Personally I would like to see a Rugby Filter because I’m a big fan haha. I know during the elections news is flooded with politics anyways, but I feel fairly limited to sports and politics. As a creative and gear head I would love more categories for art and cars. ✓ PLEASE READ⭐️🤯I’ve been looking for a news app for some time that keeps me well informed without taking too much of my time. I’ve tried twitter and reddit and many more but this is so far my favorite. The app is very simple and pulls articles from notable news sources all over that are catered to my own interests and important happenings. A few things that I would like for the app in the future: the ability to add more categories to my interests as well as create custom categories, the ability to save articles on the app to reference later, and the app opens the article in the browser directly rather than bringing me to the river web client. ✓ 🎉You Need This App🎉I really didn’t think I should download another news app, but a friend of mine insisted that I needed to download River. I must say, I’m not disappointed in the least. You take a few minutes in the beginning to select what interests you and that’s it. Now every time you open River, you get the news you care about. ✓ Really goodI love this app. I use it pretty much every day. If you want just news it’s perfect. Some pros are it has pretty good personalization, as in it won’t take long for the for you to gear forwards what you like, and slowly but surely add in new things. It also has a pretty easy share feature Some cons though are swiping from one headline to another is a little finicky. Also, there isn’t a “save for latter” feature, which I think would be best used for a news type of app best. The ability to save a specific article, and bring it up quickly if you ever mention it would be helpful. These don’t ruin the experience, just a little annoying..Version: 0.1.65

✓ Makes reading the news funI’ve been using River to follow news stories on topics I care about (mainly US politics/news, but also more niche areas) and I’m particularly impressed by what seems to be the very advanced machine learning algorithm that backs the app. I don’t know much about NLP, but the relevance of each story to my fields of interest is high, and it’s really easy to discover new content.
