✓ Ruining the look of the game.The new update has ruined the tiles of the game they used to look really nice like glass and now they look basic and dull. This is a great game but I really wish the new updates would make the layout look nicer not worse as in with the previous update where now the avatars you make can only smile with teeth instead of mouths closed as well which does not look very appealing and looks quite awful in my opinion. Really recommend this to any Harry Potter fan 😃 However I’ve noticed something strange with my game is that in the events section I keep seeing 2 notifications but there’s nothing to do there! I made sure I cleared every task and event but it still says that I need to do something but I’m confused as to what I’m supposed to do? It won’t even lead me to where I’m supposed to go to clear this notification. I know this sounds silly but it could be a bug in this game. ✓ Overall a fairly solid and fun gameAs far as I can see so far it’s all free to play. I’ve only cleared first 9-10 levels and am character level 2, so not yet so far into it as to have unlocked all gameplay, yet still far enough to see that the basic level of gameplay is both free to play and ad free! It’s obviously a fair bit repetitive as are most of these types of games but it’s enjoyable broken up with new character interactions and pleasantly nostalgic cut scenes in between puzzle rounds. If I had to give it a score out of 10 I’d probably land around a 7.5/10 then add another point for being Harry Potter related, finishing on an 8.5/10 for ad free, wholesome, simple game that helps take your mind off things after a long day or when you’re too stressed to otherwise focus. ✓ Great game for the first 300 levelsGame is designed well and really fun for the first 300 or so levels. At around level 400 it becomes intensely frustrating. I’m almost at level 500 but nearly all the boards take over 10 tries to win. So you get stuck in the game and don’t go anywhere without buying special moves. These are too pricey, I’m not spending 1-2 dollars every time I get stuck on a board, especially when practically every board at this level requires you to either spend 20 minutes to beat it or 1-2 dollars. The group leader is over level 1000 so it’s not like I’m about to beat the game. Also the card collection only gives you duplicates after you win your first two pets, and it’s set up so you have to win 80 boards to get a new card. You need 6 for each pet and there are 7 different pets that are available. Short of it it’s okay to have a hard board that’s challenging to beat once in awhile but when it’s every single board the game is no longer fun. My only concern is that every time one of those events “where you collect ingredients to make things” ends I always seem to have a number 2 hovering over the Events tab at the bottom of the screen. This usually means that you have an item to collect inside and it’s a reminder for you to go do that. However, when I click on Events there is nothing inside for me to collect or anything of that sort. I’m not sure why this happens but I’ve noticed the last 3 times that one of those fantastic feasts / cooking events ends I have a number 2 show up on the Events tab below. It will remain that way until a new fantastic feasts/cooking/event starts. Then the number 2 goes away but as soon as the event ends a number 2 shows back up on the Events tab all over again. ✓ Great game. Could be near perfect with some tweaks.All in all, this game is very fun and addictive. If you love the match three puzzle genre, this game will definitely satisfy that itch. The game has some very frustrating quirks, though, that I think need to be addressed: 1. Swipe bugs show up often. You click on a gem and swipe one direction, only to have the gem swipe the opposite direction. 2. Fat finger purchases. You click on the big button to end a puzzle, only to have it spend your purchased or accumulated coin on extending the level by a few turns. (Adding a confirmation prompt to this and all transactions in the game makes way too much sense not to happen) 3. Clearing a block of gems only to have that space stay empty until you make another move. 4. Having gems fall together into a combination that should produce a special item (key/bomb/lightning/bag) but doesn’t. 5. Adding a feedback button in the app so that these issues can be brought up without having to file an app review... If you play occasionally, these issues may not seem very irksome. If you play as much as I do, though, these things can add up to a very frustrating game session. The purchases issue, in particular, pisses me off the most as it can take days to save up for another pack of cards. ✓ Love this game but could be betterThis is the only game I can play each day for hours without feeling bored. Love the HP references and the graphics. I wish it included an option to play older levels, once you catch up with all the released levels there’s nothing to do really. Need to wait for Tuesday for the quill events to come back on, this means nothing on the weekends which is when I generally have lot of free time. No replays means no way to gain xp or get new star packs for new