You have to payCant access the app without paying.Version: 1.11.5

Is it worth it?I installed this app but haven’t tried it as there is no option to try out the features without giving my details and creating an account that I won’t use if I find the app isn’t suitable for my needs. I think it looks good, though I’m not sure because the App Store listing and screenshots show little to distinguish it from apps with similar features and no account requirement..Version: 1.13.6

Have to payI downloaded this app and deleted right away you have to pay before you can use it i would rather by a paper calendar.Version: 1.12.0

Unable to cancel subscription, app not workingAfter signing up for the two week free trial, which assured me that my card wouldn’t be charged until the two week free trial ended, I started using the app only to find I couldn’t perform the most basic functions, such as adding an appointment. Any action I attempted resulted in an error message, including saving appointments, setting reminders, syncing calendars.. I tried to unsubscribe and apart from being a lot harder than it should be to navigate this process, the end result was that I was unable to unsubscribe as there was no link to do so, despite following the instructions to-the-letter! I submitted a request for help and the support team simply sent me the same instructions! Very frustrating. To top it off I received an email confirming my ‘subscription’ with payment starting immediately, with no mention of the free trial!? Be very wary of signing up for a free trial. I will note that I used to have a subscription and was using Artful Agenda for a few months and when it’s working it’s a wonderful app. Therefore, I will change my one-star rating once this issue is resolved and I can be sure my card won’t be charged..Version: 1.8.10

Good For Google SyncingI have to admit that I loved this app in the beginning, but the more I got into it the more I realized I wanted that wasn’t available. There aren’t very many sticker packs included in the subscription fee and I didn’t love the ones available (I felt like I was settling when decorating). I also didn’t like how the mobile version of my desktop browser was so squished. I would try and make it pretty one on version only to not look great on the other. The backgrounds are a similar situation; cute, but there weren’t enough options (especially free) for me to find something I really liked. This app is good at the thing it promises: it syncs with Google and other calendars and makes it cute. It also has a cool tasks feature (which I felt was a bit clunky on mobile). I love this idea, but I ended up finding an app that didn’t make me feel like I was settling for a cute, digital planner and was marginally more expense for many more sticker/cover/decoration options..Version: 1.12.5

ExpensiveI was looking to change over to a digital planner that had the same functionality as my paper planner. This one fit most of my criteria. I ultimately went back to my paper planner because of price and convenience. I would have liked to purchase one month rather than the entire year. It is hard to decide if a planner is right for you in just a weeks time (the trial) and I had to purchase an entire year subscription. After about 3 months, I knew the planner wasn’t fitting my needs so the option to pay for a smaller increments would of been nice. Some of my favorite things: -being able to rollover unfinished tasks -multiple sections to keep work, family, and personal items separated Drawbacks -had to continually switch back and forth between my planner and work tasks on the iPad -the cost of the digital planner is more than the cost of my paper planner -there were some error messages where items weren’t moved properly and then lost (which turned out to be a much larger problem when the items weren’t properly on the planner when I needed them).Version: 1.12.16

It said a free trial and I’ve been charged!I hope I get a refund because I signed up for the trial but was charged the yearly fee..Version: 1.15.6

Forced to link to other calendarsI wanted a calendar that I could keep separate from my other calendars but there’s no option to just use the app without signing in with one of your emails and it automatically connecting to that calendar. I don’t understand why I can’t use this as a stand alone calendar, I don’t need everything to be integrated with all my other apps all the time..Version: 1.13.4

Annoying at bestI’ve had this planner for a couple of weeks now and it’s annoying. There is a sync error message popping up on EVERY SINGLE SCREEN. I have removed the calendar that the error message relates to and the tech support can’t help, literally every time I go to a new page it pops up again. It’s so annoying it ruins the planner completely. Don’t bother!.Version: 1.12.8

On its way to greatness! This is the seed of a great app but several things are preventing me from recommending it at this point. #1–the stickers are a unorganized, ugly and do not stay precisely where placed—not on the same device and not from one device to another, they seem to snap to some predetermined location just off of where I actually placed them. I want aesthetically pleasing stickers with precise placement—the whole upside of this app over other calendars is supposed to be the pretty factor yes? #2-so much wasted screen space! On both the iPad and desktop. The leafy background is pretty but wastes screen real estate to the point where I can’t read my calendar, even on my 16” MacBook. #3-the price is outrageous, it doesn’t offer $4/month in value over just using Google or Apple calendars. ...For now I will continue to use my GoodNotes digital planner and wait for this app to mature and get significantly cheaper. It has a fantastic idea but it just wasn’t functional enough to pay a premium monthly price for—yet! Keep the updates coming and I’ll be back to check it out next year :).Version: 1.5.4

