SHRED: Gym Workout Planner for Positive User Reviews

Loving this App!I am loving this app so far. I don’t mind paying for something that has all these features! One thing I recommend for a future update is to incorporate a Landscape mode for iPad users. I have a stand for my iPad that keeps it in landscape, so it sucks to take out every time. With landscape mode you could show what you have to work out next, a timer, a way to add water etc. Lots of options to utilize the space..Version: 1.4.5

IN LOVE 😍I got this app after someone recommended it on tiktok and I have had NOT ONE disappointment! It’s truly amazing! I would definitely recommend for either a quarantine workout, trying to get fit or just doing it for fun! Whatever standard you are, do get this app, it is very motivating and gives you the results you want!.Version: 1.7.4

GOAT / Greatest Of All TimeAll I’ll say is I have never even come to close to considering paying for an app subscription until now. I’ve also never come close to using these cliche words but I’ll do it anyway.. “This app changed my life”. P.S. As a graphic designer I can safely say that this is one of the more functional apps in the fitness app collection..Version: 1.0.4

Enjoying but....Great but fonts could be a little bigger for us visually impaired that don’t want to wear glasses while working out.Version: 1.3

First useStill on the free trial so yet to look at the cost. Really good in terms of variety. Shame that you seem to only be able to track the weight used once in a work out. Eg bench at the start I could put the weight in but then couldn’t for other exercises. Having that would make tracking much better. Seems good for free though. Depending on cost for full program I guess would effect the cost to product value..Version: 1.2.2

First ever app review. I need y’all to knowThis app is amazing. My wife and I needed to motivation to get healthy and workout. I’ve been workout since high school, butI’ve been doing the same workouts that I’ve been doing since football. My wife has always been pretty fit and she danced a lot when she was younger but now since we’ve been married we fallen into a sedimentary lifestyle. This app is super easy to use and it has given Us the motivation to work out every single day. Our strength has gone up our weight has gone down and we are much happier and much more active I could not recommend this app more. Just get it do the trial and I’m almost positive that every single one of you will end up using the paid version..Version: 1.7.9

Best ever... and I’ve used a fewThis is by far the best ever app for keeping you on track and away from falling off through boredom or over repetition of the “same old” routine. Changed my life and 20kg lighter in 6 months For reference that’s 30% of my body weight.Version: 1.2.1

Perfect Quarantine/WFH Workout AppI rarely make reviews but this app is fantastic. It’s perfectly organised so you are placed on a path(you can change paths) and it’s so customisable based on your situation. I was using it in the gym before we all were forced into self-isolation due to Covid-19 and I’ve never seen a workout app make it so easy to transition between gym regularly to bodyweight fitness. My favourite part though is the way you can choose between 3 different levels before your workout based on how much time you have and another group of options for how hard you want to go. Trying to get my wife involved with it so we can do the partner workouts but she’s hesitant about whether it’ll be a bit gendered towards male-dominant workouts. I can’t vouch for that one as I haven’t tried it. Regardless, don’t listen to the whiners about paying. You get plenty of trial before being asked to pay and come on, it’s worth it. The videos during your workouts that are basically little 10 second guides on how to do the workout is extremely clutch for someone who didn’t pay attention during preseason sports in HS. You get the picture folks, five stars for sure..Version: 1.6.2

Great app, opportunities to improveShred is a great app! Although I have a couple of suggestions to make it even better: - estimate calories/kilojoules burned and sync via HealthKit (super important for Apple Watch users) - the minutes exercised syncs but not calories burned - Apple Watch app - preferably as a stand-alone app, or if not a companion to the iPhone as a way to mark each set as complete..Version: 1.4.5

Amazing AppWish they had more free work outs. But nevertheless great app.Version: 1.7.7

Covid19Without this app in the current climate I would have lost it. Very adaptive and smart app. Awesome!!!.Version: 1.6.5

For all the dads and mumsGreat quick app thats cut down the whole thinking of a routine to do when strapped for time with commitments, but when you have time at the gym great workout plans!! Solid app! Have a jam anyways you get seven days to see if it ya thang!!.Version: 1.2.2

Game changerI’ve known Adam Summer since we were in university, and he has always had a special understanding of fitness. When I found out he wanted me on the beta test a year ago I was excited to try it out. I was blown away. I’m honestly addicted to the app to the point that it frustrates me obsessively if I missed a workout or don’t have time to do my shreds, I need my stats! I need my color blocks and my rising orange diagonal line on my stat sheet. The workouts are second to none, and I’ve used trainers and in retrospect our workouts seemed so weak in comparison. More so my trainers gave me two workouts a week but now I have a PATH and a PLAN. The workouts have an unbelievable flow , moving seamlessly from exercise to exercise , from circuit to circuit, the rest is timed out and the videos and tips are pertinent and clear. Ohhhh and the quotes inspire me and keep from texting during the rest BUT also if I do get off the app for a quick bit in between exercises I get a pop up reminder to get back on the app when the rest is over. I’m just so into this app man, I can’t explain all of what is in one review. But thanks Adam and the team at Shred.Version: 1.0.1

Great workouts that work with what you’ve got.Shred’s amazing, whether you’re at the gym or at home; the workouts are tough but fair, varied and the cheering feature is great. Keep on shredding fellow shredders!.Version: 1.6.1

AmazingWorkouts are hard core.Version: 3.1.4

Great AppReally good app! only suggestion i would like is a warm up before each session, but other than that its great..Version: 1.8.1

Obsessed With Shred!I downloaded Shred a little over 2 months ago, and I’ve used it almost every day since. I am completely and hopelessly obsessed with this app. For years, I was stuck in the trap of going to the gym and just going through the motions. Growing up, I had always been an athlete with direction and purpose. But as an adult, I struggled to find the same passion in working out. I found myself doing copious amounts of cardio, and I’d just kind of make up my workouts as I went along. My heart wasn’t in it, and I wasn’t seeing much progress. Then I met Shred. This app gave me back the passion and direction that I’d been searching for. The workouts are tough but fair, and I’ve seen more progress over the past two months than I have in the past two years. I’m so happy!! Features I love: - Cheers: The app encourages you to cheer on friends and other users. This may seem minor, but it is surprisingly motivating and creates a positive environment. - Leaderboard: I’m insanely competitive, so having a leaderboard really motivates me to step up my game. - Adaptive path: I love that the app takes into account the workouts you’ve recently done, which then informs the next recommended workout. This particular feature makes the app stand out from other workout apps I’ve tried. TL;DR Download Shred, embrace the workouts wholeheartedly, and get the results you’ve been craving..Version: 1.0.3

Crazy good 👍🏻Fab app!.Version: 1.6.5

Thanks more than you knowI have never ever ever been comfortable in the gym. I’ve always wanted the dream body and knew it was attainable for me somehow. Training with a trainer twice a week wasn’t enough and when we didn’t train I had no idea what the heck to do. My buddy Dominique referred me to shred to beta test and within 9 months my whole life is different . I have a body I thought would take me five years to get and I’m addicted to this app. If I don’t have my stats get better every month I’m bummed. If my week doesn’t light up with orange and blue and green dashes then I know I could have done better. Shred keeps me accountable, keeps me motivated and is the one thing every day I’m excited about. Just can’t really explain in words what this app does for your life , your confidence and of course your body.Version: 1.0