creatures. Another thing with star packs is after you get the brown rat and the ones with gold, it seems that you will only get duplicates. The only way to get a new one seems to be is to have a full duplicate album which is a lot of levels to clear. And once you catch up with all the levels, it’s really hard to get a full duplicate pack with just 20 levels each week. I do feel like there are very less boosters that we can get for free but I don’t really use them so that’s not a big concern. But I really wish there was a “confirm” option before you use 900 gold for extra moves or buying card packs. ✓ I really want to give is 5 starsI am a complete Harry Potter fan and love all things Harry Potter. Of all the games I’ve ever downloaded this one is by far the best. they’ve done such a great job with levels, challenges, team play and upgrades. Until one of the recent upgrades. It has been very frustrating. Part of the puzzles is getting power ups. Sometimes you earn them sometimes you create them. The winged key power up used to go after puzzle obstacles and help in completing the puzzle. Now the winged keys will go after other power ups. Some of these levels are really hard and you have to be strategical. The power ups are there to help you not hinder you and when you have some thing saved for a specific move and then the winged key sets it off, it can completely destroy your entire puzzle and you will have no chance of winning that level. Because of this some thing that is supposed to help you makes it to where you have to play some levels over and over and over again. When it gets to that point, I put the game away and stop playing. Side note: I’d be nice if during the Quidditch challenge and team challenge we could ask for lives from our team mates like we can on the regular puzzles..BFMKCCOVersion: 71.0.213

Now the developers only care about forcing people to buy coins, as it is the only way to beat some levels. With this latest update they have taken way the free game play when the day starts over…this was the only way a lot of people had enough lives to beat some of these challenging levels. Lives in this game are hard to come by and you don’t get to keep many in your bank. It’s just another feature people loved about the game that has been taken away to force people to buy coins. The chapters and stories are perfectly matched to the books. The additional challenges and puzzles are really fun and exciting. The daily puzzle keeps you interested and engaged. Sometimes additional challenges are introduced without much information so can be a bit bewildering until you get used to it. The ability to pick a team is great, you can search on names and choose one that matches your house or favourite character. You can also leave a team at any point if it doesn’t work for you. Team challenges are great and getting trophies for the team is really bonding. It’s got to a stage where you are being forced to buy coins to continue the game ie when you loose all your lives sometimes you get the option of watching a video and get 5 extra moves or pay 900 coins for 5 extra moves. If you don’t have the coins to pay for the extra moves you watch the video. Well time and time again the video will not play so it’s making you pay to continue. I have contacted support and their explanation was they don’t have control of the videos as that is contracted out. ✓ Great Time KillerGreat game with a lot of creativity, but I believe there are some features that could be tweaked for a better experience. My biggest suggestion is the unlimited lives when you log in. I like to play at night and my league has a set time they usually activate our challenge. That is when I want to use my unlimited lives since it’s a timely occurrence. Throughout the day, I am fine with just giving my normal levels a go, and then waiting till my lives refill. If being able to activate our unlimited rewards whenever we want, I think that’d be great even if they expire after 24 hours so you can’t stack them. Also, the price of power ups is a little high with gold being so hard to collect without paying. I know games like this need to make money but I would more willingly make a purchase if I felt like the gold was worth it, but right now you can only buy a few power ups, extra turns for a high cost. I’ve noticed some glitches in previous versions where sometimes the app would freeze and crash mid-puzzle (frustrating because you then lose a life), but that seems largely resolved in the new version. I don’t typically leave reviews for apps, but there’s one point I’ve got a really strong opinion on: I’m really disappointed that in this version, you’ve limited who can start the daily puzzles to club leader or officer again. While it was not perfect with the MVP, it did motivate people to play more regularly. My suggestion would be to make the daily puzzle standard and restart every day automatically (like the subject class puzzles) it could even be for a short period of time like a couple of hours like those special challenges (collect x number of gems in the next 4 hours etc.) it’s just really frustrating to be in a group that is not super active and never get a crack at the daily puzzles as a result..TaliaJDVersion: 29.0.675

