It’s the age old hokey marketing tactic of hoping the person forgets or is too busy to cancel on time. The honest way to offer a free app is to make it time restricted so I need to subscribe if I wish to continue. However, given that I have now been offered your exact same service under multiple similar app names, I don’t think honesty is really your strong suit. ✓ Don’t think it has some free featuresIf you see “Free with in app purchase” for an app that means there are some free features you can see and explore, if you like it, you subscribe to that app. But when you download this app, all you see is “subscribe or free trial for a week”. You try to find a “skip” button but there is none. So you have only one week to decide! Basically you download an advertisement from the app store (a 125mb one). This is the worst marketing strategy for an app. If you can’t find time to use the app in one week you either cancel or buy the subscription. Yes, I understand that you offer a 7-day free trial if you hit the subscribe button. However this is not the best way to let people try your app before buying a subscription. Simply put a time limit on the free version with all features active. If the app is good enough, then people will subscribe. Don't force people into subscribing to something that they haven't even tried. Furthermore, where on earth did you come up with charging £7.49 a week? I use simple piano which is a fantastic app, and it costs pennies in comparison to your app. Like I started I deleted this app right after installing it, and I imagine I wasn't the only one.
