Never worksSo frustrating, so many glitches.Version: 4.1

Works half the timeResy constantly has issues on both the customer side and the restaurant side. Half the time when we try to book a reservation it says lock timeout fail ID. We have no idea what that means but it’s extremely frustrating to not be able to make a reservation for a guest on RESERVATION app! I’ve contacted them countless times and it’s still not fixed. We’ve had resy for 2 years, some things work some don’t. Annoying.Version: 3.37

Bad updateThis last update ruined the app - I can’t access some of the tables on my floor plan because it won’t let me pan out for some reason, and the view of the tables/turn times seems to have regressed, making it look very outdated.Version: 4.30

BewareShocking App. Doesn’t let you add tables to floor plan. Doesn’t take card payments and will ask you to take card details, even though you have. Support is poor. You show them screen shots and they still do not offer help. My customers have been complaining that it makes them sign up, then states the password is wrong, when They’ve just done it. Once you’ve signed the contract, support is no where to be seen. Regret getting RESY for my business. I wish I stuck to pen and paper..Version: 4.14

BugsLike many apps, when updates are made new “bugs” or glitches arise. Newest update (9/2022) affected iPhone floor plans, but tablets seemed to be unaffected. Little annoyances like screen shifting have been resolved, but some reservation “defaults” persist and guest search is the absolute worst. CS prior to Amex and their out-sourced service was so much more localized and responsive. Now if you have a problem, it’s a scripted, “did you try this first….” Automated response. When chatting with CS reps it rarely gets resolved and ends with disappointment or “we have relayed your concern to our developers” kind of answer. Resy has so much potential, though, and the price is right so it is difficult to get too worked up over it..Version: 4.30

New UpdateSince the update, half of the app’s essential components won’t load. It’s the same on all the devices we’ve tried it on. I can’t even assign sections to servers..Version: 4.0

Vertical orientation gone with new updatePlease fix!! New update won’t allow the app to operate in vertical (upright) screen orientation. Very bad for restaurants that have iPad stands..Version: 4.30

Unusable! Stay way.Cannot change reservations. Cannot change status. 500 errors. Support is no where to be found. Way to go AMEX … taking care of small business. Monday will be the day I speak with TOCK and stop taking AMEX. Thanks for undermining our success..Version: 4.43

MediocreThe fact that you can’t search for a guest name, you *have* to use a telephone number to start a reservation, is completely inefficient and ridiculous. I’m really hoping they change this soon..Version: 3.28.0

New update sees daily crashesEveryday since the update there have been major issues. For a platform backed by AMEX it it’s quite silly that they can’t get this fixed. I have instructed my staff to delete and reinstall everyday to skip the data errors, the un-updated reservations, and not being able sit walk-in tables (just to name a few). I’m willing to update my review once RESYos updates the bugs..Version: 4.2

Horrible experienceSales and tech staff are of zero assistance, hard to use, hard to train on. Locked into a long contract with zero assistance from sales. Don’t waste your money.Version: 4.12
