Version: 2.17.3.0
✓ Interesting concept, not great executionI find the idea and concept behind this idea really interesting, and yet the execution of it isn’t the level it needs to be to be convincing. The chat between friends is extremely cringey and not realistic, as well as some of the Story content. The texts become overtly staged and feel contrived, especially towards the end. Especially when the character is revealed to be dead, and yet other characters who know the person is dead and yet still message accusing texts they know they’ll never receive an answer to!? The second problem I have with this, is when you start receiving messages asking the owner of the phone to contact you. If you’re able to unlock the phone, and read the messages... shouldn’t you be able to reply!? It feels extremely uncomfortable..Version: 2.2.6

✓ Loving the gameI am absolutely loving this game. I like how you can speed the game up a bit and that you can watch ads to earn coins. However, on day 6 of the game all the ads stop working almost like it’s frozen. The X to close ad never pops up at end and the only way to get back to game is close the game completely and reopen. When you do that it doesn’t recognize that you watched the ad. I think the game might need an UPDATE because I started having this problem right after doing an update on my iPad to the new iOS or whatever it is called. Other than that it’s a really brilliant game and I can’t wait to see how the first story ends..Version: 2.20.2.0
✓ Nice concept, but I’ll stick to books thanks.I loved the concept of this and initially was impressed with the texts, pictures, vids and emails as an insight into a characters story. However, it quickly became apparent that to open out text histories, you need to spend a lot of coins, only for the conversation to be pointless e.g you would open up a hidden message that has 1 emoji or “no” (in other words a waste of coin). As the story progressed, I used less coin on idle chat but possibly left out a lot and it was clear I’d need to spend a lot of real money on coins, to open out hidden chats/mails etc with hidden characters. So I ended up spending most of my time watching adverts to get free coins over a few days to open out 1 thing, which when revealed, was often pointless. The voice calls acting also seemed pretty fake too. The story was not gripping enough for the waiting nor to spend money on, so I concluded my time was better spent somewhere else; App deleted..Version: 2.7.9.0
✓ Disappointed with the changesI would have rated this app 5 stars last year, now my rating has decreased to 2 stars. This app is such a good idea, and you used to be able to buy keys to unlock conversations, however now you have to subscribe. I’m sorry but I am not paying £9.99 or £30 just to unlock a couple of conversations!! Are you joking? £9.99 is for one month only as well!! I might just delete the app because I can’t use it fully, unless the keys are brought back. I really hope the developers will think about my review because the idea of this app is so good, but charging so much is going to put people off when there are similar apps which are free or only cost a little. If changes are made I will consider giving more stars. Very disappointed. Changed to 1 star because you can’t use the app unless you enable notifications, it’s so annoying to have my phone constantly going off that I have to keep switching on and off the notifications. ✓ It’s cool but….So when you start the game, there’s a lot of info to catch up on, but once you’re caught up, then you have to spend keys and coins to unlock texts, videos, pics, emails etc. and those cost real money. I wouldn’t gave a problem spending some money because the game is pretty cool, but I can always tell I’m going to have to spend A LOT to get anywhere. 250 coins to unlock a text feed, and they want $6 for 550 coins. That’s just one text feed lol I’ll prob delete it because of this. When you want to play it receiving the texts as real life is awesome however when I put my phone down to do things it went off non stop. ✓ Good concept but needs polishingThe concept of this game is great however, some issues have pushed me to cancel my subscription. First of all, there are not enough stories to justify paying for a subscription in the long term. Second, not all stories are as immersive as I would have hoped for. The “Last Seen Online” story is what pushed me to subscribe in the first place, I was amazed by it. However, the rest of the stories don’t use the same features such as the calls, emails, and gallery tabs which I find is a shame. Other issues include some problems playing stories, receiving messages... Nevertheless, great concept, a lot of potential and had a great first experience. ✓ Great conceptI absolutely loved this app, I’ve only done one case but the quality that