✓ WHAT A PEACE OF S.The TOR browser has got to be the biggest joke ever. It’s not even just slow for me, it rarely takes me anywhere, even if I change identities. Sometimes it works for a few seconds if I restart the app, then back to square 1. This thing is user unfriendly too. No way to know how to bookmark a site and when you press the back button there is no history of anything so you have to type search terms again which really pixxed me off. I have been a regular user of TOR for the desktop for many years and rarely had this problem. Waste of time. Will uninstall..Version: 2.1

So because I don’t pay, or try the free trial, I can rarely ever make an established secure connection before timing out. I think out of the 10-15 times I’ve tried before giving up on the app, I’ve made a connection one time. ✓ Not sure what it takes to turn the damn thing on…I’ve had to change VPNs and use a different TOR + VPN combo because this one never connects. Ever. Like forever NEVER, not even once for a second or two. Zip. Zilch. Nada. Do not pass go, literally. I’ve attempted to access settings, no dice: please upgrade. For settings access… settings… seriously? I’ve attempted to connect to the network dozens of times, no dice, and I’m a patient man, I’m reliably told: I’ve waited up to 4 mins, tapping the button occasionally and still, zip for connectivity through this app. As far as I can tell, it’s just taking up memory space—not even sure that it’s not spyware itself, for all I know (although multiple scan by various engines has reliably returned a determination of non-dangerous). For at least west coast North America, and I’ve tried it in multiple locations on several networks of different kinds, the app doesn’t actually have the ability to connect to anything except it own UI and adverts to upgrade to superior nothing… Don’t waste your time. No monthly or yearly subscription options were presented, even though it’s discussed in the info section (with no prices listed). ✓ Useless Not worth any starsDon’t waste your hard earned cash on this Tor and VPN. When the VPN is on the TOR often fails to connect. Keeps stating ‘rendering for connection’. Equally on the odd occasion the TOR connects, the VPN doesn’t and on the rare occasions that they both connect at the same time it takes for ever for the site you have requested to down load. After sales service is terrible. Sent two emails pointing up the faults, had one reply stating it takes 10 to 12 hrs for emails to be seen and that I would get free lifetime membership if it continued. Well thats worthless isn’t it if the damm thing doesn’t work properly! Mind you 1 week later still haven’t heard anything and it’s still not working properly. ✓ Shady…Downloaded the app and it worked ok but very slow, not to mention that there is data collected about user content and diagnostics. I decided to upgrade and went for the option with the free trial and it said I would be able to access the auto renew to turn off in the settings, and when I checked the settings in the app and in the device settings, there was no option to cancel any subscription. I tried to contact customer service and received error message saying to first set up an email in device settings in which there was no options. IT MAY BE A SCAM. I have only recently downloaded this app, but I have been unable to access the internet without having to wait for a time longer than I would have preferred (I don’t mind if it isn’t fast, but I do not quite like how slow it loads)... It might be because of my own internet however, which is possible. Has anyone else had this problem with slow internet? In addition, I keep being told that I don’t have the TOR browser, and I’m not sure what it means by that. When I go to the link it shows me to download it, it doesn’t load or it brings me to a page that doesn’t have any items to actually download... I have both the TOR VPN + Browser app and the TOR Browser app. Not particularly certain what I can do about this other than further research and possibly collaborating with others. ✓ Reviews MUST be fake. Terrible appI downloaded this app 2x in the attempt to enter websites untracked. However, whenever I tried to enter a site not only was it SLOOOOOW but in the end it would never open up any site becuase all sites blocks Tor (or all apps with private viewing I don’t know) in short it’s useless so of course I wouldn’t upgrade. It either never opens the site, their captcha verification just goes in fieles to no end or the site tells you it will not allow you to enter from the browser you’re attempting to use (such as large platforms like Yelp) If I could enter all websites I would have gotten the membership however if it hasn’t worked once I’m definitely not going to use the app much less pay for something useless. I guess that’s why no one really talks about Tor anymore. Great concept no follow thru. Furthermore if you look at the bad reviews we are all in the same boat so it’s not something random that’s my issue solely..Version: 6.0
