✓ Good app but a few questionsI started to use this app today and used it on one page however I did another one and it didn’t let me saying I needed to buy premium which I find unfair to why this is because I can’t afford premium.Version: 4.1.0
✓ False advertisementI saw this app on tik tok and decided to try it out. It says it’s free and you don’t need to purchase the premium to use the app. But when I wen in the app and took a picture of my page. It didn’t even read what was on the page and gave me 5 seconds of nonsense to here. If the app was free and actually read what was on the page it would be 10/10.Version: 5.4.1
✓ DisappointedI was so excited when I saw this app. I’m losing my vision but I love to read. This seemed like the perfect option. I tried at least a dozen different locations for adding a book, different websites, reading apps, files, documents, and none of it would play. Some of the options would save to Peech, some didn’t. But even the ones I was initially able to save to the app still weren’t able to play and it kept telling me to remove the file. I’m not sure what I’m suppose to read if I can’t access anything with the app..Version: 3.14.2
✓ Too expensive!I really don’t understand the audacity with which companies like this think they can charge customers £30/month just to be able to read out pdf’s. The explorer offers the same option only it’s FREE to ‘read aloud’ anything. As a comparison a Company Gmail Account costs about £9/month and it comes with real functionality (emails, g-drive, handouts,…) Even Microsoft’s O365 which is at £9/month per subscription offers a plethora of services fir this money! But for sine reason the Analyst in this company seem to believe customers will pay tripple the amount you would pay for such excellent services like gmail or Microsoft just to read out pdfs? Considering it’s free option on the explorer?? Only explanation to this anti social behaviour is GREED! I absolutely see no reason paying anything more than £3/month for any app that is not a full fledged software solution..Version: 4.3.2

✓ Not greatI take clear pictures of my book with good lighting, but the app still doesn’t read the pages right. It skips sentences/words, or it doesn’t even say the right words: sometimes it’ll even put random words where they aren’t supposed to be. I made sure the pictures weren’t blurry and that you could clearly see the words. I’m not sure why I’m having this issue..Version: 4.6.1
✓ It might be ok but it’s pay lockedWhy bother with ‘free download’ if you can’t even get a decent trial without paying a subscription. Such deceptive practices put me off a company altogether. It’s lucky to get 2 stars from me for that reason. ✓ Why??Your app was great, why did you have to change it? Why change the voice? Perhaps is me but I can’t figure out how to change back to the voice I had. Also why add having two different voices read the articles and then having each voice read half a sentence and switch to another voice in the middle of the paragraph, why?. And that background music that you added, what in the world were you thinking. Please switch it back or add the ability for the user to do it. Or maybe just explain to me how to do it..Version: 5.0.1

✓ Literally just got it and hate itI literally got this app like 10 minutes ago and am deleting it. I am currently in class so I wanted to have an article read to me instead of hurting my eyes and literally used it to read one sentence and now it won’t read it to me until I pay. ✓ Has a paywall really early onI use this for scanning text and then listening to it. I have scanned about 5 documents in total and then got notified of a paywall. 5 documents is too little. It is just hiding behind “free” but really having a big in app purchase..Version: 5.3.0
✓ Don’t love the new updateThe app suddenly changed voices in the middle of a document I was listening to. Now it seems to try to change voices depending on the gender of whoever is speaking? However, it gets it wrong a lot of the time and it’s distracting. I wish I knew this change was coming and had the option to switch back to the old voice, as this one doesn’t even work properly. There isn’t any way to report an issue in the app (at least I couldn’t find it) so don’t know what to do other than leave a review. Other than this new update, I do love the app… hopefully it’s resolved soon. UPDATE: The app is now also playing music too?? Not at all what I would want hahaha. The changing voices is extremely distracting, even when they’re the “right” gender. Bummed I paid for this..Version: 5.0.1
✓ Good idea with so far poor execution.Trying to imitate a number of apps but barely succeeds in any functionality it promises to deliver. The main feature of this app should be an ability to read for you different articles and basic text but the reading voice is terrible compering to what out there. No punctuation, very basic and monolithic, “made in 1999”, with no option to choose a different voice or adjust, just a speed. You much better of to use build-in iPhone features, including reading for you any text of your choice, and it’s totally free. Maybe for some it’s a great app, for me definitely far from paying for it. I wouldn’t use it even for free..Version: 3.1.0

✓ A DisasterI am a premium member but have not been able to access (listen or read ) any article for several months. Informed Peech twice —no reply. Delete and download again sane problem; App crashes at every attempt to access article. Terrible service; Sub-standard customer care. The frustrating thing is they have curated excellent articles. This is why I have kept my subscription; hoping that the problem would be fixed. But, my patience is being tested..Version: 2.8.0

✓ Was excited……I was really looking forward to using this app for my text books but when I was listening to my scanned pages I noticed something strange, so I started reading the pages and there were so many mistakes and misspelled words. No wonder I was confused..Version: 4.6.0
✓ Read things wrong and stopped workingIt made up a lot of words scanning documents, every two pages, 1/2 to the full page was wrong. I ignored it for awhile & read the page on my own (what was missed until it caught up). Then, the app eventually wouldn’t save my scanned documents anymore. I tried multiple times, even deleting and downloading the app again. I have like 2 1/2 weeks left of my month subscription. It’s very frustrating and disappointing. A good idea, I just wish it worked better..Version: 5.4.2
✓ Can’t manage to find any sort of customer supportI have been trying to find a way I can get in contact with some sort of customer support but can’t manage to find anything. they automatically charged the $81 subscription after my free trial ended. I cannot afford this subscription nor do I really need it. I would still want to keep my subscription for a month or two and pay that fee instead but I don’t need it for a year.