Doesn’t put in accurate timesI wish I could love this app but when I put in times for specific things like work or events, it randomly changes the time once I save it and shows up differently on the calendar. Too bad because it’s a beautiful looking app, but it’s not accurate..Version: 1.10.2

Awesome calendarI have been using Artful Agenda for a few months now and I love it. It synchronises with my existing Google calendar which is great but the fun part is choosing covers and using stickers. The app is getting better all the time with new features being added on a regular basis. You can download and try out the app for free until you decide if it is for you. Please feel free to use my referral code to get a free cover and sticker pack. RP106071..Version: 1.8.1

Ridiculously expensiveRATED ZERO STARS. Many devs are choosing not to go with subscription models (which are becoming increasingly unpopular) as now users are waking up to this scam.. not so long ago, even the most complex of apps were just a couple pounds (at most). Then came along the subscription model (thank you Adobe!) where you never owned the app and are forced to sign up to keep paying for something you’ve already paid for. THIS IS A SCAM UNLESS THE DEVELOPER HAS TO PAY A 3rd PARTY FOR A SERVICE THAT FORMS PART OF THE APP. I WILL NEVER USE THIS APP AS LONG AS THERE IS A SUBSCRIPTION MODEL IN PLACE. ITS NOT THE RESPONSIBILITY OF CUSTOMER TO KEEP YOUR CASH FLOW HEALTHY IN YOUR COMPANY. Make a good app, make one charge for it, and if you’ve done your job well, someone might buy it. RIP OFF..Version: 1.12.16

Heads up for app costThis app should be providing a heads up of any costs involved prior downloading..Version: 1.7.3

Horrible and Frustrating to useI’ve had the worst experience with this app. I’ve canceled my subscription so it doesn’t auto renew at the end of the year. Not user friendly at all..Version: 1.11.3

Like it but something is missingI like this app. It had everything I wanted in a calendar app. One of the main things was the fact that you can block out time in your calendar and sync with your other calendars. I also love that we can change the hex codes to coordinate with the colors we want. I just wished I could save all the colors I chose so I don’t have to write down the color codes somewhere else. Also, the meal section seems to have a glitch. Only a third of the box works. The rest of it you can’t even type on. The other task section doesn’t move to the next line when whatever you type is longer than the width of the box. That really annoyed me. I also wished there was an option to upload your own stickers to the app because I’m not a big fan of the stickers that they offer. All in all, it worked well but not for the yearly price. I think I will continue to search for the perfect planner app and stick to my digital planner on my GoodNotes app until I find something worth paying for..Version: 1.8.3

Apple Pencil supportIt should have an option for handwriting with Apple Pencil for iPad :(.Version: 1.10.1

Nope, don’t do itI have spent from November to March trying to get support for multiple entries, entries that won’t erase, entries that disappear and reappear entries that wont appear. I was using this as my work calendar. This caused several scheduling issues. Immediately contacted support in November. Each email I received from “support“ asked me to jump through more and more hoops. This seemed like a lot of work for the customer on top of having an incorrect calendar. I immediately returned each email and would wait at least a week for a response. I did everything I asked of me to no avail. At one point my ticket was lost and waited weeks for a response that I never did receive. Tech support was eventually offered to me but only Sat or Sunday or 8pm at night. I have used several other calendar apps without issue in the past. This is not user error. Only entries made in the Artful Agenda app caused issues (tried to convince me it was an Apple or other calendar issue). Currently using Tiny Calendar with no issues. I would not recommend this app if you want an accurate calendar. As of today, no refund has been made despite repeated requests..Version: 1.13.3

Subscription cost & syncing requiredYou have to sign up to pay a subscription but get 2 weeks trial, so you can cancel beforehand if you don’t want continue using it. However to use the calendar you also have to sync it with at least 1 account - Apple, Google or Microsoft. This means they have access to & can use your info in there. There is no option to use the calendar if you don’t want to sync an account, you simply can’t access it until you do. Shame, because it looks nice. Not the easiest to navigate through. Needs improvement & less barriers to use..Version: 1.8.0

DisappointedI really do not like these apps that want your credit card upfront to even try the app. It is discouraging. I like to actually be able to see what the app has to offer before I give that personal info. I will be deleting it from my phone without even giving it a try for this reason.Version: 1.13.3

Faulty AFThis app isn’t worth the money! Absolute waste of time and energy!.Version: 1.12.8

Don’t botherHonestly, I was quite hyped for this originally but I tried to adjust something and it completely wiped my calendar. After having used it for months, it’s all gone..Version: 1.12.14

Free trial- charged automatically before trial period endedAfter signing up for the free trial, I was automatically charged for an entire years subscription on the same day (not after 2 weeks)..Version: 1.12.0

No widget for iPhoneAnnoying not having a widget available for iPhone.Version: 1.12.5

