✓ Terrible connectionWe just upgraded to the panoramic WiFi gigablast. Service is constantly crashing and must restart multiple times daily. They obviously don’t have the ability to serve all their customers and just continue to sell you more expensive packages and equipment. Hopefully the time will come when real competition arrives and they’ll be forced fix the problems. Most of the reviews on here are negative so the problems are systemic and need to be addressed..Lp of azVersion: 3.27.0

✓ Does the trickAs a person who streams everything, and has things hooked up that requires internet connection to operate (I.E security cameras) the long, dull nights of sitting in quiet darkness are over. I no longer have to un plug my router to eliminate my kids from internet access so they will go to bed. This app gives me the ability to restrict specific devises at specific times, or I can pause internet access to those devises at a moments notice, even when I’m not at home. Oh, it was a point of contention at first. The tears, the “I JUST WANT 30 MORE MINS”. The stomping around were very real. But PARENTS, lemme tell you. Just get through that initial time of a poor attempt of a power struggle from your little darlings. They will soon learn that you mean what you say, and comply to their new reality- while you still enjoy your favorite Netflix shows and effortlessly scroll through social media. So sit back, relax, pause that internet with a simple click and have the peace of mind that you are now the absolute law on internet usage in your home..AngMarie2911Version: 3.37.0

✓ Frustrated customerI’ve had Cox for a couple years now. The cable tv is good but not great. I have screen freezes and other issues periodically. The phone service is great. The WiFi has always been sporadic. Originally I had the 300mbps package. At first I got great speeds and then it was all over the place, up and down. Recently Cox talked me into a new modem/router combo with the “Gigablast” speeds up to 960mbps. So far that’s been a no show. I had better speeds with the older router/modem. ✓ Frustrating!Lately it has been very poor connection! It keep buffering my internet service specially when I’m watching tv and when I’m on my device to watch video clips… it’s hard to recommend a service when the service can’t provide or deliver the to the consumer this is frustrating! many outages our area and connections are not clear, keeps freezing! ✓ Port forwardingWhen I got through View WiFi equipment > advanced settings, and try to click port forwarding, it does nothing. I want my router to allow a specific port for online gaming, which it usually blocks, but I can’t do it with this issue. There is only one other fix for my gaming issue, but it is hard to figure out and time consuming so I would much prefer this. If you can fix this it would be great, but in the meantime I’ll try to use the other solution..JadznSVersion: 5.14.0

✓ No complaintsThe app works as advertised! I'm surprised most of the reviews are in relation to Cox service in general instead of the app as they should be. That being said I was a long time Comcast customer which I was very happy with before moving to an area served by Cox. I've been very satisfied with my top tier internet service and equipment in general and very seldom have any service interruptions. My experience may be due to much better infrastructure here in Connecticut. Regardless I felt the need to write this review just to say there are a few of us satisfied customers. ✓ Sign for 500 GB speed get 195 GB and 6.5 upload speedIn Bonita Internet is really slow they keep working on it and it keeps going off and on all day long so try to do work you lose it all. It’s sad that cricket wireless is faster than Cox cable it’s only has 60 GB speed and 25 upload speed But you never lose the connection phone is quicker than Cox cable. The problem is Cox cable let’s users connect to your Internet and they can’t control who they are so they slow you down trying to figure out who you are.
