✓ Not a problemNot sure why others have had problems. App works fine, doesn’t really need all the bells and whistles. It’s straightforward and it functions as it should. Not the apps fault of stylists are done faster or may take longer. That’s the human element that really can’t be de-bugged. It would take away from customer service just to have a stylist update while they are with a customer. They can’t constantly run to the computer every 2 seconds to update their time. So what would you have a time frame within 5-10mins or good service. I choose the latter. I guess a picture of the stylist would be great so you always know who you have, that did confuse me once when I thought I had my normal stylist which I didn’t have under my favorite yet. Other than that it’s great. Bug adjustments as normal and updates are always coming out so thank you..Version: 1.28
✓ Getting my hair cutI got checked in at a early time and it actually went through. I called and talked to someone about what just happened and it worked. I was the last person to sign in and get my hair cut perfectly by Shannon. She is awesome for the work she does. It is always cut and washed so nothing is wrong with my hair. Do I wanted to just compliment Shannon and getting my hair cut. I will always go their yo get it cut. An amazing crew their and they listen to what you have to say..Version: 1.32.0
✓ Pretty accessible to the blind user.This app was completely inaccessible to my phone as a blind user when it first came out. Now it is pretty good. The only confusing part I had was selecting my stylist from the list. I would recommend making the name of the stylist into a button that says, "select stylist Jane," or something like that. As it was, I had to tap on the estimated Wait Time part of the stylist's info to get the right one. But other than that, I'm pretty impressed. There are a few bits of annoyance that are more specific but I will leave them for a developer review should the company be so inspired to request my assistance since I'm an accessibility consultant..Version: 1.31.2
✓ It’s pretty decent tbhI love sports clips a lot it’s one of my favorite barbers. The app just sometimes tells you that there’s no wait or tells you that there’s a long wait and then you go into the store and it may not be accurate but it’s still great because then I can check and see how long the wait time if the day is all booked up and I don’t have to specifically call the number which takes a little bit more effort. Also, I like being able to check in without even entering the store yet and not to mention seeing if my specific favorite barber is even working that day he tells you everybody that’s gonna be on shift.Version: 1.35.0
✓ ImpressedI am very impressed with the application and staff. First the application, which has allowed me to seamlessly check in and gain a spot in line for me and my sons, whenever we are in need of a haircut. The wait times are fairly accurate and if not, the staff is always accommodating to make sure that we are given a haircut in a fair manner and reasonable amount of time. As for the staff can’t say enough about how kind and helpful they are. Not only are they good at haircuts but regardless of turnover, they always seem to be on top of customer service..Version: 1.35.0
✓ Sevierville, Tennessee LocationJust wanted to give Rob at the Sevierville, Tennessee location a shout out. I’ve always been treated great by the stylists at this location, but the last few times I’ve had Rob as my barber. And he is absolutely great, very knowledgeable, and is very easy going and easy to relate with. Got my hair cut today, and it is easily the best cut I’ve ever had. So, I hope Rob sees this, and I hope the manager sees what a great asset Rob is to the store, the community, and to the customers. Rock on, Rob ✌️.Version: 1.36.0
✓ Needs some work but very handy.Would like my place in line to hold longer. I drive about a half hour to my location and I like to check in before I leave. If my name gets called before I get there it totally kicks me out of line. This all leads me to check in when Im closer to the store while I’m driving. NOT SAFE! My suggestion is to let someone who is not there roll to the next in line a couple times before they are kicked out..Version: 1.35.0
✓ Got to go to far!Great app and fantastic place to get my hair cut. Even though I’m not a big sports fan, it would be nice to listen to something other than basketball and football. Anyway a NASCAR event or commentators discussing the sport could be shown. Boat racing? Anything other than 3 to 5 guys strategizing either football or basketball. Also maybe I don’t understand the app but you have to get pretty far into the app to find if your stylist is on. Occasionally results in a false appt. ✓ Makes a great experience - phenomenal!Love the app! I’ve never had anything but an amazing experience at Sport Clips. The app is quick, easy, (and accurate) even for those of use who are “technically challenged”!! Laney is my stylist - She is by far my favorite, I like that the app saves her as my favorite, I instantly know if she’s working, and how quickly she can get me in. ✓ Light years aheadMy normal stylists left the lil shop I used to go to. I tracked her down and she was working at SportClips. Long time ago I would get haircuts at the walk in type shops and was never very impressed. Things have changed in a huge way. I can open an app to see if my favorite stylist is working and see what her wait time is. I can sign in (get on her list) and I get text messages or check the app to see when she’s ready. The shop is well appointed and staff is friendly. I highly recommend people check their local SportClips out..Version: 1.32.0