has gone in to making this app is fantastic. However I’m in two minds about my rating which is why I’ve got half way. I would have given 5* but unfortunately it is set in real time and that makes it very frustrating! Sometimes having to wait 7 hours for one irrelevant message to come through and then another 3 hours for the next message, it really took the fun and excitement out of this concept! The idea itself is truly great, they have news stories and insta pages and the whole experience feels too real but just when your getting in to the story your hit with a 7 hour wait it completely ruins the excitement and because of that it makes you not want to try any more cases! ✓ It’s not a game it’s a drawn out soap operaIt’s not an interactive game, its like you have the murdered persons phone and you read the text messages to guess who killed them, if you run out of coins you can’t advance and get more of the story or open up texts and so it tries to force you into buying coins, if you opt out of paying £5 for coins you have to watch 7, 30 second videos and when you run out of coins your waiting till the next day for them to renew…its very drawn out, I think if it was more interactive it would be fun but as it is you just read text messages from the murdered phone and try and guess who the murderer is, I’d rather watch eastenders…on a plus it’s well made and I liked the characters they did really well, if it was interactive it would be an awesome but you don’t even get rewarded at the end if you guess who the killer is.Version: 2.19.0.0
✓ Good concept, okay executionI love the concept but found the actual app experience a little underwhelming. I’ve only done one story so far but noticed details that ruined the immersion. For example one character linked a news piece and the headline above it spoiled the ending of this experience?? What’s the point? Also, Kam texted Josie at 7pm saying I’m outside, she replied a few minutes later saying I’m coming - yet his broadcast is a video of her playing guitar at 7pm? Oh and Kam is asleep on a bus being watched by a potentially dangerous stalker so Josie texts him a few times then nothing?! I would be blowing up my friends phone until I knew they were safe! I appreciate it must be difficult to pull an app like this off but those things really stuck out..Version: 1.8.3

✓ Hmm…Interesting storyline but you have to use either keys or coins to advance, and you need to pay money for coins or keys. So the first day has the messages in real time, but by the third day I couldn’t advance without waiting for daily rewards because who actually pays real money for these games when you work for minimum wage 🙃. I came back to the ending being spoiled when I attempted to advance after a few days of waiting to get enough coins to pay for the next day’s advancement. ✓ Too CringeyI love the concept of this app and enjoy receiving the notifications and going along with the story but I have a few issues with it: 1. It is far to pricey for the extra content and not worth it in my opinion. I paid £9.99 for one month and don’t see myself extending the subscription for a small amount of content that I could do without. The locked conversations are pointless and frustrating. 2. The way the texts are written is quite cringey. I can understand it to a certain extent but it doesn’t feel realistic and there is a lot of use of emojis that really take away from the situation - especially crying emojis at important moments!! Nobody does that. The acting in the stories is also slightly painful at times and please get rid of the audio messages they are ridiculously fake. I wish they would invest more in the realistic experience of what someone would actually post (e.g. parents posting life updates etc). 3. There just isn’t enough variation in the content you receive. I love the story progression but it can be very slow and at times without depth. It would be nice to have some kind of interactive element like pop ups and votes or even a way to chose which text to send would be brilliant! There is so much potential in this app but they really need to ditch the stale acting and create a realistic and immersive experience like they promise..Version: 1.5.4

