Fantastic simA great in depth simulation of counter insurgency mechanics and a bright adaptation of the pandemic simulator it draws its systems from. Great balance and fast paced decision making give this title a sense of urgency and sacrifice that you feel when your decisions push the limits. Highly recommended to anyone, especially those with an interest in the Afghan war and COIN operations..Version: 1.2.2

Good, needs a mopVery good, love the advanced difficulty and complex nature. The interface looks a little untidy, and should be smoother and look better: more solid colouring like in Plague INC..Version: 1.7.0

What I really neededI have always been bored with the “games that are like this” because with those games you handle military while you leave politics and reputation to NPCs, but this one is different you must stabilise the regions, play your political and reputation cards wisely, all the while fighting a war (or signing a peace treaty) with the insurgents. It is great. I also love the fact that James is actually human and speaker to us instead of just giving our money to a faceless CEO.Version: 1.4.5

Soooo sequel!?To anyone and everyone looking at these reviews as a way to gauge just if the game is worth buying, let me be as clear as possible; BUY THIS GAME, IT IS INCREDIBLE. I was more than a little skeptic all at first, I’ve had ALOT of bad luck when it comes to buying games that look good but inside it’s a load of meh. This game? You’re getting your moneys worth and a lot more my friend, I’ve been playing it none stop! If you like being kept on your toes in challenging, truly enjoyable levels then I will repeat; THIS IS THE GAME FOR YOU. Enjoy!!.Version: 1.1

So engrossingIt’s rare that a game is made that challenges so many different aspects of your thinking and not only has this company done it once before with plague inc, they’ve recreated that again with this new game. It’s currently 2 am and has me hooked. I’m happy that they’ve taken the time and effort to make this game right unlike most other game developers out there who just pump out sub par game after sub par game. This is amazing, keep up the great work everyone!.Version: 1.1

Good game :)Many hours of entertainment.Version: 1.2.1

Great gameAmazing tactical gameplay have had heaps of fun playing this game.Version: 1.0.2

Good gameGood gameplay.Version: 1.6.0

Fun butThis game is good, it’s got enough difficult to keep you engaged and enough variation to be replayed over and over but the insurgency is completely broken, they appear far to quickly and start overrunning your provinces, to contain them you pump out military groups which means you neglect the other stability projects, that issue in of itself is manageable what isn’t manageable is that even if your taking territory and rapidly defeating them everywhere you’ll still lose reputation and eventually lose which doesn’t make sense if your winning against the insurgency the population of the region wouldn’t hate you and nor would the command or politicians overseeing the operation, the amount of reputation lost doesn’t make sense and should be lowered as well as the insurgency spawn rate just to make it manageable and recoverable..Version: 1.4.5

Excellent work...Wish I could get this for my history classes!.Version: 1.1

Good game - well worth £2This game had an awesome nostalgic vibe; it kept most of Plague INC’s nice features. Very excited to see what comes out in the future however I still have allot to complete in the game thus far. (Update) - I agree with a lot of the other reviews regarding the repetitive gameplay that favours the military route too much. There also doesn’t seem much reasoning involved in picking certain initiatives, it would be good if that changed..Version: 1.2.2

Best game ever, BUTIt is amazing, the missions and so many ways to stabilise the region. It can be better if there are more levels because after you complete them all it would be boring but if the is another set of missions the fun would never end. I want a governor that can call airstrikes on any region he/she wants and a mode we’re Your the leader for the insurgents and try to stop the governor from stabilising the region.Version: 1.1

It’s Pretty NeatThis game is the combination between Plague inc. (which was developed by the same guys) and Civilisation. The thing is that the game takes place over custom made maps, so it isn’t as task labouring as ‘taking over the whole world’. This is basically the tiny things that could happen in Civ if the people in your towns and cities decided to overthrow you from your constant bad decision making, except it takes a lot less time. All and all... it’s pretty neat.Version: 1.2.2

Good Idea Which Is Well ExecutedI’ve been looking forward to this game for some time; after Plague Inc., I knew I wouldn’t be let down. And so I haven’t. The game is fun and, at times, tense, whilst trying to balance a very limited budget between Civilian, Government and Military factors, whilst dealing with an insurgency, corruption and support. Trying to maintain all of the factors is tough! As the game progresses, new maps and new leaders are unlocked, with each map providing a new challenge in terms of development or terrain. Sadly, there aren’t very many maps, and even replaying the maps with the newly unlocked characters gets boring after a while. Cheats can be bought which slightly prolongs the fun, but not for very long. Hopefully in the future, we may see some new maps added with DLC’s, or updates. Overall, this game is very fun, however very short. I would highly recommend this game to anyone who enjoys other strategy games, for example Risk, or Polytopia..Version: 1.0.2

Solid. It fun great and interesting. Still wrapping my head around it though, so that’s cool! It’s got depth.Version: 1.1

Really enjoy the gameIts a wonderful game :). It’s challenging ( really challenging ) at times but the different maps and leaders make it interesting to play. I would recommend this game to my pals but I would also warn them about how hard it can but. But I love it either way.Version: 1.4.7

Thought provokingI have a very nerdy take on this app. If you’re interested in American foreign policy and/or the history of places like Afghanistan (which this app is de facto based upon), then you’ll find this app very thought provoking. One key point is that, in some ways, Rebel Inc seems to think about itself as a game, offering the “player” rewards for achieving “victory.” But in practice it is what it says it is—a counterinsurgency simulator. There is not always a way to win the game, because there is not always a way to stabilize a war-torn region. In these reviews, I see a lot of people complaining that it is sometimes impossible to “win.” They’re right, but that’s only a complaint if you’re thinking of this app as a game and not a simulator. While there are some satisfying gameplay mechanics to be found here, the real value of this simulator is 1) the way it forces you to reckon with the real paradoxes of counterinsurgency strategy, and 2) the way it offers some thought experiments on what combinations of political, military, and civilian efforts might lead to counterinsurgency successes depending on the circumstances. Personally, I found this simulator very worthwhile, and I’m surprised someone had the guts to make it..Version: 1.3.3

Good, but *nearly* impossible to completeDon’t get me wrong, I love the devs, but this one needs some work. Brutal is impossibly hard to win on. I feel like it’s Mega Brutal from Plague Inc on steroids. The insurgency is too hard to fight, you can’t stabilize any areas before you run out of reputation, and that penalty is WAY too high. This is on the first map, by the way. I got all governors except the bonus by playing on normal on all maps, and I went back to the first to try brutal out. Perhaps my strategy needs some work, but I think this is a bit over the top. UPDATE: Since this review, I’ve gone back to the drawing board, and it is possible after many tries to win on Brutal. I’m only about three maps in, however. Took me about two weeks actively to figure out a strat. All in all, it is a wonderful game, and I do enjoy playing it to kill some time between classes, and while it could use some very fine polish, I believe it was worth the money for the hours of enjoyment I have had from it. Thank you Ndemic!.Version: 1.4.2

Love itThe type of game I’ve been waiting for! Great idea executed perfectly, the 3 difficultly setting makes it fun for new players and experienced ones. ^^^ That’s the automatic entry but I thought I’d leave it in because I highly agree!! I have been waiting for an amazing mobile game like this for years!! Genuinely great, no complaints and I hope to see it expanded on further!! ❤️.Version: 1.4.6

Great Game. A few suggestions. The game is fantastic, I’ve played through all maps and are trying to get the warlord now. I think a look at the insurgency in Afghanistan after the Soviet Invasion could be pertinent for the game. Helicopters played a huge role there and perhaps they could be somehow bought in? I think a vastly larger map relying on roads to fight the insurgency could be fun, with the roads being central to victory (perhaps IED mechanics etc). Anyway great game, looking forward to more content!.Version: 1.2.1

A good successor, and in its own rightI’ve loved the Plague game for many years, but got used to playing it on mega-brutal. This is far more complex and consequently takes a bit longer to get used to and understand. But the level of detail is quite phenomenal, so much so that you wonder if it isn’t commissioned by a government to game out COIN strategies. As a strategy game fan, this is great, albeit complex. As someone with a passing interest in COIN, this is really good and a great training tool. So skip the PowerPoint training sessions, buy your local coalition partners an iPad, and two weeks later you’ll have done all the capacity building you need to set the country on the right track..Version: 1.3.1

Fun Game! When I first bought this game, I was actually expecting to be able to play as the insurgents. (I know a little evil but i thought more a resistance group than a terrorist organization) I was a little disappointed when I got it, but I was soon blown away by how immersive this game was. When you first get the game, the insurgents will be rough to deal with. However, something I have learned: YOU DON’T HAVE TO DESTROY THE INSURGENTS TO COUNTER THEM. It is far better to have an insurgent escape than to allow them to take a zone and have your reputation reduced by 4 then destroy them 5 months later. Also: if you get to the second thing with the Economist, always leave ~12$ for when you need it for decisions. (i.e. garrisons, counter strikes, etc.) Overall, I love the game. It can be stressful and you may lose your temper at times (like i have) but I have beaten Southern Desert on Brutal first try. Get. This. Game..Version: 1.4.5

