✓ Great but!It’s great however it could have better graphics and smoother animation and this it just my my opinion but I like the original icon for the app also more levels or a endless mode or costume levels or costume level like change the difficulty of the ai and how fast it is and changing we’re the doors are and if there are motion detectors or not.Version: 1.0.1
✓ Yawn.This is barely passable as a “game”. You “play” from a map where you can see the AI characters on the map and sometimes (if they are in front of one of the few cameras in whatever level you are on in the game) You can see them in somewhat 3D. Seeing your AI characters however, is a moot point since they are so stupid that you have to close doors, or tell them they need to run from an alien. Uhh. So basically the whole game is played from one screen. A map screen. You have to balance your actions with how much power you have. It’s a puzzle game and should be advertised as such. A boorish puzzler with an alien paint job pulled over it. The sound though. Yep. It’s....Aliens movies sound without the aliens umm, sound. The controls are impossible to review since you spend the entire game starring at the same but different boring map and just tap the screen. There’s no tutorial but when your game is paper deep, you don’t really need one..Version: 1.0.3
✓ Honest reviewSo I didn’t want to get this game originally, purely because of the disappointment of it not being a true Isolation sequel, but that was just me being petty. I’m hoping that the company needed some extra cash so they have made this to help fund isolation 2 🙏 also the fact that it doesn’t have any micro transactions convinced me to stop being a baby and just try it out, so I did. It’s pretty good fun, for about 45 minutes, when I completed the whole game. Seriously, this is not a long game by any stretch of the imagination. There are 7 levels and each one can be completed in about 5 or 6 minutes once you’ve figured out the mechanics of it all. Because of the AI of the alien, I thought at first that the story shouldn’t matter too much, and that I’m sure I’ll have fun just repeating those 7 levels again, but no. There is no level select so I can either play the final mission over and over again, or start a new game from scratch. Also, I really can’t be bothered going through all the un-skippable dialogue of the characters again when all I want is a quick 5 minute game. So it’s pretty much game over man, unless they add an arcade mode, with just me, 4 characters, the level of my choosing and an angry alien, then I would come back to it. Maybe even a level creater mode? Have the community make some levels and keep the game alive!.Version: 1.0.2
✓ Good just needs some improvementA very five nights at freddys feel when it comes to gameplay. My biggest complaint is that it starts you off right away with no explanation of the controls and very little help. There is a little option in the menu to show you some of it but I think a introduction to the controls was very much needed in the beginning. it’s an unforgiving game if you make a mistake, so clear laid out controls should have been apart of the opening. The story is good and voice acting and such, I think it has great potential. I will give it a try again maybe after looking up a how to play video hopefully I can find one..Version: 2.0.0

✓ Not workingI purchased and downloaded the game expecting an experience similar to Alien Isolation, but instead what greets me is an inability to proceed past the title screen and onto the main game itself. I am able to listen to Amanda Ripley's distress call, and then the loading screen starts. Then it just stops loading and the music is still heard. It does nothing from there. Is my device not capable of playing this game? I have an iPad 4th generation running iOS 10. I would really love to play this game, but I fear I have wasted 7 dollars for an app that won't work. Please fix whatever bug this is and I'll give a better rating in the future..Version: 1.0.1
✓ 2D map controlling dots gameWow, I was so excited to play this but I’m glad I only wasted 79p on it. The game consists of you instructing dots where to go by drawing a line through with your finger. There is no skill involved, just luck, the alien could randomly appear if it wants to but you’ll never know. Could have been awesome but it’s actually a disgrace..Version: 2.0.0
✓ Could perform betterI have an old phone so i cant run the game. (even with the enhanced performance setting on) My game crashes whenever i get past the distress call so a performance update would be greatly appreciated as it seems like an excellent game that is certainly worth 6 dollars, i just wish i could play it..Version: 1.0.4

✓ Crashes all the time!Would be a good game but it crashes all the time. Can’t win.👎👎👎 Update. First I played it on my iPad where it crashed many times. Then I tried to play it on my iPod touch which was impossible. The buttons are tiny, have to zoom in on the map to give direction to the crew. You have to click on the cameras quick to keep an eye on the xenomorph. I don’t find it enjoyable. It was much better on the iPad as I could click easily on the buttons and on the crew. And didn’t need to zoom in on the map, could keep an I on the xenomorph but when I was ready to win the game it crashed. Given up..Version: 2.0.0
✓ All too shortAlthough the game had a pretty good concept, that doesn’t compensate for the lack of gameplay. It felt all too short. I was able to complete the 7 lousy levels in a little over an hour. After the game ends, it just feels like it ends so abruptly and you’re left unsatisfied. I had such high hopes for this game and was expecting to be worth the 5 dollars that it costs. Also, the alien is broken in this game. Somehow you can sneak all you want but the alien somehow has super sense and knows exactly where you are so that made the last 2 levels extremely frustrating. The graphics are also not the best by a long shot. There is a “optimal gameplay” setting where if you turn on, the gameplay should be noticeably better. All it does is make Ripley’s head movement a little smoother and somehow makes the graphics look worse than before. Save your money, don’t buy this game..Version: 1.0.3
✓ Money misspent by both me and devs.The cameras are pretty useless, so as another reviewer noted, you spend most of your time just looking at dots; not much fun for your money then, really. Ironic too, as a lot of time and effort (therefore money) has obviously gone into the graphics that you’ll hardly ever look at. So it looks like we both misspent our money..Version: 1.0.2

