✓ Best app ever❤️❤️❤️If you have taken a bad photo or you are bad at taking photos you are made for Lensa 👍I highly recommend this app I almost 😅 spent a whole day on it until my mum came and said I have to go bed but I did stay on from 8 o’clock in the morning to to 6 o’clock in the friking morning 👌if you get bored very easily you need to get this app and it is free trail so if you like it you can give a bit of 💴.Version: 3.1.0
✓ Just one suggestion…I love this app! You cannot go wrong using this, it’s so user friendly, easy to use and does the job amazingly. My ONLY issue is that the latest update doesn’t incorporate the ability to open a photo straight from ‘photos’ anymore like it used to. On iPhone for instance, you used to be able to select a photo and open that photo in Lensa from options as opposed to going onto the Lensa app and adding photos manually this way, as sometimes it’s difficult to navigate through thousands of photos. I would love this feature to be added back in as I literally did it this way every time I edited a photo. This has now been fixed with the new version. It’s soo much better. ✓ Doesn’t loadFirst of all since last update it wouldn’t load. This is now sorted but I now don’t get the 3 free photos per day, it’s just says ‘0 left’ but I haven’t used any for over a week. it’s very frustrating as this app used to be brilliant 😫 Update: thank you for your response. ✓ Annual subscription problemsPurchased an annual unlimited option for this app. Worked well for the first month. Good photo editing options. But then 1 months after I started I received notification that I can only download 3 photos per day and it no longer works as it should. ✓ Crashing & Locking UpI’ve been using this app for about 2 years and love it until recently. After some updates not all the backgrounds worked, they went on top of your picture or didn’t operate at all (they seem to be working now, but I’ve gotten used to switching to another app for my background). As of lately the app will close when I’m editing photos and I have to reopen it. I will get a few more photos edited and it just closes again…very frustrating. I have an IP 8 and shut it down, but didn’t have any affect on the app, it still closes periodically. It also will lock the screen sometimes when saving a picture, but not only the screen, your entire phone. One day it took me like 30mins to be able to shut my phone down, couldn’t get off the saving screen that wasn’t working. I deleted the app and reinstalled. I’m a few weeks in and it locked the screen saving a picture but I was able to get out and went to apps and saw it has an update so updated and it still closes on its own. Love the app, but it gets frustrating with these few glitches, but I do continue to use. Just want to let the creator now the problems I’m having. Recommend this app..Version: 4.4.0

There are still a lot of features like hair colour changing, removing background, face change (remove dots/pimples lip, eye and eyebrows) and other features. I understand how much work goes into developing an app and to see reviews based on their ability to use an app is disappointing. I did recently update it & since then some images won’t make any edits & then when you get out & look at the feed of your images it doesn’t show you that image anymore… it’s happening to every 5th image. ✓ Best of its kind but not cheapI use an old freebie app called wondercam that honestly beat most of the cheesy selfie paid apps available. Unfortunately it stopped working on newer iphones. After downloading tons of cheesy selfie touchup apps I ran across Lensa. Holy cow this app has superior quality effects! Best selfie app I’ve tried! It’s easy to adjust and turn down some of the effects. It’s not overly complicated to use. I don’t like it when all effects are so souped up it looks obvious and fake. Also most selfie apps have bad quality effects. Lensa magicmode and effects are excellent. Lensa lets me adjust perfectly. Even with the effects souped up it looks professional. No cheesy blurring or smears. I also love that I can go in settings and make this open in camera mode! Now I can use Lensa as my camera too! It would be cool in future versions to have an option to apply magic correction after you take a photo or a default setting of effects. Then after the picture is taken it apply’s the effects automatically. Adjust from there or even reset if you want. Lastly as a guy thank you for making a gender neutral app icon lol. No cheesy flowery pink camera icon etc The only downside to this app is cost. It requires a subscription, but for me, the app is good enough it’s worth the price. Granted it’s expensive for many people. An app of this calibre requires good programming. These developers need to eat too..Version: 2.4.0