These games are fantasticAlong side Plague INC, this is the best time dwindling app a player could purchase. The details that elaborate the gameplay (characters and information) are fantastic and the progression of tasks is great. Massive fan of these games and I’m wholeheartedly looking forward to any and all add one. Only thing I’d like to recommend is a development enabling the continuation of the societal progression. So, we can witness a successful democratic election after the insurgents have agreed peace all while progressing the civilisation aspects..Version: 1.1

Amazing gameThis is possibly my favourite mobile game. It’s kind of a RTS game combined with a management game. You could put down the insurgents with force, but that may cause a decrease in reputation which could possibly cost the entire game. Overall, this is another amazing game from you guys. Good job..Version: 1.6.1

Pretty goodHaving played Plague Inc on and off for years, I have been playing this for one day and have already won all maps on Brutal. So it seems a little bit easy, and what others say about pushing rebels around the map does resonate, but still a good game overall and worthy of being the successor to Plague. I will try future updates..Version: 1.0.2

Great butLet me start straight away the game is great but once You’ve completed the first levels it’s kinda boring a good thing to add would be playing as the insurgence also being able to have an air support unit like a helicopter to hover over a zone for a set amount of time that doesn’t allow insurgents to leave that zone and kills them if they attempt to. I know they have air strikes but they are ineffective at most also when coalition units need to be redeployed instead of losing that unit forever you wait say a year and then you train them again but they would be a bit weaker so you don’t just run out of units and also why do international soldiers take longer to train but are weaker and only good at supporting coalitions unless you have the general and upgrade them. Also custom levels thanks hope you reply. EDIT: so also why can insurgents take over a zone if you have soldiers in it if this is a bug please fix but I get it’s hard to make games so there are gonna be bugs if it is one also I hope I’m not being to aggressive with my review.Version: 1.3.3

Super funI came from the first game made by these developers and it was great. When I found out that they had made a second game I bought it straight away I have only played a couple of games and I've found an incredible strategy game about preventing a rebellion. Love the game.Version: 1.2.2

Great gameI enjoyed the challenge with Plague inc. so I thought I’d give Rebel inc. a go and it does not disappoint!.Version: 1.3.3

Great game, good depthSurprisingly deep tactical game, great for when away from the house in commute or flights.Version: 1.0.2

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING(My opinion)This game is amazing I’m giving it a 4/5 stars because easy mode seems like it’s hard I’m just new to the game I know you have to play strategically but new people need it a little easier just saying also I would like a kind of little mini game when your group if fighting the others that would be awesome. The one thing it lacks I in are things to do fight, make your civilians happy, make peace, watch... that’s it but it’s a good game to not only pass thane time to also make “the time” it’s a good game. 99% would recommend this game. (One more thing) I don’t know how or why but my game crashes a lot I don’t know if it’s just me or what :/ P.s I know you guys don’t like hate comments but this is a good one I really enjoyed your game and hope I can enjoy more further :D have a Beautiful day!.Version: 1.3.3

Governing MasterpieceThis game is awesome! I expected it to just be a last minute cash grab by the developers, but I couldn’t be more wrong. I can tell they put their heart and soul in this game, just like they did Plague Inc. In fact, I could very well say that this is even better than its predecessor! Not only are you tasked with several different decisions to form your government at the start, but you are presented with timed actions that are sometimes minor, but in cases like dealing with the insurgency, the choice you make is crucial. As a governor you can really feel how much pressure is on you, as your actions are weighed heavily and can easily disrupt your once stable society. I can say without a doubt that this game is one of the most addictive and entertaining that I have ever played. I hope this review is able to help people who are debating whether or not to purchase this game, as well as the creators, who are working so hard to make their creation a fantastic experience. I want the developers, Ndemic Creations, to know that their work was certainly not in vain, as I am sure that I am not the only one who loves their work..Version: 1.4.3

GoodIt’s the second game on the App Store I’ve ever brought with money, I don’t have anything against iOS gaming, it’s just the lack of time I have. Turns out it’s pretty good. The type of game you can spend hours on. Lots of opportunities to win or lose, making it challenging yet fun. Nice..Version: 1.2.2

A nice idea.. not perfectReally enjoyed the premise of this game. These guys did a great job with Plague, Inc. and have got another good game going here. This time around is more like fighting off the infection rather than causing it. Really enjoyed the various mechanics of the campaign to improve the board, make my soldiers better, and reduce insurgents. Felt like there was a meaningful balance between trying to make improvements while limiting outside influences and corruption. There are elements that feel in place just to slow progress that I felt could be improved. It would be nice to have more focus on intelligence in the campaign as ways to reduce insurgency movements. This was my biggest complaint (and not that bad, more of just a gripe). If there was a way to predict and then counter insurgents movements to better my combat that would make the game better. Also, wish I had options for some sort of special operations or covert action force to go into an insurgent held area to somehow reduce their impact or remove their leadership to slow their progress when I’ve got main forces committed elsewhere. And it would be nice to select where I send airstrikes rather than just wherever insurgents are. This would give better control over potential civilian losses..Version: 1.0.2

I like the idea but the game is bad 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻I like the idea but this game cheats. The insurgents are impossible to kill and they always keep fleeing to different areas. It’s Just so ANNOYING! I have played this game ten times since I’ve downloaded it yesterday and 9/10 I’ve lost. It’s really upsetting. This game is high quality and I trust the company, but this game is so hard and bad I wish I could give NEGATIVE STARS. It’s just really bad. Can you please fix this game. It’s like the tuck rule it’s a little cool but at the same time useless and unnecessary. I don’t even want to put the rest of my troubles with this game in the review, but this app is very very hard, stupid and is actually pretty useless. I would rather be in that world getting killed by the air strikes than being the one who causes those air strikes. I’ve gotten better things at the dollar store for three dollars..Version: 1.2.2

Pretty goodNormal difficulty seems way too hard, but I just started..Version: 1.3.3

Great GameSeriously It Was Amazing To Play Even The First Level Was Challenging But It Was Easy To See Where I Went Wrong And Fix Those Mistakes.Version: 1.4.7

Great game and sequel? , surprisingly little need for improvement with how early on the game is.Only played on casual so far and when it asked me whether I would rate, I went straight to the AppStore to rate it , I don’t usually rate games. really good idea of stabilising an economy, less of a negative goal, would like it if you can make more permanent soldier camps. Another thing that may increase game experience is a way of trading with either insurgents or the rest of the world to boosts your funds. trade deals may cause military help, stabilisation /economy help or may boost chances of peace. This is just my thoughts of the game but because of how early on it is I’m rating 5 star because I know there’s more to come of this game.Version: 1.0.1

Fire🔥.Version: 1.6.1

Great gameIt’s fun, challenging at times and I see no way to improve apart from adding an online if possible, like one person is insurgents and other is person stabilising region. Great game.Version: 1.0.2

Must playGreat game. Better than some Triple A releases. Only gripe I have is the lack of a mode to play as the terrorists.Version: 1.3.3

Pretty goodIt’s pretty good. It’s kinda complex at times but I like that sorta thing.Version: 1.7.0

Great gameI only play brutal and it’s great! Win some, lose some. Always a challenge. Would like more scenarios to open up..Version: 1.4.6

It’s great just not for everyoneThere are no apparent problems with the game, it’s incredibly good, but I found myself struggling. I was playing on casual. The insurgents just wouldn’t go away. They started appearing out of nowhere. On the other side of the map attacking cities. No matter how much I tried they would keep coming. They would keep attacking even though we had peace. I got angry and deleted the game. I wrote this review to inform people that it isn’t for everyone. It was a waste of $2.99 for me. I don’t want others to do the same..Version: 1.0.2

Unique and brilliantI don’t normally review games but but this one is just brilliant, I’ve not played anything like it really and I’ve had a ball with it, it all makes sense, and it’s similar to plague but different to the point it doesn’t feel the same, all in all, thoroughly enjoyed and for £2 I recommend, especially given the extra content that this developer normally provides over a timeline..Version: 1.4.3

Fun gameThe many things you have to manage makes it feel like a more I. Depth The Dictator game but actually seeing your success and failures on a map. A cool idea is more types of units. If you get enough reputation more and more blue soldiers (blue soldiers are better but not native in the city so the occupied do not like them, and green ones are native there and receive much less hate from the occupied) to come. For the insurgence they should get black soldiers (there is a chance that outside countries can help the insurgence but it only makes them harder) that are more elite and would spawn on the map. A problem is a lack of role play. If I want to play as an authoritarianship I should be able to march soldiers faster which will hurt reputation as well as having faster national soldier training times and more of them too. To deal with that you could threaten journalists to lie about you or occupy urban areas to stop corruption..Version: 1.2

RadCool game. Easy to catch on and as hard as you want to make it. Great time passer. Worth the couple bucks..Version: 1.6.0

Another great strategic gameThere are some obvious Plague inc vibes when you play as it has the same sort of upgrade system and layout but it has its unique gameplay and ideas that I think work really well and if you are a Plague inc fan, this may also be a game you will enjoy..Version: 1.3.3

