Google Fit: Activity Tracker for Positive User Reviews

Allow period predictorsApple health has a thing where if you track your period consistently, it can tell you a guesstimate of when your following 3 or 4 periods should begin. It’s a great tool when planning vacations or hoping a certain visitor isn’t making an appearance. Basically… do something similar to what they did and you have me 100% on board..Version: 1.65

Stopped working! This app suited me so well up until yesterday when it has stopped, recording both heart rate and steps, I had just put on the iOS latest update and can only think it’s something to do with that. Have tried to get it working but failed so I have deleted it. I’m now going to reinstall it and hope that fixes the issue! Sadly, it seems the update has stopped this app working😳.Version: 1.73

Apple Watch?Great App. Just need apple watch.Version: 1.0

Google Fit for Fossil WatchI use this app to link my iPhone and my fossil IOS smart watch, it works really well and helps me track my heart rate, calories burned and workouts done. It’s great for running as it the GPS feature works well for me and shows the distance, overall time and time per KM as I run on my watch and then on my phone once I finish. The only issues I have had is I can’t seem to work the sleep function and the app on my phone takes up to half an hour to show a workout once I’ve completed it on my watch..Version: 1.27

Great appGreat app.Version: 1.28

The design is just mind blowingSo beautiful to see. Great app, better design. 😋.Version: 1.57

Just one questionHi this app is amazing but it has one problem that I don’t know how to do and that how to connect it to other apps like sweat coin and Pokémon go.Version: 1.28

Fills an important gap for Apple usersI am an iPhone/watch user and for me this app fills in important gap which is that it provides one number to evaluate the quality of daily exercise, i.e. the Heart Points. This is something which Apple health is missing as step counts, exercise minutes, etc. don’t do the job. So I’m excited about this! What is needed now is a widget and an Apple Watch app with a complication… It would be perfect to be able to see the heart points whenever you look at the watch. Add those features and I’ll go five stars..Version: 1.0

One thing missingIt’s great and all, but, there is one thing that should definitely be added… a link between apple health and this app, if it could link to apple health it would be able to save everything so that no data is lost.Version: 1.71

Great ImprovementsGoogle has slowly made many improvements over the life of this app. Now that Google Fit runs on iOS, I find the “Journal” to be very useful in collecting all workout and sleep data from multiple sources and grouping the data chronologically for easier access..Version: 1.5

FitnessI love Google Fit. Been using it for years.. but lately for the past two months. It has not been accurate on my miles. I use it for my mileage for machine exercises. However. When walking, it’s not giving me the right miles. I also use the apple tracker and the numbers from the GF is behind. This needs to be fixed. I also noticed that the numbers sometime retract back too..Version: 1.69

Good but needs improvementOverall a good app. A good way to keep track of your workouts. I have this app synced with the exercise app "fiton" and it does not always record my workouts accurately. For example, for some workouts, Google fit says I've only done 1 minute of exercise, when in fact it was 30 minutes! Good app overall but it's not always accurate..Version: 1.40

Almost perfectI enjoy this app, however there are limitation such as integration with my Apple Watch - i’d like the app on my watch home screen rather than solely on my iPhone. Plus integration with other apps, such as YouTube to get workout music, and watches by more manufacturers would be welcomed..Version: 1.28

Steps??As per today, you have made some changes but steps are not shown anymore. You could have let users change the way they like to track activities. I liked the way it was. edit: I reboot my device and I can see steps now. Though I liked the way it was..Version: 1.22.02004

ExcellentCould do with adding Strava connectivity to sync workouts straight from the google fit app.Version: 1.45

Simple visual resultsSimple and easy to set up. Clear and uncomplicated result displays. Not as sophisticated as the Apple Watch activity app but simpler to use and can be used across a range of brands..Version: 1.0

Good complementary appIs a great app used along with heart monitor and the apple health app. Not sure changing to steps goal is an improvement unless your only exercise is jogging or running etc. there are ‘other’ fitness activities which achieve improved fitness..Version: 1.22.02004

Thank You, Heart Disease AvengersExcellent. Pure and good, period. This is a gift to us. Yet, some people have still complained: "Until it magically aligns with my Sparkle Pony Unicorn heartbeat ratio index, measures perspiration sodium levels (aligning with my home-based lab testing), and adds a drop-down choice for bi-weekly underwater hot Tai BocChi lacrosse sessions so I don't have to do so manually (THE HORROR), I'm giving it only half a star..." Seriously, folks. Get a problem. Like heart disease. Have it in your family? You must not. Most folks who DO have heart disease, know someone with heart disease, or lost someone they love very much to heart disease aren't complaining about something so positive in the fight against this beyond-crappy death monger. We are every-day thankful for the genius, hard working souls at the AMA and Google (and Apple - thanks for the app, yo!) who joined forces in the magical Google Fit to make the world a better, healthier place so we don't lose even more people we love to this horrific, extremely preventable disease. Thanks to every heart disease Avenger who is fighting for our lives. We are so fortunate to have you walking with us..Version: 1.0

