Breeze: Mental Health for Negative User Reviews

Nice concept, false advertisingThey choose to use a quiz in an ad, when you go to see more it says “try for free” 🧢🧢🧢 I just wanna know if I’m a toxic fella or not..Version: 2.5.6

Only good if you spend moneyI honestly enjoy the app, it’s calming and has fun activities to help my boredom. And when tracking your mood it has plenty of options to click which I’m grateful, it just makes it much easier. But… almost everything on the app you can’t do unless you decide to purchase the monthly subscription, WHICH IS SO ANNOYING. I haven’t bought the subscription yet because I have yet to be paid but I’m not totally sure I want to. It gives me a gift in the morning when I log in for the day but it’s always the subscription over and over again asking me to purchase the stupid free trial (WHICH IS ONLY A WEEK LONG, then $8 something monthly) There is the “don’t show again” button which is definitely helpful. But not even just that, you can only do several (if even that) of the tests/quizzes without purchasing the subscription. I’ve only been able to do 1 while being ftp!! And there’s so many tests and quizzes on top of that, so why can’t you make a little more than a handful free to do?! It also feels like I’m having the one WEEK free trial shoved down my throat anytime I’m on the app. So in conclusion, if you can’t or don’t want to buy the monthly subscription just don’t buy the app. There’s very limited you can do if you do decide to download this and not purchase anything..Version: 2.7.1

Unable to find tests advertised and pricing confusionDownloaded wanted to do the toxic person test and can not find it in the app. You have to sign up for a 7 day free trial then $12 a week, but in the app some pricing is $44 per year. I am confused on the pricing and no where to get clarity. For a mental Heath app and a person who provides mental Heath care I am struggling recommending this app to a person who could use it. The developers could add some features that are not through a paid firewall including personalisation. Maybe add 3 tests and if you advertise a test make sure it is there. I concerned that this is a money grab from vulnerable people..Version: 2.7.0

Money grabDon't spend money on this. the tests are copied from online. get them for free..Version: 2.8.2

Cancelled app. Still charged.Seems not bad, but not worth the price. Do not do the 7 days unless you want to be charged..Version: 2.8.5

Generic & nonsensicalDownloaded out of curiosity after seeing some adverts on social media. As mentioned in other reviews the tests displayed on the adverts are not actually in the app. The tests that are available, are just nonsense. Generic yes/no type or scale type questioning with the questions not making a great deal of sense in relation to the topic. Nor are they worded particularly well. The write up following your tests are very basic and generic. “You are of average anger” Then a brief description of what that means. Nothing actually bespoke to the individual answering the questions. To be billed as a mental health app, I think is questionable when you have apps like Headspace available for the same cost if not cheaper - with proven mental health benefits. Some serious room for improvement with a starting point being going back through your catalogue of questions and checking they either A make sense, or are relevant to the topic being tested. One positive - the app is nice to look at and is user friendly. Sadly installed and uninstalled within half an hour..Version: 2.6.7

Barely used the appI just downloaded this an hour ago, finally went to try it and the second I was prompted with having to pay for the full aspects of this app I felt lied to with the ad I saw on Tiktok. False advertising at its finest. As an individual who is studying psychology to become a therapist it does annoy me that any “mental health app” out there you always have to pay stupid amounts of money to use features on the app. When will people understand that mental health and illnesses are not and should not be profitable. These are actual people having issues, trying to find accessible help and are being made to believe, as I was, that this is an app free of use. I also saw another review speaking on the same things of charging people and not being able to afford it with other living expenses, to which I highly agree with, and their response was all business talk, not really addressing the real issue. Nevertheless I will be deleting this app after submitting this..Version: 2.6.7

Subscription is tricky and getting help is hardAs of this moment, I simply am unable to unsubscribe. Can’t do it on the App Store as the subscription doesn’t show up. No sign of it on the App Store payment history. (It’s hard to claim a refund from App Store when the payment does not show in the first place!) Support is hard to come by. Email takes forever, and their website is just a placeholder of sorts. Very horrible experience. So much for mental health..Version: 2.8.3

Cannot cancel trial membershipI have been trying to cancel my trial membership but cannot get an answer from anyone. I have emailed your support as well as reached out on Instagram, where I initially signed up thru an ad you had there, and all I have received is what appears to be an auto-generated response on Instagram as no one has replied to me since then. I signed up thru your website, as I was directed to it from your ad, then downloaded the app after that. There is nowhere to cancel my trial membership. No options in the app, no links to your website and nothing I can find by searching for breeze or basenji, the parent company. I also checked subscriptions on PayPal and there is nothing there as well. The app seems nice enough but is just not for me and I want this cancelled before I get charged (I was on day 4 when first reaching out). The lack of response is extreme frustrating and aggravating. I am posting here because I don’t know what else to do and hope to see a timely response. Be very weary of signing up for the trial as there is apparently no way to easily cancel if you sign up thru one of their ads/online quizes!.Version: 2.7.7

Payments are necessary for a lot of the contentThis app was not a breeze for me. I really love the concept of this app. I think it’s a brilliant idea and can truly help others gain new perspectives, even benefit themselves! However, the payment factor is an unfortunate one. Not to mention, they’re expensive. You’re paying 8.49 a week so around 50 dollars 💵 per month. Have fun with that one. I understand the developers have to make money somehow and if they’re reading this, they’ve probably already seen a lot of the views have a similar saying. I honestly downloaded this app for the QUIZZES. I like taking such along the topics. However, only ONE quiz that I found, out of around 16 of them, is for FREE. Most of the other lessons weren’t for free either and pretty much all you can do is record/track your day, play about for games (which was my favorite part, and that’s honestly all that I can think of. The only reason I’m giving this game 2 stars is just because of the idea and game concepts. If they allow more quizzes to be free and other features, I think more people would stay around longer (as most you can just take along.) Either way, I appreciate them reading these reviews and responding back. Please have a lovely day!.Version: 2.6.9

Chargers you earlyWill charge you for a subscription even if you cancel if you are net fast enough. I.e will charge you 6days of your 7 day trial. That’s ridiculous and not customer friendly at all. Then you’ll have an inactive account, yet still have a large charge to your card with nothing to show for it. Poor service..Version: 2.8.3

Just bad bro the app edges me!.You need to stop making false advertisements and say the apps free when clearly it ain’t. Money grabbers I’m gonna come after u. U guys better sleep wit one eye opened tonight. YALL ain’t safe for a lifetime.Version: 2.8.5

OverpricedGreat concept, you can’t trial much on the free version and full version is expensive and not a one time purchase. You wont get much out of this..Version: 2.6.2

Not worth itI saw an ad for this app on IG so I installed it. I quickly realized if I wanted to take the tests I would need a premium subscription so I subscribed because I’m a sucker for internet quizzes. As many people have mentioned there is some weird language issue with some questions — and I also found none of the numbers show up. For example on the internet addiction test, it was like “I spend more than hours on the internet.” Right. (I am not going to email the developer with screenshots as I have already canceled my subscription and uninstalled the app.) I also found the results to be pretty inaccurate. I took the “introvert/extrovert” quiz and for the record, I am a complete introvert, but after answering all the questions that way, the result said I was 50/50 extro and intro, that I am outgoing and like to be out with people. Say what? 🤔 I gave it 2 stars because it was entertaining for about 30 minutes and the app is pretty well-made..Version: 2.6.9

Another ‘subscribe to use’ appAnnoyingly, this is another one of those apps that take your personal data, push you through the process of logging in and creating an account, but then won’t let you proceed unless you sign up for roughly £8 a week. Yeah you get a ‘free’ trial, but then you have to unsubscribe before they charge you. I wish the App Store had a category for apps like this so you don’t waste time setting it all up only to find you have to pay to use the app. This isn’t ‘in app purchases’, this is ‘subscribe to use’..Version: 2.7.6

Not worth the MoneyHow are you going to charge for information that can be found on the internet for free? Almost everything mentioned in your app comes with the note saying that it is not a diagnosis and it’s not medical advice nor professional advice so why are we getting charged for this? Some of the tests ask about career and work etc when those questions might not apply to everyone causing the result of the test to be incorrect “advice” or result being that the question can not be skipped and it does not have an “does not apply” option. As a person who struggles with anxiety, depression, and ptsd I expected something better and useful for it being a charged app. Way overpriced to be honest for $8 a WEEK!! Stick to your personal journal and find ways to organize it neatly so it can be easier to go back and compare your progress, research online.. everything mentioned in this app is provided free on the internet!.Version: 2.3.1

Only wants your moneyWaste of time, unless you want to spend lots of money. Don’t get it.Version: 2.4.1

Don’t download unless you want to payDownloaded this app after seeing an ad on Instagram, looked really insightful so I took a test but then I couldn’t take any others. No worries I thought as maybe since I’m not paying for premium it’s limited to one test a day. Went back today and I can’t read any of the material or take any tests without paying. There isn’t a section which says free tests so you just have to click on each one to find out. I can at least log my daily mood but there’s plenty of other apps that can do that. Really disappointed, deleted the app.Version: 2.7.0

Great, however-I think this app is great. It collects all your mood stats and adds them up wonderfully which is great to visualise how your mood flows throughout the year. However the fact that it’s got in-app purchases and a ‘premium’ mode is kinda outrageous. People should be able to track their mental health without having to pay for it. Honestly, an app made for mental health shouldn’t be used to get money but just to help people. It’s frustrating to see that there are more options and further parts of the app but can’t get to them because of payments. Overall I’d say it’s a great app but seriously, why charge someone that just wants to keep track of their mental health??.Version: 2.4.7

The issue everyone is talking about. This app is about mental health and I don’t we should pay for every course, like every single one you guys have made is all needing purchases. I don’t think that’s fair, how about some can be with money like you have to pay for and some that are serious topics or about mental should be free..Version: 2.7.1

Sad garbageAs soon as i opened the app and it asks to sign up for a free trial I walked away, if anyone that reads this feels like they should be paying for mental health help please go get a therapist instead something that will actually bounce ideas with you and get you proper support..Version: 2.8.5

Looked great but the priceI am struggling a lot recently with my mental health, I thought an app like this would be good to pair with therapy which I am starting next week. But over £7 a week is ridiculous. I am not paying £30 a month for anything. Only my bills combined come up to that amount. My phone bill and streaming services are all less than that. Would have loved to have got into using this app, but I am not interested in free trails. Sorry to sound so harsh and moody, I just woke up!.Version: 2.4.0

Taking money?I’m a little lost on why after cancelling my subscription you guys have gone ahead and taken $32 out of my account. There’s nothing on my phone stating that I had a payment coming up nor a receipt to even tell me why you took $32 off me.. this apps obviously about the money not taking care of peoples mental health. This has left me more stressed out than I need to be. Do not recommend AT ALL My card has now been blocked because the bank picked it up and fraudulent! Absolutely bull crap…. Do better.Version: 2.8.0

