However the Auto-renewal is on by default. I spent 2 hours working through the processes to finally turn off this function through live chat. Got home and as I was turning the vpn off a pop up occurred requesting me to auto renew which I inadvertently pressed. In the 2020s using a business strategy of ‘we are going to take your money by default and make it as hard as possible to prevent you from us doing so’. Should be shunned. An auto renewal button in settings should suffice (default to off).
