✓ Was force to upgrade to premiumWas able to change the weather provider. Now have to upgrade to premium subscription to do the same functionality. Bad practice, disappointed! ✓ FamiliarThis new app looks EXACTLY like the one I deleted a couple weeks ago. That one was also high priced but free for a limited time. Very easy to read, and accurate. Very nice, for the first few days, then the ads began. The app could not be opened, the weather checked, or screens changed without closing the ads multiple times. Impossible to use. ✓ TrackingThis app recently added a load of trackers to a paid for app, without giving a choice to the user. Their privacy policy states they will sell your data to the highest bidder (or “partners” as they’re known in the business) That’s a violation of GDPR and could earn the app’s authors some serious fines. ✓ Wrong locationIf this app would get my location correct, I might like it. While it found me on the map, it is saying I’m in a completely different town which, from above, looks to be only a few miles away, but that town is about 1,000 ft higher in elevation than my town and has very different temperatures. ✓ WhyIt amazes me that someone would put the effort into such an app then add the feels like temp. The nonsense behind feels like has no bounds. The temperature is what the temperature is it can never feel colder or warmer then the actual..temperature!! Even at 100 mph at -20 below it’s still -20. It may wick your body heat away quicker but that’s it. This needs to stop people actually are thinking the feels like temperature is the temperature.