✓ Great AppChecking in is easy. Great way to skip the line for a business that does not make appointment. One thing that could make it better is multiple stages of check ins. 1. Check in to make an appoint (already does this) 2. Check in upon arrival and consumers can wait in their car. 3. Hair stylist they update on the store’s end when they are ready, which sends a notification to the consumer to come in. ✓ Best hair cut I’ve ever gottenIt’s a huge statement saying the best hair cut I’ve ever gotten, especially being I’m 65 years old and the number of times I’ve gotten my hair cut. I went to the Sports Clips in Mansfield on Hwy-287 and my stylist was Pink. She took her time and did a scissor cut without rushing through the cut. I went in a couple weeks late with shaggy hair and came out with a perfect cut. I’ve never written a review before and this tells you just how happy I am with the outcome. ✓ Lifesaver!Love this app! For my son, who is on the autism spectrum, waiting is horrible... not a walk in the park for those waiting with him either! With this app, I can set up his appointment with his preferred stylist... we can choose the day based on who is available. The guessing game is gone! Now with the new systems in place for Covid-19, it is even more helpful. We were there this morning and he did very well with the kind support they showed him. ✓ Good but could be great.The check in function and estimated wait time is a great feature that makes getting a hair cut more convenient for me. However, adding the ability to schedule appoints on a future date, or even at a specific time on the same day would be great. If there’s a 180 minute wait now for my stylist of choice, I’d like the option to schedule an appointment later so that I can still get my hair cut by my stylist. ✓ Kathy at Fairless Hills sports cutsI want to let her Manager know that Kathy gave me one of my best haircut 💇♂️! She was so nice and figure it out what type of haircut I really need. i’m so busy at work and other things that I haven’t had time to get one, so I finally did and I lost about 20 pounds of hair lol. all of the other girls that work there also have great customer service they acknowledge any customer come through the front door and being a supervisor it’s very rare that you say good customer service thank you so much.Version: 1.33.0
✓ Always a Great Haircut!From one paying customer to another….it’s worth paying more to come here! Even then the prices are not as bad as other places. No matter where you find yourself, you can honestly trust Sports Clips to ALWAYS give you a fresh, clean cut!!! ✓ Stylist at Sport Clips MyselfAs a stylist who works for Sport Clips myself, the idea of the app is helpful, it’s not 100% quite yet but it does work and it is helpful. Sometimes it will give you wrong wait times (not by much) or sometimes it won’t let you check in, but feel free to give us your feedback and we can let our owners know! I love how it especially gives you wait times for specific stylists but it won’t let you choose that stylist if they have over a two hour wait time (which is fair because our stylists need time to breathe!) also, if your stylist does not get their until a later time it will NOT let you check in with them until they clock in, your best bet is to walk in about 15 min before that time they are scheduled and say you want that specific stylist and the stylist should assist you and you should be in no time :) Has a few kinks, but don’t worry..Version: 1.20
✓ Good for Scheduling; Needs Minor ImprovementsThis app does well to help you schedule your haircut at any of their locations. I like the map with Wait Times feature and which stylist is a available. It’s easy to navigate. It does have room for improvement. Would be beneficial if customers could schedule future appointments for a week out and select their preferred stylist. Punch cards is old school. How about the system tracking the number of appointments you’ve checked-in for and also having an in-app tracking on the account level? It would reduce the amount of times I forget to carry their punch card each time..Version: 1.35.0
✓ Notifications PleaseApp works great. No issues to speak of. I wish I could give it 5 stars but there is a feature that needs to be added - notifications. My challenge is that I don’t know when my favorite stylists are working. I have to keep checking on the app to see if their profile shows them working that day. It would be great if you can notify me when one of my favorites is available. It will save me time and frequent the store more often. Update that feature and I will give you 5 stars..Version: 1.36.0