Can’t unsubscribeI’ve been trying to unsubscribe from this app but there is no way to do so through the app itself, my email or through my apple subscriptions. I tried requesting a refund but it was not eligible and I can’t find info about how to contact this company..Version: 2.8.2

Unrealistic & BroadThe app is supposedly supposed to help you understand yourself and manage your mental health better accept most of the personality tests/ quizzes ask broad questions with no context. Often the questions give you options none of which you would describe yourself as but you have to choose one anyway. £7.49 a week is ludicrous especially when this app in no way helps you to understand yourself better and doesn’t really help your mental health unless you want to be told things you already know. You’d be better off sticking to relatable quotes on Instagram 🤣. Overall a waste of time, I don’t recommend..Version: 2.7.7

How to CancelI cant find the cancel subscription option. Not on iphone or appstore. Its charging me and I don’t know if it will stop charging me if I deleted it.Version: 2.8.2

ConnedDon’t care how good the app itself is, I was given no warning whatsoever about the fact that I was paying £7.49 a week, when I wasn’t even using the app, so little did I know that each week in the background this app stole money straight from my account somehow, leaving me with all of my pocket money being drained and having spent over £70 in a month or two. As a 17 year old this has crippled me and now I have no spending freedom because no effort was made by my bank or the app to confirm I was happy with £7.49 being taken from me each week, when I didn’t even have that money in my account each week. I feel robbed and though I accept some responsibility for having signed up to the free trial, it is a huge flaw to not monitor and remind the person using the app that the trial ended or that each week that money was being taken from a 17 year old. What is the point in this app if your access to help for your struggling mental health is restricted and only accessible by spending said WEEKLY sum. I did not get the service and help I required from this app and will not be considering using anything like it again. I’d rather use a free online source of guidance for any problems I face that isn’t of the best comparative quality compared to an actually theoretically helpful source that is priced so steeply and stealthily..Version: 2.7.7

DisappointedI’m a huge mental health advocate and even have my degree in psych. I have issues myself and always doing self discovery and improvement. I downloaded this app excited to take some tests and was offered a - can’t remember if it was a 3 day trial or a week free trial - however I was charged randomly during a FREE trial that I was not suppose to be charged yet. That is a red flag for me as I was not wanting to pay for this app since all the tests can be found online and there are a lot of typos with only a paragraph of results which I thought would give deeper. I requested a refund since they took money from my card during a free trial which they were not suppose to do and denied my refund request which I am appalled by. I resubmitted a appeal on my denied refund request and going to be utterly disappointed if it is denied again. Don’t get this app they will take money out of your card during a so called free trial and not want to refund you for it. Still awaiting for a refund..Version: 2.8.2

Payment wallsSeen the app advertised and I agree with a previous review all the tests and quizzes I’ve clicked on are met with a pay wall to a not so reasonably priced subscription. The only ‘free features’ it’s allowed me to do so far is note what my mood is there’s claims of the app helping to give us a better understanding as to why you feel the way you do but in order to find that out then guess what you need to do? Ding ding ding PAY. Just another dev trying to make quick cash except this time vulnerable people wanting to better their mental health appear to be the target I’m pretty sure for nearly £30 a month if you have the money it would just make more sense to pay the extra £10 for a private healthcare plan which covers mental health support from trained doctors..Version: 2.7.0

ScamWhat an absolute scam of an app. In order to start a 7 day free trail it links to your payment method on Apple App Store (as all subscription apps do) however I cancelled my free trial days before it expired and yet I have been charged $19.99USD TWICE over 2 months (for context that’s over $60NZD - outrageous!!) . I have emailed the apps support emails & reported to Apple Support and nothing, I am STILL being charged for an app I have absolutely no subscription to and that is completely deleted off my device. DO NOT INSTALL - total scam.Version: 2.8.4

Waste of timeHard to log into? That’s one, two I wanted to see and try the quizzes to see if it could prove anything NOPE one thing it can prove, money. Hey want to reflect on your mental health? Give Us Money. Like WHAT! I “reflected on my day” then TRIED to do the quiz but “get started” meant pay money. BUT LIKE why can’t we have a app that tries to help you with mental health that we don’t have to pay for it should be free!!.Version: 2.8.0

Paid for lifetime subscription and got nothingI paid for a lifetime subscription, the money was taken out of my bank account and I don’t have the full app, it still says I have the free account which expires in a days time. I’ve tried reporting an issue which doesn’t work and there is no way to try and get a refund. I’m very upset. The app is great but paying out money to get nothing and no way to sort this out is a nightmare..Version: 2.7.1

What in the chinese data farming heck is thisLured in by social media ads, promising toxic character trait tests i was excited to go through them with my ‘mate’ for some fun. Instantly required to sign up to the premium subscription which is required to do anything. I discovered none of these features existed.. anyway we decide to go for the personality disorder test with my manic depressive bpd gf, the final question was ‘has a psychiatrist ever diagnosed you with manic depressive disorders’ she clicks yes, quiz outcome ‘YOURE FINE *smiley face*’ what in tarnatations is this. This app is designed to steal as much data from users as possible (and to pay for the privilege) disguised as an app to better yourself and learn about mental health. AVOID.Version: 2.6.8

BEWARE TAKES MONEY MULTIPLE TIMES A MONTHI have been charged several times over the last few months, without any response from customer service, no opportunity/link to unsubscribe from payment plan. Redirected to apple, apple has redirected me to the third party app. Still no resolution. I am a struggling mother of three, looking for a way to manage stress/mental health and this app has in fact made it worse. Do not advise 0/10.Version: 2.8.3

Very disappointingI do like the concept of the application. But to call it “free” then charge people is ridiculous, really. If you want to help people who really struggle then the “key” is to be free so other people won’t feel discouraged by the paywall, even though you have the option to cancel, many won’t even remember and they will get even more anxious when they see money flying out of their bank. Really the app has some good potential, but the free stuff is what the other so many apps can offer and really!? Promote the app on tiktok to get premium? What in the capitalist world we living in now. Since when we became like this really?.Version: 2.7.4

MoneyI knew going into the app that there was a subscription for some stuff, but I just thought that it was for some courses and tests. No. It’s for all the tests which I really the main reason why I downloaded the app in the first place. The other stuff is nice but I just feel like some of the tests should be free as some kind of sample thing not every one. Besides a lot people who struggle with mental health don’t have money because they can’t get a job. I just feel as if they could shift things around so there is a bit of everything..Version: 2.6.9

Breeze Journal never available for meA big part of this app for me has been the courses. There’s supposed to be a Breeze Journal in which to record each lesson exercise. The app doesn’t take me to the journal which it says it will, and I can’t locate it. There’s also no way to locate or reach support for this app. These two issues are making me give it 2 stars, and those stars are because the mood tracker is good. I have used it for a month and it gives me reliable information about how my mood has been during that time. But those are a dime a dozen. I actually paid for this. I expected more (like support and the journal that is supposed to be included). I also discovered I’m supposed to be getting a table to look at and fill in for the anxiety section, but when I click the link it doesn’t take me there. Really tired of this not working. Reducing my review to one star and would appreciate being contacted by the person who can help me with this..Version: 2.2.3

Who made this?I found this app because it advertised a “writing style” test on Instagram. As a writer, I was curious. After downloading, I took a couple of the tests - though none of it was relevant to writing or was the test I had seen advertised. The tests were all yes/no questions, and I reached an error screen after each, saying that my answers were conflicting and the app couldn’t give me results - and that I should retake the test again. Unlike Myers Briggs, which scores on a gradient of answers, the wording and grammar wasn’t very clear, and again, I got another error screen stating that my answers were conflicting. I am rating two stars for the poor grammar and quality of tests, inaccurate advertisement, and ridiculous pricing after the initial free trial. $35+ per month…?! For an app that isn’t clear or cohesive? The creators should really revisit their design, target audience, and pricing, because while I see the potential upsides to a functional app with these same intentions, this is just unrealistic..Version: 2.4.9

Just don’t downloadI saw an add on instagram for this app but I would not recommend downloading because it makes you pay for everything single thing and mental heath is important and you shouldn’t have to pay money to get help.Version: 2.7.0

Misleading and exploitativeThis app draws you in with its lovely features and promises of help, but only after you’ve downloaded the app and started building a profile does it let you know that all features of the app are only available with an additional weekly subscription fee. If an appointment with a psych is $50, monthly, and this is $12 weekly, it amounts to the same cost. This is a great app for the people who can afford it, but for the people who can’t afford therapy in the first place and are looking for something to help bridge that gap, this is not it..Version: 2.7.5

Charged for cancelled subscription.Signed up for free trial and cancelled the same day. Was charged for two months after cancelling..Version: 2.8.3

...Why can’t I add 0 hours of sleep to the tracker? Also a better design would be better..Version: 2.2.3

Bunch of snakes and cons moneyThe design of the app is to sneakily sign you up for an expensive subscription service. There’s no way to cancel in the app, there’s not even a way to check if you are subscribed or not, it will just take your money without any warning or even a way to find out if you’re going to be charged or not. They use sly wording and fine print to get you to unknowingly agree to getting practically robbed. Plus, I’ve been charged for around £14 which isn’t even a subscription option since that’s around £7. so that means there’s also random secret fees that will cripple someone if not sorted out. I want my money back but I know that these “people” will just respond with some sly and snarky corporate greed tactics. The people running this app clearly don’t actually care for mental health. This is just a quick cash grab for them..Version: 2.8.3

Good app, but not worth the paymentA lot of these apps that are supposed to help us, cost an arm and a leg. Most of us with severe mental problems can’t afford to pay $10+ a month, let alone pay for a whole year. Unfortunately I’ll have to give this app (and many others like this) a big miss due to pricings being to high, that if I did want the help, I’d be deciding between food and mental health checks. Definitely not ideal for someone who struggles to leave the house and can barely live on their current income. Honestly? Get a small notebook and write your mentality down, use that to reflect on, there are so many ‘quizzes’ you can do online for free that will also give you a little insight to why you’re feeling this way. Please don’t waste your money on apps like this, it’s only creating a disadvantage for those with growing (and severe) mental health issues..Version: 2.3.1

Please stop stealing moneyI appreciate your quick response to my email and for giving me a refund, but there’s no reason why I had to do that in the first place. You lied when you said the app would show up in my subscriptions. It didn’t, so there was NO way to cancel it..Version: 2.8.0

Cancellation issuesIt’s a great app, it’s just you run out of things to do in a short period of time and I know people will self diagnose from this unfortunately I have done the free week train and it is not clear on how to cancel the subscription if you could make this more clear and easier to get to that would be an improvement! If anyone can also help me cancel it that would be great because I do not want to get charged!!!.Version: 2.6.2

