Purchased a G80 Garmin and had to return it after 1 week. Not happy with Garmin accuracy. Had my Rapsodo MLM since Christmas 2020. Same price with a big difference in performance, features and accuracy. Video capture with with launch telemetry has given me tremendous quality feedback that is stored in the cloud for instant review. Ball and club speed is 99% accurate compared with several all other higher priced LM’s. There has been 3 upgrade downloads since my purchase. I’m told other great upgrades to come. Like a notes section where you can make audio annotations on particular swings. Customer service is incredible. Have an issue or question drop a note to the company and they get back to you ASAP. I also got the annual subscription so I have unlimited video reviews. *** Tip: You have to remove a magnet connector on your phone. Magnet interferes with the connections. ✓ Would purchase againGreat value for the money. Shot trace seems very accurate even in low light conditions. Compared it with trackman. All measurements were consistently within 1-2% of trackman data A couple of drawbacks. There is an intermittent glitchy connection between my iPhone 8 (with most recent iOS) and the monitor. Every 25-35 shots, it loses connection while processing a shot. The app then needs to be restarted and session resumed. Immediate club head speed would be good info to have instead of just distance & ball speed. Clubhead data is only available when the practice session data is reviewed later..Version: 1.4.0
✓ Simply AmazingOverall 4.5 out of 5 stars. The ease of use and accuracy of the MLM is fantastic. I use it every practice round so I can hear and see what each shot does. I have previously reached out to the customer service about the spin data and they are working to incorporate it into the app. Their response was quick and pleasant. ✓ Best affordable launch monitorI received my Rapsodo back in February but unfortunately it’s still winter in Canada but I am excited to try this launch monitor! I can say that the customer service is excellent, fast shipping. I had an issue with the free month trial and they resolved my issue in less than a day. Thank you Rapsodo. ✓ Rapsodo MLMIt took a little while to set it up. That being said. I have tried a few different budget friendly lunch monitors. They all have their pros and cons. This one is my favorite. Shot Tracing. I love the video feedback. I love that it shows you How far off line you are right to left. No other portable launch monitor does this for you. That is budget friendly. I am in Florida. Unfortunately the Florida sun overheats your phone rather quickly. This is a drawback. That being said it is a drawback to most of these kind of devices. You just need to get to the range extra early in the morning. Which I should do anyways. Would love to see a indoor version or net version. I’d like to see a way to keep a backup battery on the phone while using the MLM. Not a deal breaker. Maybe they could make the MLM bigger with a bigger battery that also charge the phone while in use..Version: 1.4.0
✓ Great range companionI bought a Rapsodo earlier this year and it’s been a great addition to my practice. The app is pretty good, there’s some workflow improvements that could be made to increase the usability and efficiency but the team seem pretty responsive and open to feedback. ✓ Great Practice ToolI started out early in the season on the range with my MLM. I developed a great swing with my driver. After the COVID 19 hit early March my work schedule changed and golf pretty much ended. When I returned to the course I had lost my swing with the driver. I had to fix it and fix it fast. Thanks to the Rapsodo I was able to see what had changed in my swing and corrected it. Yesterday I shot 3 under at Oceanview Golf course..Version: 1.3.3
✓ Would be awesome if some features were enabled for Net ModeHave had the unit for over a year and it has been great. Got a net to hit indoors and the monitor works but if they would enable club recognition and games for net mode I’d be happier. Shot trace would be nice also but I would guess not possible. ✓ Great range companion and a fun teebox toy for the groupDecided the shot tracer feature was the key feature separating the MLM from other launch monitors. I use this on the range with an earbud so I can have a record of my practice history and get shot by shot distance readouts in my ear without having to look back after each shot. (Would be great to have options to control what metrics the app reads out for each shot. Especially useful on down range shots when it’s hard to gauge distance. I also like using this in-round to let my playing partners get a drive or two on film with metrics. Fun to have the videos to share and Spurs up good competition and smack talk. The app has crashed a few times while using and I’ve also had problems with my phone overheating so hopefully these performance issues get worked out in later app updates. ✓ Best launch monitor under $500Rapsodo is the best launch monitor under $500. It is really accurate and also is the only one recording video. ✓ Works as advertisedI’ve had this launch monitor for about two years now and it works well. I had some small issues here and there in the beginning but it seems pretty dialed in now. My only real complaint is that being that it requires your phone to be placed on it to function, the phone overheats on the range when it’s sunny and hot. I’m thinking about making some sort of cardboard enclosure to shade it so we’ll see. Overall gives you what you need and well worth the cost..Version: 2.11.10
✓ Notes section?So far so good, I’m enjoying the device and app. It really helped to dial in ideal launch conditions for my driver. One (simple?) improvement would be an optional comment field for the session. I.e. if I adjust settings on a club (loft) During the session Going forward I will not record it under the same club, But rather using a “dummy club” (1i) so I can see the difference in distance, ball flight, etc. It would be nice to be able to make a note on the session where I can record my changes electronically. E.g 4h = 22 loft; 1i = 4h at 21 loft, flat lie setting..Version: 1.5.0