Best of the BestAs a fitness enthusiast and now personal trainer, I’ve checked out a number of fitness apps over the years. Shred is honestly the best of the best. It’s intuitive, sleek and jam packed with a plethora of workouts and exercises without being or feeling cluttered or overwhelming. The breakdowns are straight forward while the videos are helpful to show the user the proper form of movement. There are a vast majority of options for style of training, which you can filter through at any time (including home workouts with just body weight). There are continual updates which helps keep things from getting dull and retains users’ engagement. There are so many things about this app that I believe will help both fitness professionals and amateurs alike. I believe it will definitely help you in your fitness journey..Version: 1.0.1

LOVE this app! This app has totally changed the game for me. I had stopped going to the gym because of lack of motivation and no clear direction on how to make my time there worthwhile. This app has changed all of that! I’m now regularly hitting the gym 4-5 times a week. It makes it so simple and easy. I know exactly what to do each day while hitting all the major muscle groups and the videos are super helpful for someone like me who doesn’t have a ton of experience weightlifting. I love how flexible and adaptable it is even offering alternate suggestions if you’re not comfortable with an exercise or the equipment is already taken. Lean-x is my favorite - get my muscles shredded and that cardio burn! Seriously can’t say enough about this app. It’s exactly the tool I needed to make my workouts happen consistently and effectively..Version: 1.0

Best free workout appI’ve been training for 25 years and came across this app about 8 years ago Best free app available Tweak the workouts to suit you and your goals and it takes alot of the mental effort out as it creates new workouts for you Highly recommended for beginners through to advanced 👍.Version: 3.1.6

Yes! Personal trainer plans.Going to the gym with a program every workout to get better results. The videos are helpful for reminding you about proper form. It so easily keeps track of my lifts so I can progressively load each exercise for the next workout. Worth the upgrade..Version: 2.5.1

ImpressiveReally like this app. Great exercises and very user friendly. Can cater for every type of training routine. Nice..Version: 1.0.3

Great appIs just what I was looking for to set my routine. Agree with a few other comments eg stretches/warmup before and after would be good and being able to default the weight setting to kg's. Would be good to also if it defaulted to previous weight used and you were able to enter/edit the weight used before/after the exercise in the rest time rather than when should be doing the exercise. All minor things that wont stop me subscribing. Pricey enough but you won't get a PT any cheaper that is at you finger tips. The in app video's and descriptions showing and explaining the exercises are great for those not familiar with all the equipment and doing them properly..Version: 1.0.6

ShredAn amazing app...tbh I was always shredded already from my hard work and I study martial arts but shred kept me in shape with nothing but my own body weight and the exercises are there with demonstrated correct form. 10/10 tbh and I’m looking forward to using it more once I recover from my workout on badass for over 60 minutes...it’s intense so I’m going on easy for now. Thanks for everything❤️💪🏾..Version: 1.7.4

Cool app!I have used the app for the first time today and I like it. I am still figuring out some stuff but it would be nice if I could change the exercise on the fly in case the machine/equipment is being used by some gym hog or an injury prevents you from doing that particular routine. Cheers Shred people!! 👍🏻🍻.Version: 2.3.1

Very effective appI have tried a few training apps but shared has been most effective and the results show..Version: 3.2.1

ShredIt’s amazing.Version: 1.6.4

Huge fanThis app has some great workout routines and scheduling capabilities. I enjoy the stats too because it keeps my mind open to targeting areas I clearly don’t work out as much. I’m only using the free version for the last 5 weeks but I’ve been seeing results and it really has kept me on a routine and accountable. It’s great. I’ll probably get the full version after another month of this..Version: 1.7.9

Great for those new to the gymWhile Shred has a ton of functionality geared towards those who are long-time fitness enthusiasts, it’s also great if you’re just starting out. There are different modes to select at the beginning of each workout depending on your objectives (e.g., bulk, tone, lean), and once you’ve chosen one or more muscle groups or body areas, you will be presented with one of hundreds of different workouts based on the equipment available to you. (You can specify whether you have access to a gym or are using body weight, whether you’d like to incorporate kettlebells or resistance bands, etc.) You can easily log your reps and weight without interrupting the workout, and the app will track those data for you and present them for your reference next time the same exercise comes up. Each exercise also contains detailed steps and videos to guide you through the proper form. I would highly recommend Shred!.Version: 1.0.1

Worth the $100 Annual Fee!I’ve tested for weeks other apps giving them all a go, even Chris Hems Centre app, and this Shred app is the best with various levels of working out. The all in one apps with fitness, food diets and more go too far. This app is awesome for your tablet and giving you different exercises at the gym or home. I’ve used it for a year and it’s great to dig into anytime for a workout that’ll leave yah pursing more!.Version: 1.8.3

Shred is changing the fitness game! After not being able to afford personal training at LA Fitness for $300 a month. I decided to seek an alternative. While attending UC Irvine, I had a friend who recommended the shred app. I went ahead and gave it a try. I loved the user face on the app. It’s so easy to navigate the app to get some access to killer workouts that will have you pumped after every workout. I like how there’s different types of programs to fit any type of physique you’re looking to acquire. I personally want to gain size so most of my workouts are done under the bulk setting. Since I started using the app, I’ve added 90 lbs to my squat, 50 lbs to my bench, just to name and few, oh and my shoulders are looking so big. I’ve recommend this app to more than 15 friends and family, and to social side of this app helps me stay on track because your friends can see when you workout and what you worked out, they are also able to do the exact same workout as you, which is really cool. I highly recommend this app to anyone who is reading this, YOU WILL NOT REGRET THE GAINZ YOU GET USING THIS APP..Version: 1.0.1

So SHREDAlthough I am not a neophyte to fitness, after a few weeks on the app I feel like I am just now understanding what this gym thing is supposed to be about. The gym is somewhere where not once in fifteen years did I walk in with an exact blueprint of my workout, now I do!! 1) the workouts are phenomenal ! The key word is EFFICIENT. The workouts are crafted to reduce rest and work counteracting muscle groups or muscle groups that work concentrically. They move in a way that is intuitive and in a way I should have been working for years. 2) the use of the gym is time saving and is most conducive to dynamic workouts without distractions. There is a flow to workouts where the circuits use the same equipment for the duration of the workout and limit unnecessary movement around the gym. 3) the social aspect has elevated my motivation and interest in fitness. I know when my friends are working out and what they are working. I get push notifications when they start or when they cheers me during my workout or following it. I have a few followers or fans now who get alerted when I workout too..Version: 1.0.1

Best Training AppThought through very well. Everything you need is there. So many different workout styles. There is something for everyone. It shows you how to do all the lifts and whatever you do with a helpful video and tips from your “trainer. Every week your workout for that muscle group changes slightly so you are not getting bored of the same old workouts. My favorite feature might be when it notifies you of someone working out. If you follow someone you get a notification saying “blank is working out and crushing the weights” and There are other messages too. This feature is always motivating because it shows you there are other people out there working out while you are at home not working out. Much worth the $100 a year. If you think about it it’s like paying for 2 training sessions with a trainer. Except this doesn’t sit on its phone distracted. This app tracks your progress showing you what you lifted the prior workout when you did that set. Again extremely well thought through. Thank you shred..Version: 1.4.9