Needs workNot easy to navigate says $7.99 but the only option I could choose was $12.99 and unsubscribing isn’t as easy as mentioned in the description I can’t even find in the settings. Not as many features as description says and is a bit of a let down I do not recommend..Version: 2.2.1

ABSOLUTELY NOT WORTH ITIf you are reading this delete the app. If you are in the process of downloading this app please stop. I did have breeze a while ago but deleted it because you had to pay for EVERYTHING. Nothing was free. After advertisements I downloaded this again to see if it had changed. It had not. After thoroughly scanning this app for anything to do - quizzes and tests etc I found there is only one test you can complete for free (an anxiety one). You might as well go on google and answer one there or better yet download Dimensional (now that’s an app where you can do tons of stuff like quizzes, daily insights, journal prompts, constructive criticism and learning about yourself for free). What Breeze advertises isn’t even available and I wouldn’t recommend paying for “full access” aka be able to anything..Version: 2.7.0

Too expensiveThis app is okay but I can't do anything without having to pay. This would be a great app if you didn't have to pay or there was more stuff for free. Other then that, the app is terrible and I do not recommend downloading. Like I said before, it would be good if you didn't have to pay or there was more free options..Version: 2.6.8

Can’t do anything without payingThere may be some free features in the app, but I can’t find them. So far every feature I wanted to try tells me I have to do a 7-day trial to use it. I haven’t gone too deep into the app because that’s discouraging to me while I’m in the middle of a mental health crisis. I understand the need to make money, but it would be better to allow use of features for a set amount of days before disabling and asking for a subscription. Many other apps do this so I know it’s possible. The developers of this app just want to get users trapped in a subscription. I’m bipolar, you really think I’m going to remember to cancel a trial in the middle of an episode? The apps that I do eventually subscribe are the apps that let me try the full features before subscribing and don’t require me to sign up for a trial. I eventually purchase these apps because I get a chance to really try it out and see if it’s for me with no strings attached. The apps like this that force a trial without letting me see the value first… well, they get deleted. Just like this one. Edit: I appreciate the developer’s response instead of just saying “well, we need to make money” like other developers. I will keep an eye out on this app and try it again when the developers make that possible..Version: 2.7.9

Depressed people can’t afford thisThis app is $16 a week, people who can afford that could save up to get real help and seen by someone. The options in app are daily mood charts and personality test your only able to do once which is definitely not worth it - side note it’s very uncomfortable when a app like this for mental health ask for personal photos of your life/what you did in that day.Version: 2.7.5

Help. But only if you pay for it…Downloaded this app to simply find out a bit about myself with the short personality quizzes that were available on it. However after opening this app, I was immediately met with paywall after paywall. I could only access one very short test and after that nothing was available unless I subscribed. It’s great to see another app that has been seemingly designed to help people turn out to be another flashy cash grab. INSTANT UNINSTALL! If you’re looking to just do some fun quizzes, this app is NOT for you..Version: 2.6.7

I am unsure how to feelThe app was great until it randomly deleted all of my information. I typically used the app to log my good days so I could come back and re live those memories, and I loved how you could even add a cute little picture to your note, it really took me back and I could visualize and remember the day I was looking back on. Sometimes you forget about those little sweet moments, so I liked to be able to jot them down and keep them. Unfortunately one day I opened the app and everything was gone. I’m talking like a good couple months to a year of days and experiences I wrote down. It was so disappointing I don’t know what happened, I don’t recall there being a “delete everything” button. I didn’t purposely try to erase anything. I just use the app like normal every time when adding all my stuff. When I say everything was gone I mean EVERYTHING. Even the activities and emotions you can choose that it automatically starts with. I’ll have to go back and re add every positive and negative emotion choice and all the possible activities. Because now there is nothing to choose from. I liked how in the beginning how it already had those and I could add more if I wanted. So now I’m not sure if I want to keep using this anymore because like what’s the point of using it and adding everything back if all my data is going to get randomly erased again..Version: 2.7.6

AnnoyingSaw this app on an add and it looked really cool. as soon as i downloaded it it wouldn’t let me do anything without paying. seriously expensive as well. don’t recommend if you’re not looking to spend money..Version: 2.7.7

Mixed opinionsThis seemed like a great app on the App Store but I, someone with a lot of mental problems downloaded it and it immediately hit me with payments. I was just looking for help but I know everyone needs to make a profit but honestly, nothing on this thing is free. On the bright side, if you have some money to spare, this seems like a good investment. I would just like to say thanks to the creators because this seems like a good app ( even though I didn’t like having to pay £7 a week )..Version: 2.7.9

No just noWhat kind of app makes you pay to help you with depression?.Version: 2.6.2

IrresponsibleUnbelievably shameful pure money making app. A few years ago, someone discovered, “hey there are a lot of people with mental health issues, let’s exploit their problems for money.” Pretty shocking huh? Exactly, this app is no different. Every single test you want to do, well too bad, you’ve gotta pay for it. After seeing that and the prices, I exited the application, and deleted it for wasting my time. It is simply not justifiable to charge ludicrous amounts for a basic test, (not backed by any actual research and expects you to believe the results) when you could literally Google ‘depression test’, ‘anxiety tests’ and do those for free. They even put a disclaimer in mentioning that it’s not gospel, but rather a result to give you a rough idea. Now these guys are not the only ones guilty of this crime, places like headspace do the same thing too for their meditation, mindfulness activities, and sleep casts. It’s not good for people who actually struggle with their mental health at all. The people whom run these applications don’t care as long as someone is foolish enough to pay for it, everything is okay..Version: 2.7.1

Kept charging meI signed up for the free trial then deleted my account and kept charging my card. Ran me up like 50$. Apple refunded me but this app is a scam..Version: 2.8.4

DisgustingJust like other users, i saw MULTIPLE ads on instagram for months on end. I finally downloaded it because i deal with a variety of mental health issues and of course you have to pay. It makes me pretty annoyed - if you are going to make an app FOR people who are suffering and just want answers on their issues, make it more accessible! i think it’s disgusting that you have to pay for the quiz’s. of course you have to make money but some people already have a hard enough time accessing doctors and psychologist!! i also noticed that similar reviews to mine, don’t get any answers back. only the positive reviews. i think that shows a lot..Version: 2.7.0

Over priced, under developedThe aesthetic is nice and I like the intention behind this app, but it is way overpriced and it has a long way to go. Charging 9.99 a month for a “premium” membership is on the high end of reasonable, but for a week this is a rip off and comes off as a scam. You could get a monthly gym membership for the price of one week of this app, and honestly that would be much better for your mental health. Im addition to this 9.99 a month gets you very little content. To charge this much reasonably, the app would need to have 20x as much content. Yet as of now, all of their education and quizzes are readily accessible for FREE online. Yes the app has a nice aesthetic and the mood tracker is helpful, but it is incredibly overpriced and it’s main focus is maximizing profits from people who are struggling with mental health. All in all it very disappointing to see an app taking advantage of people like this..Version: 2.4.9

Still taking money after deleting accountI deleted my account and I’m still getting charged for it?.Version: 2.8.2

Don’t download it!!!You need to pay, 10$ if you want to do the quiz.Version: 2.7.9

Subscription to mental healthNo group that gives a crap about mental health would charge you $8 per week for something like this. This is criminal! Find a free mood log template online and fill them out with a pencil for free and don’t give these parasites a cent. This is exploitation and you all should be ashamed of yourselves. UPDATE Developer response: “As the company providing such services, we consider it fair and convenient to provide free and paid features. Breeze's key functionality is free and allows you to journal your mood, track what influenced it, see basic stats on your days, play relaxing games, and access the first course and test. A paid subscription helps these features stay free and gives you access to premium content that consists of tests and courses.” I find this very hard to swallow considering you are harassed every 5 seconds about buying premium; the mood tracking feature, the tests, and I am sure the games as well can be done for free online. It is ridiculous to use psychological manipulation to get people to buy a service to help them figure out if they are being psychologically manipulated and then turn around and be like “see we helped you!” No mental healthcare professional should (or probably would) tell people to use this app as it is now. $8 week is unjustifiably expensive for what you get in return..Version: 2.7.1

Cancelling not an optionSign up and terms say you can cancel anytime! Goodluck with that. There is no where in the account setting, in the app, on their site, no where to cancel. Deleting your account still charges you. Emailing them takes days for responses. Ridiculously expensive for information you can find for free anywhere online.Version: 2.8.3

Keeps renewing no way to cancelVery disappointed. Signed up one night to see what it is about. No way to cancel. Lied about the price and keeps charging me. Don’t waste your time or money.Version: 2.8.3

Cute UI/UX, questionable testsFirst of all, as a graphic designer, I think that the illustrations and actual app design is excellent. I do like the concept of this app and the games are more helpful than I anticipated. I’ve done a few of the quizzes and I’m not a fan of the polarization in the answers when they only give two answers. Sometimes we are in between answers…there should be a slider scale or maybe 5 different answers varying on how well the user identifies with the statement. As a cis woman, I was a bit surprised to see the sexist trends in the gender quiz. The ideas of ambition, assertiveness, etc ascribed to men and gentleness, empathy, etc. pinned to women is very reductive. Of course I got an “androgynous” result because I consider myself self sufficient and ambitious. I don’t think that makes me any less feminine. The other quizzes confused me in the results, as I very much resonated with every emotional burnout question and yet was given a “moderate” result. I also saw a few typos. Perhaps once the kinks are worked out, maybe this app could be more of a successful tool. At the very least, it’s aesthetically pleasing..Version: 2.6.1

Meh…I got an ad on instagram and was super interested! I'm in therapy, but i figured this would be a good supplement, especially when it comes to correcting negative attitude. when i downloaded it, basically every feature was locked until premium was purchased…. I'm not sure what the point of this app is if not for people who dont have access to help/mental health services (likely due to cost/inaccessibility). if someone cant afford a real therapist, how are they going to be able to afford a subscription to an app that only provides basic solutions to their problems (as ive read in people’s reviews of premium)? this service could be very convenient for those people and people just warming up to the idea of caring for their mental health… I would rather see adds on the bottom of the screen than pay a subscription..Version: 2.7.1

Difficult to cancel and refundAfter trying this app out for a few days I realized that the content offered was very similar to other sources that I had access to already. I searched the entire app and a website referenced with no luck. For some reason I was not offered to pay through my Apple ID so therefore was unable to easily cancel. Once I finally got ahold of someone I was told that there are no refund given for web payment. The inability to cancel through a stream lined process/easily outlined process speaks volumes about the integrity of this company. I would encourage anyone downloading the app for a trial research the cancellation policy steps and appropriate dates to ensure that you are not charged. There are no emails sent to confirm subscription or when you been charged - the only way to know is by checking your CC account. Sneaky and subversive is not a way to run a business.Version: 2.8.2