It also come at a fraction of the cost of other launch monitors. I would like to see maybe an app for the Apple Watch where I could change clubs and see the data from the previous swings. ✓ Excellent monitor so far, App stability needs improvementI got my launch monitor earlier this week and tested it out in net mode in my backyard today. Took 60 shots. About 1 in 10 did not register and the app crashed in its dock once and when viewing the swings in my hand (out of dock) about 5-10 times. That said, it’s not close to being terrible and is worth the purchase. I’m happy with the accuracy and data I receive from it. Looking forward to using it on a range once COVID restrictions lift. Another bonus is that the videos are only 15mb when you save them off-app. Kudos to Rapsodo. ✓ App and MLM2PRO are incredible!I am a long-time user of the first-gen Rapsodo MLM and I recently upgraded to the MLM2PRO - WOW! This product is incredible and rivals launch monitors that cost thousands of dollars! The app is very easy to connect and user friendly. I've had no connectivity or login issues. The app adds to the value for this unit and makes it the most user friendly launch monitor for golf amateurs like me. I have used the MLM2PRO at an outdoor range and into a backyard net - both seem to be very accurate and consistent. ✓ Rapsodo MLMI’ve had Rapsodo for about a week. It’s a neat product. Setting it up was very easy. I looked at prior reviews prior to purchasing and the one time configuration process seemed to confuse some people. The goods news is that it appears that Rapsodo found a way for the launch monitor to be auto-configured now. That means no need to configure it yourself. You can open the box, charge it up and pair it your iPhone and be ready to go within a few minutes. As for the product and its accuracy, the carry yardages appear accurate based upon my known shot distances. The shot tracer is a cool feature and also appears accurate when comparing it to my ball flight of the shot struck..Version: 1.4.0
✓ ConvenientI have not gotten a chance to use this outside yet, but inside it works great. I have a net set up and I can take shots during my lunch break. I have seen a lot of improvement in my shots on the course because of this. The only problem is the occasional time when the app crashes or does not capture the ball. ✓ Solid AppI’ve had the Rapsodo now for over a year and i use it for my golf development. I use it at the range to dial in my distances. I take it to the course sometimes as well and use it on the tee box and record a few of my drives. I take it to the soccer field and work on my short game as well. ✓ Well worth the price!I compared all the low cost MLM and ultimately decided on the Rapsodo MLM because of the video recording of shot trace. The setup was easy and it connects to my Xs in seconds. However, the phone does get hot after 20 mins of play, so I ended up putting a battery powered fan to keep my phone cool. ✓ Review update.I must say took out MLM to range ( mostly using net mode with iPad Pro). l was pleasantly surprised by the results the yardages with my gap , pw ,9 ,8 , 7 were in line with what I get out on the course. Still had a little issue with lateral dispersion but not bad. It’s been a while since I took it to the range,rating were more like 2.5⭐️, but Now I have to give solid 4 ⭐️ for my scoring clubs . I wasn’t using range balls using balls I find out on course. Working with longer clubs next session, hopefully I will get similar results. So recent updates have improved MLM for range sessions. ✓ Happy I purchasedI’ve had this for about 4 months now. It’s been great to have in my bag. I respond to video much quicker and it’s definitely helped my swing. It is easy to setup. And it does take some getting used to when starting with the unit. Be patient and adhere to the distances they recommend. You’ll need to play with the shot alignment screen to find the sweet spot. You’ll get a miss hit hear and there and it won’t track it. I’ve noticed that when that does happen it’s because I hit the shot so badly. You don’t want to see that anyway. ✓ Great deviceMy wife gave me an MLM for my birthday and I’ve used it every day since. The app gives me a clear view of my club gapping and the ability to analyze my shots through the recordings. ✓ Amazing for the Price!I got my Rapsodo last week, charged it up and hit the range! It worked great and was so cool to see my numbers. I’m a newer golfer and I really need to get the range of each club dialed in. The stats are incredible for the price and seem to be incredibly accurate. It appears that they are working on an upgrade that will allow this to be used indoors too and I can’t wait! The only issue I had is it’s over 100 degrees in Arizona right now so my phone got too hot and I had to stop using it with the Rapsodo device. App takes a little bit of getting used to access data - but works well once you figure it out. ✓ Solid App But Still Needs WorkI’ve owned my Rapsodo personal launch monitor now for 2 months and I must say it has performed better than expected. The unit never fails to pick up the ball off the clubhead and data is relayed within seconds to your iPhone. The app displays distance, ball speed, and launch angle, but unfortunately does not have an option to toggle on or off other crucial pieces of data, namely club head speed. While club head speed is displayed after you end a session and look at the session summary, not having it displayed on a real time swing by swing basis is a big time limitation to the app. Additionally, it would be nice for the unit and the app to pick up practice swing speeds, as many folks employ super speed training to their practice regime, but as of now this feature does not exist. However, the numbers that are displayed are remarkably accurate when compared to pricier machines, and having video feedback of every swing during a practice session can be a nice touch at times too. Give us iPhone users the ability to toggle on swing speed and this app would get 5 stars from me..Version: 1.6.0

Overall this is a great product and worth the $500 price. The company seems SaS driven though and premium features edge the functionality of the product which they cloak but giving a couple free months of premium when product is initially purchased. ✓ Makes club gaping easyAfter a few sessions, getting enough swings in with each club for a good sample, I used lifetime stats view to see how far each club carried on average. Noticed a 30 yard gap between my shortest wedge and Gap. That necessitated a partial swing between 85 to 115. I knew there was a sizable gap there, but didn’t think it was near 30 yards. Retired a 5-wood I barely ever used and added a wedge that carries around 100. Feel like I’m using the extra wedge more often (and for more valuable shots) than the 5-wood it replaced. Overall club selection is easier knowing how far each carries on average. Love it..Version: 1.3.4
✓ Great, but distance needs more workI like everything about it except distances are overly optimistic. All clubs are about 10 yards longer than reality. I know for fact that I don’t hit this far on the course. Maybe when I go south for holidays to warm climate but on rainy October day in Vancouver no chance. Come on Rapsodo you already know where I am. Make small correction for climate. Also would be great to set it to show carry distance instead of total. We get no roll here. Known glitch with iOS14 and iPhone12 whereby initial shot replay shows shot tracker no issue but replay after the session shows all shots flying off to the right.