Great GameNot as luck based as one might think. There is an optimal strategy that works every time and the advisors add more variety to kink things a little differently. For all those out there who think brutal is impossible or difficult. You’re wrong. You need to know how the game works. Once you figure out how to prevent stability loss it becomes a balancing act between military, corruption, and reputation gain luck. Believe me when I say it’s actually pretty consistently easy on every map. Coming from someone who beat all the maps on brutal to unlock all special governs, maps, and cheats legit, I struggled for a very long time just tying to beat the first map but once I finally did I realized what needed to be done and I steamrolled every other map with slight optimizations to the strategy for each governs pros and cons. The amount of times I screwed up the early game and dropped down to below 20 rep just barely keeping up with the loss is uncountable but I had the situation under complete control..Version: 1.4.2

Never experienced something quite like itI have never played plague inc but this game has sparked an interest, it’s challenging but in a fun way with many sides to it and is unique in its play style and other than plague inc, there is nothing like Rebel inc that I have ever seen. Well done developer!.Version: 1.2

Very well thought out gameLots of fun!.Version: 1.4.5

Overall great gameI have been a huge fan of Plague inc. for years and for a new game to come out from this studio I was overjoyed. The mechanics in this game are definitely more difficult to grasp but overall help to make it more engaging. The price is small fries compared to the hours of fun you’ll have playing this game! Would recommend to anyone looking to kill 10 minutes ^_^.Version: 1.3.0

Good but not perfectVery fun but the balance between improving support level and fighting off insurgents favours the military side way to much, to the point that most games feel pretty similar. Perhaps I need to improve my strategy but it seems that carefully selecting initiatives to fund doesn’t provide much of an advantage over selecting a few randomly. Annoyingly, the game continues to show me tips every time I play, despite ‘show tips’ being off in the settings. Also, the new advisors system seems useful but no information is given on how to obtain new advisors. Is one awarded randomly at the end of each game? Are there special objectives that must be completed? All in all, it’s a pretty good game with a few minor flaws. Definitely worth picking up if you enjoyed Plague Inc..Version: 1.2.2

Really fun! This game makes you feel like a political leader! The gameplay is complex, engaging, but still providing a great challenge..Version: 1.3.3

Fun engaging game, not without flaws.Completed every map on normal, and am now trying to do the same on brutal difficulty. While it could be something I’m not seeing, the reputation system seems to be broken on brutal difficulty. You either focus on suppressing insurgents and you’ll lose as they slowly drain at your rep (which you won’t get back as districts won’t turn to your side fast enough), or you’ll focus on civil projects and they will simply take too much ground. It’s seems to fall on RnG to hope the AI controlled insurgents make a bad play. Despite this I keep coming back. I just want to know if I’m right or just need to git gud..Version: 1.3.3

One of the best strategy gamesThis game is one of the best and one I consistently come back to when I’m bored. It can get repetitive if you play it on easier difficulties however brutal is a game changer as it allows you to fully respect what the different governors uniquely provide. Many strategies can be developed and I always strive to get achievements. I think a great addition could be to add train lines on a new map which could assist both you and the insurgents in moving troops and rolling out new initiatives. Overall amazing game.Version: 1.4.5

Challenging & Well Thought Out GameThis game is very well put together and very strong. I have previously been a fan of their games but I believe I may have found a new favorite. This game forces you to think and strategize in a way that most mobile games do not. The layout and controls are intuitive and easy to learn with minimal time. The graphics are clear and easy to understand. There are options for every type of player from the serious competitor to the casual time passer. My biggest issue is that I need to figure out what strategies work and which ones do not! Its been a lot of trial and error but that only makes me want to try harder. I’m a hard core gamer (PS4, PC, & mobile) and I haven’t found any iOS games in the last several months that warranted playing but this has definitely changed my mind. I hope they will continue to create outstanding games for all to enjoy. Great work!.Version: 1.4.6

Huge potentialThis is a great game and is definitely worth 2 dollars, I’d even pay 7 for this. This game could be better like if you could combine plague inc and this it would amazing. See you could create your own disease but instead of trying to infest the whole WOLRD you just try to do it to help stop the enemies, or whatever their called. Another thing they could add is a bigger map. I know they have different maps but I’d like it if each one was a bit bigger. And one last thing is a wish you could customize how many troops you could put in one area in stead of just one group. I was trying to fight off a group but my team was losing and I kept trying to put more troops in but I was only able to put in one. But overall it really is a great game. It’s addicting, I love the strategy yet not completely based off strategy which I also like. The graphics are amazing and perfectly my style, which is not trying to be crazy realistic but still pretty good. So great game would recommend it keep making games like this and I’ll keep buying them, and it could be even better though and that’s what I am exited about. Peace.Version: 1.1

Great, but needs some fixing.I have been playing this game for a little while now, and was really impressed with it. It’s complex, fun and satisfying to play. I haven’t been able to stop. But I have noticed a couple of small things. First of all, game is a bit vague in explaining how to increase reputation throughout the game. Especially with such a steep learning curve (my second point), there is no sure fire way to help increase your reputation. There’s nothing to buy that really helps. It seems that you have to be extremely forward thinking early on to increase it as much as you can before losing about half by the end of the game. And this is made worse by the fact the the difficult jump from casual to normal mode is far too high.i can only imaging what brutal is like. The learning curve should be a lot steeper in my opinion. Any way, apart from that, this game is really fun, and I highly recommended this game. Thanks James!.Version: 1.4.7

InterestingThis feels like Plague Inc. but kind of reversed, the time-dependant aspect and interesting pop ups make a good game.Version: 1.3.3

Stop procrastinating and buy it!!!We all find it easy to criticise governments for the decisions they make from an armchair but try doing it yourself with this simulation. I’m not saying what governments do is perfect and neither is what you will do in this game. Buy it and try it for yourself. It is very well thought out and will no doubt only improve with updates in the future. Props to the developer..Version: 1.1

Love itI’ve played 2 games. Easy enough to pick up as a casual gamer but it looks complex enough to keep me interested for some time. I also feel like I’m learning stuff. Developer suggestion: Provide real world facts within the game if the game truely is simulating this kind of real world scenario. I can’t be the only person that loves to learn about the world. Who knows you might just be help world peace by educating the masses!.Version: 1.2.2

So goodI really enjoyed my first round playing this game, it is a massive amount of fun. The only thing the devs could add is a option for helicopters to act like a offensive drone..Version: 1.4.6

Good so far, could be greatOnly had the game for two days so far. In that time, I have developed a crush on this app. It’s fun, there is no doubt about it. If you liked Plague Inc, then you will be easily seduced by this game. I plan to update my review down the road, but so far I recommend it. The only cumbersome problem I have right now is the unlocking of the advisors. I’m not sure what they actually do once unlocked. They don’t *seem* to have any effect on the game, but perhaps I just have not noticed it yet. I am struggling with the hardest play mode. It seems I have tried every combination and can’t seem to win. Hopefully I will be able to master it, however, right now it just makes me crazy. Anyway, definitely worth a couple of bucks to purchase. My only real complaint so far is I don’t like buying an app and then being asked to buy additional add-ons later. Thanks for the new game!.Version: 1.2.1

Great Game, Just a few pointsThis is a really fun and clever game, well worth the money. However, as others said, it’s not got many maps so I found I had completed it quickly. Another point is that I think the option to delay peace talks with insurgents should be removed after a few times because it should become a choice of if you want to talk with them or if you want to help them gain momentum. Constantly delaying it for me allowed myself time to completely stabilise the region without any peace talks fairly quickly..Version: 1.1

Amazing game it’s worth the moneyFrom the creators of plague inc I wasn’t surprised how good it is, amazing work creators :).Version: 1.7.0

A good mobile gameA nice blend of management and strategy managing policies and watching them roll out can be pretty satisfying. The price seems very fair considering you actually get a full game with no adverts and what purchases you can make seem to be cheats or the ability to skip content which is down to the player. The combat is a nice addition to the plague inc style complimenting the management nicely. The troops can also be upgraded and have some fun extras such as helping with construction etc once upgraded. Meaning their position can be more than just holding the line..Version: 1.0.2

AwesomeA lot of fun Just my game.Version: 1.6.0

I like it a lotIt’s great good job with this new game nedemic creations I also like the Easter egg on the overview initiative screen where you can see in the top left corner at some point in the game a red shipping crate with the biohazard symbol which is from plague inc which is one of your other games 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.Version: 1.4.2

Even better than Plague inc!Definitely worth every cent! Even if it cost more I would buy it. It is a bit more complicated than the other games but it is relatively easy to grasp the rules. This game is what I’ve been looking for!.Version: 1.1

Good overallThe game is quite fun, and will keep you thoroughly engaged and wanting to play more. However, I do have a problem with the “brutal” difficulty setting, and that is consistency. From what I’ve gathered, the way this setting makes the game harder is essentially throwing up a coin toss to determine if you’ll win or not. This is coming from someone who’s won brutal difficulty with every governor on nearly every map, the frustration and inconsistency makes the game less fun, not more challenging. You can go through the same steps, buy the same initiatives in the same pattern, and it will have different outcomes each time in brutal difficulty. It begins to feel as if you go into a brutal game with your outcome already predetermined for you. Sometimes you’ll stabilize regions midway through 2003, sometimes you’ll somehow have managed to lose the game with no stabilized regions and, no exaggeration, the entire map covered and surprise attacks every fifteen seconds by insurgents by 2005. Both these times, I did the exact same strategy, but my input had little effect on the game. Eh, it’s still a good game. It just frustrates me with the seemingly futile and helpless games it thrusts me into, and that your input sometimes doesn’t even matter..Version: 1.3.3

