✓ Awful port of a beautiful gameWith my deepest respect to the developers - this port is absolutely awful. Zero work has been put into place for making the app mobile friendly, even the UI is unchanged, it shows “press ESC to return”, zooming on the map is impossible and the buttons throughout the app are so small that half of the time you die because you can’t tap exactly on those few pixel buttons. This makes the gameplay pure frustration. Dodging, switching between attacks, let alone just walking and jumping around are total hit and miss, you have a 50% of dying because of the clunky UI. Folks, if you charge for this game, please put some work into actually making it mobile friendly. Dead Cells managed to do it, so surely you can too.._Mere_Version: 1.0.0

✓ Amazing! However, suffers from small text syndromeIt looks like there’s a menu item for it, but it just stays at 100%. Update: checking with a controller it shows this can only be lowered to 90%…ridiculous! I would love to be able to increase this to 150 or 200%, a lot of the text is just way too freaking small. I’m on a 12 Pro. The weapon descriptions are especially impossible to read. The weapon power ratings are insanely freaking small on the thumbnails. ✓ Beautiful game, bad controlsControls are so small, I constantly find myself frantically tapping the control area trying to hit the right skill button - which happens to be almost microscopic - and take huge damage or miss a ledge because my finger is off by a few pixels. ✓ MehSo it’s been 2 years since this dropped… no clue why the developers have decided not to have any post-release updates, especially with the number of devices that the AppStore caters to, there’s bound to be some issues with every game that is released… It just seems incredibly short sighted to sit there and say “our game is 100% perfect at launch, no updates needed” when you decide to port your game over to the iOS. It’s a shame too, because premium titles are really taking off right now… and this could have been a great addition to the onslaught of titles that are high quality, worthy of a higher than normal price tag, wholly premium games that have come out over the last few years and look like they will be coming out even more frequently going forward (which means it’ll be even harder to gain a foothold). ✓ DisappointedI was so excited to try this but as soon as I opened the game I frowned.. The writing is so small, even on the start screen it’s ridiculous to try and open the menus never mind play the game. After finally tapping my way to start the game the buttons are so numerous and tiny, you can’t even move the joystick over so your thumb has to be right in the corner, if there is a way to have a floating joystick I haven’t figured it out. It’s pretty much unplayable. It’s like they ported it over and didn’t try it out on a phone at all. Maybe it’ll be alright on an iPad but I’m not even sure about that. Wow..Aco88Version: 1.0.0

✓ Needs better controlsSo far it’s a great game. But the touch controls keep it from being a great game. The buttons are way too small. Which makes it so that a good portion of the time you miss hitting them. They allow you to change the placement of the buttons and adjust the size of the whole screen. What it really needs is the ability to change the size of the buttons. You can’t increase the size of the buttons by themselves. I’m hoping this is fixed in an update. In a game like this being able to hit the buttons consistently matters. Being able to increase button size would make a huge difference. I’ll update this review if that feature ever comes. Update: it works way better with a controller. However, the game is weird how it assigns numbers for buttons. It says press “4” to confirm. Do you have to figure out which button is 4. Also, RB is labeled “LB”. I still wish touch controls were better..GabeGaneVersion: 1.0.0
