Sonos and Apple Watch...Get this appI rarely am overalls impressed with the promise of an app, especially a watch app. This one is great. If you have a Sonos system and an Apple Watch and want to adjust the sound on your system just pay $2.00 and you will not be disappointed at all!!.Version: 1.2

Exactly what I was looking forThis app is great. I can add a complication to my watch, or otherwise open the app like normal. I can select between my speakers and groups, create groups, edit groups. I just like how easily I can skip songs and adjust the volume. Sometimes it’s not very easy to make incremental volume changes on the Sonos devices themselves or through voice assistants. But this app makes it so nice. You just twist the crown and it feels like very fine tuned control. When you re-open the app you go right back to where you left off, making it really easy to quickly skip songs or adjust volume while otherwise busy cooking/dealing with kids. If you’re looking to control your Sonos system from your watch, this is the app for you. Also, I appreciate that the app developer quickly responded to a question I had. They obviously still care and support their product. 👍🙌.Version: 2.0.1

J’adoreExcellent!.Version: 2.0.1

Thank you.I honestly can’t believe this app exist. It’s literally everything I could want in a Sonos watch app. The design is great. The UI is easy to navigate. And it works every single time. And when I saw the Apple Watch face integration I almost passed out. 5 stars hands down..Version: 1.2.3

Nice! Finally an app to control Sonos through my watch. I love it!.Version: 1.1

Better than expectedThis app exceeded my expectations. I was shocked how quickly it would open and connect. It’s faster than opening Sonos on my phone. I was also pleasantly surprised when I discovered I could use it to control all my speakers while at work too..Version: 1.2.3

Excellent addition to Apple WatchWorks perfect, love how it works with the watch, allowing me to work out and adjust volume or songs from my wrist without the need to have my phone handy. Well done!.Version: 1.2.3

Must have for Sonos usersI rarely buy apps, let alone leave reviews, but I felt that I needed to for this one! I recently purchased an Apple Watch and felt that what was missing was a way to control my Sonos system. I found this app and it connects seamlessly without any problems. It easy to use and gets the job down exactly as your expect. It’s also very satisfying turning the volume up with the crown!.Version: 1.2.3

Love LydI just love it. Control my Sonos with my Apple Watch it’s kindness like a futuristic dream.Version: 1.1

Great. Love the complication on the watch. I also have it on the Mac.It does the basics but it’s a shame I can’t have it as a complication on the watch face..Version: 1.1

FantasticThis app is great. Works well on the Apple Watch and works consistently. As expected, issues arise when Sonos updates its software but the developer is pretty quick to update the app. Some folks downvoting need to realize that these app developers don’t necessarily get the official software as a pre-release. It’s only natural for certain things to not work, but the developer is quick to implement changes to make sure it’s back and working again. That’s all you can ask for..Version: 1.2.3

Works great. When it works. Which is most of the time. This works great. Being able to adjust volume and speaker groups from my wrist is awesome. And it works about 90% of the time. When it doesn’t work, I don’t know why. So I have to kill the app on my watch, resync from the Lyd app on my iPhone. And then it works again. Just wish I could figure out why it doesn’t work sometimes..Version: 2.0.1

Not working since new OS (updated review)This app was great but since new watch OS and iOS the controls (volume, track skip etc) don’t work. The current track playing still shows but nothing can be done to control it... Please fix soon as this was great for controlling Sonos when I don’t have my phone near me. iPhone 11 Pro + Apple Watch 4, both running most current OS. Update - thanks for the prompt response and fix. Back to working perfectly again!.Version: 1.2.3

MUST HAVE for Sonos users!!This app is a MUST HAVE for any Sonos user that has an Apple Watch. I have no idea why Sonos doesn’t have support on the Apple Watch; but this app gets the job done! With their recent updates, it is much more user friendly and much less “buggy”. Spend the small amount of money on this app and you WON’T be disappointed!!.Version: 2.4.2

Works perfect so farLove this app so far. Just installed it (super easy) and worked like a charm right away. You can add the app as a complication on the watch face so always easy to access and makes it even easier to listen to more music which is really what Sonos is all about. Is my new favourite Apple Watch feature..Version: 1.1

I’m so impressed!!Thank you Alexander!! From download to use took me about 5 minutes. Volume control is the thing I most needed, and when you need it, you need it now! I haven’t experimented yet with any other functions, but just having the volume control was worth the small price I paid for the app. Also - LOVE the mute option too!! Couldn’t be happier!.Version: 2.2

Perfect 🎉I just installed LYD App and this really makes life easier around the house controlling tunes. Thank you..Version: 2.2

