✓ MediocreI download this program to do one simple thing and split a large audio file so that I can upload it to an AI editor for speech to text. It keeps crashing and then trying to recover the file, but will not export. I am not asking this program to do anything but split a four hour audio recording into two hours, if I can’t do this simple task, I can’t imagine it doing anything else requesting my money back for signing up for pro. It is not worth it..Version: 2.7.5
✓ SoundLabOk so I’m not the best with computers and apps and stuff which is why they should be made easy to use ! So why can’t I import a tune from my iTunes the app is on my iPhone my tunes are on my iPhone they’re all paid for so why is it soooooo hard 🤦🏻♂️.Version: 2.5.14

✓ Doesn’t Fulfil Expectations.I got this app in the hope that it would stand out in a good way to the other supposed “Music Making” apps. I was mistaken. Most of the functions are glitchy and basic. And what’s more, the majority of functions you can’t even use without paying for the overpriced “Premium Version” that’s added to so many apps. But what really let me down was the “AI Vocal Separator”. I have been looking for a working one of these for a while now, and I had high hopes that this time I’d found my saviour. I was disappointed as I found that it doesn’t really remove vocals, it just turns their volume down. If I try to extract vocals, it has a prolonged loading process, and when it FINALLY ends, SoundLab closes. I have now deleted the app out of fury 😡. I would really appreciate it if someone would actually put some effort in to making this app more helpful..Version: 2.7.3

✓ OkayIt would be awesome if it worked. Instead, I work on a track for a few minutes and then it starts popping and stalling and I have to restart the app. It’s taken me 2 weeks to work on this 1 project because I have to keep closing and reopening the app every time it gets overloaded..Version: 2.7.20

✓ Great but doesn’t saveI had such an easy time figure out how to do everything and the tips really worked but what sucked was I hit save named the project and everything. It shows up on the Home Screen with a time so it shows that something was saved and how long it lasts but when I open it, it’s empty and there’s no file. ✓ Not freeApp lets you do a few things. Then requires payment. Some may be looking for a payed service, I am not. Nothing against the app looks pretty good. Honestly the best simple audio editor I’ve found for my iPod/phone is iMovie lol. ✓ This app is populating all of these folders on my phoneIt is causing my phone to act like it has a virus. It has 100s of folders with frg and lfrg files some empty. You delete them but they repopulate before your very eyes. I deleted from the source on my iphone and deleted the app. I will redownload app to see if this behaviour continues or not. New problem. None of the exported wav or flac files are accepted by my distribution company. They said you are adding info to the files that are not acceptable. I have to now import all my song changes into garageband app then export song from there in order for my distribution company to accept. What are you doing to the files all of a sudden? I see isrc and cover pictures to be added. I don’t add it but still you are doing something different to the exports making them useless for me..Version: 2.7.21
✓ Good app but…Good app, some may say great even! But for some reason after I bought a subscription there is this video game loading music that blares over any project I’m trying to work on. ✓ Very limited.The “Recording studio” has a 1/4 second lag making it impossible to keep time when remixing or just trying to make a beat - Feel fortunate to have discovered that on the free version. Often bombarded with ads each time you select an effect, which stops the effect from working, even though the effect in question doesn’t initially state that it requires the pro upgrade. ✓ Decent But Needs ImprovementI think this app is definitely a decent app for sound. I have been using it for a while now as well as other people I know and we all have found it to be helpful but still not always the most user friendly. The two biggest issues I have found are that you can only have 8 tracks per project and you can’t change the order of the tracks in a project. This has led it to be much more difficult to do a sound project. Another thing is that when you highlight part of a track I hate how you cannot get that highlight to be that small. If you could highlight smaller portions of a track it would be much easier to be more precise when editing the track. I think if you improve these things this app would be hands down a 5 star app. If there is anyway you could fix this or something i don’t know that would resolve these problems please let me know. ✓ Not user friendlyNot able to open a new page or a new file even if the previous file is saved. If there are two or more tracks, things become more complicated. While selecting a particular portion in any of the tracks it always gets slipped to the tracks next to it. Unnecessarily wasting time. Even after writing a review it takes so much of time to submit, whatever “nicknames” we give for submitting the review they will keep on replying “this nickname is already taken please try another “..Version: 2.6.6
✓ It doesn't work for mp3 filesI have been starting to turn my old LP records into mp3 files and was hoping to use this app to edit them on the go. I have the files saved locally to my iPad, but the app won't recognize it as an audio file, even though the VLC app will play it no problem. This app opens the file and then tells me there's no audio data in the file. I tried moving the file to different folder locations including iCloud, but it still won't work. Guess I'm back to using Audacity on the PC..Version: 2.6.8
✓ Disappointed.I have to say, I’m quite disappointed with this new update. The bass boost used to be free, but it’s now a paid feature. That’s outrageous. ✓ Badly buggyI really like the app, in fact I think it’s hands down the best phone app for quick and easy music editing. But when it comes to bugs it’s absolutely the worst. I just paid for pro and the app won’t save any of my edits of my music. I just lost so much progress because the app won’t let me save. Even when I save and double check that I made sure, I press on my music again and it resets to it’s original unedited format every time. It’s honestly so stressful to lose progress because the app simply won’t save my work. I hope the app makers see this and fix it soon….
