✓ False AdvertisingI saw this cool ad that you could “cartoonize” a specific part of the picture I selected, the add had amazing graphic, it drew my attention so I downloaded the app. After I had to make a purchase to use the app, which i guess they have a 7 day free trial so I thought it would be okay because I had access to all their features. I was upset it did not let me just use it before getting the 7 day free trial. Once I got to the app it disappointed me, horrible effects, and the one thing that drew me to use the app I was not able to use it. I verified all the features and it was not available. I am sorry but if you are advertising an app and want an in app purchase at least include the item you are actually advertising. Super dissatisfied and disappointed. Waste of my time..Version: 1.5.0

✓ Literal garbageI’ve never deleted an app faster in my life, I saw this app on tik tok from it saying “turn your photos into a gta San Andreas charter” so I decided to try it out, so I downloaded it and already when you first open the app you have to be extremely careful where you click because if you accidentally click on “upgrade to premium” then your stuck on a screen that says “continue” or “7 day free trial” and there’s no way of getting out of this unless you restart the app there’s no x in the corner, not even an x that pops up after sitting on that screen for a while, this all happens so fast that “tap here to confirm purchase” or “face scan” already pops up just from a few miss clicks, luckily I have no money on my account but I can only imagine someone accidentally purchasing premium because of a couple miss clicks, so I reset the app and I was finally able to try to get started on something, so it says access photos I’ve downloaded tons of apps like this so this was nothing new but before I could click on a photo I was immediately stopped by an ad on my screen, they really had to put an ad where your going to most likely be touching the screen as if they want you to accidentally click on on the ad, so at that point they tried to steal my money back to back times within less then 30 seconds so that was already enough for me, I deleted the app and looked at some previews of the app and you can’t do what the tik tok add was advertising it for.Version: 1.5.5

What makes this all a problem is that you must pay a monthly subscription which you must agree to before being allowed to explore the app. Luckily it gives you a weeks free trial where you can easily cancel your subscription without paying anything, but nonetheless the app’s developers are liars and this app should be removed from the App Store. All this app really is is an unimpressive generic photo editing app. You can find much better photo editing apps for free..Version: 1.3.1

✓ Don’t download this app!!!I found this app in an advert that showed turning photos into anime Characters. I thought it would be fun to see how I looked as an anime, so I downloaded the app. As soon as I got on to it, it asked me to continue with a subscription and there was no cross or any option not to. I pressed continue and explored the app. There was nothing about turning pictures into anime. The app was poorly presented and it was rather boring because all you could do was add stickers borders or text. I decided to delete the app but it seemed that I was still paying £7.45 per month for it. I googled how to cancel a subscription if you don’t have the app any longer. I found out a way to cancel a subscription so if the same problem happens to you, just do this: Go on the update option at the bottom of the AppStore page. Then click onto the person in the top right. After that, press on Phonty and the it should come up with the option to cancel the subscription. I hope this helped!.Version: 1.2.2

Opened the app and I was required to start a free 7 day trial in order to access the “watermark free feature” of the app (there was no way around this without accepting). I didn’t see this as a problem as it said I can cancel at any time in settings. So I decide to do that immediately. Unfortunately the app doesn’t give you a settings page. Only a terms and conditions list. Only after reading to the very bottom of this 12 page T&C was there the instructions on how to delete it and cancel the subscription. To summarise you need to go to the App Store, go to the updates tab, tap on your profile icon, and then select manage subscriptions.