Unfortunately sometimes you need to wait way longer for that, it’s like you’re pushing your former subscribers to subscribe again and for that reason I’m giving you one star. ✓ Cool BUT….This app is pretty awesome. But, it doesn’t let you save the images in 4K unless you subscribe to the app. That is pretty sketchy since I already paid a premium to generate the images. It only sneaks in that disclaimer when you get to download the images. I love the images and don’t love being deceived into spending more and more money. The cost should be built in or at least presented up front. Also, not as revolutionary as everyone thinks. Many apps (such as Viola) have been turning regular photos into different styles of artistic interpretations for a couple years at this point. However, this is definitely the next level. ✓ GlitchyI love this app and have had it for over a year. The only problem is that I’ve had to uninstall and install the app several times throughout my use so it’ll work since it won’t open up. I then lose all my files each and every time I do that since it’s the only way it’ll open up again. The new video editor I’ve tried to use as well. The app shuts off and I lose my edits during the video and have to restart the app. Very annoying!!!!! Need to fix the glitches and random shut off. ✓ The coolest feature you have to pay for each timeMy gripe is I wish they would make it clearer that the magic avatars you have to pay for everytime you generate them. The subscription only allows you to down load the avatars you have already paid for in 4K. The music library for videos is very limited and you can’t do a search for a particular genre. Instagram reels does a better job. The AI generated art is very good though but I wish you could edit the results to remove some of the artefacts. ✓ Some of the new avatar options miss the markI just completed my second batch of $10 x100 images… on ten whole - they’re great… However.. I mostly did a second batch bobcat of the new options… hit n miss… The “steam punk” option seems to have missed the brief- it’s more like “if old school diving bells were clothing” And the “Whichy” one I was REALLY looking forward to- was really disappointing… it wasn’t “hot Witch” like the thumbnail implied- not for me anyway.. ALL of the images were old ladies… very much the standard old tired witch trope, minus the large warty nose… green eyes even! ✓ Use this app and stop the old photo scanning madnessThis app took me a while to figure out my preferred tools. But well worth the payoff. The setup option let’s me move around the tools based on MY workflow that’s works for ME. the skin, teeth, neck and foreground/background enhancement options work flawlessly on my iPhone 15Pro Max. I gave up on scanning old photos years ago when I discovered my iPhone camera with light over an old photo is fine. Now with this apps AI image learning, I have been able to revisit all those old precious photos from the 80’s, 90’s & 00’s and WOW!! Blur the background a little Clean the chocolate off that messy 3 year old’s face Touchup the skin tones. Worst case: if the old photo is too hard to get perfect than I can choose an Artwork overlay (Surf is my favorite) and BAM!! That old fuzzy, imperfect photo is a beautiful simple brushed oil painting!! This app is worth every penny. I’ve got 130,000 photos. I’m an amateur. But I love photography enough to say this app will not disappoint. (Please make MacOS Apple Silicon version use iCloud sync) One star ding because the Avatar promo didn’t work for me. I just had to pay and wait, days and days. No message offering a redo. Nothing. Had to get an iTunes refund for that module..Version: 5.7.3

✓ No way to add new photoset for magic avatarsThe AI is incredible and the avatars it generated are amazing, but there doesn’t seem to be any way to generate new avatars based on a DIFFERENT set of 10-20 photos if you think that the photos you chose originally were not the best for this purpose. Currently it’s telling me the magic avatar service is unavailable anyway, so I’m unable to really play around with anything at the moment. Editing individual photos is all I can do now, but that’s something that hundreds of other apps can do. I’m probably going to cancel my subscription before it kicks in unless I can generate new avatars from a different photo set..Version: 4.6.6

✓ BewareThe app states that it’s a free trial for 7 days. After that membership options are monthly, yearly or one time fee forever. During my trial, there was no way to select the option for membership. It wasn’t until today, 2 weeks later I was finally able to figure out I was charged for a FULL YEAR and there is no way to upgrade to the one time membership. I tried to cancel all together and learned it was too late I was locked in until next year, 2021. I really enjoyed the app, but this tainted my opinion, as it is very shady. It’s sad to have a great product, and it be overshadowed by this. I recommend the app developer become more transparent in their membership enrollment so customers would know the only option is one year. They should allow members to select the membership they choose upfront so when the free trial ends that they are enrolled in what plan they want..Version: 2.3.4

What Lensa should be complimented for is offering a pricing model unlike most of its competitors who drag you in under the idea of being free but to do anything remotely good you have to pay to do. Lensa allows you to edit 3 photos a day. For free. With no watermarks and all the key features you need. Need to do more quickly. Buy a weekly pass that’s competitively priced (don’t forget to cancel) want to pay yearly then there’s options for that too and often has discounts available if you’re patient enough to wait. The app is successful because it works, people can see it works before paying for unlimited access and has a pricing model most people can get on board with. Competitors this is how it’s done. ✓ Never got images backThe app collects payment very well. 5 stars there. Too bad I never got images back after paying and uploading. App said it would notify me, but nothing. Even the 20 min progress circle is gone! Time to hope Apple refund service is also a 5-star kind of experience! Update: Apple has refunded the purchase. At the same time, the developer suggested trying the app again and oddly, the avatars do show now. I did use the private relay to sign up in-app. Not sure if that was the issue. Since I hadn’t looked at the app in a couple of days, I am not sure when they became available but confident they were not available in the 2 hourish after I ordered.