✓ App tells you the killer before you’ve finished the gameI’ve never left a game review before, but this game has frustrated me so much. Love the concept of the game, really cool idea. Played through days 1-4 using the free keys, then ran out, so waited a day or two to get enough free coins to advance. When I came back to the game, it played an outro telling me who the killer was and how the story ended. Assumed it was a glitch so tried to forget the outro and started from the beginning. This time I only got three days in before it told me the ending and wouldn’t let me play any further. This is even though I played it less than 24hrs ago. I get them wanting to keep the app in real-time, but then they shouldn’t expect that everyone wants to pay. I’d rather have paid 3.99 to buy the game than it be free and to keep buying extras. ✓ NOW LIVEFirst story “Last seen online” pure brilliance. Well thought out. Great story line. And an emotional roller coaster. Since that story ended and UNRD the app was released all of the stories have seemed rushed, not much plot to the stories, predictable/rushed endings, and to be fair a waste of £4 on keys for each story. “Now Live” most predictable of the lot, I won’t spoil it for anyone who hasn’t read it but if you have 1/2 a brain you can pretty much work it out from day 2 also quite a few glitches/errors in this story. “Silent Truth” most unthought of story of the lot and to be fair boring. “My last 3 Days” not bad to be fair.. then the latest release “The big question” another disappointing ending and disappointing 8 day read. Some of the characters really made me p***ed off especially Sophie absolutely hate the character. Why not just concentrate on like 2 quality stories like “Last seen online” rather than loads of crap ones. Just done “the next 3 days” where you have the phone of Perri it’s decent except on the last few hours of the story it freezes and that’s it. ✓ Please don't download.1) Not sure if anyone else has had this problem: When I opened the app on my phone, it asked me to 'share with friends' and wouldn't let me pass unless I sent it to 3 people. I accept that word of mouth is a good way to spread your app but it wouldn't let me access anything withouy sharing- every time I tapped close it just came up again. I do share apps etc. with my friends often but I don't like being forced to like this. 2) I downloaded the app on my iPad and it didn't make me share, so I got into Last Seen Online. The app gave me 350 coins straight away and I unlocked a conversation that turned out to be useless. They draw you into purchasing conversations with dramatic previews and then they turn out to be useless, nothing important to the story and after 1 dramatic text to lure you in, they just talk about what to have for dinner etc. and you have wasted your coins on nothing. You have no way of knowing whether what you are unlocking is important or just crap like people saying 'lets have pizza'. This entirely pay-to-win strategy is unbelivable. I would happily pay £15 to download the app and then have complete access to everything rather than paying £5 & £5 & £5 & £5 and so on. Junk please do not download..Version: 2.9.4.0

✓ Be warnedReally good game, as like most games tries to get you to pay a fair chunk to skip/unlock things but you can play without. Only annoying bit is that the app used to be called UNRD which I played ages ago. (Didn’t know this until I downloaded and started playing) when I first downloaded I got a welcome/new download bonus of free coins and keys. Then a pop up for saving progress came up. So I sign up and it recognises my mobile number from the old game. Do that and it closes the game down and when I reload all my progress has been lost as well as the coins and keys I’d earned! FAQ on game says difficult to get back without knowing your temporary game ID. And who knows that? Just feel a bit let down as its a waste of the last couple of days!.Version: 2.19.8.0
✓ I have problemsIt’s truly a decent game. I’d give it at least 4 stars if I haven’t been running to so many bugs lately. I can get over them except for the ad issue. The most important conversations are locked, right? But they give us an option to watch ads for the keys to those conversations and for coins and etc. Well tell me why whenever I watch an ad, literally every single time, once the ad finishes it just stays on that screen and refuses to change. I could sit there and press the x 30 times, if the x button to close out of the ad even shows up, and nothing happens. At first it was dismissible. But after it happening after every single ad I’ve watched of course I’m irritated. I’ve watched countless ads and I’ve had to close out of the app and lose the reward because it just sits there. ✓ Too expensive to enjoy - THE COST OF COINS IS A JOKE!You can’t enjoy this app without constantly spending money. And I mean SPENDING. £4.99 allows you to open just a few messages and you need more than that just to be able to get to the end of the story. If you don’t purchase coins, you might still be able to get to the end of the story but with half the information just to find out who killed the character. Although there are stories where you need coins just to get to the next episode. And what’s most frustrating is that you get through a story over a few days, you read real time messages, you wake up on the morning of last day to catch up on messages you haven’t seen yet just to simply see who