Brutal difficulty might need tweaking. This was a fun game for a while but I’ve decided to move on after getting stuck on beating Brutal difficulty maps. At that level, the game feels more like a mathematical model with only one true solution that I’ve not been able to discover (other than hoping for lucky RNG on insurgent movements). I would suggest reducing the difficulty slightly to allow less optimal choices of initiatives to allow lead to victory and then make time to victory, reputation at end game etc. a bigger focus..Version: 1.0.2

Best mobile game I’ve ever playedI cannot stress enough how brilliant this game is, every aspect is well thought out, giving you multiple options each time you play, the tutorial is helpful enough to get you started but thankfully doesn’t tell you how to win the game. I will definitely be on the lookout for more games from this developer..Version: 1.4.6

Needs more contentIt’s an incredible idea but I’d like a slower approach the combat takes allot of managing and causes you to ignore all other aspects I’d like to see better combat in assigning troops to fight over an area and enemy units to retreat to enemy territory not to the area I have had blocked off also give us control of air strikes drone strikes ect ect so we can deploy them when we see fit it’s a brilliant game but I feel the combat needs to be slower better managed and better balanced but that’s just my take apart from that I understand it’s still in development so no hate from me it’s an awesome game.Version: 1.0.2

NoiceThis game is a lot of fun. Unfortunately there needs to be a balance between each aspect of each part. You cannot focus on heavily gaining military advantage, you need to balance the reputation of yourself by support from the public, gain military advantage while keeping your combat abilities somewhat high and keeping your civilian’s support (you mostly use a foreign military which the public doesn’t like) and try to find a negotiation with the insurgents while keeping your corruption down and reputation strong. Every new aspect you provide to gain public support adds corruption to your government as your underlings gain money and bribe others to the cause, so you need to focus on “anti-corruption” deals. The basic rule of it is to find a strategy that is as balanced as you can make it. The game is fun, but extremely difficult and is meant for the patient and strategic thinker..Version: 1.2.2

👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻This game includes literally everything I could think of and more. The weeks that must've gone into planning this, much less coding this must've been countless. The only thing is that after a few minutes of playing, the game crashes. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE FIX THE CRASHES. I really want to play this properly because it looks awesome, but can't. Pleas fix the crashes 🙏🏻 seriously because we're only able to play it for maybe 40 seconds at a time..Version: 1.2.2

We do not negotiate with insurgents.Very addictive and a few avenues to take depending on your political military leanings. My advice? Surround them. Antagonise them. Bomb them into submission and let them know....we do not negotiate. I must say, some choices I had to make had me sat running every possible outcome through my mind before I decided what choice to make. Also, for those voicing their frustration at the insurgents running to different areas all of time, I get it's frustrating but it’s also realistic..Version: 1.4.6

FinallyA strategic game that feels like I’m actually playing a fun game!.Version: 1.6.1

Wow, nice!I love this game... almost perfect...I’m sure it one day will be. it covers many aspects that I look for in a game and it is interesting. I would love to see a wider variety of political choices to make as you progress through a game. The game can get repetitive... so I think a variety of missions would be great, I would also like so see that you could choose which areas to air strike, build garrisons etc rather than it being random. I think the option to have more types of soldiers, helicopters, tanks etc would also be welcome... but with that said, the game is awesome and well worth the price tag. Can’t wait to see future updates..Version: 1.2.2

Very fun game and lots of replayThis game is not complicated but not simple. You balance resources as best as you can, not always pleasing everyone. There are free updates and lots of replay..Version: 1.7.2

Difficult yet funHaving just beat the first map on normal (after way too many tries). Im finding the game to be more difficult then i expacted which has me wanting to beat it even more. Cant wait to see if i put as many hours into this as i did plague inc..Version: 1.2.2

Fantastic gameChallenging, dripping with realism, absolute gem. Just as addictive as Plague Inc..Version: 1.6.0

Nice game!Great game to pass the time during lockdown.Version: 1.4.7

Another great game and a worthy successor to Plague IncYou only to have start playing this to realise this is made by the same crowd but although it follows in the footsteps of plague inc it is not just a rehash of that game where they have replaced virus with insurgents. It is clearly a well thought out game that unfolds in familiar but different ways with the same pacing that everyone loved from plague inc. as the title suggests, money well spent and a great stand alone game in its own right..Version: 1.0.2

To JamesYou have made an incredibly fantastic game that not only ropes you in but keeps you seated. Funny thing is I’m currently sitting on my toilet in the midst of a 6 hour blackout but I’m doing just fine thanks to this gem. You have the ability and capability do develop this game and future titles similar to it, I hope you go down that Pathan wish you all the success. Now for the criticism... In future titles, if you could have more animation for firefights and other ambient animations that would put the cherry on the cake. For $3 you can’t go wrong here, get in while it’s hot. Thanks James.Version: 1.0.2

Great gamePrefer it to plague inc, great mechanics, fun game, You don’t need to buy any IAP’s either!.Version: 1.0.2

GoodMe good, rebels bad.Version: 1.6.1

Great Little Boredom Killer! They’ve done it again! Another awesome strategy game from the boys and girls at Ndemic. The Music sets the mood straight away, perfect theme for the Arabian tales you are about to encounter. Obviously based on the realism of today’s Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria and Libya, this game gives you the task of rebuilding a once great (fictional) nation that has recently been through the mill a bit. The game play and mechanics although similar to their previous endeavour, Plague Inc, do more than enough to satisfy. They are both innovative and simple. But the game is challenging, at least I found that. It took me the tutorial, and about 5 on the lowest of 3 difficulties to actual won a game. But when you do win, the fact that do conquer that demon is a major ego boost. The game is punishing, but very fair. The perfect game for those long train journeys... and bus journeys... hell even car journeys... but wouldn’t recommend the later whilst driving..Version: 1.2.2

Easy to learn, fun to playInstructions are clear and easy to pick up. In-game prompts make it easier to run the game.Version: 1.6.0

GOTY 2018Rebel Inc is a phenomenal game, for its exploration of the complexities and nuances of political decisions, management of infrastructure, all while conducting a civil war. There is a lot going on, but it never feels overwhelming thank to an intuitive interface, and an integrated tutorial system that highlights mechanics with well timed prompts during gameplay. On top of being a great game, Rebel Inc. allows the player a more involved and realistic insight into the realities faced by many government bodies in the world today. Many of these third world countries, especially those with war-devastated infrastructure find themselves in a tight position between first world powers with conflicting interests, the exploitation from first world industrial powers with interest in raw materials, and the crippling consequences that come with failed loans from the World Bank. I hope that, as the game expands, that it will delve further into these complex issues. With the additions made in the latest update, I see that beginning to happen already. Thank you James and the Ndemic Creations Team, you have produced a phenomenal gaming experience..Version: 1.1

Amazing game! This game is definitely recommended to people of all ages. A fair bit to get the hang of but as you get used to it, the game gets better in my eyes.Version: 1.3.3

One of the best strategy games on the iPadFinally beat all the standard maps on brutal and enjoyed every minute of it. Now trying to get through the bonus maps. This is even better than Plague Inc. Looking forward to more maps soon!.Version: 1.6.0

So much funThis is even more fun than using a virus to kill the world. Very challenging and enjoyable. Can’t wait for more maps!.Version: 1.3.3

The Ndemic brand of Simulation is becoming as engaging as a Paradox grand strategyFirst it was a create your own pathogen apocalypse channeling gameplay from both Lemmings and Lamers as you walked a fine line for sake of maintaining equilibrium whilst closing in on your goal. You’ve done it again, bringing an addictive formula of balancing chaos to further a goal - I’ve heard of the Paradox grand strategy, but Ndemic simulation is shaping up to just as addictive!.Version: 1.3.3

An excellent game.Rarely have I come across a game so well suited to the mobile platform. I love that it is a very tactical, strategic game and has great replayability. This game follows my long-held belief that if you just make a good game, people will buy it. I do hope this game sells well. It comes with my highest recommendation. Side note: I love the in-app purchase model of this game. It has an integrity not often seen in mobile gaming. Thank you James & co for making such a wonderful game..Version: 1.0.2

Great gameI normally couldn’t be bothered to rate games as they are usually disappointing but this is fantastic..Version: 1.2

AmazingWish there was a 6 star for this game! The previous reviews really arent kidding!.Version: 1.2.2

Very very good funGreat fun to have at your fingertips. Keeps you on edge with the random events and makes you think strategically all the time. Only issue is the in app purchases are very expensive, but that is countered by the fact that you don’t have to pay for them to keep enjoying the game. 9/10 :).Version: 1.6.0

Great quick timesink in the toiletReally gets you thinking. Worth the price!.Version: 1.2.2

Great gameplay - butI like games, but I dislike games that make me play on certain difficulties to unlock more than one level. If I want to play casual - I can never proceed? This is an inherently bad progression system..Version: 1.3.3

ChallengingJust as you start to move forward the enemy rises.Version: 1.7.2

Rebel inc. This is a really fun strategy type game.Version: 1.6.0

Great follow upI enjoyed Plague when it came out. This is a worthy successor. Just beat the intro scenario after 4 attempts on easiest level. The game will take sometime to master! Great topic too - relevant for our times..Version: 1.1

