✓ Simply AmazingThis app is simply amazing. It allows me to do so much yet somehow remains simple. From writing my scripts with AI, to being able to choose my speed, font size, microphone options and more. I am so glad I have it. I record long form content for social media where there is a lot of information shared. This saves me from wasting time having to memorize. The UI is so sleek and clean too. ✓ Real world useI’ve used Teleprompter now for three years. Works very well for self filming videos as well as studio shot videos. I’ve used to make quick short videos to clients as well as for public webinars. An important feature is reverse mirroring which allows it to work with a studio camera and the text scrolling right there while looking directly into the camera. I added a remote start/stop clicker so while doing webinars I can stop the scrolling text, make impromptu comments or answer questions, yet keep my script on track. Works very well..Version: 4.0.3
✓ Unable to use own headset and being charged twiceThe format has been changed which does not allow me to record using my own headset anymore. For this reason, I will also be canceling my service. Also I’ve been charged twice for the same service. I paid months ago for the service which I installed on my iPad, but then I had to pay again when I tried to add the app to my iPhone. When I canceled the service on my phone, it also cancelled the service I paid for months ago on my iPad. Being charged twice for the same service is ridiculous, especially if now I’m not able to properly record my messages because I can’t use my headphone to record..Version: 5.8
✓ So much better with Teleprompter!I needed to submit a video for medical school applications and it was difficult at the beginning. I tried to memorize a script and it made even more nervous so it didn’t work out. I tried to place the camera in front of my and read off of my laptop but I couldn’t hold eye contact with the audience. ✓ Love it for zoom presentationsUsing Teleprompter helps with my zoom presentations SO much. I’m not a fan of public speaking, so I have the common issues of anxiety, talking too fast, forgetting something important, and not knowing where to look (a problem especially common on zoom). Teleprompter pretty much tackles all of that. It helps pace my talking speed, my script is right there so I won’t forget anything, and it gives me a focal point during the presentation. Best interface I’ve seen for this from a free app (w/watermark). Stable and flexible. My biggest suggestion! Please include some sort of number or indication for speed other than the very small drag-bar that is in there now. The bar is very small and dragging the circle a tiny bit has a big impact, and I want to know what speed to use so I can set it precisely and not have to fiddle around with it every time. ✓ Mirror Option is FANTASTICIf you’re using a mini-teleprompter like I am (Neewer X1) and are using your phone for text, you’re gonna need the mirror option. This is the only app I found that has it. Unlike BIGVU (which I used before), you won’t get lags or glitches, which needless to say will save you a lot of time and effort. The only con I can see with this app is the price, but I guess it is what it is. I still recommend it if you’re serious about your content..Version: 3.5.9

✓ It’s ok but YOU CAN’T FORMAT a scriptI wanted to try the trial and see what was possible, but the most frustrating part of this app is the inability to center a script. Everything lines up on the left-hand side. When I’m using my iPad and touch one spot to highlight it, the script jumps to different areas. I wish I would’ve remembered to cancel the free trial so I wouldn’t have been charged $90. In my case, it turned out, I will not read from a prompter, otherwise I would get the subscription. ✓ Great app for course filmingAfter trying several different teleprompter apps for filming courses with our clients, this one does the trick. With long scripts, and hours worth of filming, it made our lives easier and not more difficulty. Our only complain is to have numbers on the font slider just like you do on the speed slider- without that, it’s hard to consistently replicate for each video, and you’re often guessing and tweaking between each script.