the killer was. No opportunity to read through all the content first and try to figure out who did which would make it more exciting. I wouldn’t mind paying a one off fee and have all the content. Or paying £1 per story but to ACTUALLY see everything in that story. Also, we should be able to read through all messages before being given the ending. There should be option at the end eg. “Are you ready to see last episode and to find out who killed so and so and see if you guessed correctly”. Otherwise it’s just so pointless and very frustrating simply reading the messages. Great concept but too many missed opportunities to make it exciting for users and make us feel like we’re trying to solve the crime and see if we’re correct at the end..Version: 2.17.2.0

✓ Great idea but......Like some other reviewers I think this is a brilliant concept and I have really enjoyed the stories I have read so far (Last Seen Online, My Last Three Days, The Next Three Days and Who Killed Callux). I have recommended the app to my friends. I'm currently reading The Silent Truth and it's awesome the amount of effort put in with the blog and pod casts etc. I know other people have said this one is too slow but so far I'm enjoying the pace. However, it is true that the app is buggy. Videos and stories often don't load despite decent internet access and there are other little glitches. Finally, the recent update has removed the ability to watch an ad to get a key or pay as you go, and now the only way to unlock additional content is to join the club - this is very disappointing. For me to subscribe to something for a year I'd need to know what the service provision is for a year - with unrd you just don't know that. What if they stop releasing stories or I'm just not interested in those they do?.Version: 1.3.5
✓ Coins missing - No supportBeware! Up until a few days ago I would’ve given this app 5 stars however after an app update, thousands of coins I’d saved up were lost. Support were responsive for about two days as we tried to navigate what the issue was but after I answered more of their questions they have completely ignored me. No solution - nothing. I have made in-app purchases in the past and recruited other people to play who have also made purchases so you’d think they’d show a bit of goodwill like other game developers but this is not the case here. ✓ Average gameThis game is pretty cool, the whole concept of being a "detective" is interesting to me and watching how the story progresses is fun, however, it gets repetitive after a little while. this game is very pay to win as coins are VERY expensive, considering you can only do so much with them because chat unlocks are like 250 and also if you want to time skip that can be expensive too. also, i feel as if the stories drag on for a little too long. like last seen online, it takes so long for the characters to actually do anything which yeah, it kinda simulates real life but this is a game where people dont have as much patience because we already know whats coming (sort of) and if you want to skip it takes up a lot of your coins finally, theres not many parts of this game which are really interactive except for unlocking stuff and looking through messages.. personally i think that there should be more gameplay to it, like you actually ARE a detective then eventually you interrogate the characters, finding out who it is etc etc overall, i do think that its pretty fun. i enjoy leaving it on while im asleep and at school so i can read all of the new messages when i go back onto my phone. but to actually progress enough, i have to watch many ads just to get coins. but yeah, this game is quite a cool and creative idea, i enjoy it.Version: 2.20.2.0

✓ Not impressedI really like the idea of the same and it would be really addictive if there were any options to progress other than having to pay for keys or share a link that hardly anyone would use. I noticed the game makers were offering free keys to anyone who left a review, I left 4/5 stars and explained how great the game is but my issue with the keys as normal games will either make you wait a few days to get something you need to progress but this game kind of forces you to pay for them. ✓ Needs improvingI am enjoying the experience but it loses a couple of stars for a few reasons. 1. It’s so expensive to buy just a few keys, if it started out with more than only 6 keys or allowed you to watch ads to gain more or even if it was like 99p for 12 (considering it’s 3 keys per text) then it would be fine but I’m losing out on crucial info due to not being able to afford keys. 2. It crashes more times than I’d be ok with, especially if there’s a live going on, this needs to be fixed. 