Don’t BotherFalse advertising and then unable to cancel. Was advertised this app on instagram in order to learn something new about ADHD. I filled out the initial quiz and got zero feedback on those questions. When I did sign up for the trial that information still wasn’t provided. Obviously decided not to continue and then tried to find information on how to not be charged. The website said to cancel in App Store. It said nothing about website sign ups. So I deleted my account and then was changed anyway, and they won’t refund the charge even though it was due to their lack of information..Version: 2.8.3

Shocking! Money grabbers!I kept getting ads for this app so I thought I would download it. I quickly deleted it after seeing it wasn’t for me but I was charged twice for subscription? I thought they must’ve somehow gotten my info from the App Store but once communicating with them through email, they said that I had gone in their website and filled out an extensive subscription form?? Never have I been on their website before! Don’t go on this app if you want to keep your money!.Version: 2.8.5

New aged snake oilI’ve been trying to find a good app for a friend of mine who can’t afford therapy but is desperately looking for insight. I clicked the link thinking it would be something fun that could help her but realized I had downloaded this app once before, only the click bait looked different this time. Either way was quick to remove it when I’d seen the cost to use and what you actually get with it back then. My concern isn’t that there is a charge it is the amount and the frequency of that astronomical charge. No app needs as much as you are charging to run. Especially when most of the tests are ripped off from free sights. To top it off every single comment on here that called you out for praying on desperate people hoping for help was met with either silence or “well some of our stuff is free”. Both are very childish responses that lack any accountability in the false hope you provide to your fellow humans during a time of global crisis. I do not recommend anyone pay into an app that is trying to make this much money off wounded people trying to find healing anyway they can. You are subjecting people to further feel like there is no hope because your wound is clearly greed, and you have projected in your costs. You’re not helping, you’re doubt dealers getting people hooked with snake oil knowing fully most people using your app can’t afford or find real help. A one time charge for less than your weekly is more than enough to run what you’re doing and still make a profit. Anything more just shows your true intentions for the users on your app..Version: 2.8.2

Quizzes are awful, app is a scamMultiple quizzes said I have low empathy. I have spent the last 10 years devoting my life to working with marginalized communities and helping others. Anyone who knows me knows that being empathetic is my greatest strength. After seeing those results, I couldn’t take any of the other quizzes seriously. They are honestly so bad and not research-based at all. Not to mention, so many of the questions are poorly written, make very little sense, and have multiple typos. Making customers pay $8.50 PER WEEK for such an unprofessional and fraudulent app is a scam. DO NOT use this app as a mental health resource. There are plenty of free resources online that are real and backed by research, not just made up. If you’re going to pay for mental health resources, your money will be far better spent with a certified therapist or on resources that come from reputable sources. Don’t waste money on this app..Version: 2.6.9

Interesting.I stumbled across this all on Instagram and it definitely seemed like something that would help me. I have been diagnosed with bipolar disorder so I thought it would help, some of the tests were ok however a few came back inconclusive and the mood disorder one told me I don’t have bipolar at all! Even though I have a professional medical diagnosis, and it runs in my family. Though I know this app is in no way a diagnosis but I thought it very odd that it came back negative. Weather I was not answering the questions as honestly as I could or if it’s the app’s systems I don’t know but it made me question my own self and identify within bipolar. Just something to think about..Version: 2.5.1

ScamDidnt even subscribed to this but theh already charged me 2x!!!! What a scam! Refund my money!!!.Version: 2.8.3

Not worth the moneyI can see how this would help others, but for me (with C-PTSD) it wasn’t very helpful at all. The quizzes are fun to do with friends I guess, but overall not worth the money. Signed up for a trial (not free) had to pay a £1 for the week and now on day 6 I have been charge £16 without any warning. I’ve also been unable to find any way to unsubscribe within the app, and the subscription isn’t showing up in my apple settings either. I have emailed the developer and also deleted my account, hopefully that will stop any future payments since I can’t see any other way to do so!.Version: 2.8.1

Incorrect assessmentI took the mood disorder test to see you if it would correctly guess that I had bipolar (which I have been diagnosed by a professional). I answered yes to every question that would conclude I have it. And I got a negative result.... Also these questions were testing for bipolar, etc. yet there were no questions about depressive episode. Only manic episodes. Might need to reevaluate your tests..Version: 2.4.9

Constantly trying to charge moneyRight, the app looked alright, I’ve been looking for an app to help me with my mental health so I know what I need to take care of so I don’t go into a bad place. I open the app and instantly tried to make me pay £7.49, I click no, thought that was then end. I go onto the tests part trying to look for what I wanted, I click “do test” and it keeps trying to make me pay £7.49. Anyways whenever you try and do anything it’s trying to make you pay £7.49. So unless you’re willing to spend it monthly, the app is pointless..Version: 2.8.0

Way too expensiveI can’t fathom how this app is so expensive! $14 a week, averaging out to almost $700 a year for… some personality tests, quizzes, and a mood tracker?? I know it sounds cynical but Breeze seems like a cashgrab for people with more money than sense, not ones struggling with legitimate emotional issues..Version: 2.6.4

Good app but not worth itThe app itself was good I used it for a little while then stopped having the spare time in the day. I didn’t cancel for a while (my bad) but when I looked at the billing history I had been charged twice in one bill more than once! Not really worth the follow up it was maybe $50 I lost but still keep an eye out folks.Version: 2.6.0

Just don't.Downloaded the app, signed up for the free trial, canceled the free trial, and deleted the app all in the span of 25~ minutes. The quizzes don't make any sense at all and a lot of the questions are repeated over and over, just phrased differently. I was getting the impression that it was more of a translation issue than anything else because a lot of the errors and typos were tense issues, but upon reading other reviews they do seem almost auto-generated. This app isn't that great and definitely not worth the subscription price. There are plenty of other mood trackers available on the app store for free! It seems like it's basically an accumulation of resources but all of the resources they are providing are free online. Literally type in the title to the articles on google and it's all there for free. I wouldn't be complaining if this app were free, but it's not and it is completely for no reason..Version: 2.4.9

Advertising free... it’s notHello You should fix the advertising that many people see on social media. Your company is advertising that the download is free. Then when you download, it says after 3 days you will be charged. I just downloaded today & I want to cancel BEFORE I get charged. I contacted apple support & they have stopped the payment from going through in 3 days. Please fix the problem at your end. Your advertising FREE DOWNLOAD but it’s not..Version: 2.3.7

Terrible appNot helpful and still trying to figure out how they took more money from me when I have no subscriptions..Version: 2.8.2

Click baitI saw an ad on Instagram about a quiz. And when I got onto the app i could not find it. Click bait. Ugh!.Version: 2.3.4

This App Is OutrageousThis app looked good on the advertisement in the social media apps I saw it on. It included many different intriguing tests and quizzes, so I downloaded the app. When I opened the app I found that most tests and quizzes were part of the subscription. So I clicked on the subscription, thinking it wasn't that expensive. £30 a month!? I decided to use the one week free trial to see how good it was. All I found were basic tests and quizzes you can find online for completely free. This app claims to help with mental health, yet it is just clickbait. If you are reading this while suffering mental health issues, I think an in-person therapist would definitely give you more for your money..Version: 2.6.4

SubscriptionImma start this off by saying this app is developed well and that it’s well organized and it could really help with your mental health theres quizzes to teach you about it but the down fall is that you have to pay. i understand that the developers need a way to get money but there’s other ways to get it like using ads or something and it’s not to much for the subscription but for someone like me i’m low on money and i thought this app would be able to help with my mental stability right now but i can’t spend my money on this app i already have trouble paying the bills like i said before there’s other ways you can get money besides having to pay a subscription. without the subscription you can track yourself and have a journal that’s about it with the subscription you get to take the quizzes and learn about your mental health and much more but if you really cared about the mental state of others you wouldn’t have the subscription on how to learn about it i mean i get the quizzes but we still need to be able to learn about our health and how to fix the issue. if you read all of that thank you for listening..Version: 2.6.8

Lost my trust immediatelyFor an app designed to explore vulnerabilities, it failed immediately. It caught my attention when adverted for people with childhood trauma. I downloaded it, made the account. It offered a free trial so I accepted. It immediately charged me for a weeks access. It’s meant to be a free trial. Next I explore a bit. Nothing there about childhood trauma. It’s misleading from the get go and not worth it. Addit - the developer contacted me and apologised for “my misunderstanding and confusion”. Massive red flag. The ad offered something specific and then failed to deliver. They took money at the beginning of a FREE trial - I’m not confused. Seems a developer is gaslighting vulnerable people..Version: 2.8.0

Not worth itTypos turned me off and the asking price is ridiculously expensive..Version: 2.7.0

Not worth your timeIt’s a glorified collection of online personality quizzes that can be found for free (eg myers briggs personality type) I downloaded the app after clicking an Instagram ad for Inner Me, which doesn’t seem to exist and none of the features shown in the demo were present in Breeze, so I’ve no idea what that was about. £7 a week subscription fee is ridiculous, especially having done the free trial and seen what your £7 a week unlocks. Do yourself a favour and start a journal. Give this app a miss..Version: 2.6.4

Alright, but not great. The results from the tests gave very minimal information and left me wanting. The courses where very basic and really not that informative. It would be good to see the app combine all the different test results to give you a good complete picture of yourself if that is even possible..Version: 2.7.0

In app subscription. Now I’m gonna start off by saying that this app is great! I love the very inclusive and caring feel it gives for people who struggle with mental health, addiction, recovery, etc. BUT this is the downside. We have to pay. Now I know the developers have to make money somehow but that’s what ads are for. I don’t want to pay for a subscription for self reporting tests and mood trackers. Respectfully I feel like if the devs truly cared about improvement for individuals and their struggles they would make all resources in this app easily accessible and this could also be a non profit app. Not everyone is gonna have money for this subscription. I know I don’t, regardless of having a job I have other expenses to take care of so this app would just be a waste of space if I can’t use it to its full potential. I’m not saying the company and people who developed this app shouldn’t get what they earned but like I said before there are ways of making apps free and using ads to gain profit. I would much rather have a great free app and deal with ads rather than having what could’ve been a great app that I unfortunately can’t use because I can’t afford it. I understand nothing in this world comes for free but taking care of myself and health shouldn’t come with an expense. I hope y’all take my response into consideration cuz I really did like this app. Y’all just gotta make it inclusive for everyone and anyone who needs it not just people who can afford it..Version: 2.4.3

Kept changing meCharged me for over a year after canceled subscription. Had to change my Apple ID because it just wouldn’t stop. This is insane!! DONT DOWNLOAD THIS.Version: 2.8.5