Amazing game from the creators of Plauge IncGreat strategy and so much depth. Would really recommend picking this up perfect for the morning commute or a long flight..Version: 1.0.2

Amazing gameVery challenging as well.Version: 1.6.0

Love this GameIf you like strategy and civilization rpg games, this is worth every penny. Games run about 30 minutes (faster if you lose), and I am engrossed for every last one of those minutes. It’s one of the few iPhone games I own where I am literally on the edge of my seat while playing. Gameplay involves balancing spending funds on policies that benefit civilians while guarding against inflation, corruption and constant pressure from insurgent militia. The game is partially strategic spending/planning and partially organizing soldiers on the regional map to quell insurgents. Poor choices, excessive corruption/inflation or becoming overrun by insurgents reduce your reputation. You win when the entire region is stabilized before your reputation hits zero. This is a difficult game and, at any moment, the region can spiral out of control. I love that I am challenged by the tradeoffs every minute I play and can tell the devs put a lot of thought into the gameplay. It feels very real! Bonus points for in game purchases that are also 100% unlock-able by completing goals in game..Version: 1.4.7

Interesting conceptExecuted in a simple and enjoyable style.Version: 1.2.2

Enjoyably difficult, please make a medieval one...Big fan of Plague Inc. and was surprised at how different this game is in comparison. Similar yet, different enough to feel fresh and not like a copy pasta that so many other games do these days. It’s absurdly difficult though and my manhood won’t allow me to drop the difficulty. So if you do get this one, and I recommend you do, be ready to be kept busy while you’re playing. You’ll have to learn how to balance your three investment trees or you won’t get anywhere. Plus the rebels keep you fairly busy when they show up and ignoring them just makes things really bad. You should also be made aware that, while other complain about how the game makes them feel obligated to purchase the advisors for unlock, it isn’t necessary. You can earn them, it just takes time and maybe a few minutes of banging your head into a wall. It’s a good way to help support the devs if you do decide to buy into them though, so it’s really a win win. You get your advisors and the dev gets what they need to keep developing. Now, please make something medieval....I really want to see the spin you guys can put on it like you have with PI and RI. I think that’d be awesome to see from you guys. Of course do what the market demands. Best of luck in your future endeavors!.Version: 1.5.0

Another standalone success! When I studied game design this was the type of game I dreamed of making. Unfortunately now I work a real job and had to give up on my dreams of making the next command and conquer, but these guys do a fantastic job of filling the strategy void. Why are you still reading this? BUY IT NOW!!!!.Version: 1.2.2

SweeetGot right into it. Super Funtime awesome express.Version: 1.6.0

Great Game!I really love the game for the strategy and tactful decisions you must make in order to stabilize a specific region. The game can get a bit challenging but I’ve pretty much been able to unlock every map and character by just constantly playing the game itself. I think a really cool future update would be to combine plague inc. like features to the game with the “Corona virus” scare going on. Perhaps you could have a mode or map focus more on a epidemic situation? Trying to locate infected individuals and intake patients to hospitals, all while trying to find a cure to the disease all while trying to protect your medical teams and hospitals from insurgents who are skeptical of your presence? Perhaps you could even do two player? Somebody controlling the disease or the insurgents? Please read this devs... I would pay money for another game like that!! TAKE MY MONEY!! P.S. good game.Version: 1.4.6

I love it!I really like it! You should do like you did with plague inc.: make a mac version!.Version: 1.7.0

Overall very fun, but some issues that need resolving. This game is amazing. I am by no means a long-term player, having played for about a week, but so far it has been immensely fun. However, the system for which you acquire maps is, putting it simply, inneficient. I am trying to unlock map 3, but being forced to use my newly acquired character (I've forgotten the name/term - the one where you start with a yearly budget) and subsequently being forced to adjust to a new play style and strategy is making it incredibly hard to progress. If I could use the Civil Servant to get map 3, I would feel much more motivated to play the game as progress would be faster and, therefore, more satisfying. Other than that, great game and good job on a worthy successor to Plague Inc.!.Version: 1.3.3

AwesomenessThis game is awesome because they took there old game kept the format (to some extent) and made it greater. I love this game because everything that happens for most of the game is determined in the first 3 minutes because most upgrades take time to be used (which they should) and the in depth timing strategy you have to use throughout the rest of the game. Love the maps and love that the governors are radically different from each other so each game takes different strategy. There is really one thing I don’t like about the game it’s that when you put troops in a zone if you haven’t scouted that zone already your troops wont help neighboring zones fight which is kind of anoying. Some suggestions for future updates (although I know you already have great ones planned) it would be cool if we could play as the underpowered rebels and try to either get the best peace deal possible or just take over. And it would be neat to see more types of military troops maybe like dogs that sniff out and tell you where the next zone to be attacked is or some riot control that contain insergunts until you can send in real troops to wipe em out. Thanks for another great game please keep up the awesome work!.Version: 1.0.2

I Am Diggin It.I've been playing this game for many months now and I like it quite a bit. I'm reading the negative reviews and the things that are being complained about are actually the reasons why I like the game so much. It's not a run-of-the-mill strategy game, not a war game, not a building game. It is exactly what it should be, representing the struggle of trying to stabilize a region after it has been devastated. People are complaining saying "If you invest in the military you can't pay for civilian improvements! If you pay off corruption, you can't afford to fight off the insurgents!" To all these things, I say, yes that's how it is! That's what it's like, trying to stabilize a region. It's reality. That's what makes it uniquely challenging. It isn't impossible, it's just difficult to balance priorities. Every move has to be done carefully, every dollar has to be spent wisely. There's a unique strategy to this game, and it requires learning a sense of balance in order to win. I really dig it. I gave it 4 stars before because it didn’t have much content, but now I’m giving it 5 stars because new maps and governors are being added! Thanks, developers!.Version: 1.3.3

Great game but I hate the bankerI love this game. It was one of the best $3 I’ve spent. But the banker is way to underpowered I just can’t pass that level. Starts off with really low cash but seems like I have to spend more on government options as well. Everything else is great though. The economist was annoying to do but that was before the buff.Version: 1.0.2

Well doneI was a big plague player I finished it all in all modes and then bought the extras and played them also, I bought this game as soon as I saw you had made it and I must say good job in creating this game the same concept but modern/industrial era style warfare zone capturing I love it but it’s missing one thing for me which I also though plague could of had more animations eg. when they want a museum or new building and you accept a new little building is added on that zone but this is just one example I have so many thank you for creating a really fun and strategising game I love it 4/5 needs more animations 😍.Version: 1.3.3

Cool conseptThis game is very interesting to play. Most of the time i find it very difficult to win but other than that it feels very productive. Highly recommend playing..Version: 1.3.3

Wonderful Game to RelaxI played this new game which is challenging but relaxing on IPad..Version: 1.6.0

Satisfying and funAfter playing my first game of Rebel Inc I found it to be more engaging than I was expecting. Unlike Plague Inc, which I am a long time fan of, where there are times you are just waiting for things to happen, there was always something to keep your focus on the game which kept it enjoyable. Much like Plague Inc, it’s really satisfying to see your progress spread throughout the regions..Version: 1.3.3

Difficult, Yet RewardingRebel Inc is undoubtedly more difficult than its predecessor, Plague Inc. There are more things to keep track of, and more things you must control to prevent your Reputation from reaching zero. However, the feeling you get when you beat a level is incredible. Few games offer such a wonderful strategic challenge. Can’t wait to see what they do with it in the future!.Version: 1.2.2

WonderfulOne of the most strategic games I’ve ever played.Version: 1.6.1

MerveilleuxDes heures de divertissement!.Version: 1.6.0

Great Value, Great Strategic GameplayI don’t do many reviews, but am happy to take a few moments to review this game. It’s a great value for its cost and can keep you trying at it for hours if you like. And since it’s not dependent on multiplayer and can be paused as you have interruptions, it’s actually well designed for mobile use. The graphics are clean and simple, it’s about the strategy not the battles after all. There are several maps (with more being added it seems over time) and several leaders that helps you get some decent replay value. My biggest complaint with this game is that at the highest difficulty it’s impossible to know (in my opinion) how to proceed. I had to look at strategies and videos online. Not a big deal but I’d prefer an in-game guide that shows me some numbers or strategies so I’d be more likely to figure it out myself. But overall, very happy with this purchase and the designer should be praised, absolutely..Version: 1.3.3

Great game.I like the game, it is great. I support the development of it. But also, what I feel that has occurred quite often in the game is the Rebels win due to the population they control, but the thing is they don’t control a large one. I just lost a game on Normal because the insurgent controlled a high population zone, except most of the zones were either rural or remote?.Version: 1.2.2

Great Game - One FlawThis game is very well put together and great fun to play, however there’s a small flaw that unfortunately makes it next to impossible to control insurgents; their ability to retreat to adjacent zones that soldiers have been moved from to combat them. I appreciate that it may be technically possible for them to do this, but it makes forming a front against insurgent held territory extremely difficult, something that is required in order to prevent excessive military spending and the resultant collapse in stability due to lack of civilian initiative funding. I find a lot of my games on brutal difficulty end in defeat as a result of this, effectively rendering any strategic effort totally pointless and encouraging me to not bother playing the game as much. If the likelihood of this mechanic occurring could be reduced somewhat it would make the game a lot more fun to play..Version: 1.3.3