3. Possibly the most important point - there is no point. This isn’t a game. ✓ NOT a game… Hugely disappointing.This is NOT a game, it is a STORY. You do ZERO investigating, and have ZERO to do with solving the case. The app is set up to look like the victim’s iPhone screen. You spend 7 days, in real time, reading the victim’s texts and emails, and listening to voicemails that were and are still being sent. Many of them are locked and require the use of keys or coins to unlock, which you have to spend real money to buy. You are also forced to use keys or coins to “advance” after each day; if you don’t, the story does not progress. However, I reiterate, you, the “player”, actually do NOTHING to help solve the crime. Progressing in this game is simply to feed your theories, like reading a mystery novel to the end (except that you can’t just flip through pages of this story for free; you have to spend money if you want to see how it ends). The characters are the ones who chat amongst themselves and eventually solve the murder. Huge waste of money… This WOULD be a cool concept, if you actually had to do anything, but nope… Also, several glitches. ✓ Did not receive purchase!My daughter and I loved Last Seen Online, so when Unrd showed up we were all over it. Yesterday I made a purchase of $5.99 for 50 keys on my phone and then a separate purchase on my daughter’s phone, also $5.99 for 50 keys. 50 keys were delivered to my phone, but my daughter’s phone never received her keys! I thought maybe it didn’t go through so I had her do it again and still nothing! The purchase for hers WAS made on her phone and we both received a receipt for TWO purchases of $5.99 made to her phone but she still has no keys. Can someone please help me resolve this? ✓ Frustratingly slow gameplay!If I was rating the actual game, I would give a much higher rating as I love it! However, the gameplay is incredibly slow. It takes ages for my button press to take effect (fine on every other game or app I use!) If I watch an ad to get coins, more often than not, the coins don’t get registered so I have to watch about 3-4 ads (sometimes more) just to get one ‘ads-worth’ of coins. It’s incredibly frustrating and that is making me not want to play. The actual game, however, is great! Some of the conversations are hard to believe. But the twists at the end are great! ✓ Wait time is too longThe game was interesting for the first 3 hours because you have coins and keys to unlock texts/pics/vms/speed up time. After that it’s a drag. You have to wait HOURS for a text. I had to wait 10 hours (or spend 650 coins) for 1 text message so it’s more of a waiting game then an actual strategy game. They set it up like this so you will spend money but id rather uninstall, google it, and get on with my life. Waiting games are fine but the max wait time should be 2 hours MAX, 10 hours is redundant and annoying. Also the waiting is consistent. You get 5 text in 5 mins, get 1 text 5 hours later, 1 more text 10 hours later, 2 texts 2 hours later, then another 5 texts in 5 mins. You can watch ads if you don’t want to pay but you can only watch 5 ads and get 20 coins per ad but the max 100 coins will only speed it up about 30 mins. ✓ Turned into a con for moneyThe quality of this app and the stories that are in it I can’t fault. However the recent introduction of the subscription has come with a lot of false promises. I don’t mind paying for a subscription because as I said the content is of good quality but to promise potential subscribers more than one story a month when there is only one being released once every 6-8 weeks is false advertising. Also raising subscription costs despite no content being added also seems a bit suspicious and the release dates on the app being completely ignored and not even acknowledged. I understand that the app is new and need time to work out what works etc but the team are also ignoring any negative comments on the Facebook group and only responding to the positive ones. ✓ Big ol fat raspberryThis “game” is not a game. It’s a sit and wait for something to be solved for you while you waste time watching ads for coins that don’t actually help you advance. If it’s such a mystery and you can’t wait for it to take 12 days to finish, find a spoiler online and get the story yourself. The first one dragged on sooooo slooooooowly that after day 3, I gave it up. You’re expected to unlock text threads and emails that may or may not give any hints on the situation going on. Once you’ve wasted the crap ton of coins you receive on the first day, you’re stuck paying money to essentially read a mystery or playing ads all day long. The purpose of a game is you’re interacting with and choosing. This doesn’t require anything. There’s no game whatsoever. If you just leave the thing alone for 9 days, it will advance by itself. ✓ Too many notificationsReally awesome concept I love stuff like this. I definitely think it’s way overpriced