Would be good if it wasn’t so expensiveAfter downloading the app and having a quick look. It does appear the app would be good. I suffer with severe depression and think this would be a really good way to track my moods and I like looking for the best apps to do this. However, charging £7 a week or almost £40 every 3 months is so steep especially for an app that is to try and help people with their mental health. Overall, I think it would be a great app if it was cheaper. There is the free side of things but it only allows you to do so much as usual..Version: 2.2.2

ScamI downloaded this app for free and did not sign up to any payment plan. Somehow they have managed to take a payment from my bank account and I can’t find a way to cancel the payment. The app doesn’t show up on my subscription list on my phone. I contacted Apple, who were no help at all, but they did confirm that there is no record of the subscription on my account. I now have to contact my bank to ensure no more money is taken. I read online that other people have had the same issue. Please do not download this app!!!!!!.Version: 2.8.3

Don’t Subscribe For Free Trial! It’s a Scam!I was curious to try this app as someone who struggles with mental health. After I decided it wasn’t the best fit for my needs, I canceled my free trial through my Apple subscription account. Breeze has been charging my credit card monthly since. I now canceled my credit card which has become a big stressor. The company is hard to get a hold of and make it difficult to get a refund. This App and its misuse of subscription payment information has triggered the anxiety I was looking to treat. Avoid this app at all costs! There are better apps for mental health out there that won’t compromise your payment information..Version: 2.8.5

PayYou have to pay for this.Version: 2.8.3

SCAM APP THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND THE APP DOESNT WORKI downloaded this app to try n see if it helped, after the free trial ended I let the app take the money for a months subscription from my account as I was happy to continue. After a couple days of the payment being taken I went back into the app and all my premium features weren’t working I tried closing it and opening it again but still nothing worked I then emailed the app requesting a refund for it considering I couldn’t use the app that I had payed for and a couple days later I had an email saying the recipient actively refused to accept my email so I’ve paid for a month of the apps use and can no longer use it DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP UNLESS YOUR WILLING TO BE ROBBED!!!.Version: 2.7.9

Psychology StudentThere are many strengths to this app and many many weaknesses. Downloaded this to analyze for my clinical psychology course and found the app to struggle with a diverse collection for its users. The weekly $8.49 isn't a good idea to get users to directly want to pay. Perhaps a Monthly or Annual fee would be a better option to users who are likely rather than simply needing to use the app for a week or 2 they would likely need it for a month or longer. I don't feel like enough disorders are covered on the app. The only thing the user can use without a subscription is the mood journal. There needs to be more disorders listed, more inventories, more questionnaires... and perhaps less vague results for the users and a direct help of numbers stated if the person indicates a need for help. These are my opinions!.Version: 2.6.8

Please don’t download this app if you have actual mental health issuesI could absolutely guarantee that there is genuinely no science to back up any single thing on this app other than what has been ripped from official PHQ assessments which you can take by yourself for free anywhere. These BuzzFeed style “mental health assessments” are very degrading and please seek actual assistance from someone who respects you and you can trust to give you information like your “toxic trait” and if you’re a “manipulator”. I don’t even hate the idea but to label these things so negatively and then their added “cute” little graphics to represent it adds a layer of arrogance and doesn’t take mental health issues seriously. We all have toxic traits, the creators of this’ toxic trait is thinking they’re better than everyone else. Don’t waste your money on these pretentious people who want to label you, there are free resources to mental health clinics in times of need and if you’re feeling down on yourself remember these labels do not define you. Shame on yourself Breeze..Version: 2.6.4

STOP CHARGING MY ACCOUNT!This app is fake and a scam. Stop charging my account and refund..Version: 2.8.3

UnethicalBig fan of your intentions, and mood/symptom tracking. But please refer to some of your “psychological tests” as “quizzes” if they are yet to be validated in research. Being more transparent helps prevent misinformation and self-diagnosis, and also doesn’t imply that a psychological test is something one can do via an app rather than seeing a psychologist. I don’t believe Aaron Beck (the developer of one of your actually validated tests) would be pleased!.Version: 2.5.2

AvoidI canceled the subscription via the apple subscriptions tool on my phone immediately after signing up for the trial. I could see that my subscription was canceled but a week later they charged me for a week of access anyway. Avoid!.Version: 2.7.7

Scam!I took a chance on this app, in which upon signing up are prompted with a suggested payment option for a 7 day trial. Like some of the other reviews have mentioned, there was nothing particularly special with this app and the content can be found for free on the internet. After my trial, I deleted the app only to find they had taken my billing info, signed me up for automatic payments without my consent and billed me. Now I’m trying to get a refund.I do not recommend, this app is a scam..Version: 2.8.3

SCAMMMI downloaded this because it came up as an ad and I was curious. It asks you to do a free trial for a week then pay $10.49 a week after the trial. Immediately after I clicked “free trial” they charged me $6.08!!! I understand that’s not a lot of money, but it’s the fact that any money was charged to me as it is suppose to be a “free trial”. Scam app, don’t even waste your time!!! 😡😡.Version: 2.8.5

Money making appYou can’t even take a single test without it wanting you to pay!? Practically all you can do is write down how ur feeling, if I wanted to do that I could’ve just used notes instead of wasting my time downloading a stupid app!! Honestly this is ridiculous, there should at least be one free test that we can do so we know it’s worth paying, yes there’s a free trial, but it always makes you pay first! If I’m going to lay for an app, I at least want to know if it’s going to be worth it!!.Version: 2.8.5

Boooo!!!!I’ve been having some issues with my mental health for a long time now, I like little apps that can help even slightly, with all the advertisements i’ve seen of breeze: I decided to give it a go, The moment I try opening absolutely anything, It tries getting me to buy premium. I could quite literally only do 1 test due to the rest being premium. I don’t see why I would have to pay for so much. nor do I see why someone would waste money on a mental health app when there are far better ones for free. overall, i’d like if this app was not such a waste. a subscription is more irritating than you’d believe. perhaps they’ll change this one day; but for now i’ll stick to greater apps..Version: 2.6.8

ShockingSorry but charging people with mental health £7 odd a week to get help is a bit wrong, most people with mental health problems can’t even afford to eat because they can’t work, luckily I’m not one of these people but I do suffer bad with mental health, but I shouldn’t have to pay anything medical since medical is free in the uk for starters.. using peoples mental health to get lots of money is something I cannot and will not understand. Some people are really suffering, like really suffering, can you imagine being one of these people and then you find this awesome app that promises everything will be fine and you will feel better.. oh but wait, you have to pay nearly £30 a month for it and you only ever have £3 spare in your bank every week. Put yourselves in others positions. It’s absolutely atrocious that money is getting made from this..Version: 2.5.7

SubscriptionThe test: “determine your psychological gender” the questions: are you happy? so. that’s a bit weird. a lot of the gender test is like that, actually. the developers have said that this isn’t a diagnostic tool, of course, but…. i have been clinical diagnosed with major generalized anxiety, major depressive disorder, along with ocd for some time now. my results on both the anxiety and depression test told me i had “””minor””” depression and anxiety. i think this app has loads of potential, but so many of the tools they use are outdated and don’t recognize “non traditional” symptoms of mental illness. you know how a lot of psychology is centered around young white men? this is that, if that concept was an app. a lot of the tests are incredibly black and white, too. like, you can be both logical and sympathetic. those things aren’t contradictions. people are multifaceted. i don’t think i need to point out the obvious issue with the payment being insanely high for a low quality service. run ads, y’all, there is absolutely no reason this should cost 9$/ WEEK. but, nearly everyone else has already said that in better words, so. go check those reviews out. also, using someone’s independence as a way to measure their gender is hella weird. do better..Version: 2.6.9

Liked the app but no way to change emailThis was a really great app. I saw an ad for it on TikTok and downloaded it. I loved the features and the graphics. I also liked the assessments and the fact that it really delved into mental health and the underlying things behind it, rather than just giving you run-of-the-mill information. Seemed well thought out. Sadly, I’m only giving it one star because there is no way to change your email if you type it in incorrectly during the sign-up process, which unfortunately I did. There is also no support email listed on the app, and I had to go to the website to find a support email. I emailed them a month ago asking if I could have it changed to my correct email, and I never got a response. This is very problematic because an incorrect email could be receiving your personal health information or other details, and there is no way to fix it. If I’m going to pay $8 a month for an app, I expect there to be a way to change your email or to get a response from customer service. I hope they fix this issue..Version: 2.7.1

Dont waste your moneyThe quizzes are readily available online FOR FREE. Breeze costs 10.49 a Week!! This is a disgusting cash grab targeting people who need HELP. There is no actual mental health help here. Theres a test that will call you Karen as a personality type, these are not “real” and cannot help you on your journey if you are seeking answers..Version: 2.8.4

Wow the display is awful on an iPad!Had a quick look at this on my phone yesterday and looked OK, just downloaded onto my iPad OMG. One of the very few apps that hasn't been designed to fit on an iPad screen, are we still in 2010? No we can't be because back then apps cost a dollar or two, but for this we are expected to pay $129pa!! Extremely disappointed.Version: 2.5.6

Have to email to cancel subscriptionIt was an ok app but it didn't work for me and then cancelling took ages cause I couldn't find where to cancel. I had to google to find out you have to email them to cancel your subscription. There was no information in the app or on the email they sent when you sign up..Version: 2.8.4

Not great. It’s nice I can write down how I’ve been feeling and there’s a lock on it so no one else is able to read it but why do we have to pay for extras like something as little as changing the colour scheme? Being able to change that would definitely make it more inviting. I don’t see why someone would make an app for people struggling with their mental health but then have ads and in-app purchases. Isn’t the goal to help others not make it more stressful? The only time I feel a little relief is when I can write down and let go of what’s bothering me. Can someone change this or at least make it reasonably affordable? A lot of people with severe mental health issues (such as myself) don’t have much..Version: 2.5.5

Incredibly difficult to cancelI’ve never written a review for an app before but I had to for this one. I wish I had read the reviews before I got sucked in to doing the tests by an Instagram ad. It charges you on a weekly basis, and there is no way to cancel through Apple subscriptions you have to email the app directly which is very frustrating. Do not download.Version: 2.8.5

:/I’m not one to write reviews, especially bad ones, but I’ve been very unhappy with this app. In absolutely no way is this worth $20 a month. All it is is an extremely basic mood tracker (go buy a journal for a dollar it’ll last for months) and some mediocre quizzes that make you question these people’s credibility. In addition to not at all being worth the money they charge, it’s also nearly impossible to cancel the subscription (I did a free trial) you can’t do it through the app, and for me it never showed up in my Apple subscription settings, it was also difficult to figure out how to contact support, and I ended up just deleting the account hoping against hope that that would make them stop charging me (it didn’t) anyway, throughout this journey I ended up spending about $80 on something that was completely useless to me and unavailable to me most of the time anyway. They will not refund you no matter the circumstances, so, just money down the drain that I could’ve put toward the emergency surgery I need..Version: 2.8.2