Awesome Game!!!Plague still my fav all time iPhone game but Rebel still awesome :).Version: 1.5.0

Exactly what I neededFor a long time now I have been looking for a game in which I control a country and defend it. This game has that. But that is definitely not the best part, this game is beautiful developed and forces you to really use your mind and evaluate situations because if you don’t your stuffed. Not only is that it’s realistic, stuff like that is really happening around the world, I love it how the game adds real problems which are surrounding third world countries. This game has such I high potential and I’m very impressed. Thanks, fan out.Version: 1.0.2

Good gameEnjoyable game recommend playing.Version: 1.7.0

Fascinating So Far...As a huge fan of Plague, Inc, I was excited to investigate this new application and, after only one game, I have not been disappointed. Rebel Inc. presents a thoughtfully complex yet enjoyably challenging game that explores what, today, is an all-too-relevant subject almost universally ignored by other games involving strategy and warfare: the unavoidable yet critical transition state between war and peace. I don’t want to spoil the experience for those who have not yet played it, and so will explain the 4/5 star rating only generally: While there’s no practical way to “game” all of the variables in play during real-world efforts to stabilize war-torn regions around the globe, I’m hoping that with continued play and more complicated scenarios there will be a commensurate increase in the game’s sophistication - recognition, for example, that insurgency is sometimes driven by suffering and misunderstanding equivalent in magnitude to that experienced by indigenous populations. I’ll be back to amend my review accordingly after a few more weeks (or, maybe... months) of play (I would have bought it sooner but I’m ridiculously busy right now). At this point, however, Rebel Inc is by all appearances a worthy successor to its fluctuant, pustulous, and wildly entertaining predecessor..Version: 1.3.3

My thoughts on the gameFirst thing I noticed is that there were many similar features to Plauge Inc, the developers other game, which I much enjoyed considers the ease of understanding the controls of Plauge Inc. The newer features such as the Insurgent control and Reputation are interesting and not too hard to understand once you’ve gotten through the tutorial or read the manual. Overall I really enjoyed my first few games and will continue to play in the future. Brilliant job.Version: 1.4.7

Only 4 star bcs i know it will be better in timeGreat and fun strategy game. Needs a few tweaks to make it perfect A few notes: 1/Reputation decreases too fast to effectively play in brutal scenarios. Either reputation loss due to insurgent activity should be less or, better yet, civil counter measures should be made more effective. As it stands, it’s more of a military game with a countdown timer. I’d love to see the civil/government aspect made more important. 2/most of the governors are not very useful compared to general and its “train the military from the start”. I don't see how to beat the game in normal diff in any other gov than general. Perhaps you should consider increasing the specific bonuses to have a more balanced selection. 3/it takes so much time to completely secure an individual region. Without the rep gain from securing the regions earlier, the game becomes unfairly hard and makes me lose even with a complete military dominance and no occupied terrain. 4/ the game needs bigger pool of “random events” to happen during the game otherwise you keep dealing with the same problems on every time you play the game which, in turn, decreases the re-playability..Version: 1.2.2

Great game with few flaws and warlord is impossibleI haven’t played the game for a very long time but I’ve played a lot of it and love it (btw the people who made plague inc made this game which is also a great game check it out) but I would like more maps and leaders and scenarios like the ones from around plague inc (and maybe new game modes too or something similar to like how in plague inc you could get different types of plagues) Also (I made this edit later I don’t exactly know how reviews work but I’m pretty sure My review isn’t being sent) warlord is impossible I had a support level of a little bit past a quarter of the whole bar and the total stabilization was at 15% and not one zone was stable and this is definitely a warlord glitch because had I used anyone else at least 5 zones would be stable at that time I don’t know if it’s intentional but all my reputation was gone before I had stabilized one zone even thought I had the Pr media office most of the tier one roads and other things in that category every tier one thing for the heath/school 3 anti corruption and still not one zone was stable (I had nothing to reduce it).Version: 1.3.3

Great game, but some suggestions:At this point, Intel of a region pretty much only limits if it can be stabilised, if troops can support other troops, and prevent insurgents from escaping. Playing on Brutal, early game the AI likes to spawn a ton of insurgent camps in the middle of your territory, where it’s full intel. But it doesn’t reveal them- and that’s really, really frustrating. I suggest that insurgent bases be revealed when they spawn in a region with full intel, because the game can quickly turn your 20 stabilised regions into a two front war zone..Version: 1.1

Great gameGreat game, lots of pathways to go. I think it’s impossible on the most difficult level but it’s a great way to spend some time.Version: 1.2.2

Different and in the very good wayI’ve played the heck out of plague inc. i’ve gotten the vast majority of the virus’s in that game, and finding out that this was made by the same devs peaked my interest. it’s very good so far, because instead of causing mass panic and infecting the earth, your trying to stabilize a country. you’ll start by rolling out projects from your HQ, and then contend with insurgents as you try to stabilize the region further with roads, medical supplies and what not with a upgrade system similar to plague inc. but be careful, the more upgrades you buy, the more you’ll inflate the upgrades prices, as well as there being a chance for your government to become corrupt. that, and you’ll be fending off various insurgent attacks and locating their camps with drones and bombers (but don’t get carried away, you might end up blowing up the people your trying to help). so in short, if you enjoyed plague inc, you’ll want to take a look at Rebel inc. (side note: you’ll need to use two shuffle word things for naming your operation. custom naming isn’t here yet i think).Version: 1.0.2

Brilliant gameThis is a very good game , well thought out and gives hours of pleasure trying to stabilise the region with all the things a country may face . For the price it is well worth the money and you can play it for hours without getting bored plus every time you play it there’s always a different outcome depending how you use your funding etc , thanks well happy with it..Version: 1.4.5

Good game and it’s not that hardI’m 13 years old and it takes me 4 to 7 times to finish it on normal and it’s still fun every time and it can get pretty frustrating sometimes but it makes it so satisfied when you get past a level.Version: 1.4.5

Very well doneI’ve played Rebel Inc. before, and i’d say I was kinda average at it. I had fun then, I had fun now, and i’m not sure why I didn’t review it already. For starters, it’s easy to begin. The tutorial goes over the basics well, and getting into it is smooth. As easy as it is to start, it’s pretty hard to master. This makes it all the more fulfilling when you manage to finally stabilise after all those challenges. Would definitely recommend..Version: 1.4.5

Awesome gameGreat fun I would definitely recommend. It’s a must play. It really keeps you on your toes..Version: 1.1

Well thought outWhat a great game! Strategy, multiple outcomes, etc. Love the different challenge levels. I’m a big fan of Plague, and while similar in play style it is still different enough to be its own game. Does not disappoint!!.Version: 1.6.0

Great game but...I’ve purchased this game and so far beaten each level on normal with their required unlock able character. This means that I’ve done most of what the game actually has to offer in terms of unlocking things. I suppose I can replay levels with different governors and different difficulties but there is actually no more content for me to access. I’m not saying the game is in any way bad I just wish there were more levels to play or even a custom level creator so I could have more freedom and more levels to complete. Overall, great game I’ve had a good day and a half playing it but I just wish that there was something more I could do that wasn’t just replaying old levels slightly differently..Version: 1.0.2

Complex yet wonderfulThis games balance between complexity and strategy is well tuned, allowing for great gaming experience that well have players constantly wanting to experiment and try new strategies to achieve success, 10/10 would recommend purchasing.Version: 1.3.3

Educational.I’m from China. It’s been heart breaking to witness the mess in Middle East from 2001(born 1993), and disappointing to see it still unsolved today. Peace and stability is the foundation of prosperity and democracy. We Chinese deeply know how difficult it can be for a country to gain peace and maintain it, never mention when there are foreign counties trying to sabotage it. This app is educational. To some western countries, Middle East is a chessboard to play their imperialism on, but to the people living on that land, it’s hell. This app goes beyond Civilization in some way. (Some games simply tells you to bomb someone else’s home down. )It’s glad to see this app after the developer go professional. God bless you. All the best wishes to the people suffering the war. May the peace come to you soon. User.Version: 1.1

Pretty goodIt definitely is a good game if you are looking for strategic political simulator. It does get a little repetitive after while but I think it would last a couple months. If you like political sandbox’s I would not recommend this as this mainly relies on strategy. My advice to the developers is to maybe update a bit and a few more things to make less repetitive and to make it more fun..Version: 1.3.3

Challenging, in a great waySo far I have loved playing this, already put over 5 hours into this game. I played Plague Inc. for a long time and I can say this can and will be a better version of it, I love the extra depth they’ve added, whether it’s negotiating peace relations, interacting with your coalition and such. It’s also very challenging because the enemy can be very brutal even in normal mode, which can take a lot of time testing the abilities and understanding how to use your military with just the right timing. I personally feel like the enemies toughness could need a little lightening up but you don’t want to lose the challenge either. It can be very satisfying when you finally destroy the insurgents. Lastly, the tutorial and tips are very good, I would just ask that you help us understand the peace process a little better and how to end the game. Thank you for a great follow up! Keep up the work!.Version: 1.0.1