✓ Not terrible..I think the app is great. It definitely has some issues with the wait time and sometimes it doesn’t let me check in (kind of freezes) but other than that, it works well. I personally think it would be cool to be able to pay on the app by the touch of a button with a card that’s already linked and then should pop up on the screen immediately so the stylist can see it’s been paid. Sometimes people leave their wallets at home or that card they wanted to use or what not. That would be convenient. Just a thought...Version: 1.30
✓ Great Cut! Good App.Love using this app for getting haircuts. It’s easy to see how busy a location is and to schedule ahead so I know how long it will be and to schedule accordingly. Personally I prefer Sports Clips over their competitors in my town mainly for the ease of scheduling and they have a couple great stylist. The only complaint of the app is the messaging system when you arrive is not super efficient. I would recommend having a button for when you arrive and the car type, and then for a confirmation text to come in..Version: 1.31.10
✓ My experienceThis is only my third or fourth tyme coming here in a row but it’s a guarantee not to be my last. I just got done working a 60+ hour work week; I’m tyred; beat; drained; all the above aggravated and just want to go home and question lyfe in general. However I need a haircut. Well I come to Sport Clips; the Cartersville location just to find out my stylist Kay; who is INSANELY great; personable and professional...is on vacation. How dare she rite?!?! Lol. So to the parking lot I go feeling defeated and broken just to turn around and go back in WITH my girlfriend who rather strongly convinced me due to the fact of her being tyred of my constant bitterness over my unruly homeless man-esq mop. So I flipped a coin and picked Autumn to tame the slowly turning gray mane that lies upon my giant melon of a gourde I call a head. Look; I don’t know the hiring process for this house of hair but I think they must have to be dipped in gold!!! She did an amazing job! I’m a child of the 80s so I am absolutely particular about my hair. I grew up on Guns N’ Roses; don’t judge me. Due to Autumns’ professionalism and just all around awesomeness; I’m no longer apprehensive when Kay abandons me. Everyone that works here deserves a raise and cake. ✓ GRANGER, INDIANAThis app is nice it makes getting your haircut so much easier no more feeling like you have to be a zombie sitting watching everything I can log in check in and boom I’m done, I can even ask for my favorite stylist lol only thing I wish this had was a way to either ADD a picture of how you want your haircut ahead of time OR you can have a description of how your last haircut was in case you want the same thing. Easy to use and in real time.I’ve been coming to here only on the occasions when my Personal freind who owns her own Salon aka Babershop isn’t available and I need to get it cut or I’ll freak out type situations. But , now that I’ve been coming here to get my haircut ( and I’m Very picky about my haircut ESPECIALLY THE FADE PART ) the last 4 times since this covid thing started and Have had Amber and Terry aka ‘TT’ cut my hair as well as two other stylists which I can’t remember their names off the top of my head. ✓ SportsClipsThis is a great app especially when you find the hair stylists you get in sync with its hard but looking forward to replacing my 25 year running stylists that has retired. With this app you were able to see how many minutes or hours it will be until your stylist is available and you can book that timeslot. Understand the time slot is not an appointment so you may have to wait a bit of time. She’s finishing up her current client. You don’t see these girls sitting around or pushing a broom. I use the app each time I go and it’s always been accurate and very user friendly. Sabrina. is definitely my go to stylist. She’s absolutely phenomenal and I would highly recommend anyone to use her. ✓ Decent App but could still use some tweaking!Decent app. It can be a bit quirky at times. In a couple instances I’ve had it not let me check in and once it did check me in and didn’t confirm it. I found out 15 minutes later when I went back into the app and tried to check in again. It wouldn’t let me and I realized I was actually already checked in from the first attempt. I appreciate that it allows me to choose the stylist I want. However I would really like to be able to find out which stylists Cut my hair in previous appointments (when I chose “first available”). That way, if I really liked a stylist from a previous appointment but didn’t get their name, I could go back and see who it was and request them for future appointments. Otherwise, the app is helpful and does allow for a relatively easy check in and less wait time in the salon..Version: 1.28
✓ You need this app!💇🏽♂️I personally have never had a problem with this app. It makes it easy fit a haircut into your schedule especially if you have a ⭐️Favorite Stylist. It gives you a estimated time of availability so you just check in online and it gives you a time to be there. They even have a option to give you updates if time changes or when you’re up next.
