✗ Accent ruins itHallow has the potential to be incredible but what has put me off completely is that the gospels are read in an accent. There’s no purpose for this as the accent is not authentic and doesn’t make sense - Jesus nor the authors would’ve been speaking English so having an accent doesn’t help the experience. I would much rather just hear someone speak it rather than trying to put on something that isn’t true and sounds uncomfortable.