Great game! Hard but not impossible.....This game does not disappoint you, it is a little bit hectic and when you win you feel like playing some more, but be warned, it may make you a little bit frustrated. Apart from that tho there is not much to sin the game for................ 🎩 🐢.Version: 1.4.5

I really enjoy this gameThis game is honestly a great adaption to the layout of the plague game. Enjoy the concepts but only gripe would be the insurgents constantly moving, I enjoy that they do move but I think maybe adding a element of if they are beaten say 5 times in a row they should automatically disband. I think adding in armoured units might be cool too, could have enemy’s with truck mounted weapons like isis used or hose sort of not high tech but still dangerous units then counter it by employing oversees armour or training your own national armour core. Either way great game for sure..Version: 1.3.3

Great Fun!I’ve played the game again and again and it’s great fun every time. It’s a great concept, very true to reality I imagine and it ranges from simple to very complex, I feel everyone would enjoy it!.Version: 1.3.3

New and funSuper fun and very different yet similar to plague inc I truly love it thank you for a great game.Version: 1.6.0

Lots of capabilitiesSo this game is still in its third major update and trust me, it’s harder then you think (especially if you are a Plague Inc. player because you would not have expected anything like this from the developers!) There should be a Very Easy mode for those who think they need enough practice before even winning easy. (it’s from a difficulty from 1-10 it’s about 4 to 5!) However, once you get how this game works then you might be able to beat normal MAYBE! I am about two-thirds of the way to beating every map on normal and was three-fifths of the way before the sixth map came in the third major update. Overall, once you get the hang of it, it’s a great game! And guess what, the only beta and alpha stuff only existed to test the game and so far I have yet to find a glitch in this game (however there are some glitches being fixed in every update or so but still, it’s a low glitch game and its quality is good!).Version: 1.3.0

Amazing GameI can’t say enough about this game. It’s so immersive and so many opportunities are presented when you click play. From choosing your Map, Governor, Difficulty, Advisor and even what area you’d like to deploy in, it’s just so mind-blowing. This game has so many options and is one of the best mobile games in my opinion. A quick thank you to the developers of this awesome game, it has kept me entertained and amazed for hours on end so great job. RECOMMEND THIS 100%.Version: 1.4.5

Great game!Totally worth it!.Version: 1.7.2

Great gameThis is a great game, and it requires much more strategy than plague inc. In my opinion however I believe I could be improved. The game needs to explain how to deal with the loss of reputation and it should explain more clearly how to stabilise zones. In my opinion the insurgents (the enemy) should not just keep on running away every time you take over a zone but they should be exterminated after some. I am not saying that the insurgents should not run away but I think that after some time and some running away they should be exterminated. I also think that your soldiers can lose battles and therefore they die and you lose them the same goes for insurgents. I also think that the game tutorial could be improved and be more explanatory on how the game works. Overall this game I great and you should definitely get it I am playing this game currently and I am having tons of fun..Version: 1.0.2

Lots of potentialThe amount of strategy required and the simulation that this game provides is insane but needs more to be able to live up to its predecessor, Plague Inc. We need more choices, maps, governors, balance out the insurgents by either reducing their overall strength or increase the power of our national army or coalition. The insurgents just pop up so quickly to the point where it is EXTREMELY OVERWHELMING. If we could recruit new armies quicker and more efficiently, it would balance it out more. Or just reduce how quickly our reputation goes down because of the insurgents. But I’ve lost count of how many times I lost because the insurgents just wipe the floor with my armies even after I upgrade them but the upgrades seem to make such little to no difference. I loved the game at first but it has too many balancing issues. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for the game in the future and I hope it matches or becomes even better than Plague Inc one day. James and the team are great devs who always seem to listen to any feedback. I have a lot of faith in them to expand on this even more..Version: 1.0.2

Love this gameLove this game reminds me of some old rebel board games I used to play. Complex enough to be interesting with easily understood interphase.Version: 1.1

Feel empowered to make changeGreat work on creating a simulation, to allow the proms of the world, to vent some of the frustrations we feel from time to time. Now some people may think this is a desensitises our moral compass, however I have found out more about the political science of such events, than I normally get from the idiot box (TV/News). I now have a better appreciation for such events around the world. Change starts with your attitude towards something. Well done.Version: 1.2.2

Basically Anti-Plague Inc.It’s kinda the same style but instead of killing off populations and cities you are growing them and helping people, the insurgents are a nice touch to add another thing you have to worry about and panic for. Pretty stressful which is good because it means I’m enjoying the game and I’m involved in it. Overall pretty good game looking forward to other variations of these games that developers introduce..Version: 1.1

GoodA little bit hard but super fun good game👍.Version: 1.6.0

WowLoved plague inc and i love this game too it was a little hard at the start but after a while i got the hang of it. Great fun best $4NZD I’ve ever spent. ❤️😍😘.Version: 1.2.2

Cleverly doneGreat game, similar to plague, just have fun playing this game cause your day will disappear......Version: 1.3.3

Brilliant game!First and foremost, I don’t write reviews much for games. However, this game is captivating! Without giving too much away, you’re in the hands of a country, and you have to do what you feel is best for the people and also protect them. There is strategy involved (exactly what I like!) and random in game events always pop up to keep you on your toes! I recommend this game to people of all ages! It is honestly an amazing game..Version: 1.4.7

EngagingVery obvious after a few minutes that this is very similar in play-style to Plague Inc. but that’s no bad thing as long as you were into the much lauder forebear to this title. It’s not just a re-skin though; some nice decision-making and tactical flourishes have been built-in to enhance gameplay and the narrowed and varied maps make for a more intense experience. The art-style and design are not quite as snappy as the games predecessor but the interface is still very nicely done. Overall I engaged with this game very quickly, definitely worth the £1.99!.Version: 1.0.2

See how foreign policy worksEducationally enjoyable. Insurgents!! 💥.Version: 1.7.0

Pretty cool gameLoved it.Version: 1.6.1

Campaign difficulty needs tweakingExcellent game, been playing for a year non stop, however, the new campaign update is throwing some almost impossible challenges at me for example a combination of only coalition soldiers, non extendable coalition deployment, limited intel, and insurgent recruitment bonuses. The ‘normal’ level difficulty on campaign therefore becomes similar to brutal level on a normal map, it’s ridiculous and definitely taking the fun out of the game being thrown into unwinnable matches.Version: 1.6.0

Great gameGood game get it now.Version: 1.6.0

MultiplayerI know this wasn’t meant to be multiplayer, and probably won’t but just think... I believe this would be so much better with multiplayer, make a bigger map and allow a player to play insurgents, and the other to play normal. They need to focus on defending their territories and attacking each other, all while upgrading zones and techs. One might focus on attacking, not economy so the other player will have to be more defensive but will have a better economy. So much potential in my opinion! Is still a great game btw.Version: 1.2.2

Simply addictiveI have really enjoyed this so far and it’s got so much detail in everything that happens and it takes into account everything that might happen in the real world Question for James. In the future could we see more types of units that counter certain insurgency units like a tank unit that are expensive but affective and a heavy unit or more stuff like that. It would be cool if certain units countered other units so it gets even more strategical that it already is Thanks.Version: 1.0.2

Fantastic. Addictive.Keeps you engaged with how to manage the map. Very addictive!.Version: 1.7.0

AwesomeWhat an incredible well thought out game, it was difficult at the beginning to establish a win, but as I went on it became an awesome game, with heaps of things to keep you busy, I love all the game from these guys, highly recommend if you want a game to take up most of your attention..Version: 1.4.5

WowThis game is amazing and is definitely worth it.Version: 1.5.0

Fantastic!I’ve only played a match and I’m hooked! The addition of several new game mechanics to the plague inc play style may seem confusing when starting, but it works magnificently. The classic game is spiced up in the very best way, and is definitely made its own. The map is beautiful and the controls perfect. THIS GAME IS SO GOOD JUST GET IT ALREADY YOU LOSERS. I’ve already recommended it to all of my (2) friends..Version: 1.2

Well thought throughFun, comprehensive gameplay. If you enjoy plague inc. then you may find this interesting also..Version: 1.4.7

Just incredible.Just love it. The attention to detail on basically every aspect of the game is incredible. It puts a lot of focus on getting the people to like you, but also forces you to divert your focus between that and your military strategies against the insurgents. There is no real easy way to win this game, as it keeps on shifting and moving against you. To be able to win this game, you have to stay on your toes and never stick to any one plan. This is a masterpiece of a game. Also love the music..Version: 1.0.2

Buy it right now.Totally worth 2.79-.Version: 1.6.0

Huge fanI was a fan of plague, and when I saw their new game i bought it immediately. I was not disappointed, it is as fast game as plague, well thought out and just captivating experience. I have one minus though, when the rebels come at you that is the only thing you have time to consentrate on and not on building an infrastructure. Though, the name of the game is literally Rebel inc. So I might be a bit dense here. All in all, great game. Good work game developers !!!!!.Version: 1.3.3

GreatI really love this game as it is so strategic and interesting. But I would like to say that it can be extremely difficult and I sometimes find it hard to win even on the lowest difficulty, I know this could be just because I am not good at the game. But I do think that they should add force instance a beginner level where you have much more of an easier mission, And that your Reputation ect goes down a lot slower. But other than that I do recommend and I love playing. ( ^_^ ).Version: 1.5.0