✓ Excellent game and no need to spend moneyThe key to progressing with this game without spending money is patience and strategy. I don’t mean waiting around a long time because there’s plenty to keep busy if you are out of lives. Choosing to watch ads whenever you can (which isn’t excessive) really helps progress because bonuses are pretty generous. Join a club because there’s benefits as long as you are in an active one. It doesn’t have to be top level. Find the events and activities that get the goals you want to achieve and focus on those. For example, if your problem is you can’t get all the creatures, complete the collecting gems events for the chests. If you get all of the chests (watch ads to help) you get a time turner so you can collect again. If you get all of the chests twice you get a pack of cards for the animals! Look for features like this within events and you’ll soon be on your way! If you get stuck on a level, which doesn’t happen too often, just keep plugging at it eventually a bonus will pop along and help. This game is loads of fun and great quality. You can choose to pay for stuff, but you don’t have to for it to be awesome! I’ve never spent a penny and have every creature and lots of bonus items. ✓ Addictively frustratingI cannot put this game down but am forced to due to the considerably disproportionate 900 coin cost to continue a level against the daily coin collection. In short, the ability to earn enough coins to either extend your play on a level, buy bundles or extra lives is extremely weighted to forcing players to spend money, which, in my opinion, is ruining the game and gameplay. You can burn through 5 lives very easily on one level then find yourself either waiting an eternity for the lives to recharge or ponder on how much you are willing to spend to continue, which, if you are a minor or in a clan fighting for a position, can be tempting and very expensive. TO THE DEVELOPERS A definite reconsideration either on the daily coin package size or reducing the coin costs associated with buying lives or to continue a level is required. ✓ Quidditch BuggedThis rating would be higher, because I enjoy the game as a whole. I love playing Quidditch a lot, but I’ve been having the same problem as a few other people I’ve noticed. My game-start creature effects haven’t been working, like they always had before, knowing the creature blast itself has never been available. *BUT* the worst came yesterday morning. I can’t progress past Quidditch puzzle 1. It isn’t that I can’t win. I do, it states my victory, but it still doesn’t give me puzzle 2. The game leaves me on puzzle 1 and takes a Quidditch life away, the same as if I’d lost. Meaning playing Quidditch is worthless to me right now. I contacted Zynga Player Support stating all this. They responded with “we realize it can be frustrating to not be able to use your creature during Quidditch. We’ve sent your words to the developers for future consideration.” That’s it. It isn’t funny to wait for a creature meter of 65+ to charge up so it can be used at the best time just to lose it and the level as a result. Pranks are not harmful. In a game like this, these so called “pranks” ARE harmful. It isn’t fun and makes me not want to play when this particular event is going on. I had hoped it would only be a one off event. Also, for new players, this is a game designed for new players to boost a team. The more advanced levels are harder to complete but still earn the same number of trophies. This means the low levels earn more trophies faster than the higher levels. Be prepared, if you are on a team, to be kicked out if you get too high. I'm nearing 3000 wins and what money I've spent is to support a great game, not because I had to to win. The key, I suppose, is to really understand your power-ups and how they work with each other. Takes practice and patience, and some puzzles are tough, but the game offers many many ways to earn extra time without you needing to break out your wallet. Best 'match 3' I've played by far, and I've loaded and uninstalled a lot of them. PS--Around 8000 puzzles total now, and regardless of what you may read, I'm convinced there's not a puzzle in the game that requires buying power-ups, extra lives and such. You get lives which refresh regularly although I’d like them to be a bit faster. The levels start off relatively easy and get harder. There are lots of Harry related references. Love the music. I’m pretty far into this now and it can take me lots of lives to complete a level but it gives you a sense of satisfaction when you succeed. I really like the mandrakes. I have purchased extra coins but don’t do so that often. I only have one criticism. You join a team when you start. To move up the reward levels you need your team to be playing regularly. In my case there are just two of us out of 20 that play every day. This makes it so hard to get promoted. I think if you don’t play for a month you should be removed from the team. ✓ Biggest issue in my opinionSo I love this game but my only issue is the fact that for the Clubs/Clans in the game if players aren’t active they just sit there. For example