Good But Needs ImprovementThis is another great Google app, but there is still a lot of room for improvement. Sometimes it doesn’t sync from Health, which is annoying. Also, you can’t add steps manually. Overall I like it but I expected more functionality and less bugs..Version: 1.28

Almost perfect! This is a great app to track your workouts and provide a bit of motivation. However, why isn't climbing and bouldering included as listed sports?! Please add these and then I can commit to giving the app 5 stars. You can add your sport as "other" but still...it would be nice to show a consideration for a very popular sport..Version: 1.1

Healthy, Physically Wealthy & WiseMost people need motivation to stick to fitness goals. This app provides a simple and accessible means to keep you on track. A healthy body is more important to aspire towards than wealth as everyone needs to have the physical means to enjoy life..Version: 1.16.1

RequestOption to add a short note for each heart rate reading would be nice..Version: 1.61

Fossil gen4 userI enjoy the google fit app. However, I wish I could edit a workout after I complete it. For instance, I used my watch to record my workout and accidentally chose walk instead of run and started it ten minutes into my run. I’m unable to fix this now that it’s entered and although I realize it’s my mistake for entering it wrong I feel like it’d be easy enough for them to make it so I can adjust the time I started and the type of workout it was so I could get more accurate feedback..Version: 1.45

ActivitiesI really like this app, as it gives me a good idea of how much my work outs are having an impact, but I’m slightly confused by how the heart points are worked out for some activities, such as dancing, which definitely has my heart beating, but only gets 1 heart point a minute, and yoga which gets none at all..Version: 1.40

Great But A Little Bit Of Things To AddGoogle Fit Is Like The Best Fitness App For Many Reasons. Google fit is 100% free compared to the other apps which is the freaking best Shows ur calories Burnt It’s not accurate but great to have. Shows your goals like points you need to get each day. The App Is Easy To Look at and is not a big mess. And finally a app that connects to app health. ——- Things I wish they had When ever I’m like working out it says just a about 3 seconds to load but no big deal And font size needs to be bigger. They can make this a setting —//— Overall it’s super good.Version: 1.57

Change monthly data viewInstead of those circles whcho show the activity of each day in month, make it bar chart. I mean the same as week view but for 30 days..Version: 1.79

Really well done appLove this app for tracking calls, heart rate during workouts, total steps etc. Only thing missing from the app is to be able to have friends and have competitions. There are no app (that I have found) that offers a one place collection of fitness information where you can challenge friends and family. This app is really well done and would be the perfect platform for this..Version: 1.51

Generic note for the day? Journal could inc diary notesI was hoping when I click the + in an activity I can notate anything that I want and such as medication or how I’m feeling that day. It looks like it’s attached to an activity in terms of expelling energy. Would love to see a generic note/diary addition to this app. Super easy to do!!!.Version: 1.58

Please bring back trackingHello, I love the Google Fit app, but there was a change I didn’t like. Now users can only log a workout after you’re done. It would be great if we could have the track while you workout option back especially for short periods like doing jumping jacks or push-ups..Version: 1.82

Very good app but could use some improvementsThe app in question is a very strong reliable app it is free ( unlike some competitors ). links to your google account. and helps get you working out. Although it does have its problems I wish it could link up to your fit bit and I also wish it could have instructional daily workout videos. All the “problems” with the app aren’t necessarily problems but could add to it. To sum it up more people should know and use this app.Version: 1.43

WantedIt is really good at all your fitness..Version: 1.83

Generally a good appI would like to say it’s helped me become more aware of how physically active I am, I would love for it to track my heart points better though. I ran about 3 miles and it didn’t record any of my running, it’s a minor problem but still frustrating trying to track my progress..Version: 1.54

Love this AppI love this app. I wish I knew earlier about this app, my workout would have been more easier. Before I used to workout more or less and had no tack of it. But this app made it so easy to keep my record and tells me exactly how much I need to walk or run today. It makes me crave more everyday to workout more and more. So thankful for this app. Highly recommended.Version: 1.70

Still worksKudos to engineers who are maintaining it. They deserve a bonus..Version: 1.83

FitbitI would love to have this app on my Fitbit.Version: 1.13

Google Fit rewardsSuggestion introduce Google Fit Rewards take part in health related Market Research like track your steps, track heart rate, and other research to earn points that can be redeemed for PayPal cash or gift cards for stores and restaurants all this data can be used for Market research activities thank you.Version: 1.22.02004

Nice but no Fitbit sync / data sharingSince google bought Fitbit I was really hoping to sync or data share my Fitbit on google health it would be a great addition. I love Fitbit watches and accessories..Version: 1.28

Good but need to be betterThis offers a nice clear UI and the best way for IOS health data to sync with Google eco-system but it doesn't support the iPad health app.Version: 1.82
