✓ Great app but we got a few things we need to discussYes this app is great love the people Ive me. Why is that if I'm listening to music and I go open the SLS app the music pauses. I play it again , I go back to the app the music stop. The only time the music will stay playing is after the app has loaded and it's the home page. But just cause you go into a different app the music in the background shouldn't just stop on its own. I would like if I'm signed into the safari, when I click save password, SAVE THE LOGIN INFO. Why do I gotta keep logging in and closing save the login info? If I blocked somebody, when I log in I shouldn't see their profile under my viewed me or who's near me. If you're blocked there shouldn't be anymore or any kind of interaction between the parties. There's this glitch with the app connection or software where outta nowhere the app will crash and nothing will load, " server error no connection retry". I got T-Mobile so I know it ain't me. When I'm searching for new people what ever filter I used I want it to stay the same when I'm going back and forth between profiles. Y'all need to update ALOT !.OHHHHHKTHENVersion: 8.1.2

✓ MehIt’s very buggy. Doesn’t sync well with website in many areas. Instead of trying to continually introduce new features maybe consider overhauling the app and making sure what you have currently actually works. Their updates take forever between releases and even the feedback and support functionality crashes lol. The main site is archaic and the app has potential but the execution is garbage. There are much better, smoother and more modern platforms out there. ✓ It’s nice could be betterHere is one example , who viewed me , every time I have to change the setting to say any on pictures to see who all looked , don’t know why it’s not a setting that is saved once you select it. Second , if I sign in on the app it might say nobody sent a message , if I turn around and sign in on the laptop I might have 2 messages that the app didn’t see , not sure why that is but 30 seconds later there on the laptop and not on the app and I checked the app first kinda odd But I like the fast look on the app , but there fixing stuff on it every week I think so maybe it will get fixed soon.JerrylovestoVersion: 7.2.8

✓ AwfulThis app is loaded with technical issues and does not work. It constantly has errors and can’t do its basic functions like open, show messages, add photos, and report technical issues. YET it somehow manages to collect your monthly payment! It just doesn’t provide what it claims it will once it collects your $20. I’m not sure what the point is in paying for it since the money seems to go only to someone’s pocket and not to operating this stupid thing. Obviously I’m requesting a refund, but I doubt I will receive it. Don’t download it!! Don’t pay for a subscription!! ✓ Not what it should/could be!Been attempting to use this app for 2 years. Website is robust in comparison. Been waiting and hoping updates would correct the deficiencies that are blatantly obvious. “Who viewed me” does not update for months on the mobile app. Picture upload has many issues. ✓ It’s good when it keeps your membershipI like the community on this site, I’ve been able to meet some excellent people, which is the only reason I keep trying with the app. There’s a major flaw where my paid membership keeps wrongly reverting to a free one, disabling the features that make the app viable for meeting others. ✓ OutdatedThis platform was created in 2001 and it feels like it hasn’t made may advances in technology since then. The app is laggy. The app does not reflect the same information that the website does. For instance, the website generally shows way more people who have viewed your profile or newest matches compared to the app, which does not show nearly as many views. You cannot use the chat room feature from the app like you can on the website. The filters for searing for other users are not very specific. When using the app often times when you press the back button from a users profile for pictures it will bring you all the way back to your homepage. ✓ Absolute Garbage, Don’t botherThis app hasn’t had a significant update in like 4-5 YEARS! All the same glitches reported and complained about are still in the app with no hope of them being fixed. ✓ This is a terrible app… still!This app is functional… mostly… the rating is reflective of the app and not the website or services they provide there. We are paid members. Pros: the services provided by this company are very good on the whole and the user experience on the website is great (but not the app). Cons: searching on the app is terrible and preferences for it are ignored by the app, app will discontinue music being played if app is opened, favorites are unavailable, private galleries are default unlocked on the app to other paying members but not on the website, The ‘who viewed me’ section is broken and push notifications don’t work at all. If I was using the app on vacation, it would be almost entirely worthless away from my laptop. Would be nice: a way for the two people that share the account to log on individually so that a chat can be had amongst all parties. Though one person may be the communicator, this is not always the case. This app has potential, but as it stands there are many ways for it to improve. For a paid service, I would expect a polished app and not something like this. It needs major improvements. ✓ Very buggyThe site itself is not bad at all compared to other sites we’ve visited. And when the app works it’s not bad. But I’m am having constant log in issues. Often when I attempt log in I will get an error message about a server error and the request timed out. Once or twice a week I have this issue and I can’t log in. You are constantly matched to your own profile especially if you search by distance. The messaging server is constantly down which requires an additional form of communication. So more often than not, you express your interest in a person or couple or event and then have to exchange other contact info because it takes forever to communicate through the app. That being said, the search bar is amazing, you can adjust just about anything your into while searching. The connections are great, and other than what’s stated above the match feature is awesome. This