though, and the amount of notifications you’ll receive throughout a story is absolutely maddening. If the characters are having a conversation your phone will be buzzing constantly. I get that the messages come in real time just like life but this isn’t life it’s a game and it’s honestly not fair to take over my phone like that. Send two or three notifications and then tell me I have to open the app to read the rest or something. Plus you get notifications for the character whose phone you have so it’s actually twice as bad. Still love the concept, I’ve done two stories, one was fun and the second one I didn’t like. I’ll keep an eye on this app though maybe come back when there are more stories see if anything is better. ✓ Could be betterI absolutely LOVED the Last Seen Online game. It was perfect. I then downloaded UNRD and tried the live stream one. It had quite a few errors in the texts such as people saying the wrong thing. I also had trouble with the live videos loading. If you missed the exact second something happened, you missed it. Half the time I was wondering what the characters were taking about. I then played the last 3 days one, again it’s full of errors. Eg the main protagonist says “call the police” on day 4 when this clearly is supposed to come from Harriet (Josie is against calling the police). Also, I HATE the keys thing. You have to buy keys to unlock the parts of the texts you can’t see. However in LSO, you could pay a one off fee to see the whole thing. I felt like I was getting my money’s worth that way because now you use 3 keys to unlock some texts and you may hit the jackpot and unlock 100 texts. Other times you only get a handful. ✓ Disappointed with subscription changes and glitchesI think this is a brilliant idea for an app and I’ve found it quite addictive. But I think the recent decision to introduce subscription for full content is a mistake. Making people have to pay in this way is frustrating and the quality of the app isn’t good enough to warrant it. The app crashes too much and some stories have a lot of glitches. Equally the quality of the writing at times is very poor and unrealistic as well as some of the acting. It’s great as a free app and the idea of getting ppl to watch ads to unlock extra content was fine, but forcing ppl to pay to unlock the full experience invites criticism. ✓ Last Seen OnlineYears ago I played Last seen online when it was a stand alone game. The experience I had with that version of the story was great. The story felt intriguing, you were drawn in, and it felt very real. I would say the game had a real emotional impact on me. It felt as if you were actually reading someones messages and solving a crime. The version that is in this app misses the mark. It lacks the personal connection and intrigue due to the way it is set up. It is glitchy. The videos and pictures don’t load. The way messages come in changed. It doesn’t feel like you have Amys phone just feels like an app. This is also exasperated by the use of keys and coins, makes it feel way less real. URND you had a great game but you butchered the experience. I understand you want to make money by offering the use of coins and keys but in my opinion, this version of the story was poorly executed. ✓ Pretty GoodThis is a amazing very real game. I got so addicted to it within a day. It’s a good idea on how you be patient for texts to roll in and to find out we killed someone. Another thing is that it is very hard to get tokens to unlock things and coins as well. So you can’t even fully explore without paying to get more coins. They either A need to make it a little easier to view all the details or B more ways to get coins and tokens. It’s honestly ridiculous that to advance you have to have coins or a token which again are hard to get. So then you have to watch ads (which only give you 20 coins and you only get 5 a day) and build up to even move forward. Which means it could take you DAYS to even move forward. ✓ Brilliant app, way too expensiveI really enjoyed the first day - the app is well done, the story was interesting and well put together - but I then needed to spend about £5 to finish off the story. You unlock most of the content with coins - you can buy these, or get them for free by watching ads and getting a daily reward. I needed 500 coins to unlock the remaining texts, as I had already spent the free 500 you start off with by unlocking texts in the first day. Day 2 - The daily reward was about 40 coins, and you can get an extra 10/20 coins by watching adverts - it will take weeks to get 500 coins! Or.. I can spend 4.99 for 550 coins.. Unfortunately way too expensive at (assuming 1000 coins a story like Freshers) about £10 per story. Pity there isn't a subscription service - this is a really well done app, and I would have signed up for a subscription so I didn't feel like I was constantly being asked for money, and then wasting money on content that didn't actually progress the story..Version: 2.9.4.0