GreatThis app is amazing it helps me stay motivated and the exercises are easy to keep up.Version: 1.6.1

Wow. Like having your own personal trainer in your pocketDay 9 of the 21 day challenge and I can say that whilst it’s hard work, I’m seeing the benefits already. Lost weight and toning up nicely. The trainer’s pace and combination of exercises keeps it just about manageable for a beginner like me. The duration of sessions is just right. The challenge is an achievable objective. I’m even looking forward to each routine. Being able to watch the trainer and see myself on the screen means you can self-adjust your posture to ensure the exercise is done correctly. Great work Shred. Highly recommend..Version: 2.2.2

Great AppThis app can really get your training off the ground! While I do wish that there was a way to pick an alternative exercise when your gym doesn’t have a machine. I’m aware that you can switch to a different segment of the workout, but I have not seen an option to say which from a cable movement to say a band or dumbbell movement when a machine is not available at a gym. Admittedly, I could be missing that feature if it is available. Overall though, solid app if you are wanting to start the year off right and aren’t sure about what do at the gym. Tracking features are nice and additional add-on the workout are a great bonus. The premium version does have some killer workouts, but honestly the base version is quite effective for most..Version: 1.4.5

Awesome app but requires a subscriptionGreat app, I love all the features but they used to not require a subscription and it only gave access to premium features, but now you need a sub for everything. In my opinion it is still worth the subscription though..Version: 2.3.1

200 workouts completeFigure it’s time I left a review since I have now done 200 workouts without a paid subscription. SHRED has taken all the programming and guesswork out of going to the gym and working out at home. I just show up and do the work daily and am very happy with the progress made in strength and physique. The standard workouts push me further than I would push myself, and keep it interesting with a mix of big compound lifts and dynamic supersets for strength and functional movement. The HIIT finishers are also good when you have some left in the tank. I’ve been waiting to get bored with the standard and classic workouts, worried that I’ll eventually have to program for myself but it hasn’t happened yet. This app has taken me from complete beginner to confidently doing all the exercises in 6 months, the tips and videos are just enough to learn the movements. I think this app has the most value for someone with a gym membership, a keen mindset and a tolerance for suffering. Would be good to adjust workouts for a home gym, eg those who don’t have a full rack of dumbbells but do have a rack and barbell etc. Keep up the good work 💪🏼.Version: 1.8.3

Great app to expensiveThis app is a great way to get on track with your fitness and to lose weight, get lean so on but it’s too expensive.. I’m a young person just looking for a good app to help me lose weight but I can’t afford to pay a couple hundred a year..Version: 1.6.5

AmazedI really like this app, it keeps me on track, nice workouts with video examples and rest time it’s timed. Really recommended!.Version: 1.4.9

Best Workout AppThis app keeps me motivated at gym time, providing targeted workouts for my exercise routine with guided videos and weight recommendations. It’s varied session times gives me flexibility to select a workout length to match my needs and also suggests alternate exercises if equipment isn’t available which can be helpful during busy gym times. Do yourself a favour and download it now!.Version: 3.1.6

Popping offYessir.Version: 1.8.7

Best fitness app out there!Hands down the best option for variety and effectiveness. I love this app!.Version: 1.0.3

GreatApp is dope. A little lacking on the free version, but clean interface with tons of options and the ability to track workouts. Good stuff.Version: 1.9.0

Reply reply goodThere are. Tom of things fa I like bout this app. Do many. I’m going to focus on some thing where there could be improvement. For one, when you’re supposed to do n exercise for 30 or 45 seconds, you click a timer that has a 3 second countdown. There’s no little “ding sound letting you know when the timer frisky starts. There is one when it ends. It’s something small, but often after I set the timer, I walk away or move I to plank position or whatever. It’s a little thing, but also wouldn’t be too hard to implement. Another when dealing with the workout length (mini, normal, etc), this is more of a question/thought for the developers. Do you take into account past history/length of all other workouts? Or do you look at the length that was taken for that specific workout type. For example, I am still relatively new to this app, doing a mini-body weight-upper body workout takes me about 45 minutes when the suggested time is 25 or so. I can (fairly easily) do a medium lower body workout close to the suggested time, 45 minutes. This morning when I didn’t have as much time, I did a mini lower body workout, but the time it suggested for me jumped up to 35 minutes. I completed it in 22. You would think the suggested/predicted time should take only workouts of the similar type into account. That was a lot, I know. I’m done.Version: 2.6.0

The Best! Personal trainer in the pocket!!!Great app, amazing training variety, videos and very easy to use it!.Version: 1.4.5

It’s workingI’m using the free mode right now. No complaint and it works great. Yes I’m considering getting a yearly membership but first I want to improve and want to get familiar with the apps Good job to the Shred Team Michel.Version: 1.8.1

Awesome appUsed it for the first time today and was very happy with how it works. Would be awesome if there was a warm and cool down section though as being a newbie I feel as if I don’t need how to properly prepare myself for and cool down from workouts which could lead to injury, would be good to see this implemented in future..Version: 1.4.5

Probably the best app iv usedThis app is honestly so good I’d recommend you all give it a shot.Version: 1.3

Good but want tougher coachI have it in intense but feel the coaching style by has mellowed. I need the tougher coach style version before the updates.Version: 2.6.0

Best workout app for sure!!!!!!Previous to using Shred, I would make my own workout plans and I would always get bored with what I had and I was less motivated to hit the gym because of that so I started looking for a good app for my workouts. I found a few and tried them out. After only a week of using Shred, I deleted all the other apps because of how much I loved Shred! It gives me personalized workouts every single day and it always keeps me on my toes. It remembers the weights I’ve used so I know what to use next time, I can create my own workout to focus on certain muscle groups, check in with a buddy and workout together, it gives you tips to get the most out of the workout you are doing and so many other features. I have had several friends and gym buddies get Shred after seeing the workouts I do and the results from it. This is by far the best workout app I have ever used!!.Version: 1.4.5

Key to a locked doorI’m a women, I’ve never had gym experience and so my only way to get fit has been classes and in reality they just don’t work for developing the way I wanted to. With shred I became addicted to fitness, I became addicted to the gym and addicted to bolstering my stats that show on the app by being consistent and getting all my shreds in. I have had more results in three months than I have had in four years previously In LA doing every fitness class you can imagine. This app is my very another thing I do..... how sad lol. BUT I love being part of the shred community , getting the cheers and the followers , having my friends push me through the app. I’m so happy, seriously this has changed my life. I don’t know this Adam summer that they introduced ad my digital trainer but he is something special , he changed my life and I’m always going to be grateful to Shred for that..Version: 1.0.1

ABSOLUTE BEST FITNESS APP, HANDS DOWN!I’ve been an active person my whole life but after college found that I gained weight as work took over my life and found less time for the gym. I’ve always wanted a personal trainer but who has the time and who has the money for that? So I turned to fitness apps. While there are a lot out there that get you through the motions, none of them inspired me to keep going and I always found that I’d stop working out after a month or so. Then I found Shred. Game. Changer. This app is not only user friendly, but highly customizable. Whether you’re a training athlete, a casual gym goer or a complete newbie this app is for you. I started doing workouts during my lunch break and within weeks had lost weight and within a month actually noticed some differences looking in the mirror! Most importantly, the app has me coming back. THAT IS WHAT MATTERS MOST, PEOPLE!!! Do yourself a favor and download this app the moment you feel like changing your life....Version: 1.0.3