app feels like it’s straight out of 1997, but the SLS community is full of understanding people that genuinely love to make connections. The app does not work as it is designed, and the flaws are exposed by hackers and evil people who use your information to blackmail you. I’m currently involved with a police report and contacted the FBI to report the hack and attempted extortion by a paid member against me. The individuals contacted me by text and a third-party app to arrange a meeting, and instead took my photos and threatened to share them with the public and my family and Facebook and Instagram followers. ✓ Transphobic developers doubling downI submitted feedback through the app about there only being a man and woman option, no nonbinary option and the fact that if you are trans and select your gender, the app will reverse it within a days time to the gender assigned at birth. But let’s go through these issues: 1) our last viewed only shows single guys. Advised support. Was told to use the website until this is fixed. Issue was reported in May. The message never appears. So now I send messages in “chunks” and try to get off the SLS message system as soon as I can. ✓ Stopped working!This app started out fantastic. About a week in it started having issue with loading to doing basic functions. Now it won’t load at all, I have tried several times and even removed and reinstalled, it’s getting hung up on load screen and won’t go further. There has been no update in over 6 months. When I contacted support, they were blunt an honest that I should not use the app, but the web version. I appreciated that. I understand that updates do happen from time to time to keep up with things, however I have not seen anything changing on the app. It does not load for me. I am an Unlimited Lifetime member, so I feel I can shoot my mouth off about the app. The website running via the phone is clunky - but does work. ✓ Beware of security issuesWas an SLS member for nearly a decade...but a recent security issue prompted us to terminate our membership. Yes, the mobile site is different from the website, but the data security is the same. The SLS site has long been considered “antiquated”, but the app was an improvement on the approach. Obviously the drawbacks of the iOS environment (specifically with pictures) are not the fault of SLS. That said, a “virus” prompted SLS to take the entire service down for several days. With no legitimate explanation (aside from a canned response), one should seriously consider the privacy of their information. Discretion in the lifestyle is utmost importance and, unfortunately, I don’t believe that SLS takes this matter seriously. ✓ WorstThe interface is absolute trash, but more importantly there are hardly any users. And even less attractive users. It maybe shows less than 5 couples in my area. 10 years ago it would show well over 100 and new people joined all of the time. Day after day you will see same 5. They also have a dumb picture rule that requires that you show your face if you want it to populate. In other words, people browsing can’t see your profile picture unless they click on your profile. I managed to successfully log in once, but kept receiving the “server error” message any time I tried to do anything. Yes, my connection to the Internet is working just fine. Additionally, using Touch ID doesn’t work much better. I still have to scroll through a list of my passwords, find the SLS password, select it, and then tap LOG IN. It does not sync with what is going on with the web version of the service. Many matches and profiles that view us do not show up on the app that can be seen on the web version. Most of the users in the lifestyle from my experience are older. Late 30s and up. I wouldn’t recommend the paid version just to communicate with people on here, especially for singles. From my experience there is very little communication going on in the DMs. You also cannot like or comment on pictures. A lot of people may view a profile and never say anything lol. Also this site caters more to married couples who swing, who tend to look for other couples who swing and occasionally, and very rarely, play with singles or solos especially during these COVID times. It is easy to navigate and you can tell with each up date they are working hard to fix the small bugs that happen every so often. I have three issues or I would have give it five stars. 1. When the app auto renews the monthly subscription it does not update on the website. You become an unpaid member and can not see pictures that have been unlocked to you by other members. That leads me into number two. 2. You can not see or manage your private or personal photos. If we could do that it would help some of problem in number 1. And 3. You can not see as many profiles on the app as you can on the website. This must be due to some type of inappropriate pictures. But the only way to see some profiles is to search for them, if they message you or you made them a “friend” on the website and they show up in your favorites. ✓ Good appI am on a X ios 14.5.1. It's a good app for "on-the-go". I have found some gaps versus the website. Such as, I was given access to private pics, which I can view on the website, but not the app. However, this is not the case for all profiles. In my experience, some profiles DO allow private pics to be viewed on the app. Also, my Favorites list is blank. The good news is: If you allow notifications, it will tell you when you have a birdie (new mail). It's also "one button", to log into your account and see who's on. A good, handy app! ✓ Awful PlatformThe app’s sole purpose is to facilitate communication and aside from having a good population base that uses it, this platform is terrible to operate. The messages tab doesn’t notify you that you have messages, half the time you have to refresh the page just so you’re able to send a response, and the app itself isn’t even working. I have to use the web-based login to access my account. Even the search features are awful. To top it off, there are notifications to upgrade to a lifetime membership because their monthly recurring rates are going up. I hope all the additional income goes directly into fixing these issues because it’s not even worth the rates they’re currently charging. All I do know is it won’t be my money.