This app is so much fun. I got so into it, very quickly. I made one £4.99 purchase, 2x £1.99 and played ‘last seen online’ which is where I used these credits. I unlocked all texts, some photos and I think an email. This was this morning at about 2.10AM I’ve woken up and seen the story has gone back in time. I have no credits to show for it and I’ve been rewound back to the point before they’ve even left for the party, in fact they’ve not even got ready or had pre drinks. ✓ Shocking disrespect for customers/usersThis app is a huge money sponge - unscrupulously soo! Typical of most apps it’s free to download and then you need credits to open a story - credits which cost quite a bit even initially. This wouldn’t usually be an issue but I believe once you’ve paid for a story you should be able to access all of it. Instead you get about a third and even that is the unimportant parts. To access the real crux of the story you need to spend even more credits, sometimes a lot for a bunch of content, sometimes minuscule amount for small bits of content. Absolute money sponge and not in the slightest worth the amount of money they charge for the credits. I can only surmise that a lot of the positive reviews have come either from planted reviewers or people with huge bank balances. Warning to people just downloading to try - don’t bother, it’ll cost too much money. Warning to parents whose kids are badgering them for it - don’t go there. You’ll waste you’re hard earned money very very very quickly and the user still won’t be satisfied. ✓ It’s good but...For me, there’s way too little content for non-subscribers. Aside from that, it’s great, but the videos... could be better. I say that because my internet is really quite crap. I can get part of one side of the conversation (it’ll perhaps start with Kate, then Kate will freeze and then Mike sounds like he’s talking to the voices in his head), but that’ll only work for a few seconds - 5 tops. Time keeps ticking down, but there’s no movement on the screen so as apparently pivotal as these conversations are, I can only go by the texts. ✓ Pay to play scamThe saddest thing about this game is that it’s a genuinely great premise with a unique execution; however, the fact that a narrative driven game to this extent is essentially “pay to play” is inexcusable. Yes, you can watch ads to get coins, but it’s a minuscule amount and yes you can get coins by unlocking achievements—but guess what? You can’t complete achievements without coins and you can’t get coins without paying for them. Furthermore, the game makes it abundantly obvious which chats are the most important for you to understand the story, as they’re the ones behind the paywall. I downloaded this game yesterday evening and I’ve been working my way through Amy’s story, and though I genuinely enjoy it and am curious to know who was involved in her disappearance (I think Lexi is definitely not innocent) I don’t feel an incentive to keep playing as I know I will only get half of the story without shelling out a continuous steam of money. If I was going to pay for coins/keys, I’m still not going to spend the insane amount of money it would take for a single story, let alone all the stories on the app. Additionally, I was playing Last Seen Online, the first story you get. I hadn’t even finished Day 1, but when I opened the app to continue, it jumped straight to the end cutscene and ruined the entire experience. Deleted the app immediately after because I’m not wasting time and money on an app that is going to spoil the entire story at random. ✓ Not the bestReally good concept except the story ended and mentioned things that I was unaware of even happening. Daily coin reward wouldn’t come through and when I tried to watch videos to earn more or double rewards either the video didn’t work, or the coins wouldn’t be rewarded. Too many things are locked for the amount of coins that are given/able to get. ✓ Is it a game though? REMOVE DETECTIVE CHAT!So far (been “playing” for a week), I really like the story line. But I don’t see how this is a game, maybe I am not far enough ahead yet. But so far, the whole thing is just reading people’s texts and watching lots of ads to get coins to unlock content and read more messages as fast as possible. But that’s a pre-judgment, it could be that more user interaction comes later on. 1 note for improvement: REMOVE THE DETECTIVE CHAT. There are so many users who are not using the chat to help each other, but they’re giving spoilers “I am on day … and it’s … who did it.” Either remove the chat, or make separate chats for users that are on the same “day” in the game because people who are further ahead are spoiling it