EDITED! I'm an hour inEdit: Rating dropped from 5 stars to one, due to a continuing issue with Apples app specific password, and tech support being non responsive for a month. Good app, many bugs that make using the software much less appealing. Wish I could get a refund. And I already know I'll be continuing to use this app. I've been hunting for an ADHD friendly digital planner, and this is the best I've found. The ONLY negatives I can find is that I wish there was either a tab with pages we could choose to include or not (goal tracking, savings planning, etc., but not everyone uses all of them, so the option to include them or not would be nice), a "Monthly preview" that asks you to set goals and plan for them, and "monthly review" page for each month that asked "Which goals did you accomplish? What goals are moving on to the next month? What are you grateful for this month?" I feel that really helps me stay mindful and present. Other than those things, I REALLY like this app. The quotes are a nice touch, I love the color coding, and the stickers are easy to use and fun. The yanks for making something my brand of neurospicy can understand!.Version: 1.13.2

Love this app!I’ll give it 5 stars once there’s the ability to add photos into a list (that will stay there). This has really helped me get organized!!.Version: 1.9.2

Can’t loginNot sure why but I can’t login with my Apple ID this app is not user friendly at all! Why not just let me sign in?.Version: 1.11.3

Beautiful concept but...I love a planner. I love organising my days and weeks, adding pretty colour coding, ticking off my tasks as I go. But let’s face it, carrying a bulky paper planner around everywhere you go isn’t always that convenient. I’ve searched for a while to find a digital planner that not only looked nice but was functional. To date, Google has been my go to, although it’s creative capabilities are limited to say the least. When I saw Artful Agenda advertised on Facebook, it seemed perfect, so I quickly signed up to the free trial, willing to shell out the £3.99 a month subscription fee if it was what I needed. On face value, it is. I love being able to see my monthly, weekly and daily calendars at the tap of a tab, and the list functionality is a bonus. I love being able to see my weekly meal planner at a glance, and being able to seamlessly import my Google calendars - including my external work calendar - is great. I thought the little stickers were cute, and the choice of covers and fonts, although limited, was a nice touch. But now to the negative. Events are disappearing after being added and re-added multiple times. The cover I choose on my iPad does not transport to my iPhone, which, okay, isn’t a huge problem, but I would have thought the two calendars would sync. I have tapped out huge lists, only for them to disappear, and randomly receive meal planner error messages, despite not having added more than a day or two. I feel that it really lacks that wow factor that sets it apart from the likes of Google or the iPhone calendar platform - I would love to be able to change font colour, maybe highlight specific notes or at least be able to make them bold. Personally, it’s not worth the subscription fee for me, and I won’t be continuing beyond the free trial..Version: 1.5.0

Nice idea but doesn’t workI have to sign up to the program before I can use it, before even looking at it. I did, but I kept getting errors. I couldn’t even add a simple event it kept disappearing..Version: 1.8.12

None of my logins workI’d love to try this app out but none of my calendar logins work. Try all of the cloud options, nothing worked. I’m not spending hours trying figure this out. The point of an app like this is to organise time and when I can even get through the signup process…..Version: 1.10.1

Great idea but lackingI bought a year subscription in June and used the app for the last couple of months. The good: I love that I can look at the monthly view and actually see my appointments and not just dots. The weekly and daily views are great too. And I like being able to add in to-do lists and meals. The bad: I can’t add travel time—this is big for my family, especially during sports season when some games are an hour away. I’ve also noticed that repeated events don’t always show up on the calendar on all the days. When I open the event, all the days are there, but the colored bar ends a day short. I ended up adding a separate event just to get it to show on the last day. Lastly, when I’m adding events my options don’t always stay selected. I go through adding the title, changing the color, and setting the time, only to find that something didn’t stay how I set it. When I’m adding a lot of things, I don’t want to have to go back and reselect options. This is a really beautiful app and such a great idea. Unfortunately, it’s just not functional enough for me right now, so I’m going back to Apple calendar..Version: 1.13.15

Some nice featuresWould love to be able to use handwritten notes! More stickers would be good they make the pages easy to see what’s going on using the stickers for certain events..Version: 1.8.6

Good but could use improvement!Although I genuinely enjoy this app, I feel like there are several improvements that need to be made in order for it to be great. My main criticism is pretty small — I would like to be able to customize the quotes that are autogenerated. Some of the quotes that come up are by people who I know to be historical figures that I have strong political disagreements with. This ruins the experience for me, and I would love to be able to simply edit and put my own quote there. I also think the alarms should be more customizable. Currently, I am only able to set alarms for 9 AM, which is not very helpful in terms of reminding me for an appointment. I would also appreciate the ability to synchronize with people using other software, such as google calendars. I prefer this to google calendars, but I would like to be able to sync with other people who use it and invite them to edit my events. Other than that, I appreciate this app’s usability and how it lets me customize my day..Version: 1.8.9