App crashingHas the app starting crashing for anyone else? Won’t load. Have uninstalled/reinstalled, turned phone off etc. help!!.Version: 2.5.3

Almost fully suitable to youWhat I like about the app is that you can customize the settings to where it can fit your preferences for your workouts. You can also tell it to skip a workout if your home/gym doesn’t have the proper equipment for that workout. Well.. for the most part. My first workout was for chest and triceps and every time it would go to a new section of the workout, it would give me the option to skip that section if you didn’t have the equipment or if someone was using it (you would just go back to that section later). But when it came to a section using a bar (for bench presses, squats, etc.) it didn’t give me the option. I guess it assumes that every gym has a bar, but I was working out at my neighborhood’s fitness center and it did NOT have a bar. Because it didn’t give me the option to skip, I had to just spam “complete, complete, complete,” essentially lying and saying I did the bar workout when I actually didn’t. Sure, I could use dumbbells instead, but I had JUST finished an entire dumbbell section of the workout prior to this problem. In the end, this isn’t a huge deal, except it can give inaccurate workout information to the one that logs that info for personal use. Overall, it’s a great app, and it helped me get an awesome workout, it’s just this one detail that made me give four stars..Version: 1.3

Amazing app!I love this app it has so many different workouts and you can choose which program suits your fitness level. Another good feature is you can select bodyweight, KB, etc depending on what equipment you have access to. I am stuck at home with only two dumbbells and have still managed to find each workout challenging. Definitely gets your heart rate going and a good sweat on..Version: 1.6.1

Really Like and Want to LoveIt’s a really sweet app for working out and has the perfect set up, just need some tweaking. For example it asks in setting what equipment you have available to use and it saves your selections, but then when you use the guided workouts the workout isn’t tailored based on the equipment you select. So you end up using the alternatives which they nicely have as an option for every workout, but it would be super convenient if the workout program already was tailored to the settings. Also I wish there was a way to be able to use the app with no internet. At my gym it’s super crappy cell service and no Wi-Fi and so sometimes I can’t view the video instructions. Which leads to my other complaint- I wish they would have a stretching routine that wasn’t a class or video based program. I can’t use the videos at my gym and so if I want to do a suggested stretch I can’t since it’s only in video follow along format. If they had it set up to where it was like the workouts and it gave you video instructions on how to do the stretch and a timer for each one so I could use the feature without internet that’d be perfect. Another thing that would be awesome was that after a workout when it suggests a short 5 minute cardio or HIIT that it'd instead ask you how much time you wanted to spend on those extras. I love the option after a workout to do my cardio or HIIT but sometimes I have more time so if it’d let you select an amount vs the preset 5 min that’d be sweet..Version: 2.7.6

AmazingIt Amazing I got ripped fast.Version: 1.6.5

Personal trainer in your pocketI have been using Shred for years and they recently commended me for being an early adopter! I’m not joking when I say it seriously changed my fitness game. At the beginning of my gym journey I had a personal trainer at Gold’s for a year. That helped me become comfortable in the gym and learn basic workouts. After developing a consistent routine using this app, I was at my strongest and fittest I’d ever been. This app makes it so EASY to get an intense and rewarding workout. I always feel like I get an extremely well-rounded set of exercises in, that target every part of the specific muscle group. It is absolutely worth the upgrade, though I honestly used the free version for a majority of my time with the app. Download this!.Version: 3.1.6

The most amazing workout appThis is the greatest app. I’ve been on and off in the gym and always doing the same thing because not knowing what to do and this app is amazing as it tells me what to do, how to do it, how long/how much to do it and it makes me wanna be the best that I can be with the social part and being able cheer other people on and getting cheered on by other people. It makes me want to go to the gym and workout..Version: 1.4.5

A bodybuilders dream come true! This app has it all. Chest, arms , legs, shoulders and much more! This app can help you with every weightlifting technique you need. If you don’t have the equipment? No problem the app shows you all exercises you need for full body workout. Have some weights or dumbbells? Good the app will show you many more exercises for the weights and the app is even better if you have a bench again even if you don’t have the equipment you can always choose the body weight option. This app also has three difficulty and depending where you are at the exercise will become either challenging or easy. You even have the option for custom workout by selecting a certain body part you wish to work out. The only thing I noticed is cardio seems pretty confusing. I do at least fifteen minutes of treadmill and elliptical but the app seems to have them the cardio as sets. Very confusing well for me anyway. Planing to buy subscription!.Version: 1.2.1

Great app that really works you!!Feel every session and even better I'm seeing and feeling the results!!.Version: 1.1.1

Helps you SOOO MUCHI started working out like 5 months ago. I felt like I didn’t have much improvement. I saw an ad for this app and I got cause, why not. One week later I tried it out. ITS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I never felt so tired before after a workout and it’s because it evens things out so your not doing to much at a time or too little. I’ve made more improvement for my body in 4 weeks than going to the gym for 5 months. It shows you what to do so you can precisely do the exercises right which really helps. And I really feel like it’s custom and at your own rate. If you don’t have the time or money to go to the gym you can almost get a custom trainer in your own home for free. And if you do go to the gym it tells you what to do when your there. But all in all I love this app, and it’s helped me a lot..Version: 1.4

Amazing!Just started using the Shred app! Loving it! Definitely pushes me to my limit and also a great variety of exercises that I’ve never done or muscle groups I never focused on. In love with Shred!.Version: 1.0.4

A mustI only write a review if something is extraordinarily bad or good. This app is fantastic, I (and others ;)) have seen noticeable results over the last year. Highly recommend. My suggestion to the powers that be would be to include a bit more diversity in the circuits, keep things different and exciting. Otherwise love this app..Version: 2.4.3

GoodDefinitely check it out.Version: 1.3

Potential is clearly thereShred looks like a really good app but I would like more features which could really help me out as a user. - The ability to download the workout: If WiFi is weak and cellular data isn’t available at my gym, what happens next? This is why downloading prior workouts is necessary for a more enjoyable experience. - Weight recommendations: For people who don’t know about one rep max and other terminology, as part of the setup, it should use weight/height/body fat percentage measurements to figure out what weights should be lifted to help beginners. - Limitless access to workout plans for free: Instead of giving limited access to the premium workout plans for free, why not make unlimited workout plans for free but have an ad free option (for premium members) while increasing the number of workouts and data access for premium members..Version: 1.5.1

Best workout app out thereI have been looking for a solid workout personal trainer app for a while. This is by far the best free app out there.Version: 1.0.6

Great guidance and featuresI never rate things, but had to after I got an email from these guys saying that I’ve been using the free version for so long, that they’re giving me the paid version for free for life!! I’ve always loved the free guided workouts, but now I under how valuable the paid version is with all the different ways to improve mobility and strength. I’m very focused on improving and maintaining mobility, so the classes you can go through that are pre-recorded are fantastic. Only thing I think could be added would be some sort of nutrition integration to help people with diets. If they had that, this app would be the complete package, and already has my full support. Thanks Shred!!!.Version: 3.1.6

