✓ BadThis used to be a good app. Back then it was a free app where you could take a picture of the problem and it would show you how to solve it. It worked really well for me and it helped me out a lot. But then I just re-downloaded it now and it is now asking me for money, like what the heck..Version: 1.8

✓ Pointless AppThis app is practically knock off photomath, on photomath you can actually see the answer to the equation and all you have to pay for is premium (optional) to see other things. The point of this app was to help me solve my math homework not charge me for it. On photomath they show you the answer and help you. ✓ They only want money!I got this app because I had a frustrating problem and needing help. All the reviews said awful things, and I thought they were over exaggerating. THEY WERE NOT! the first thing that happened after I downloaded the app was it asked me for money. 20 something dollars a month. That’s insane. I ignored it and clicked the x. After I clicked my picture, guess what happened, they asked again for money!! Good people and apps who want to help should be for free. I took several pictures of the problem, each time it took close to a minute to load then every time it gave me an error message. ✓ Don’t waste your time on this lousy “calculator”I was looking for a better calculator that actually shows the steps of a problem without having to spend money. I used this app literally for 5 minutes (I’m not kidding) to put in one problem. Guess what happens, they didn’t even show me the answer. It was blurred. That’s right, the answer was blurred. Not the steps, the ANSWER. Maybe because it was a trigonometry equation (studying for final exam) so I put in a different equation, a simple algebra equation. NOT EVEN A SIMPLE EQUATION WITH ONE VARIABLE HAD AN ANSWER. WHAT THE HECKING HECK. The point of a calculator is to give you the answer, even a calculator from dollar tree can give me an answer. But this FREE app won’t even give you the ANSWER. I don’t mind not having the equation worked out for me, but cmon give me the answer. This app is basically a calculator that has no point. What kind of calculator doesn’t give you the answer? I still use photomath because it still shows me the process without having to spend money. Don't take my word for it: there are countless other reviews mentioning this as well. When you first open the app, guess what? It immediately wants you to allow camera access (makes sense) and notifications (which doesn't make sense, why would a math app need to spam my notifications?), then it asks you to sign up for their subscription. I, like most people, ignored it and clicked the X. The next thing I did was scan a problem. Guess what? You can't get the answer or steps without paying! You read that correctly, you have to buy their subscription to even get access to the answer! What's the point of a calculator if it doesn't even give you the answer?? ✓ This app is horribleHad it it for a week I was hoping to get an app that I could use for online school and when I got this app I didn’t look at the ratings but I really wish I looked at the ratings I got this app and it seemed pretty simple you just snap a picture and give you the answer when I snap a picture and then it says sorry we can’t solve this math problem but will tell you later I did this multiple times and it still didn’t work and I tried it with multiple other problems and it didn’t help me whatsoever and the app would repeatedly just take me out of it and not let me back and I would click on it multiple times but it still didn’t let me in and I clicked on my other apps on my phone and they all let me in so it’s definitely something wrong with the stupid app.Version: 1.5

✓ DONT WASTE YOUR TIMEI had this app for a while because i said when i got it “ill use it when i need it” and load and behold i need it. So i open the app and it says to get the subscription but, like most people i click the X in the corner and i scan my question. But it blurred it out and there was a button that said “see answer” and i thought that was wierd do i clicked it and it said you have to PAY a monthly subscription to see the answer but b a FREE app. So in my opinion l, dont get this app it’ll just waste your time..Version: 1.8
✓ Disgusting scam, do not downloadWhere does it tell you that you are signing up to £9.49 per month. My 13 year old daughter downloaded then deleted this app, I have just discovered that I have been paying for last 2 months. Wish she had just got a Samsung and I would not have had to add my payment details to get signed up to the App Store.Version: 1.4

✓ DisgracefulThis app is a complete waste of time, especially for someone who’s going to do their end of year exam or GCSE when they’re not allowed to make in-app purchases. A better option is to get MathWay or Socratic. These both use the camera as a calculator but there’s also no payment to answer questions. This app is just horrific!.Version: 1.4
✓ Had problemsYesterday I was doing some homework and needed some help so ofc I found this app to help me. When I first went in I was confident it would work… it didn’t it kept saying to take a picture of your math problem and I did over and over again then I tried it again today but it said the same thing. Idk if anyone else has this issue but can the creator fix the bugs thx 😄.Version: 1.8
