✓ Very Poor App For such a reliable courierI have a DHL export account and The App no longer syncs with my active shipments that have been booked in and in transit. Keeps showing me ones from the past and I can’t see my current shipments. Have to use the laptop for that instead. It also keeps trying to tell me new Waybill or Tracking Numbers are invalid. ✓ Fails most basic app sign up functionsSigning up for account on app, asks phone number with prefix for UK +44 but says that my mobile phone number is invalid regardless of format. ✓ Buggy and annoying.I just need to check status given a tracking number and this app is requiring tons of information from me and force me to sign up before using it. The process of signing up is really buggy. It always says no networking while there is. The keyboard overlapped the input boxes. The enable touch ID switch does nothing but freezes the app for a second. Besides, the search button should be an actual button that tells the user you can press the button and do something, not a magnifier in the input box. ✓ Unsafe delivery (zero star)Oh wow, what a fantastic service! It's like playing Russian roulette with your packages. Will the driver actually deliver it to your doorstep and follow the instructions, or will they just chuck it willy-nilly wherever they please? And don't worry if they completely disregard the delivery instructions and your package goes missing, because they'll just blame you for not securing the delivery location properly. This is the slowest loading and running shipping app. I have USPS, FedEx, and UPS apps as well and they are really fast and responsive. The DHL app...it’s probably just as fast to open a browser on your phone, log in, and copy/paste your DHL tracking number from your email by the time you actually get the app to take you to any screen providing useful information..Version: 1.2.1
✓ F needs more workNeed a copy and paste so that means you have to manually write down the tracking number then manually enter it in every other app from the US Postal Service to UPS to FedEx allows you to copy and paste so if you have your receipt email or got it in a text or anything like that you can just copy and put it over to track the package this app does not allow you to do that so therefore I deleted it because why would I want something to create extra work.Version: 3.6.1
✓ Painful to use.In the UK, ParcelMonkey is the go-to website for quick and easy shipping options. This app does not let me scan the PM barcodes to track outgoing shipments, nor does it recognise the 14-digit PM shipment numbers, so I can’t track the parcels I send without going through the DHL website. Signing up is a chore: every time - EVERY time - I click a text field to enter data there is a minimum 5-second pause before the keyboard is displayed. You can tap several times, it makes no difference. A disappointing app. Get it to handle ParcelMonkey barcodes and I could overlook the rest. As it stands though, this is useless..Version: 3.5.1

However, what we’re looking for is one-stop shop where all your divisions’ tracking numbers can be entered and tracked. Does DHL have plans to update or develop such an app? ✓ Worst parcel companyWhy would anyone use DHL? They’re the worst delivery company in existence. I submitted a delivery change and it still got delivered to the original address over an hour away from the new address. They blamed USPS & wouldn’t take responsibility. Way to go. ✓ DHL Snail Mail, not ExpressJust paid thousands to have 3 items shipped from the US to New Zealand. Items arrived in NZ after about 5 days which I thought was quite reasonable but after that it all went south, DHL NZ Express do not deserve the Express title. Items sat in Auckland NZ for over a month and if I wasn’t ringing them every few days to push them along god know how long they would have sat there. Over 6 weeks to get my items delivered. Totally unacceptable service for the price paid. Any requests or emails from DHL were answered in 3-4 hours. Often the only way I found out what the next step was, was by ringing customer service after seeing no action for a few days, I will definitely not be recommending or using DHL again..Version: 4.4.0