Top NotchI’ve been in athletics or training my whole life. I’ve been in great shape, ok shape, not so in shape. The two creators of this app and the app itself are beasts. This app brings to light the intensity of how workouts should be as far as training, mind you you can be a beginner, a returnee to fitness and feel totally confident because you have an expert explanation of the exercise, the proper way and technique, and science of the exercise, along with motivational quotes to help push you and get ya through it. You never know what to expect from the workouts, which I love. I just turn on my phone and do what I see. It’s a break from thinking about what I have to do for my workout. I know for sure I’m going to sweat and be challenged. I could go on and on about this app. I use it 3 times a week and I’m a personal trainer who loves diversity, fun, and the competitive spirit when it comes to working out. And I think there’s a certain insanity that the app brings in very fun and effective way for those that desire challenging workouts. You cannot go wrong using this app in your life. It’s a must have when it comes to app workouts. It blows everything else out of the water. Please do yourself a favor and try and use it over and over and over and over. I love it and will always use it Hope you do.Version: 1.0.1

Awesome fitness app! This app is from far the best fitness app I have used until now! The app is very user-friendly with great workouts. It is even possible to switch between multiple training styles to work the muscles differently. Also you can adapt each sessions’ duration with 3 options (either shorter, regular or longer) and you can choose how many time you want to train per week! I highly recommend this app. The only downside is that the app does not have a warm-up option and a stretching option to cool down after a great workout! Still stays the best fitness app I have tried..Version: 1.0.3

NiceIt’s a good free app.Version: 1.7.7

Solid workoutsI’ve been training for over 20 years in one way or another so at times have become a bit stale in my exercise choices. This app definitely keeps things interesting with exercises and routines that push me. Solid workouts and good timeframes and rep ranges. Great app!.Version: 1.1.1

Download this app and don’t look backShred is amazing. After 2 and half years of on and off working out in the gym doing the same boring workouts I finally found something that got me excited to workout again. Different workouts I’ve never done before. Different training styles. Videos and breakdowns of the workouts so you can make sure you have the right form. You can add workouts if you have an active lifestyle like hiking, bike riding, etc. They have body weight workouts if you want to workout at home. They have full dumbbell workouts as well that destroy you. There is also cardio workouts. You can pick how long you want the workout to be too if you are on a time crunch or want to workout extra hard. Literally this app has it all. I’ve had it since September and haven’t stopped using it since..Version: 1.4

Haphazard sequence of exercisesThe exercises seem to be jumbled up all over. Oh end up raising the bench for one dumbbell exercise only to have to lower it for the next, then raise it again. Same with the cable exercises. You spend valuable workout time adjusting heights from top to all the way to the bottom. Then, the duration specified isn’t accurate. It exceeds the time predicted. Looks like these exercises were textbook designed with no thought to practicality. Avoid..Version: 1.7.9

Best workout app out thereAmazing workouts every time.Version: 1.8.8

Solid App—recommend *This is a solid app with a strong amount of customization. I’ve been lifting for years and I’ve don’t mixed martial arts and CrossFit in the past, so I am always hesitant about fitness apps that are supposed to replace experienced and thoughtful workout planning. Surprisingly, for your average or above average athlete, this app doesn’t disappoint. There’s a lot of options for customization of workout length, type, equipment, and location. It tracks your weight for a given lift and let’s you subjectively rate difficulty. Three days into using this, I signed up for a year and I have no regrets! The top features I would like to see that would take this from 4 to 5 stars (if any of these features exist and I haven’t figured them out—I’m sorry! But that would also speak to usability): 1. Allow you to select and save the type of equipment you have available in your gym and your home to decrease the amount of time selecting “alternatives” 2. Allow saving body dimensions and progress photos 3. Allow the “social” aspect to search your contacts or social media to add friends more organically 4. Allow more advanced or involved users to schedule out their workouts ahead of time and offer suggestions of different splits or workout styles—for example, schedule a 8-week bulking phase, then a 4-week cutting plan, etc. etc..Version: 1.8.3

Workout app that makes you sweat! The real testament to how great this app is was the fact that I will probably spend the money on the subscription! This is by far the best workout app that I have had so far. Yes, it may not have as of an extensive exercise library as some but the quality and ease of it all makes it worth it. Being able to choose a set of alternatives, choose your intensity level, and choose the category of your workout based on your goals was awesome. Also having the timers integrated into the workouts and being able to add the weight you were using as you went along makes it so easy to use. The only suggestions that I would make would be to allow the user to go back to the previous exercises in order to add the weight they used. I kept on forgetting to do it and had to even do a workout restart in order to add them. Also adding a feature so that you can change your rep and set scheme would be useful. Other than that, as long as y’all keep adding to the exercise database this app will only get better even without my suggestions..Version: 1.0.4

Best Fitness App I’ve ever used!Everything is really laid out and organised, the app is easy to navigate and gives you alternate exercises if equipment is being used (very valuable in a small gym). I’d also like to mention that it integrates well with your music players and offers you motivational tracks and podcasts. Unlike from the negative reviews I’ve seen, you are definitely not conned into purchasing the subscription service for the app which gives you access to more tailored exercise options and added features but the free version more than has enough features to be worthwhile. Regardless, even if you don’t have enough money to buy the subscribed version for the entire year, I would recommend purchasing the subscription variably - just to show support for the company and its brilliant app..Version: 2.0.1

Great AppGood value for money, keeps you focus even on the off-days when it’s hard work to motivate.Version: 2.7.11

Transformational! The results that Shred have given me are nothing short of transformational. As a classic ectomorph, I have always been a hard gainer. Over the years, I have spent tens of thousands of dollars on personal training. None of those guys, and I mean none, ever gave me the results that I have achieved with Shred. No joke. I am addicted to Shred for so many reasons. The variety of workouts, the choices, the community, the results! My BF and I have both been doing it for 6 months and I can definitely say that we are both turning heads like never before. Honestly I could go on and on about it. The bottom line is you must try it for yourself. You’ll be amazed at how motivated and excited you’ll be to get up every day and Shrrrrreeeeeeeed!!!! Get it today!.Version: 1.0.1

Probably some of the best money I’ve spentI had been using the free version for almost a year and was getting some really good results. The video of each exercise is extremely helpful. Fast forward to COVID and the gyms closing, I decided to splurge on the premium version ($99/year) since I needed some new body weight routines. The routines, the pace and just generally everything fit perfectly together. Routine s were split so that I never overwhelmed a particular muscle group. I saw some of my biggest strength gains using body weight, a kettle bell, and the routines Shred provides. I would really give 4.5 stars if I could. The only thing keeping me from giving it a full 5 would be the camera angles. Video or pictures of the grip used and the attachments for cable exercise would be helpful. I’m glad the gyms are finally open because now I’ve been able to access the rest of the workouts which has really opened up my routines..Version: 2.5.2