my club leader hasn’t been active for over a year and neither has the Officer, I feel like if players haven’t been online after a certain amount of time they should be booted from the club or at least have the leadership removed and passed on to someone else so that person can kick them out and make room for people who actually want to play the game and progress as a team Update so I play this game with my mom I have for the past 2-3 years we love the game but our biggest issue is still the clubs 29/30 people in our club and half of the including the leader and officer of our club have been inactive for such a long time we stand zero chance of progressing because of this. ✓ Enjoyable gameThere are a lot of match 3 games out there and I find this one keeps me coming back for more. Installed on the 13th November, as of 31st December made my way up to level 38 and on puzzle 825! Whilst some puzzles can be hard and frustrating at times, I like you are rewarded with unlimited lives for a certain amount of time between the events and daily rewards. Without using them I don’t think I would have got as far as I have. I have read some of the 4 star reviews, and feel I can give an objective look and honest perspective as someone that has played this game for over a year: 1) As a club officer, we had struggles initially with the Daily Puzzle being started either too early or too late. The way we resolved this issue was taking into account (using the club chat) of the general time zones of our club members. We then made sure all officers and leader were able to start the Daily Puzzle at a specific time of the day. This shot up our daily participation in the puzzle. Our MVPs are given a warning if they start the puzzle over an hour and a half before the specified time. I have recommended the idea of a feature allowing officers and the leader to set a specific time for MVP to start the puzzle, or a daily auto start time for the puzzle that officers and the leader and override. 2) Creature cards show as “duplicates” after you first get one, but the key part is the + number. So if it says +4, then you received 4 duplicates toward the 30 needed for the purple decks. The creators have actually made it easier to get every creature card. Once you have gotten every available creature album, the stars stack up quick and you can quickly get the latest albums. 3) Ad complaints I don’t understand as I very rarely watch them. 4) I have found progressing in this game is far easier than in other games without making any purchases..Saclark65Version: 40.3.783

✓ Awesome game!I’ve been playing this game for a long time. I love that there’s always some event going on leading to random rewards. My current favorites are the Secret Scenes! I also like the Feast events in which you collect ingredients and choose your own rewards. I am so glad that the ad options for +3 moves got fixed. The puzzles do get harder as you progress but are the right balance where even if you get stuck on one for a while it is not impossible and you can get through without using lots of coins. They also link bits from the films, well so far up to chamber of secrets. There are a couple of problems. At times when you clear an obstacle the gems don’t drop down into the space you cleared so there is a gap. Sometimes you can use up a move just to get them to drop down or they don’t drop at all which is frustrating when it means you won’t complete the level. The other problems is clubs. You can get benefits joining a club and work up the leagues. However the club I’m in has a lot of dead weight with people not playing for ages. This includes the club leader and officers. It means that we can’t kick them out and make space for new people who will play and so we will progress up the leagues further than we are. I’m reluctant to move clubs as it took a while to find one that actually had enough people participating in the first place. ✓ There seem to be some technical issuesHaving trouble getting game to load. When it does, it says it’s not connected to the internet, although I am, and my club info won’t load. Going back and forth with not loading, not being able to access club info or play daily - very frustrating. The puzzles become more challenging, which is to be expected, although some have such limited available moves that it is virtually impossible to achieve the goals, collect a large number of a certain color gem without using multiple power ups and buying extra lives. There’s so many unique and magical ways to solve each puzzle, and it’s actually fun to do so during free time to distress. HOWEVER, it can feel a bit repetitive and slow, especially storyline wise. I have to make myself push through at times, since a new story chapter is every 40 levels, and being in the same chapter for so long can feel boring. If only the story chapters were shortened to maybe 10-15 levels per chapter, it would feel refreshing more often and we’d be able to get to the more latter stories such as Goblet of Fire and Order of the Phoenix. ✓ “Support” team failI loved this game until I lost the opportunity to win a magical creature due to a game glitch. I paid cash for an event so I could win a magical