✓ It’s great but not amazing (IMO)Love this app, I do, it helps spice up my music videos a lot but a LOT of effects and filters should be free because since you can preview them, they don’t look worth paying for, they look like they should be accessible by everyone. It’s also a really bad ratio when it comes to free:premium. Ex: you get 2 free effects in a category but the other like, 7 are only accessible for premium members. And some do even have free options. It seems very selfish and honestly again, a LOT of them look like they should be free. It’s an editing app for cute effects, this isn’t adobe, shouldn’t have to pay for anything really, but that’s just me. All in all, it’s okay. Nothing special, but it could be much better. Much, much better 🤍 Edit: If you’re looking for an editing app that doesn’t try to make a profit off of you and gives you wayyyy much more effects and a much wider selection all for FREE, I’d suggest CapCut because they have A LOT of effects that you might like and it’s all free :) 🤍.Version: 3.0.1

✓ I love the simplicity but....It’s great how simple it is to handle it but when trying to put several effects on one video there’s no smooth transitions between them. I wish they would implement a button to add another layer of filters before saving. Also the transform photo into video feature it’s bugged and gets stuck on loading when saving after setting the filters. Also maybe change the way the filters are previewed at the bottom kinda like group them by types. Instead of scrolling all the way to the right to find it. It would also be nice to have effects like a coins or money rain. And more time effects like the featured beat wave and “high effects”. Adding more shapes of waves and frequencies would help people not to swap in between apps to edit their short posts. And also... please add a “add logo or watermark”. That is a must. I know it’s a lot but I’m very happy to see the potential in the app. So far people are loving it but gets monotone very quick. Keep the good work!.Version: 1.5
✓ Only Works Sometimes!If this app worked all the time, I’d give it 5 stars. The filters are cool and fun and just what I’m looking for to post online videos. I have yet to find another app that does the same thing, or better. HOWEVER, when saving a project, it’s an extremely difficult process. Which is a shame because the whole point is to save the project and use it! The saving time takes way long and I literally had to attempt to save a project like 7 times before it finally worked because it crashed every single time without saving. It only worked after I restarted my iPhone 8. Smh. Other than the save feature, the filters are dope. It allows you to edit the video (trim, cut etc) as well as scrub/ play/ pause the video so you can see what’s being affect with the filters. I almost gave it 2 stars because of the save thing, because it’s so frustrating. But I do like it otherwise..Version: 2.9.1
✓ I hate free trial apps that charges before the trial endsWith very limited items to edit and modify videos this is a mediocre app and I chose to use a different one once I downloaded it I went to manage subscriptions and canceled all of the ones I downloaded Incase I wasn’t satisfied so if by an off chance I would forget it would be eliminated... however this app charged my apple account 38$ prior to the day it was to expire which was today not even sure when it charged or when the charge will reverse either way it’s going to be disputed and investigated on both apple and the apps end I’m not going to be held accountable for this charge and others should know this before downloaded big red flag splice and VivaVideo have more easier navigation and so many great edits for videos without Charging a card in advance the packages they offer for quality content is also decent defiantly less than 30$.Version: 2.8.3