Long time userThis app is phenomenal. I’ve been using it for many years since they started up and it’s my go to. I’ve tried several other apps and deleted and always come back to this one. They have the best visuals they feed you the best workouts whether you want to do a quickie or a heavy duty in depth workouts they’re all phenomenal, and I always feel amazing after ! I’ve recommended this to all my close friends, and they’re all loyal users as well now too..Version: 3.1.6

Like having a personal trainer!Love the personalization of the workouts and sequences of the exercises! Awesome work..Version: 1.7.7

Cardio Seems UndervaluedHonestly this app is amazing and has been a complete game changer for me. Awesome workouts, good coaching/guidance, and I’m really enjoying the stretching sessions they added. My only complaint is that it seems like the app doesn’t give you credit for cardio workouts. I like to use the calendar to see my progress and how many days I worked out for the month. But I alternate between cardio days and strength training days, and the app doesn’t show the cardio on the calendar like it does for the strength. I know there can be bias towards favoring strength training in the fitness industry, but I think that cardio can still be excellent exercise and people should be rewarded for having solid cardio workouts..Version: 2.4.3

Amazing, real motivator, getting results.Fitness apps, we all hear about them and we all see them, but what works? I think I’ve tried about 22 different apps and after about 2 months I get bored and move on. I downloaded this app in Feb 2019 and I’m still with it. My body has changed so much, using it 5x a week. Wanna bulk up, the program is there. Tome that body, see the exercises More high intensity, it’s all there. There is such a variety of workouts, intensity, sets, reps etc to change the parts of your body you want to, I’m a person who doesn’t really want to think, just show me what I’m doing and just do it. Don’t pay $90 a session with PT, pay $20 a month, stay motivated and active. You can even add in extra activities that you’ve done, CrossFit, Zumba, etc. The only thing this app needs to do is add 10 minute session to the cardio for a warm up..Version: 1.2.2

PhenomenalFirst of all, I am a high school varsity football player. Used Volt for the past couple months with school, can safely say that SHRED blows it away by a mile and then some. Everything about this app has been designed and has delivered from the top down. The quality and customization level of the workouts is unprecedented. Excellent UI/UX and effective, killer workouts. Love the addition of the programs too. When I'm travelling and don't have access to a gym, I can simply choose "bodyweight" mode and get a high-quality workout with no equipment required. Best part of all of it: it hasn't cost me a penny. Keep it up, team, and thank you for making fitness accessible and challenging me and all others to reach and push past our limits. God bless.Version: 1.0.6

Best exercise app out!Started using shred and completely went from a sloppy, slow workout routine to the lean fast paced weights workout I was really looking for. I went from looking big in the wrong places to ripped in all the right ones. Must have app for anyone wanting a jacuzzi body ALL YEAR ROUND!.Version: 1.1.2

This app is everything!I’ve never written a review for an app before, but I am in love with this app!! Being the type-a personality that I am, I spent hours researching and reading reviews for the best workout app and landed upon this! I’m so glad I found it! The workouts are top notch! This gives me confidence in the gym. I feel like I actually look like I know what I’m doing. I am so sore after all of these workouts. For years I’ve been looking for motivation to workout. I have found it with this app. I get motivated to complete all my workouts for the week. I am excited and look forward to my workout. I am all about efficiency and this app makes your workout efficient. You get the best bang for your buck and have your workout written for you without you having to think about it. Everything in thus app is well thought out from the music integration to the motivational quotes in between sets. My only minor complaint is that the lighting is super poor quality in the demonstration videos. Other than that, what’s not to love!.Version: 1.3

I got a 6 pack in 2 months!I love this app it really suits whatever workout you are into! Whether your at home or the gym... 10/10.Version: 1.5.1

There was four roundsI picked up this app after a friend recommended it to me during the 2020 quarantine it asked me to pay for it once I was done downloading it but it glitches out and I think I don’t have to pay for it now so I started my upper body workout which I thought had three rounds and throughout the first round I was already sweating by the second my carpet was wet and my shirt was soaked then I looked at round three which consisted of bench dips and pushups with jump squats in between and I pushed through even though my shoulders kept popping because I thought I was done the taste of victory was so close yet the second it arrived I realized there was one more round I wanted to quit so bad but pushed through and when i finished the app had the audacity to ask if I wanted to do cardio I am completely gassed and writing this on my floor covered in sweat not my best workout but was no where near the worst and I’d highly recommend this to anyone who has trouble with staying on a schedule because all you need to do is open the app.Version: 1.6.1

Must have for on-the-go lifestyles!I’ve tried a lot of workout apps and programs before, but the one thing I felt they lacked was true variation. I’ve been using Shred for a few months now and my absolute favorite aspect is how many customization options there are. Whether I’m exhausted after a long day at work and want to do a quick twenty minute body weight circuit, or have the day off and want to go the gym and crush it for two hours, Shred enables me to select exactly what I’m feeling. I also think the videos and instructions are clear and concise without slowing the process (and to be honest I chose the positive reinforcement method and I live for the inspirational quotes in between exercises). This is a must have for anybody who has a hectic work schedule but still wants to make fitness a priority, especially if you travel! If you stick to the program, I think it’d be hard not to succeed with Shred..Version: 1.0.1

ShredWoow I got nothing to say any workout you need it’s there 💯💯💯.Version: 2.9.1

Work outThe best program I have ever done.Version: 1.3

Great app, easy to useI got this app because I wanted to try something different for my home gym workouts. It gives a great direct planned out workout, that targets specific areas. It also gives you alternative workouts if you don’t have the equipment or if a certain lift is too adventurous for your taste. Little side note, the inspirational quotes that pop up at the top in between each set of your workout are really cool. Easy enough to figure out, but one thing that might make it hard for people just starting out with lifting is, several of the lifts are things many people might have never done. So you may not know how heavy to go when you try to log them in before you lift. I recommend just take it slow and experiment a little and you’ll get the hang of it, then put in what you want to lift. In short, it’s great easy to use app that puts you in a position to work towards goals, while learning where your limits are and pushing yourself past them..Version: 1.0.6

Amazing! This workout plan has helped immensely to getting to my goal of being ripped. SHRED deserves awards, because it’s helped me win some. The best plan I have ever used. I will continue to SHRED ON!!!.Version: 1.6.1

Better results than any trainerShred has changed my life. The workouts are adaptable to home or gym with dynamic workouts. I love seeing the videos and explanations of exercises so that my form is correct. There are so many different workouts it’s better than any trainer I’ve used. Results are the proof! There are options for styles of workouts and time. Having two kids sometimes I need a home workout for 30 minutes. Shred has that as well as a longer gym workout if I’m able to get to the gym (it also has shorter gym workouts for when I’m in a time crunch). So much amazing content. If you’re looking for a personal trainer experience, but something so much better, then look no further. Shred is by far my favorite app. It’s truly amazing..Version: 1.0.1

Perfect at home pandemic workoutI’m sure I’m not the first and probably won’t be the last to think this is the best no equipment exercise routine I’ve done. I’m not one for classes. I like cardio and and weight lifting is to okay. I am an avid mountain biker and like to stay in shape for that purpose. This is a great all body workout overtime requiring no equipment; just perseverance and guts, mixed with a little bit of suffering. I’m only on day four and have a couple of months to go.I can tell this will be my go to exercise when I resume travel and am in reasonably cramped hotel gyms with a little equipment. Borrow a yoga mat and go out by the pool. That’s all you need. The only downside is you have to follow along and touch your telephone a lot while working out..Version: 1.7.7