Great gameTo be honest I enjoy this game more then plague inc but this game is even more challenging then plague inc I can’t progress much but still a fun game.Version: 1.6.0

Rebel Inc - Really Fun! But not for everyoneThis game is great, especially for those who have previously enjoyed games like plague inc. However, in my opinion this game does cater to strategy enthusiasts more so than casuals. Some things can only be learnt through playing, and while this is not necessarily bad, it can be confusing at first. Over all, this is a good game and stands alone from plague inc rightfully..Version: 1.2.1

⭐️AMAZING GAME⭐️This game will not able to profit by just selling $1.99. So many elements are involved. Governmental problems like corruption, reputation, and civil support are involved. Military factors like civil army and united army are involved. You can also use tons of fun tactics in response to the local landscape. It’s also fun to find a perfect balance between civil hope and government requirements in your way to the union. You can literally do EVERYTHING in this $1.99 game! Edit: The game is absolutely awesome, but I do have few suggestions. First, you can create a situation, where the insurgents could be tactical and ending up eliminating player’s army. However, the insurgents are still too overpowered, and they don’t seem like they could be tamed at all without the players’ tactics. In addition, you could add plagues in the game, which could make the game more complex. And also, in easy and normal mode, the corruption doesn’t do any harm to the gaming experience, and I wish you could make corruption more impactful, too. Lastly, I hope that the players could have more freedom, and they get to choose where they build the fortress, and at what time they need to discuss with the insurgents. But still, great game! I hope my comment could be seen by the game makers. You are absolutely awesome :).Version: 1.4.5

Pretty goodNot too bad.Version: 1.6.0

Like Plague Inc. with PoliticsGreat game, well designed and feels like you are a real head if state making difficult but important decisions as you fight off insurgents and secure a better land for your people. Some of the biases in what policies arbitrarily give benefits and disadvantages shows a bit of a debatable partisanship in games design. (Ie. encouraging international involvement in government affairs gives only benefits, whereas restoring national autonomy once region is under control is seen as unpopular and decreases reputation... etc.) Nevertheless, very enjoyable and well thought out game with a tonne of potential. Highly recommend!.Version: 1.4.6

Fun, strategic and educationalMakes me realise the hard decisions required in order to bring and maintain peace.Version: 1.2.2

Thoughtful take on a complex topic and an engaging game too!Despite the simple interface, there’s quite a lot to this game. Learning it is a real joy as you’re forced to grapple with some real life decisions where the morally “right” answer might cause more problems than a messy compromise. The game’s economy is pretty well balanced too and I constantly find myself wanting to buy two or three upgrades, but only having the money for one. It forces you to prioritize, which is really the meat of the game. The push and pull between the military affairs in the war and the civilian “hearts and minds” is excellently captured, as committing too much to one of the other will result in a mission loss from the other. It’s all about striking the right balance. That being said, there is an optimal build/tactic order in the game, and once you figure it out, the game becomes relatively trivial even on the hardest difficulty. But, there are plenty of achievements to go after. And, the bonus maps they’ve been adding to the game include extra stressors that can mix it up even the dominant strategy. Best of all, this is a game with unlocks! You can shortcut them with money, but if you want to see everything for only your initial buy in, that’s possible! Highly recommend on that business practice alone..Version: 1.4.5

My reviewIt’s a bit hard but it’s a very good game and I recommend it :).Version: 1.6.0

So much better than expected.I’ve been a fan of the Inc series for a while now, playing through Plague Inc for years and owning most of the DLC packs that are on offer. Honestly Rebel Inc. isn’t what I’d thought it to have been, but it’s definitely something I enjoy, seems a bit easier than plague inc, and I hope to see something more like a mode where we can play as the insurgents or something..Version: 1.4.3

Combat is rough.I’ve grown quite fond of this game over time and I enjoy it quite a bit, although some of the aspects seem rough around the edges the game over all is challenging and fun. As for the combat, the insurgents don’t ever seem to take casualties, when they do it seems like a dice rolls and it’s inconsistent. The camps keep producing insurgent strength unless destroyed, this wouldn’t be a problem if you had a way of actually killing the insurgents with out surrounding them, even then, the insurgents sometimes seem to just charge through the surrounding areas that you have troops or garrisons in, the game teaches you in the tutorial that the only way to kill the insurgents is to surround them. Though this is a minor critique and a small issue with the game. This game is easily worth the money, though if you play games to have fun more than for the challenge you may want to look else where..Version: 1.4.6

Absolutely AmazingThe game Plague Inc. was an absolutely amazing game and I’m happy to have purchased this game. It is absolutely fun to play and a real mind puzzle. It took me a while to finally win and wow what a great feeling it was. You did well on the game James and I hope it gets some great updates in the future..Version: 1.3.3

Awesome gameSo far, so good. I am really enjoying this game, at first I was hesitant but I don’t regret the purchase. This game has a lot going for it and is quite enjoyable, I was worried it would be just a reckon or plague inc. but the game feels like a completely different piece and I tend to like it more than plague inv. 10/10 would recommend, Good work James, and the rest of the team.Version: 1.1

NiceAmazing.Version: 1.6.0

Rebel Inc is AMAZINGWhen I was playing Plague Inc. I always wanted to have a game built similar to plague Inc but more military based. REBEL INC has SMASHED my expectations. Mixing geopolitics, with a nation ravaged by war you must do what you must in order to rebuild this unnamed nation while having to deal with insurgency movements to corruption and keeping your project’s reputation high. The only thing that I would nitpick is that when you have to train your own soldiers rather than use coalition soldiers the training time is too long and there is at least for me no way to speed up there training while coalition soldiers are ready to be deployed 3 seconds after you've requested them. Also, I really want to see a Scenario Creator with this just like what happened with Plague. Inc But I still love Rebel. Inc the geopolitical cousin of Plague. Inc.Version: 1.2.2

Amazing game!As a HUGE Plague inc. fan this may just be bias, but Ndemic really put some work into this game. Don’t be discouraged by the fact the name of the game seems to basically be the creators wanting to get as many downloads as possible thanks to the large popularity and name recognition of the previous game. As soon as the game came out, I bought it. I think now that I have beat the game I can safely say this game is almost as good as Plague inc. I found this game very much more challenging than Plague inc. but not in a stressful way. The game is set where you are authorized to start a government initiative to stabilize all of the region by meeting all of the different areas needs based on its geographical and cultural lifestyles. The challenge is that you must do this while keeping the corruption levels low and dealing with insurgents with military engagement. The game has a very, very similar format and to an extent similar gameplay to Plauge inc. so it wasn’t too challenging for me to play at first. Though if you aren’t very knowledgeable/aren’t interested in economics, politics, and even statistics, then this isn’t the game for you..Version: 1.4.6

InsurgentsReally good game just Nerf the insurgents.Version: 1.6.0

AwesomeVery fun. Definitely recommend.Version: 1.7.0

Very goodSpent a couple hours trying different difficulties and enjoying the game so far..Version: 1.2.1

Well thought out...Pretty complex but well thought out. Enjoyable to play!.Version: 1.6.0

Good GameIt’s nice to see a game that’s not completely and blindly focused and driven on conning it’s players out of their money. Good name, I would like to see other options to buy small packs to boost starting money which remains on each mission you play, like on Motorsport Manager 1 & 2. Other than that, so long as they keep developing the game and invest in some more overt marketing, I’m sure it will do well..Version: 1.2.2

Hard at the startIt was challenging at the start but after a while it became one of my favourite games on my iPad please keep it up.Version: 1.3.3

A strategic MasterpieceThis game makes my stomach flip just thinking about it. I really love the military- force gimmick, and it gives me nastalgia for Fallout™️ The Board Game. Great game..Version: 1.1

AWSOME but needs some workSo war needs nukes and have ships and oceans and new guns and add tanks and trench war far and let’s say a plague Hits it can kill your side and the em side you can find the cure but your em can to and you can steal the em cure/or research in labs you can make labs but so labs can be use for cures some can be use for new guns (warfare) and the army can take Metal/stone/oil/ stuff like that they can make new stuff like new guns tanks and a city let’s say if a em side starts they don’t have to do war they can but you can too the em side should have rep too and add planes not just for war and plans you should be able to control the army more by plans the em can steal them but so can you the law should be able to fend off the em and let’s say you can make deals like if you don’t kill us in the are people we will not shoot with out WARING and brain washing that’s some stuff you should add.Version: 1.3.3

Good game, sometimes hard, and not having to pay for extra content. 10/10In the beginning for me, it was really difficult to get a good foothold, but after playing and failing a lot, I started to understand this game and it became easier. The insurgents can be quite annoying at sometimes when they just pop up out of nowhere, but they can be easily dealt with if you play smart and you have good positioning, all in all it is a fantastic game and I would heavily recommend it for anyone that likes strategy games with a challenge. This game does have content that you can pay for in the form of new characters to play and maps for you if you want to have some more possibilities while bringing a new challenge to the table. The maps and characters can be unlocked for free by completing missions on the harder difficulties so you’re not forced to pay a penny for the extra content..Version: 1.4.6

FunLove this game great job..Version: 1.7.0