creature. Near the end of the event I was on track to complete the tasks and win the creature when the game stopped offering daily tasks. I knew I couldn’t win without the points from those tasks. I contacted support and described the problem before the event was over. They responded that they were aware of the problem and were working on it, but no further daily tasks appeared, the event ended, I lost the creature and my money and heard nothing more. I contacted support again, described the problem again. I said I was very unhappy and thought they should give me the creature or refund my money or give me game credits. They responded that they were still investigating, that they would get back to me through the same support ticket. There’s also an element of competition and sportsmanship when it comes to the ‘Club’ aspect where you can form clubs and compete to be Promoted or Demoted each week depending on how many trophies your club earns, this allows for you and friends to help each other compete on a leaderboard and send each other lives if you are struggling on certain puzzles. ✓ Fun, but don’t expect to earn more creaturesThe game is highly addictive. You can do every level without power ups, though it might take several tries. I’m over level 900 without spending money on the game. That being said there are issues, and you won’t earn creatures after the ones you get on the first day. Examples of issues include incorrect notifications and puzzle problems. Currently I have 7 notifications on the Events tab and I should have 1. It behaves especially weird when guild puzzles are open. In addition, it’s common for it to take out the wrong color when I do a swap and for puzzles to start with swapping (meaning it doesn’t even start with valid choices). This last thing leads me to believe that while all puzzles are winnable, they are not all winnable every time otherwise there would be no swapping at the beginning. All cards in the packs (even the packs you spend gold on) are duplicates. When you get one away from getting a new one, all the new cards generated from the duplicates turn in will be for a brand new creature that’s just been announced. I don’t see a way to pay for a new one because all the cards I’ve got with gold gave me duplicates so there isn’t really a reason to go after the gold for me. I’d be tempted to spend money to get more pets, but as the game is now, I don’t see a reason to work for or buy gold. ✓ Hours of Fun & No Ads!!Great addictive game! Best phone game I’ve had in years. The game play is fantastic, the options outside of the main game mean you can keep ‘playing’ whilst your lives refill. There’s so many sub-games and challenges too. ✓ Harry PotterCould be so much more better,started off brilliantly then ended up to be same as all the other games,gives you free time but doesn’t let you neat the level until free time has ran out, not very forthcoming with collecting booster or coins unless you want to buy them..make some levels so hard it can take days to complete it, makes its very boring in the end..carried on playing,hasn’t got much better,still a lot of free time wasted. Creature of the week seems to be a waste of time..the creature that help and let you collect an extra 3 trophies seem to be non existent in the creature of the week so waste of time collecting the limited addition ones.. However.. with the events… when an event is over it still shows as it’s still going on but says 0 hours and calculating results (even after they’ve just shown the results), also it says I’ve got multiple notifications but when I click on each event to get rid of that little number on the event section it doesn’t go away and still says I’ve got things to look at when I know for a fact there’s nothing for me to check, collect or just look at in general so I’m hoping you’ll be able to sort that little bug out because it is quite frustrating to have something like that continuously happen:)).B0Ng420Version: 51.1.116

✓ Love the game, adds 🤬Love the game, although there’s a new feature to gain +3 turns if you watch an add. Which has been fine so far till tonight, I often play before bed and the add that came up was for some zombie game and really scared me I turned it off after a few seconds but now it’s stuck in my head. Definitely won’t be using this feature again as I’m terrified there will be another scary add like that! ✓ Great Harry matching gameThis game is awesome. You get to be in a club to earn points and good rewards. But it’s really hard. I have played many matching games over the last 12 yrs. This game made me wanna through my tablet, delete the game and curse at it. I was ready to just give up. I have since them gotten to level 2018 and now I’m stuck again. But I love it I really do love this game. I even had my mom create a group. It’s a family game now. Now with all that being said. I don’t understand what they did in the last update before this new one. But they got away free game play in the daily log in. Everyone in our group hates it now. For us regular people that get stuck a lot we need at extra free lives. Those 10 min make a huge difference. We hate. Please for the love of all holy please put it back.