Shred lifestyleLove the app! Helps me with my workouts and keeps changing up exercises for me to keep the muscles thinking. Easy to follow with videos if your unsure..Version: 3.1.6

Best workout app so far!Love this app, workouts are great and constantly changing. Wish it had stretching routines as well..Version: 1.7.7

Game changerI’ve used 4-5 different workout apps that never really stuck with me. They have pictures of workouts and different body parts you can choose to hit but that never gave me the confidence I needed. Shred has been my new addiction! The in-depth description of each movement and the coaching tips makes you feel that there’s a personal trainer with you. I love the different styles of workouts you can choose from and the time length you can choose for each workout if you’re in a hurry and just need to get it in. This app keeps me accountable, and keeps track of all my progress. It’s a great social tool to build friendships and to cheer for your friends when they turn it up. And the buddy workouts iS probably my favorite feature. Just scan a barcode with your friend, connect and GET TO WORK! You won’t regret taking this step, it’s been a huge game changer..Version: 1.0.3

Best of all! This is the best fitness app I tried. The great benefit omho is the optimised way that the exercises are bundled to minimise equipment switches. I love it. I don’t have to keep competing for equipments; also, I don’t need to have a full fledged gym since the equipments are basic, and still, the exercises are very versatile. The improvements I could suggest are: - warm up; - cool down/stretching at the end of a workout (like HIIT and Cardio options); - register for medical conditions to avoid or minimize certain types of exercises. For example, I got a bulging disc and some days I would like to do legs but avoid squats (perhaps can keep the same training set but advocate replacement options/tips for an exercise for your medical condition)..Version: 1.7.9

ExerciseGreat great great thanku shred.Version: 1.6.2

Best training app I’ve foundI’ve tried a lot of training apps. A LOT. I basically look for an app that will provide me a good workout routine for 40 minutes that I don’t have to “think about”. SHRED is a personal trainer in an app. It’s the only training app I paid for within the first week of the trial, it’s that good. The best part about this app and it’s design is that it keeps the supersets in the same area of the gym. So many apps will have you superset and you’re running around the gym. Nope. No time for that. SHRED has you do a superset of exercises in one area- cables, dumbbells- then you move to the next circuit. No running around praying someone doesn’t take your machine while you step away. It also has a great option should you be done with your circuit and move to the next, but the machine or area is unavailable, it will give you alternatives. There’s a demonstration video of the exercise available at each rep. The customization of the app is well done too. You can choose which type of training you want - CrossFit, classic weightlifting, HIIT - the time you have to spend, if you want to add cardio at the end. The only nitpick I have and the reason for 4 stars is that while I can log my weight with each exercise, I can’t change the reps. Maybe I haven’t found that yet but it would help to track actual reps to monitor growth. You won’t regret getting this app..Version: 1.1.2

Best Fitness AppHands down the best fitness app I’ve tried, would definitely recommend for both experienced gym members as well as beginners..Version: 1.5.0

An app for everyone 😊Need more exercises for beginners and some exercises showed need better lighting.Version: 1.7.4

This is funI really enjoy these workouts and it feels hard but gets easier after a bit.Version: 1.7.9

Responsive and comprehensive trackingThis is a GOOD app BUT… it doesn’t seem to exhaustively update sets across multiple days/programs consistently. So if I do cable let pull down on back day but then add it on another day, it doesn’t always reflect what I did the last time. Additionally, it doesn’t seem as balanced as it could be. I find it focusing too much on certain parts of a muscle group but not others. One example: the exterior/under side of my pecs seem neglected. No dips of any kind included. It also neglects some of those micro, stabilizers AND any/all warm-up/cool-downs and muscle group specific stretches. I’ve found myself getting little injuries and strains more from this app than other programs from past trainers or apps (confirmed by my physical therapist that the programs are imbalanced… and he treats Broadway dancers and professional athletes for a living)..Version: 2.4.3

Incredibly ReliableThis has to be one of the best workout apps and guides to working out I’ve utilized so far. My only issue is the app won’t let me access the social tab or the other tabs at the bottom. Other than that though the app is amazing. It helps you figure out what workouts to do, helps motivate you by showing other people cheering you on, and it’s neatly organized. What I love most is the video examples of each workout and the fact that it lets you have alternate options if a workout in that specific category can’t be done at the moment. (Somebody is using that piece of equipment or you just don’t wanna do that specific workout it for example.) I also love how it tells you what days you worked out on so you know if you need to get back in the gym a bit more or what days you did what workout on. Still a fairly new user but I recommend this app to anybody looking to get shredded, lose some weight, or bulk up. This is where to start!.Version: 1.3

Great app, free or not.It doesn’t force adds, which for me is huge, and is all around a fantastic companion for the gym. Adam(the model/trainer you’ll see) is shredded(which I love to joke about) and shows you proper form with gifs, and explanation. Since form is more important than weight this is huge for people unfamiliar with the plethora of exercises they have. The programs and rotations are great, it’s literally like having a trainer plan out your stuff for you. I also like that you can create customer sessions to focus on what you want. All in all I saw great results from this, and it was a good motivation tool too. I also like the way it breaks down rest in between sessions; not in a general way, but if it’s trying to push a fast rep after heavy weight cycle it’s short, etc. So even the rest periods are tailored to the workout. Get the app, it’s the best free or not I think..Version: 2.0.1

Love itI am only 28 or 29 workouts in, but I love it. Great app.Version: 1.8.7

Shred reviewGood app, but after a little while of using it for free the workouts change a lot and have different types, should definitely stop that but overall good..Version: 1.7.3

AmazingI was struggling to come up with workouts for my self but this does it all for me.Version: 2.2.1

Kyle GroulxDope app.Version: 1.4.3

Looks good, feels soreThis app looks the part for sure, but can it deliver on its promises? Yep, it can, the workouts are easy, hard or brutal, you decide (it’s worth turning on the intense training too for the ‘profanity’). Huge selection of workouts and the plans are great too especially because you can customise the time you have to train and the style each day, it’s not always going to be a 30 minute dawdle, sometimes you might go big and smash out the 65 minuter. Cool app, lost a star for no Apple Watch connectivity (that I could see? I’ll change it if I’m wrong though!) and the kinda high price. Try it. It’s awesome..Version: 1.0.3

Really impressedMuch better than I expected. It’s reinvented the way I workout. I train more and with greater intensity. Loads of variety, definitely recommend..Version: 3.3.0

Quality App. Worth the purchaseBought it about two months ago. Noticing a major difference with my size. Easy and very helpful to keep track of workouts. Definitely worth the purchase. Have already recommended it to a bunch of mates..Version: 1.2.1

One of the bestThis is one of the best workout apps I have used. The diversity of exercises that this app offers is unmatched..Version: 1.8.5