for those who just started. ✓ Too long - They want inside your pocketbookAt first, I was very excited about this game but then it became long and drawn out. It doesn’t help that all “detectives” were in a chat together and some would ruin the story by telling everyone who did it. Then the rest of us were all stuck just sitting through 8 days of waiting for the story to finally end so we could learn the details. (Story was ruined at least three times in the chat) Aside from how long and drawn out this game was, it is totally set up as a means to get your money. You have to pay coins or keys for everything if you want information and of course there were several characters that were just there for fluff so if you don’t figure out which ones they are then you’re just throwing away your free coins. Overall, the story was pretty good. although there were definitely areas that could’ve been improved upon that would’ve made it so much better. I’m glad it finally came to an end and now I will move on and find another game that has similar elements whose sole purpose isn’t to get inside my pocketbook..Version: 2.19.7.0
✓ Just started so bear with me-UPDATEI like the game and the concept. Keeps me entertained while nothings going on. And the drama is fun to read about. But who in their right mind is going to purchase coins just to get through the game? I don’t care how many coins you’ll give me for .99 cents. If I wanted to move through the game as fast as possible I’d understand buying them. But this is a 7 day thing with texts coming in through out the day. So why make it so hard for us to read through conversations? Update: This isn’t worth the hype. It’s a cool concept but you literally can’t do anything unless you constantly buy coins. You can watch a few videos but it’ll barely be enough to unlock one message thread. You can’t even switch to a new story until more texts come through. Well....you can but you’ll still have no coins. ✓ Buggy app and you need to watch lots of adsThe app plays up worse than any app I’ve ever had. You try to click on things and nothing happens, over and over again, it freezes often, it uses tons of battery, the ‘new messages’ fail to go to the top and messages often come through in the wrong order. The stories and format are not worth all the ad watching either. You need 10+ ads worth of ‘coins’ to unlock conversations (usually at least half), and coins to unlock calls, emails, photos. Then you also regularly need 10 ads worth of coins to advance the story. The format of waiting for new content (eg messages) to come through becomes infuriating. You wait 30 seconds between messages in ongoing conversations, then suddenly you have to wait an odd amount of time for another message like 8 or 20 minutes, and way too often you have to wait hours for something new. Some stories are good but usually it’s a really drawn out story waiting ages for what ends up being another irrelevant mundane conversation, or waiting for a really obvious twist to be discovered by the characters. I’ve been playing a boring story about a woman having an affair for 9 days now and it’s still not over!.Version: 2.20.2.0
✓ Would give it 5 butThis game is super heavy on pay to play. Everything needs coins. Coins to unlock past messages, to unlock conversations, to look at some pictures, emails and voicemails. The worse thing is that unlike most episode like games. This one has only one in game currency. You have to use the coins to unlock the next episode too. Instead of a different currency to unlock episodes. They also have no real great ways to earn coins if you are free to play. There is a few ads but not nearly enough. All of this is annoying and unfortunate because the story seems very real and interesting The texts you read seem realistic and not cheesy. I think if the developers took a step back on the massive amount of need for coins and/or offered more ways to earn coins without paying, this game could be great..Version: 2.7.6.1
✓ Good game but…Really good idea for a game. But I think the monetisation is a bit intense, you can’t even get through the first storyline properly without needing some cash or waiting a long time to collect enough coins to buy a key to open the next part. It’s also quite confusing about what you’re actually meant to be doing… you literally just read along on her phone as far as I can tell. There’s no real gameplay and no real instructions. Also some things don’t seem that well thought out or realistic. Like the fact that her mum thinks her daughter is missing and is saying to contact police but then shares cute pictures of her dog on her story a few minutes later? And not one person has tried to call her in two days of her being missing? I have to say though I’m invested in what happened to Amy now. I hope it’s not an obvious ending!.Version: 2.14.2.0