✓ You’re basically paying for the licenseIt’s a shame that this is the continuation of Amanda’s story after Alien Isolation. £5 for 7 levels with no replayability is really steep, with no real challenge to each level. Once you rush through once to see all the locations your characters need to visit, you can basically restart and then send them all to the final location, hide and just move the one/two max that you need to their action locations. This type of strategy game is crying out for some random generated levels or community created ones just to make you come back. Save your money for when this is on sale for £2 or less..Version: 1.0.3

✓ Good, but not long enough for priceThe gameplay and visuals are great and I had a good time playing the only disappointment was paying that amount of money for something that took me less than 1.5hrs to complete and the alien didn’t seem random enough, I feel, each play through of a level. ✓ Boring and too hardBoring game simply because all you do is check cameras and motion detectors and tell other when to walk or hide.. one always dies when trying to lead two.. and the how to’s aren’t given so in the beginning you don’t know which buttons to push and what works what. They have a small how to but it doesn’t involve what you need to play the next level. Then you have to check your own space so you don’t die which there is no camera and no motion detector for. Meh.. the game is just meh to me because it doesn’t involve my own running and hiding. The video game on PS4 was AWESOME! ✓ Good conceptI know some apps steal information without telling you, but this game telling you it will take data and for you to accept this to play? Then you can contact us and ask us to delete it seems silly. Would rather you just take it without warning me like everyone else. The game though, like some others say 50% luck, alien is totally random, using doors to try to trick never works, timer makes hiding rough, no save option so when you die you have to listen to all dialogue again and again, sneak function didn’t seem to do anything honestly. I did better by just running everywhere. Lastly some maps have too many blind spots, come out of hiding and dead! But I guess that adds to the terror of the game..Version: 1.0.3

✓ "ISSUES WITH THE GAME"Like anybody, I would like to play the games that I have brought, brought to enjoy and at least, interact with. Either I am one of the least lucky ones, or something isn't quite right with the app towards my phone individually! I have downloaded the app three times, and it doesn't want to get past the first scene. I get past the first few sentences of, what I can only presume is the main character-Amanda Ripley, and that is it! It tries to load, and nothing! Absolutely nothing. I gave it a few chances, three times, checked if it was my phone, and nothing was out of place....it just doesn't work. I had spent roughly £5.00, and I have not been able to get my money's worth! It's a shame because I was looking forward to enjoy it, but I can't, until the developers sort this out! I hope it will be soon, but in reality, things do take time. Regarding to the game itself, I don't know, I only know about the issue I am describing, I know nothing about the gameplay or its wellbeing. ✓ MediocreI'm a huge Alien fan first off. Not going to lie, I'm pretty disappointed with this game. Firstly the voice acting from every character with the exception of Amanda Ripley is horrible. Amanda is the only character that has desperation and emotion in her voice acting. Character models are stiff and animations aren't very well done, including the Alien. I understand that its a mobile game but still, its 2019 and higher end devices like the iPad Pro and iPhone XS can do way better than this. I know this takes inspiration from Five Nights at Freddys but I was never a fan nor played it much. I feel like there aren't enough cameras and I'm not a fan of some of the camera angles. Maybe its just me but I just wasn't too crazy about this one. Blackout is meh for me at best and I hope we get a follow up to the fantastic Alien Isolation on mobile or consoles/PC one day 🙏..Version: 1.0.3

✓ Interesting, but not scaryI would love to give this a 4 star or possibly even a five star, but the game doesn’t have great FPS ( looks like 15 frames per second). My main point is that is isn’t terrifying ! The alien movies and games are shockingly scary/suspenseful all round, or at least on your first viewing. But playing alien blackout for the first time didn’t get me suspended for nervous for the most of it. all and at some moments it was kinda dull. ✓ DissapointingDownloaded this in hope it would help pass some time. The opening level was cool, but then it gets stale all too fast and it’s not the best to operate from a mobile device. ✓ Too DifficultIt’s far too difficult to know where the alien is. I often end up in situations where there are no cameras in a room and by the time a survivor senses the alien it’s too late. And not to mention the survivor AI is on a set path so you can’t guide them past the alien yourself..Version: 1.0.3

✓ Extra Content?I liked this Game it had good voice actors. It was the sequel to Alien Isolation also I liked the fact that u could control the station and all the doors closing them and opening them. Reminds me of Alien Covenant were David acting as Walter at the time was closing the doors behind the 2 crew members of the ship. But I do hate one thing of this game there’s just a story there’s no survival mode which should be in the game because I love what u can do but just a Story? That makes the game boring and kinda a waste at the end of the story there’s nothing else to do except replay the story which is why i want there to be a survival mode with new maps not the same please make that happen 👍.Version: 1.0.3
✓ Alien Blackout is a great game, but it has some flawsAlien Blackout is a fantastic game but it’s too dang short. The gameplay is fun. It always keeps you on your tows. The game looks great too. But theirs not that much. Here’s some things that would help to improve your game. First, add more levels or an endless mode. Second, in that endless mode make it so where you can change the setting of the game so like alien ai or add more bots. I’ve also completed the game one time with one survivor and with all four. Well, that’s all I can think of right now so well I hope this helped you and such. Update 1: is this game still getting updates? Update 2: I really hope this game get’s more updates, like a sandbox mode, where you can build your own level with the rooms that are already in the game. More levels would be nice, but the sandbox mode would be good for that..Version: 2.0.0