Great for beginners!I’ve never really been to the gym, aside from the two times my brother got me to go (he’s a personal trainer. I can’t go to him every week though because I live an hour away). The main reason is because I was honestly scared. Scared of what people would think of me, scared of not making enough improvement, and mostly scared of making a fool of myself because I simply don’t know how to use the equipment. This app is great because you can choose your workout style and how long you want to work out and the coaching style. It explains how to use the equipment so I at least LOOK like I know what I’m doing. I don’t go to the gym everyday but I’ve gone more times in the past couple of weeks than I have in my whole life and I love how alert I feel after a morning workout. The only critique I have is I wish the app would let you select your gender. I’m a female with a fairly large chest and some of the things that have you on your stomach is pretty much impossible for me to do without pain and I usually end up skipping those, meaning I’m not getting my full workout sometimes. But that’s really the only issue I’ve come across..Version: 1.2.1

Great app!Super helpful!.Version: 1.7.7

The best workout app I ever usedI have been doing gym and body exercises for 22 years and I started to use Shred 5 years ago. Loved it so much at that time and became better and better during the years. With Shred you won’t need any pt. Shred supported me during the COVID time with body weight workouts and I stay feet and motivated in all lockdown we had in Sydney Australia. Thanks a lot shred🫶🏻💪🏼.Version: 3.1.6

Garbage customer support and fraudulent billingI had to change my payment due to my debit card being stolen. When I did, I was charged $99 for the yearly subscription, which I did not approve and did not want. I reached out to customer support and received absolutely no response. Today, I was issued a charge for a monthly subscription!!! And clearly I can’t get anything done about it because they don’t respond!!! 🤬🤬🤬 Like the app fine but don’t want to deal with them because of the way this has been handled!!! UPDATE: Michael from Shred reached out promptly after receiving my email re: the billing issue. The confusion was that Apple had billed me and Shred was also billing me. He apologized, explained the confusion, and promptly refunded my payments that been charged. I felt valued as a customer and like they really did care and want to make things right. I’m glad to be able to stay with Shred as I really love the app and all it has to offer!.Version: 3.1.6

Train hard, gain hardNice training app! If you are expert or not, this app follow you and adjust what it’s your objectif! If you want to push the hardest you can, be ready….Version: 2.5.2

Use this app!Shred is the best workout app I’ve used by far, and I’ve tried a few. The layout, the content and the features all make it easy to use and give you real guidance for your workouts. The custom workouts feature is great and accommodates for when you need toe squeeze in a quick session or for when you have time to settle in and pace it out. The social features also make you feel connected to a community with the same goals and mentality. Get this app.Version: 3.1.5

Extremely VersatileI know a good bit about fitness and how to design an effective training routine, but as I’ve recently gone back to school, scheduling time in to design and constantly tweak an effective routine for myself has been unrealistic. Searched for an alternative for a while, but nothing I’ve found offers anything near the flexibility and versatility of this app. It just covers everything, no matter what the goal is, no matter how much time you have to get it done. It includes so much even without the subscription. The social features are very cool too. Above all, the workouts are consistently challenging and dynamic. The muscle group of the day will get worked from a variety of angles and rep ranges (the key to achieving well-rounded fitness) and it encourages good habits outside of the app as well. I’m a very active person, so the app's function for adding in “activity” from your day is very useful for tracking purposes. One of my very favorite features that this app offers is the ability to look back over extended periods of time to see which muscle groups are getting the most work to know if you’re succeeding in keeping a balanced routine. There’s just so much here, even without a sub. You won’t find the quality of these workouts or the intuitive thoughtfulness of this app anywhere else. The motivational quotes between sets are epic too. Everything about the app has focus and intentionality at the forefront..Version: 1.7.7

Best free workout appWould be 5 if there was an option to select equipment we have at home, and then a workout is made tailored to that.Version: 1.5.1

Changed my bodyThis app is the best thing that has every happened to me! I would use this over the gym any day. It keeps me motivated and it pushes me every day to go the extra mile. I am getting so much stronger every week and losing weight at the same time. My triceps have never had this much muscle and my squats have never been this low. I am so happy I found this app! Thank you so much! :).Version: 1.7.1

Really impressedSo I have done many online coaching/ gym apps. And by far this one has been love at first site! Download, use the free trial and it’s all explained. I am so motivated to train ❤️.Version: 1.4.5

By far the best workout app I have ever seenI used to have a personal trainer before covid. After a couple years I knew I needed to get back into working out but I just didn't have the motivation because I have so much difficulty figuring out what to do. It was just too complicated for me to remember and what weights and everything. So I just didn't go. Then I thought about a workout app because I had completely forgot they existed to be honest and I downloaded this and it's literally exactly like having a personal trainer. It's insane and even better in some aspects because you log your weight you're using and everything and you can see what you did in the past. It's absolutely amazing and it's exactly what I needed for motivation to get back into working out. And the app is beautiful and extremely well designed! So impressed! THANK YOU!!!.Version: 2.7.1

Finally...an app that just works!I've worked out my whole life. And it's always been a pain to have to think about and plan out my workout every day. Not just WHAT to do, but remembering what I did last time and trying to track gains. It was also always a challenge to get in and out of the gym efficiently. SHRED changed all that. Now I literally show up to the gym, open the app, and do what it says. It keeps track of my progress, keeps me moving through my workouts with a timer, and encourages me to push myself the whole way through. I've tried just about every app out there, and this app is by far the best one. And it's a lot cheaper than a personal trainer. They also are investing in their app, making new updates often. I always look forward to the next update...because they seem to be listening to their members and making the app ever better than it already is. Not only is the app an awesome workout app, but the company is amazing as well. It's easy to ask a question or report a bug. And they answer quickly and make you feel like a person, not just a "trouble ticket". Shred team...keep up the great work. I'm a disciple for life!.Version: 3.3.1

ExcellentI’m really enjoying this app. It does everything for me and shows me the exercises if I don’t know how to do them. One suggestion I have would be to be able to include/add equipment I have on hand (ex: Mini bands, TRX, dumbbells, medicine ball etc.) and generate exercises using this equipment to keep things diverse and avoid getting bored with the same exercises over and over again..Version: 2.9.1

This app is amazing! This app is very good and definitely the best free one , I hope it stay like that unlike the app “30 day fitness😂”. I’m a 15 year old student and I’ve really enjoyed pushing myself using this app. I’ve used this app for about a week and I’m feeling very good about myself however I believe this app could be even better with nutrition plans and home workouts. I believe with these two things this would be the be the best fitness app in the world. I’m really impressed 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽.Version: 1.5.0

ChallengingBe honest about your abilities even if it’s where you think you are...get challenged.Version: 1.5.1

This is an amazing app!!When I tried the 7 day free trial I couldn’t help but sign up for the subscription after. The workouts are intense and after I feel toned and amazing. This app definitely has you sweating. The settings are excellent in that you can pick your pace and whether you are home or at the gym. In just 30 days I’ve notice awesome results. I look forward to what I will see in my body as I continue to use this app. I was new at HIIT workouts and the how to quick videos were a great help. Highly recommend!!.Version: 1.7.9

Great appGreat app I’ve tried multiple fitness apps and paid to do so I’ve done Vshred which is absolutely amazing and now the shred app both of which are fantastic the shred app is very easy to use and offers a lot of great and diverse workouts ranging from simple home workouts to complex gym workouts. One of the best features is having people able to cheer you on during a workout which is that added motivation..Version: 1.4.5