Not mental health orientedSo I used this app or tried to use it for a school assignment plus I needed an app to help me with my mental health and stress and I thought it would be great. It turns out that everything is blocked by a paywall and I’m a student I don’t have the money to pay for anything not only that the amount of ads makes it so much more stressful having to constantly refresh it. If your going to respond I do not want to know about your promotions and deals they are money oriented and that does not help. If things where changed I’d certainly rate higher.Version: 2.6.8

I’d give zero stars if I couldDO NOT waste your money. This app is a complete scam & money grab. Unfortunately an Instagram ad pulled me in and I succumbed to signing up for the free trial…I decided to cancel it after two days and couldn’t find anywhere to cancel it from the app, nor by searching online for their website. So I emailed support and received an automated response “confirming the receipt of my cancellation request”…that was 3 days ago and I’ve not received a response…yet their app continues to attempt charges. Ironic an app advertised for “mental health” makes this process so complicated. Your app has given me more anxiety, not the other way around..Version: 2.8.3

CancelCan someone please help me I have been trying to cancel my subscription for ages now and I keep getting charged.Version: 2.7.0

False advertisingThe adverts for this app showing on social media (Eg: Instagram) are showing tests that do not exist when you are in the app (Eg: manipulation test, sexuality test). In addition to the advertised personality tests not existing the tests that are in place have errors (Eg: numbers missing from questions such as, ‘do you spend more than hours a day online’) or have irrelevant questions you can’t skip (eg: about a partner discounting some people taking the test could be single). The app also immediately tries to get you to pay for an expensive subscription and almost no features are available for free. There are only 19 tests, most of which take under 5 minutes to fill in and are no different to the many free tests you can find online. There is nothing unique about anything on this app and it feels like it’s just set up to get people to subscribe and hopefully forget to cancel before the first payment as there in nothing worth £30 a month (thats £360 annually) in this app..Version: 2.6.4

ThiefThis app after I cancelled before the 7 day trial ended just took money from my account. I have canceled because of the false advertisement of what came with the app. Now they took my money and I cannot get into the app because I deleted my account..Version: 2.8.2

DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEYI hope nobody wastes their money on this excuse of an app…these quizzes are everywhere online and available FOR FREE!!!! Mental health should never be something to grab money from, it is more important than that….😡😒😞 Please anyone that reads the reviews be aware that this app is 100% a money grab. If you are wondering about mental health please just search on google; there are so many of these quizzes available online for free. There are also books that you can purchase with quizzes to help guide you to some possible answers. Then reach out to your family physician or search your local health care for resources that can help..Version: 2.6.2

This is an scamI signed up and then it is not allowing me to cancel the subscription, doesn’t have a support area where I can complain and they keep charging me.Version: 2.8.4

Was going to try it but..I downloaded the app but it’s only free to use for a week before it takes a weekly subscription. I find that kind of deceitful and not good for people like me that constantly forget to subscribe from ‘free’ trials. So I didn’t even try it as if I didn’t delete it right away the chances of me forgetting to get rid of it before a payment was taken would be high. It’s a shame because the idea is good and the design and layout of what I did see looked nice. Just can’t afford to have payments taken just because I’d forget to unsubscribe..Version: 2.5.7

Irresponsible.Want to better yourself and your life quality? Want to improve your mental health and work on your personal drawbacks? Well…too bad because you can’t afford it. This app is advertised across so many platforms as an accessible way to try to navigate the difficulties of life these days and improve your handling of such times but honestly is just as big a money grab of a scam as 98% of “mental health” apps that exist these days. Extortion of the vulnerable shouldn’t be allowed to be so widely publicised and the developers should be ashamed. I know everyone needs to make money and a living - but DO NOT be irresponsible enough to claim you are trying to help those who need it only to crush them back into the ground with your ridiculously high paywalls. Honestly cheaper to just go see a professional. Sincerely, Disgusted and still mentally ill..Version: 2.7.9

$10/weekThis app’s target audience is most likely ppl with high income. Low-middle income households won’t be able to afford $10/week, just like they wouldn’t be able to afford $50-$100/hour session with a therapist. I don’t blame the company for wanting a high profit, but the way I see this is that the user experience only cater toward a certain segment. I would probably rate it a 2 stars if it was $10/month. 5 stars if they had an improved pricing model. Like for example, if they set it as a tier pricing system - $2/month to unlock certain tests, $5/month to unlock more features and $10/month to unlock all the features. That’s my take on this app as a marketing and UI/UX design student..Version: 2.6.1

Are you jokingDon’t get me wrong, initially it was a good app. I’ve used this app for over 3 years with no issue, it has 3 years worth of my emotions and feelings written down on there. I like to go back and review them all once a while to look at the stuff i’ve overcome in the past. Now here’s the issue, as I was gonna do that today I notice none of my data was saved cause now you have to create an account. Don’t get me wrong, I have no issue with creating an account. But you’ve got to be kidding me, all my data and 3 years worth of journaling was erased? For no reason? That’s an absolute joke. I want my data restored cause what is this? Uninstalling the app until it’s fixed. Huge mistake..Version: 2.7.6

Full of bad resultsI took the test for mood disorders, which is basically the test for bipolar. I’m able to answer yes to every single question, including the question that asks if a health professional has ever said I have bipolar. YES. I also was able to answer YES to the experiencing mixed episodes where you have more than once symptom at one time. The ONLY question I answered no to was having a hereditary or genetic disposition to it, no one in my family has been officially diagnosed. And this app over and over says I have a negative result. That’s about all I need to know about the credibility of this app, when I say yes to every symptom I’ve experienced with my bipolar II, yes to a medical professional diagnosis (which I have), and the app still says I have a normal range. This is a laughable algorithm they have developed. Oh dear. Cancelled the subscription after about three other tests were taken, results were less than impressive as someone who’s been heartily enmeshed in the therapy game for a long time. Not worth anyones time. Didn’t even last a whole two hours, and you get a free week subscription. Bye bye apple subscription. What a wasted click bait on an Instagram ad. Can we rate this lower than one star? No?.Version: 2.5.4

Disagree with subscriptionI would love to use this service, this is a great utility. Let me! The last someone having mental health troubles wants is a monthly fee looking over them. Like, make a limited version for free users to get used to the program, with ads, and incentivise people to buy the full version. There’s no need for a service like this to have such a predatory business practice. One of the effective advertising campaigns in mental health is word of mouth, offering a one time payment option will allow people to more easily recommend this. Hearing something has a subscription model is a major turn off for the consumer, people are never excited about it, they begrudgingly accept. The app is great, it’s just the business model that needs a rework..Version: 2.6.5

SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAMEdit: despite cancelling within the free trial period, they have attempted to charge my credit card 3 separate times for 3 different amounts. I received an auto reply to my request for help and they have ignored my follow up requests. The standard reply here from the developer seems to be to contact them with more details, but why would I want to give this company more of my information? After taking the ADHD quiz through a social media app I downloaded the app for the results and to see if it would work for me. The results from the quiz didn’t transfer and I was going to have to take the quiz again (not great if you have ADHD) so I immediately cancelled my free trial. I could tell already this app wasn’t the right fit for me if o had to duplicate the task. Got a notification from my bank that the app is trying to bill me $27.99??? Confirmed in my Apple subscriptions that I did indeed cancel during the free trial. Overall, an app designed for mental health that I was ad targeted for for ADHD seems to be taking advantage of the executive function deficits and I can’t even tell on the app how to confirm I’m not going to continue to be charged..Version: 2.8.5

Unauthorised chargeI downloaded this for help with my mental health but was unexpectedly charged without my authorisation and cancelling it has not been an easy process. This experience has left my mental health in a worse state!!!!!.Version: 2.8.2

Good, but needs improvementWhile some more useful benefits of this app are behind a paywall, there's still a lot to love about it. Cute, simple and calming design, a variety of emotions and feelings, the ability to view trends over time — lovely. I do have my criticisms. It would be helpful to have a time-sensitive lock, or an option to lock it while in the app if someone looks over. The ads sometimes interrupt me inputting my password, so better advertisement timing would be good. The statistics were moved in the last update; they were most beneficial where they were, now they're difficult to find despite being most helpful. The unhappy-sad-bad-ok-good-great-happy slider was more useful than the simplified one unhappy-bad-ok-good-happy. A happy customer, but the app does need clear improvement..Version: 2.3.6

Not freeAdvertised as free with in app purchases. Actually costs $10.49/wk..Version: 2.4.1

Paid contentEverything is with a subscription minus a few things, nothing indicates if it’s locked or not so it’s trial and error to figure it out and have to click no to subscribing twice each time you pick something behind the pay wall, If you don’t indicate what’s free and what’s not it will make people uninstall without going further into the app or testing things. Make more of it free or indicate what is actually able to be used, Don’t shove a paid subscription down our throats..Version: 2.7.6

Cancellation is ScammyWanted to give this a go and used the trial. Couldn’t work out how to cancel (I usually just go through the App Store, but I signed up through website) and in the end deleted all the account data and the account itself to try and stop the £16 (!!!) monthly payment. This did not cancel the subscription and you have to instead email their support and request cancellation. Don’t do it on the day of your 7 day trial expiring as they will not revoke the payment. A scammy way to get more money out of people by making this so unclear - why not just have an ‘unsubscribe’ button in account settings?! I’ve been told I can access features until the end of the billing period, but tried to point out that I cannot do this as I deleted the account as I couldn’t find info on unsubscribing. If you are going to download the app, ensure you download via the apple or google store to avoid being cheated out of your money..Version: 2.8.4

Why the need to pay???I hate when apps asks me to pay, this is why I continue to struggle with mental health, because I cannot find an app that is all free! It is a total scam! Because if you really cared about our mental health than you wouldn’t make it cost. Goes to show your doing it for money and not actually for our mental health..Version: 2.7.4

Pay to play for mental healthI came to this app after seeing ads for it everywhere and figured I needed some help and after downloading I found next to no help because everything that could’ve been useful to me was locked behind a paywall. Couldn’t find an ounce of help without being told I had to pay for it. Given I needed just a tiny bit of something and all I got was the good old “seven day free trial that requires your credit card info” this was extremely dissatisfying. Would give 0/5 if possible.Version: 2.7.0

PaymentYou have to buy it or make an account. Otherwise you can barely do anything. Very boring app..Version: 2.8.3