Good app, butThis is the app I have been waiting/wishing Sonos had produced years ago. The app is near perfect, but I would like the developer to add functionality to activate/deactivate speech enhancement and night mode for TV users. I’ve emailed the developer about this so 🤞 it will be added in soon..Version: 1.2.1

Nice appNice app. Works well except the 4 Complications in the center don't work on the infograph watch face but do work on the outside..Version: 1.2

Works perfectlyRarely do third party controllers work and even then watch apps are even more iffy. But this app bucks both those trends delivering an elegantly designed and reliable experience controlling my home sonos system right from my wrist! Kudos to the team who built and continues to maintain this app. Well worth the low cost of entry. 5 stars..Version: 2.4.2

I never like buying apps but...I normally find 3rd party apps fall a little short of what I want, Lyd however doesn’t disappoint. Everything I want to control my Sonos system on my watch, simple but effective and at less than £2 a no brainier. Thank you!.Version: 1.2.3

How do I add new household/rooms?App works great but I can’t add new household or additional rooms once it’s set up. Can someone please respond and explain how this is done? Update: customer support reached out and explained how to do this - you just disconnect it and reconnect it the households will load automatically. Thank you!.Version: 1.2.3

Brilliant !!!Love this app, thank you!!.Version: 2.4.2

Sonos app that actually worksWhoever programmed this is a genius. Can switch from legacy system to new S2 version easily. Responds immediately. Get a job at Sonos cos they can’t figure out what to do with their app. Between them and Spotify it’s a joke. I now use this watch app to get reliable working connections in the home. Well done..Version: 2.0

Great appApp actually works very well on my Apple Watch and follows all my instructions. I can easily change the volume between rooms and it is much more convenient as you have it on your wrist and the app is always with you. I like how you can even change between songs and switch to mute by pressing the button. Overall great app and definitely worth it..Version: 1.2.3

Brilliant appGiven the lack of control between Apple, Sonos, BBC,Alexa and Google this app is a godsend. Works really well. Well worth the price..Version: 2.4.2

App works great. As i was hoping app works great on apple watch Ultra. Wish it had more features but this is perfect. I can control all my indoor and outdoor sonos equipment without carrying my phone. Wish there was a better playlist selection or way to choose stations Still for what it does its a great app. It also integrates controls on your clock Face (complications)..Version: 2.4.4

Brilliant app!Have been looking for this for a while. Sonobit was getting old. Volume control from the crown, not buttons. Switch within Sonos favourites from the watch. Dead simple install. And contrary to another review, it does NOT ask for your IP address: login is via your existing Sonos app..Version: 1.1

Excellent! This app works great. Definitely deserves more than the current 3.8 rating. It has been completely reliable and very convenient. The only feature missing is search. However, for the low price, I’m not complaining. I will take quality over a missing feature any day..Version: 1.2.3

So far so goodJust set it up, have it in my watch dock, awesome.Version: 1.0

Bloody hell it works!!Good stuff..Version: 2.0.1

Worth the fee. Seriously goodDoes exactly what it supposed to do, closest thing you can have to an actual remote control. Works perfectly on my full S1 system. Apple Watch Ultra..Version: 2.4.4

So very usefulMy wife and I use this several times a day. It’s so well thought out and allows me to do all the things I’d like to do with Sonos from my wrist, change volume, group/ungroup, switch radio stations. I’d buy it twice!.Version: 2.2

Not perfect, but as good as it getsThis app does everything that I need it to: Starts/stops music, controls volume, allows me to group/un-group rooms, and change sources. I don’t have Sonos speakers, I have Sonos Connect:Amps (6), an Amp, and a Port. At times it’s slow to connect to the system, but that could be the distance my watch is from the phone or the fact that I have a series 3 watch. Nicely done!.Version: 1.2.3

Love this app!Like others if you own Sonos product and an Iwatch, it is definitely a must. Money well spent! Kudos developpers!.Version: 2.4.2

An excellent appWhile I had problems installing the app to the watch at first, a quick reboot of both my phone and watch fixed that problem. Once it was installed I quickly discovered it does everything I hoped it would - and more. The force press to group/ungroup is neat, as is near instant access to my Sonos favorites. A great app, well worth the purchase price and its place on my homescreen..Version: 1.1

New userExcellent app, easy to connect and works well will my system..Version: 1.2.2

I’m impressed.Works so well. I’m impressed. Controlling my Sonos system from my watch is so convenient. Helps make me less iPhone centric, especially when we have visitors..Version: 1.2.3

Best Sonos watch appIf you got a Sonos system and an Apple Watch, you 100% need this..Version: 2.2