The Jinx Catherine rescheduled my delivery for Wednesday because she was 100% Absolutely sure that my parcel will not be delivered on Tuesday. Yet the driver was scanning my parcel for delivery on Tuesday. The DHL App says the parcel is with driver for delivery today. Then I phoned DHL Brisbane customer service and was told by Jesse that it was re-scheduled by Catherine for delivery on Wednesday! ✓ Dishonest and inefficient companyDHL, the respected global shipper that is trusted by millions in the world unfortunately is not the same in the United States. One of the lowest rated shipping companies, DHL stands out with inefficiency and covering this problem with dishonesty. Check Better Business Bureau or other ratings before you consider dealing with DHL in the United States. I hope this otherwise great company will try to do something in the future to raise the quality of their services in the USA to the same level, they’re operating worldwide. ✓ Australian ReviewerThis appointment does not connect with the online version. You can place your tracking numbers in, such as RayBan from China, and it simply tracks it. If you miss your delivery and scan your drivers card QR code, this app opens up and does not gel with the online version. I have all my deliveries set to be taken to the depot on my online account, however, they are still being delivered to my home. We are never home and the driver holds the package and attempts delivery day after day when I could have picked it up first instance from the depot. It does not offer your local Australian depo and when if you manage to find it online, you will drive yourself nuts trying to find a telephone number. The number you will find is a national number and the answered English is very difficult to understand. It may get you through to a contracted call centre in China or the Phillipines..Version: 1.8.1

It makes it stupid-difficult to get a/d details into the preset field descriptors that insisted to me that my town was, in the DHL universe "invalid".... And it took multiple tries to get past the minefield that is a masterpiece of barrier-design calculated to keep the less-aware from completing the process. I'm an old hand with this stuff, but this crazy-stupid form had me ready to toss the ipad across the room... (no, I didn't - I'm not quite that far gone despite my years) And once actually complete, it tells me there's no parcel on its way to me... when I know that there is. If you want to see another carrier's app that is super easy to install and register with, try that other company whose 3 letter name also begins with D.... the second is P. It is everything that this one - absolutely isn't. After I thought all was actually correct, I checked the map position. The detail there showed a building number about 30 premises away from mine! I had to manually edit that as well. This app is not fit for purpose. It needs binned and another created by someone who has actually written onesuch before! Details: Cut and paste is not supported. You can’t copy a waybill number from the top of the tracking details page. Selecting text is disabled in that view. In the “in transit” details subview on the “to me” view, if you try to select the waybill number it takes you to tracking details. Even though there is a link highlighted on the right. Really it should allow the waybill to be selected to allow a text cut operation. It should change view only if the link is selected via a touch event. You can’t paste anything in the chat “how may we help you” text box (so if you want to supply a waybill number accurately you’ll need to flip between this app and somewhere else, or write it down and attempt to enter it accurately which is hard to do on a small keyboard) If you have a problem with customs clearance (and since DHL ships a lot from Europe, I this is likely) this app is horrible..Version: 2.0.0

✓ Tracking updates are confusingHad to check my parcel tracking today, it showed that it was shipped from the sender, arrived in the destination country yesterday, then showed it was being handled in another country today… I had to start a chat with DHL to find out why it was being sent away from the destination country it had arrived in, to find out that the updates do get muddled when pre-arrival delivery acceptance is cleared for a parcel. ✓ App refuses to load with password manager.As others have said, I have FedEx, UPS, USPS, etc and I also use the LastPass app to auto fill my passwords. The DHL iOS app will not load after I enter my password and then press login. Delete and reinstall with the latest update does not help the situation. From the text message, long press the tracking number and I get a new window and a quick response from the DHL website directly. Suggestion for iOS dev, rebuild from scratch. Your existing baseline is critically flawed and a waste of time and memory space. I need to track my products from China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and other Far East locations. And yes I only use DHL International Services. But this iOS app is for the dogs. It just doesn’t work. I have used all of the known courier company’s for my business throughout my career. I ordered a time sensitive car part from Germany for my customer My package which was supposed to arrive by end of day Aug 11 was not delivered When I called DHL the excuse they gave me was that it wasn’t released from customs I was told ” there was something they didn’t like about the package so they held it till Monday. Even though following the tracking that DHL provides it showed it was released from customs early Friday morning. This was obviously a delivery drive issue The following Monday I called looking for my package and was told by a supervisor that there going to try and make a priority delivery instead by the end of day around as per my delivery confirmation at 12:30 I received a message with a picture informing me that my package was delivered with a picture of a doorstep that was not my house? I called DHL spoke with at least 2 customer reps and 2 supervisors which assured me I would receive my package as soon as the driver went to retrieve the package from the wrong house? That was Monday, there was no call or update Tuesday morning no still no update?