Disgusting. The notion that individuals would squander their funds on an app purportedly catering to mental health is truly disheartening. There exists a plethora of quizzes available online or the option to seek professional help from a qualified healthcare provider for authentic insights and assistance. Mental well-being should never be commodified, as it's an exceedingly serious matter that transcends monetary value..Version: 2.8.2

A shameI struggle with my mental health and I’m always looking for the perfect apps to help me. Unfortunately, as lovely as this app looks, £7.49 a week is far too expensive, and it’s completely inaccessible to so many people who have average (not even necessarily low) incomes. A real shame as the price tag turns people like me away from downloading, and even when you do it’s so locked down you can barely get a real taste for it. Very unfortunate, especially as so many people are struggling with their mental health, particularly in light of the last two years..Version: 2.5.2

It has great potential! But has a major issue…This app is really well designed and an overall great idea and nice features! The aesthetic is extremely nice and I can tell the devs worked really hard to give the users a nice experience. However, with that being said, the paid subscription feature is extremely ridiculous. Over $8 a week is a bit much if you ask me… I feel like the addition of a paid subscription at all is a poor choice considering it’s a MENTAL HEALTH app, designed to make people feel better. It completely goes against what the app is preaching. What makes it worse is that there are little to no free features without the subscription, so the app is almost useless without it. (Pretty much all the tests are locked and most other features are unavailable as well.) The daily mood thing is nice, and I like how it tracks how you feel each time you fill it out but that’s just about the most useful thing on there without the subscription. I feel as though the subscription should just be removed completely, because it seems really selfish of the devs to add such a thing. I understand that they might need money, but the high price they’re asking is just not right. At the very least, price should be much, much lower than it is….Version: 2.7.0

Not freeIf you have the money to spend then get this app it has premium on the add it’s saying it’s “free” which it is but you don’t have any of the game, courses or tests unlocked to unlock these you need premium (money) based on the fact that it says it’s free I would give it 4 stars but the fact that it has premium and you have to unlock games, courses and tests that tell you about your mental health I’m giving it a 1 star. I’m very sorry to the people that made this app..Version: 2.3.8

Good concept, not great userbilityAfter over a month of usage I don’t feel as if I knew any more on how to operate it. I can never find the tab I was just on, the tab titles overlap in a bug and it requires more time to operate than actually record my previous days. It’s a pretty app with good options but it needs major improvement before I download again. It also isn’t sensitive enough in its assessment of my week overall, after a week of very low mood, the app inaccurately told me I was feeling ‘generally okay’ that week. Too bitty and not sensitive enough especially after using similar apps which require a fraction of the effort to use. Sadly deleted on this basis alone..Version: 2.2.7

Money hungryAdvertises itself as a fun quiz app, but every quiz costs money to access. Lame!.Version: 2.7.5

Expensive and cruelThe subscription is expensive and the benefits are not very extensive and can only be used for a short amount of time before there’s nothing left to do with the app. I’ve read other reviews of people saying the same thing I’ve said and the owners of the app are just saying that most of the features are accessible without the subscription but that’s just not true. There is one test/course you can take without the subscription and there are lots of ads and bugs and it’s very frustrating. This app is clearly taking advantage of people with mental health problems by charging them to get help. You don’t need to pay £30 a month for a few tests..Version: 2.6.0

Possibly worthwhileThis app is possibly accurate and useful, but there are just so many mistakes in the English that I’m inclined not to trust it. After all, if so little care went into the English, which I do know something about, how can I be sure that enough care has gone into the science, which I don’t know much about?.Version: 2.6.6

$$The app itself is awesome. There’s tests and new ways to discover yourself and help yourself. Fun little games you can use as distractions in it which is pretty cool The only downside, it costs money to do most of those things… you can’t take 90% of the tests and other things without paying. I understand why you’d need to pay but let’s say for a person with financial issues as well as a bunch of mental issues on top of that couldn’t rlly do anything with this app.Version: 2.6.4

Very expensive and many things lost in translationLet’s begin with the most important thing: after your free trial, the app is $8.50 per WEEK. That’s $34 per month. That is a ton of money: basically as much as cable television, but for a mood-tracking app. I’m not sure what I’m paying for here: it features quizzes (like the now-discredited Myers-Briggs personality type) that can be easily obtained for free online. And I found it confusing that in the “what are you doing right now” section of tracking one’s activities and mood, there is no option for “work” or “chores”! So, this app would be great if you are a wealthy heir/heiress who never works and you want to track how you respond to eating, playing, and hanging out with friends. I didn’t need the full week’s trial- I knew right away that this wasn’t for me, and canceled my subscription after less than a day. While I can appreciate that this app was clearly designed by someone for whom English is a second language, there are so many typos, misspellings, and mis-translations that it becomes distracting..Version: 2.5.2

Be careful of this app and companyThis app is clearly preying on people with mental health issues, I paid money for a trial (yes you would think a trial would be free) and then after cancelling my trial I was charged $30 for the month. Have tried multiple times to get a refund for the monthly fee and am told that is not possible. What a waste of everyone’s time and money. Do better Basenji. Be transparent and do not hide behind hidden subscription fees..Version: 2.8.2

Used to be great but the new update is so annoyingI used to love this app and would have given it 5 stars and more because it was so quick and I could just tap away for 2 mins everyday and every other app seemed to take forever and I loved the emoji pictures because sometimes when I couldn’t understand myself I could compare it to the emojis. But the new update has vastly decreased the quality of the app. It now takes forever, everything is spaced out differently and it’s just annoying, the emojis have gone and you can only pick 10 feelings which is so frustrating as feelings are complex and unlimited. I wish I could go back to before the update..Version: 2.5.7

Don’t waste your money on this appI’m generally a pretty easy person to please and I really don’t mind paying for apps. But I was very disappointed in the premium version of this app. The aesthetics are very nice, yes, but there is very little substance to the app. As of now, there are only 19 tests, most if not all of which can be found online. The tests are riddled with typos, and some questions make no sense at all. There is also a disappointing number of courses, and they really only explore issues at a very surface level. A paragraph and a few lines of text (at BEST) is what constitutes a lesson. From the high price and advertisements I’ve seen, I was expecting a lot more substance. I have been diagnosed with a few mental issues which are moderate to severe, and I’ve been in therapy for a while. If you’re considering getting this app and have tried therapy before, it will be a waste. If you’ve never tried therapy, you may get something out of the lessons but it will be very shallow. I recommend checking out other online resources. The ONLY redeemable feature of this app is the mood tracker. I like how you can easily see how your mood fluctuates, the ease in tracking activities related to your moods, and the ability to add a photo to the day is a nice touch. And this feature is absolutely free. In short, free version - worth it. paid version - absolutely not..Version: 2.5.7

I have to payI have been looking at the reviews and I see the main issue is money. I’m a high school student that suffers from anxiety and depression, I was hoping to understand myself better with this app. Although I was quickly disappointed, I know this app it great for checkups, but I want to understand myself and help myself recover.Version: 2.7.3

Not happyI ended up with a subscription I couldn’t cancel because I never made an account and so I had to cancel my credit card and I paid a fortune for the app I can’t even access. I would really like a refund..Version: 2.8.2

Would not recommendSave yourself the trouble and don’t even download this..Version: 2.4.1

Tests are far too generalized & inaccurateEvery test I’ve tried I’ve had to exit before I could finish because the options were inapplicable or didn’t make sense for me. Every person is unique and situations are different. There isn’t always a clear cut answer. More versatility is needed. I found no knowledge or helpful information within this app. I love the concept but hate the execution..Version: 2.6.1

Why do i have to pay to do what’s advertised? NOT WORTH ITI was getting adds for this app A LOT on my social media so i decided to download it bc i have been really struggling with my mental health. the main reason i got it was bc of the advertisement for all the different tests and quizzes and i enjoy doing that because for me it sometimes gives answers that i can work on for different aspects of my mental health and my personality. however EVERY SINGLE TEST i could not do unless i paid?!!??? what’s the purpose. i don’t have enough money to spend on an app. the main features that are depicted in 90% of the ads you cannot actually do unless you pay for the subscription. i don’t understand why someone would make an app for people suffering mentally but they can’t actually use the majority of the features unless they spend money on it. which by the way, a lot of people suffering mentally do not have much money, and definitely do not have disposable money for an app that’s meant to be made for them to help them. try to make it more suitable and helpful and cheaper, because at this point it’s helping no one but the people with money..Version: 2.6.3

Why am I paying for my own mental health!?All the tests like “what triggers your anxiety” need to be PAID FOR Like seriously I thought you wanted to help people not make them pay for their own mental health, however I do enjoy all the other aspects like the mini games and how creative the check-ins are.Version: 2.6.4

False adsYet another app that is riddled with false advertising and actually an expensive app with low functionality. Steer clear. It’s disgusting with these advertising practices..Version: 2.5.7

Kind of buggy but i really like itI really love this app! it has a really cute design that makes me want to use the app even more often. i really like the slider feature to choose your mood. although, if it is after a certain time of day, it changes the entry to the next day, instead of the current day? and there’s no way to edit this. when i go into the edit section, it says it is some day in September 2018. also, i got rid of all the presets in the “what have you been up to” section, because i wanted to only have my own, but the ‘+’ button went away when i deleted a few of them. so there is no way to add more anymore!! i really like the app, and the design is so cute!! i could get past the sometimes having the wrong date, but i hate that i’m going to have to uninstall and lose all of my entries, and reinstall in order to get the “what have you been up to” thingys back..Version: 1.8.7

Need to pay for everythingWaste of money you can just go on websites and do it for free.Version: 2.8.5

Okay but..I found this app. very cool but there is one.. not problem but thing I can’t do. I don’t have the money to spend on an app like this. I did the free trial and it was great but when it ended I could only access very few things. I understand that people need to make money in ways and that is how they make money but for people like me, who can’t spend the money on an app (difference between can’t and don’t want too) can’t access the whole thing and stuff that could and would help us. I’m not saying to change the whole app to be free cause I understand you need to make money as much as I do but I can spend my money on stuff like this. I understand your purpose of this app and I think it is great for people who have money to spend and think it would be a great investment to spend it on this I just individually can’t. But keep doing what you are doing and I think you will change peoples lives for the better. <3 Nikki.Version: 2.6.4

Scam, Scam, Scam!!!The subscription does not show up in your Apple account, like it’s supposed to. You can’t cancel on their website with an account. You have to write to request cancellation and if you don’t, they send you a highlighted screen shot of the incredibly hard to find fine print. Out right scam. Do not download this app!!!.Version: 2.8.3