But the only thing that scared me was when I was trying on filters on snapchat and I got a notification saying “you look great with this filter” and I was like wait how can they- the. ✓ Curious question...???Why is your Facebook link secured (https) but your privacy policy and such are insecure (http)...??? My current user selections and privacy controls won’t allow me to visit sites that aren’t secure. I have to allow an app through my firewall to login to my home network WiFi router. That’s trusted as I can change the default login information. However, I am not sure if it is safe to visit the privacy policy because, well, I cannot be sure it’s actually private and secure. Any chance you could elaborate and ensure users that there is no risk to our privacy while visiting your privacy policy?? ✓ Effect overlapI used this app a couple years ago to edit a video and I tried it again today to edit another video but it wouldn’t let me add more than one effect to the video, it was a 3 minute video and only let me add one effect right at the beginning. ✓ The honest truth about filtoSo , this game was absolutely amazing when I first tried it . The filters were amazing! But every time I made a mistake on my picture I couldn’t delete it and when I tried to add another filter on my picture it just repeated the picture how it was before I put any filters on it. The part I found a bit annoying is that u can’t choose the music on the picture so I ended up having weird music for a pretty picture. Overall this a good app to get..Version: 4.2.10
✓ SpeedThere is this question that I have...like I would make a video and a use this app to like speed it up bc I do gaming, and every time I would speed it up and later watch it in my camera role like the whole video some of the video would slow down and the whole video is not like speeded up. I have tryed everything to keep the whole video sped up or does not work, I have tryed pre cutting it and it always does the same thing and I have tryed to make shorter videos and it does not work. I could not change the frame on the video - there was only one option (I could find) and it isn’t clear if the variety of frames is available for video, it looked like for photos only. For a free version, give us all the options so we can see how your app works BEFORE we pay for it. Time limit it and put a big watermark on if needs be. ✓ Not worth it anymore ~READ~I used this for a while now and at first it was great! The free options where good, and it is really easy to use! But it went kinda downhill with the latest update. A feature I always liked about this app was that I could try out the pro features on a video before buying the subscription to see if it was something I wanted to invest in. They took this away however is the latest update. I was saving up my money to buy the pro but I was distraught when I found out they took the feature away that’s let me look at the pro items. Another thing is, I don’t really know why but it won’t let me edit a video longer then 3 minutes?? I’ve always used the free version and before the latest update this wasn’t a problem for me. I wasn’t going to write a review about the update, despite my disappointment, but I’m editing a music video for my yt, and its only about 3:30 but it wouldn’t let me edit it despite letting me update videos that where more the 5:00 before the update. ✓ Do not recommendSo I got this app because my friends told me it was good and that it’s really good at editing photos, and well my friends weren’t wrong but they didn’t mention about how much this app is a money grabber. Now despite its a good app it really want money as you could tell if you got it. ✓ A good app , just one problemSo , I downloaded this app after I saw an ad on IG . The ad was an edit of Zero Two , and it said " Make an edit with just a few buttons ! " . The ad on IG is was caught my interest because I have trouble manually making edits on my own and I though that if I could use this app , it would help me . I downloaded it , and I tried to make an edit , but there was no option for video editing , on like it showed on the ad . And I got a bit upset . I tried to find many ways to video edit like how it showed on the ad . . . But it only allows me to edit photos with different filters and stuff . I mean , the app is good , but was that ad a scam ? ✓ Getting better over time I guessFilto is a great app if you are willing to pay for some filters. It’s still a fun app if you don’t pay but not as good because for each filter, there are let’s say 5 versions, you only could use about 1 or 2. Apart from paying for more filters, it also has adds which are annoying but that’s a way of making money so whatever (it’s a way of making money for the app ofc). Some things that I like about the app is how it’s VERY VERY organized and has some cool filters if u pay for them or not. Anyways, if I had to ask to change anything it about the app it would be a less expensive fee for the filter payment, less adds, you could take new pics, not one from ur camera roll only, and more things for free! Those are the reasons, even if only one change is made, I would give it 5 star!! Keep on going with your good work though!.Version: 3.4.5
✓ It's okayI think some of the editing options are really neat and have a lot of potential, but there are a few things i really don't care for. - removing a filter is kind of a hassle. it would be much easier to take it off when adjusting said filter instead of scrolling to the start - some of the filters have animation on them, which is cool, however you don't have the option to make it just a still image. it's either all or nothing - for most of my photos, i end up cycling through multiple apps because filto's tools are mostly available only to people who buy the premium - while i've never adjusted photos on filto, it's definitely annoying that some of the photo adjusting tools require premium. comparing this to other apps, filto is really taking the L here. - your photos get watermarked!!! usually i am okay with this but filto's watermark is pretty ugly and large. you can pay premium to remove it, but i don't have this problem with other apps overall, filto has cute filters and editing tools, but the interface (not just the filter removing) is a bit confusing AND irritating. some people may be okay with paying premium, but i am not an influencer or anything, so i don't edit photos a lot!! but when i do, i would like a more reliable app :/.Version: 3.4.7

✓ Tried to charge me $60I downloaded this app experimentally to try out one filter. The next day after only opening it once to it charged me almost $60 for a yearly subscription. I knew that there was a free trial offered but apparently that trial lasted less than 24hours before it tried to bill me? KEEP IN MIND an $8 weekly subscription is available! ✓ This APP Is Soo Bad!!! I'd Give It No Stars If I CouldI don't like APPS which try and force you - to spend money on it. 98% of the filters you have to pay a ton of money monthly. Even when the filter is free, they pretty much force you - to get the pro version (A LOT! Of money) to remove the watermark. You guys are disgusting. Very money grabbing. It's basically control. My only complaint is that most of the things are pro which is very expensive. ✓ Good app but not thaaaat goodI payed for the premium version but I got many problems editing my videos in different situations. The most annoying is when takes ages to save the video and then get locked the screen and you have to do it again and again. Also there is many problems when you want to do a time lapse. ✓ FAIL - NOT worth the money!After I spent loads of time editing a 6:12 min video last night, it crashed on the save and I lost everything. I was livid! Attempted to use it again today to edit a video that was only 1:30min and EVERY time I attempted to save the video, the app crashed during the saving process. Additionally, after adding any edits to my videos, the audio and video do not sync up. There is a significant lag in the audio that needs to be fixed ASAP. I ended up doing a screen recording of what I edited (which wasn’t good quality since i recorded from the preview screen then cropped it) then used my screen recording in another app to adjust the audio to sync to the video. This is ridiculous considering how much the subscription costs. I’ve cancelled my subscription and taking my money elsewhere..Version: 2.8

I’m not made of money and yes I realize it isn’t that expensive but I would much rather be able to have great photos and tell people it’s a great app cause you don’t have to subscribe to get the good stuff.