Misleading advertisementI feel part of the reason so many are upset is due to advertising on the apps end, I occasionally run across advertisements that say try for free, and sure I may not expect it to be free, however when you show a specific test, or someone using a specific feature thats locked behind a pay wall, i'd say there is an issue. Putting a try for free while also placing someone taking a test that you'd have to pay for is poor advertising, sure maybe you get someone to download it but it ends up being frustrating and misleading. Considering the app focuses on helping, it can be a huge let down for people to download an app, and realize they can't afford it and it's way too costly. I have downloaded this in the past, but not for the free features, and due to the features locked behind money I was fairly quick to uninstall. I only came back today due to an ad that was very misleading. Fix your ads for this because this app is not as free as you make it out to be. Once you do that i'm sure it'd be a lot better, because at the moment when I clicked it there was a lot of try for frees all over the site, when you only have a small amount actually accessible to people. I would likely retract my bad rating and review if that problem was actually fixed..Version: 2.5.2

Don’t do itFor some reason I can’t cancel my auto renewal with this app. It’s not listed under my subscriptions..Version: 2.8.2

You Have To PayIt’s a good idea for an app and I can see how it would help people manage and improve their mental health and overall wellbeing. But it’s very disappointing that you have to pay to access all its features. From what I can see, you can only access your mood diary with the free version. To access tests and courses and everything else, you need to pay for a subscription. I’m not happy to do that and considering I’m in a very bad financial situation at the moment which is stressing me out and this app is supposed to help you feel better about yourself… It hasn’t done a very good job so far for me 🤣 So I have deleted it..Version: 2.5.7

Poor content and overcharging when cancelledI’ve cancelled the subscription and deleted my account within the trial period as the content was too basic and not useful to me. Then I was continued to be charged. The support insisted I had to cancel on Apple Pay (that was already done) and I’m still waiting for a resolution. I’m getting attempted charges every day despite asking them to delete all my data. This is a major lack of compliance regarding data protection so be careful when signing up for any of the apps from this developer..Version: 2.8.2

Disingenuous advertisingI’m downloaded Breeze after a seeing an advertisement that implied the app had habit tracking functions. This implication is also made in a recent post on their Instagram account — however, this feature is not part of the app. I can see from Instagram comments that other people feel similarly disappointed. Would not have downloaded (and more importantly, PAID) for this app if I had known there was no such option. Please consider removing these disingenuous advertisements and posts..Version: 2.1.8

This app is a scam. This app doesn’t make any sense, there are typos everywhere. For example, the pre-loaded markers for “what are you doing” when you submit a mood (e.g. “sad”) have some normal things like exercise and eating, but also some that are not even activities like, “travel tips.” The quizzes have questions that aren’t comprehensive by any means, which would be ok if they made any sense. The questions are sometimes not just poorly worded, but actually nonsensical. I hope no one uses these quizzes to figure out if they have signs of anxiety etc. I don’t know where they got these assessments but they appear autogenerated or something. For example, it will say “how often do you feel sad?” And then the options will be “not at all, mildly - it didn’t impact me.” The subscription is incredibly expensive for what this app is, which leads me to believe this is a scam. I used it for free for one day before canceling. I recommend using a different app. Update: I received a response asking for screen shots. I sent one screen shot to the developer, however the issues I’m citing above are so blatant and everywhere that it’s difficult for me to believe this is a bug. I would encourage anyone considering this app to exercise caution..Version: 2.4.2

They will tip you off when you cancel after 2 days!First of all the service of the app is horrendous. I’ve been studying clinical psychology for 19 years and their tests are absolutely laughable and ridiculous. They are not based anyway in science. Therefore, I canceled my subscription two days into the “”””free week trial”””” which I started on the 20th and it expired on the 27th and on the 31st they went ahead and charged me 1999+ a dollar randomly now I have to dispute it with my bank. And have multiple phone calls with them all week. Thanks breeze you’re really awesome about mental wellness that was sarcasm. They went ahead and charged me behind my back without my informed consent through my PayPal, which I never authorized, and I had canceled it two days into the subscription, because it absolutely is a useless app for a healthcare professional. Now with PayPal, I have to wait till July to be able to file a dispute so if I don’t get my money back through Basenji enterprises whatever they want to call themselves, more like switch and bait and lie to you-ji, I have to jump through all of these hoops to get my money back and I’m not working right now because I am taking care of my mental health and this app is absolutely going to take all of your money without even asking. Crossing this review across my TikTok Instagram with over 1000 followers Facebook and more. Don’t even sign up for this app. This is absolutely horrible..Version: 2.8.2

Deleted all my entries :((((I’ve been using this app for a while to keep track of my moods and this new update deleted all my daily entries!!! I’m super disappointed, it feels like I put so much time into this app for nothing. I’m also disappointed that I now have to type out my moods, I feel like it was easier to get my emotions out by finding the right word and not having to think of it. Honesty will probably end up deleting it because it’s too much effort now. 💔.Version: 2.7.6

Basically gives diagnoses off the broadest of answers.I took the ADHD test and answered “very rarely” for most questions except the one where it asked if you have trouble concentrating on a boring task to which I answered “often” (because doesn’t everyone?) and it told me I most likely have adhd. Even though it states it’s not an official diagnosis its still not a good assessment based off the answers I gave. I found this with quite a few of the tests I took. Things like this are the reason everyone now a days claims to have OCD, ADHD, Autism etc just because of normal basic traits. It’s harmful to people who actually do suffer with these conditions..Version: 2.7.6

Egregiously abysmalThis app just has quizzes you can find anywhere else. Also when signing up for a subscription it says they’ll let you know when your next charge will be in case you don’t wanna pay. For me they did not and I forgot about until I saw a $30 charge on my account. Nooooo thank you. Scam artists fr.Version: 2.8.2

Highly InsensitiveIt’s not free. You have to give payment information immediately, even to start the 3 day “free” trial. Also, Breeze creators, you can’t “beat” depression. That’s not how depression works. And you don’t just “overcome” anxiety. That’s not how anxiety works. Phrasing it that way is incorrect, insensitive and damaging. Try “find ways to help cope with depression/anxiety”..Version: 2.3.4

Super averageNot worth paying for. The quizzes are as abstract as astrology. And the typos are very cringe.Version: 2.6.8

Not greatSo I saw this advertised on Instagram and it seemed really good. Really loved the design and layout but the tests are so inaccurate that I deleted the app and cancelled the subscription. If it can’t get my basic traits right then it definitely won’t give the right support etc. It said my motivation is one of my strong points in the emotional test and that is literally one of my weakest traits and something I am working on, to stay focused and keep motivated (hard with adhd) so as soon as I saw that I question the entire validity of the tests. And if the tests give inaccurate results it won’t give decent help. Not for me..Version: 2.5.7

Be WarnedI did the childhood trauma test, thought it might be ok to subscribe to do some other tests and be encouraged to write more. I had misread the 7 day trial and thought it was free. Had a super busy week and forgot I’d even signed up until I saw 2 charges taken from my bank. I was confused as I had no confirmation email and no purchase history through Apple. I contacted customer service and they were very helpful. They cancelled my subscription straight away and offered a refund on the first months payment. I didn’t even use the app but was happy with the explanations from Kateryna and the refund. Would I recommend this app No, they are quick to take your money and reports from many others say they same, I was lucky I got some refund.Version: 2.8.5

Warning! Can't cancel payments easily.I had to go through my credit card company to cancel this subscription. Not worth it..Version: 2.8.4

My problem with the appSo i saw an add on instagram for this app and figured i would try it out, i clicked around and saw a test that i had to pay for just about everything. I obviously under that if you are going to make an app it is preferred to be able to make money from it BUT if you are making an app about mental health and helping yourself i think that there should be much more free access for people who may not have the recourses to pay for this app or therapy. I think that it is a cute app overall though..Version: 2.6.1

Stop using mental health to get money it’s disgusting 🤢I got this app thinking it help me because I can’t afford therapy but of course you’re using peoples mental health to get money absolutely disgusting and unacceptable.Version: 2.7.0

Not inclusive to disabled people in quizesSome of the quizzes are great, but others are not. when it ask you about how your work effects you, how on earth am I as a disabled person who can’t work supposed to answer those kind of things? It assumes everyone can work, which is a bunch of boloney! Also, add some quizzes for abusive familial and friend relationships too. Not everyone has experienced a relationship, especially people like me who is autistic and has trouble with social cues, which makes it harder for people to like me. Not saying that is the case for every autistic person, but for me, my social cue issues come off too weird for people to want to be with me as a partner. A lot of people need help figuring out if their family or friends are abusive to them, so those would really beneficial kind of quizzes. Not everyone wants a relationship with people in a romantic way anyways. I do like other quizes such as the masculine and feminine psych test, which helped me feel affirmed with the result of androgynous. I also liked the ADHD and depression/anxiety tests, and so forth..Version: 2.7.1

Overly simplisticThe questions on most personality tests have two answers that sometimes are not things that you would identify with for either and sometimes the questions themselves are strangely worded or asked in a way you don’t identify yourself with, or agree with, instead of with neutrality or inquisitiveness. Some of the questions are odd in themselves such as being strangely worded, feeling incomplete, or as if they were translated from a different language. The mood disorders quiz feels way too short and simplistic to be telling someone to look out for possible bi-polar disorder when a lot of these same answers to their questions could be associated with ADHD such as impulsiveness, energy, and talkativeness Some of the quizzes can be insightful if they actually manage to ask the right questions and supply the right answers, and mostly if it seems to be a simple subject, such as a depression, anger, abusive relationships, etc. The daily mood log is overly simplistic, with only five options, ranging from very sad, sad, neutral, happy, to very happy with no other moods or feelings outside of that spectrum. All in all this feels like a kids app or like a very basic researched series of small quizzes in the back of a magazine. I wouldn’t use this if you actually care to understand anything serious about yourself unless you’re absolutely clueless about yourself and your feelings or the way you deal with things..Version: 2.7.0

Rather shallow - not useful if you’re already getting helpIf you already have a sense of self awareness, or are already working on yourself through therapy or more, then this app simply is not worth your time and definitely not the cost of subscription. The tests feel amateurish and frankly too rigid to be of any help. Most questions have only two answers to choose from and it basically boils down to yes or no. That’s simply not helpful for me and likely many others like me who might struggle making black and white statements and decisions. Nothing in life is so simple as, ‘do you do this or that,’ and the lack of nuance and circumstantial answers makes me question the value of whatever results they may provide. This might be useful for people who don’t realize that they could benefit from self reflection or therapy. Maybe someone who never trusted therapy - perhaps this could be something like a gateway to self discovery and healing, and then they have an epiphanous realization that maybe they could benefit from it after all? But I’ve lived with whatever you want to call my issues for twenty some years now. I’ve already started trying to heal and feel better, and I’ve learned a considerable amount about myself in the process. So for me, and others who have lived most of their lives with these issues and illnesses and whatnot, this isn’t going to do much..Version: 2.7.7