Nest app for watchThis is the best Sonos controller for my watch, I can even control without Wi-Fi which is great and works perfectly I also can change group and send audio note to my speaker with my watch. I love it..Version: 2.1.1

App great for controlling Sonos speakersUse this app all the time. I have a Sonos beam hooked to my TV but my TV does not support arc so I can not use the apple remote software to change the volume (kids are always loosing the remote too!) I can use this app to change the volume from my watch. Also it’s great for parties when you do not want to be whipping out your phone just to skip, pause or lower the volume. Love it!.Version: 2.1.1

Simply excellentReliable, good user interface, picks up on things like My Sonos favourites, this made me love my Apple Watch even more..Version: 1.2.3

Just what I was looking forI have only just found this....so may need to update my review in time....but so far, I am very pleased with this app. I got tired of waiting for Sonos to come out with an Apple watch app. I put this complication on a watch face that I had used for music listening....with Now Playing as my main complication. This was currently available only for a smaller complication at the bottom of the watch screen. I can now choose/change my speakers in my current group with only a hard press of the screen, as I walk from room to room, I can change speakers on the fly, without my phone. I can also change my music, but seemingly only to playlists or music that I have added to “My Sonos”. So far, it works as expected, which is good. It would be nice, if it was available for the full complication, so it could show the “now playing” info on the watch face, so that I wouldn’t need to use both complications (Lyd and Now Playing). (Don’t really need both). Glad I decided to try this. (at least so far).Version: 1.2.3

Exactly what i neededGreat app!.Version: 1.2.3

Very nice little appThis app replaces what Sonos is apparently not interested in providing, the ability to control your Sonos system from your Apple Watch. It works like a charm and feels completely reasonable for the price. Thanks so much for taking the time to write this handy little hack!.Version: 2.0.1

Can’t live without it.I brought this app after seeing a recommendation online. I didn’t expect too much from it. But it really made controlling the Sonos speakers a breeze. I don’t even have to use the phone app and I can control the volume from my wrist. No need to get off my couch to hunt for the lost tv remote cause I’m using the beam and I can control the sound from my watch. If I want to hear some music on Sonos radio all I have to do is tap a couple of times on the watch and I can listen to different contents. Thank you developer for making me lazier and my life more convenient.😂 A big thumbs up and worth every penny of the price. And big kudos for not going with the subscription model. 👍.Version: 2.0.1

Works as describedWorks as described.Version: 2.0.1

Finally Sonos control on Apple WatchWorks great with as much functionality as you could expect on a Watch App..Version: 1.2.3

Works great with my Sonos playbaseAll good, I’ve been looking for an app like this and it works well.Version: 1.2

So good: SONOS should buy this. This is one of those apps that are so uncommon: they address a real need, they work well, and they’re well priced. This solves the potentially frustrating problem of being able to control all your music on your Apple Watch, except Sonos. The Watch “Now playing” feature works to some extent, but usually loses track of what you are playing, where. This app is rock solid and does exactly what it says it will do: control Sonos, every time. Sonos should buy this app and brand it as their own. Nice!.Version: 2.0.1

AmazingWhy this isn’t a native Sonos app I don’t know. It works great and is so convenient making quick changes from your watch. I originally had issues after install and the developer bent over backwards contacting Sonos and getting the issue resolved (an issue that turned out to be a Sonos problem). If you’ve got an Apple Watch, get Lyd!.Version: 1.1

Works perfect. This app is perfect for controlling your sonos from your Apple Watch and works perfect on my series 5. Well done to the developers on creating an app that works perfectly. For less than £2 this is the app you need to buy if you want to control your Sonos from your wrist..Version: 1.2.3

Neat and EffectiveI’ve tried several alternatives to the basic Sonos app but Lyd beats the lot for its simple effectiveness. The latest version makes the Watch app quick to recognise the playing environment and to apply changes rapidly and conveniently. Control of rooms and groups is easier here than on any other app involving Sonos kit and, whilst I might not have tried all the controls it offers (remote messaging, for example), the core functions are spot on and intuitive in use. Thoroughly recommended for anyone owning a Watch and Sonos kit....Version: 2.1.1

So far so goodSimple but effective, wanted to be able to control from my watch and so far it’s done exactly that!.Version: 2.0.1

Does what you want on Apple WatchThis is what Sonos should’ve provided. Add the complication to your watch face and volume and skip on Sonos is a tap away. The only problems are a wonky setup to get it connected to Sonos initially and occasional loss of that connection that requires logging in again on iPhone and an unavoidable lag, probably due to Sonos’ API. (Is that REST, I wonder?) Still, it’s a blast to control Sonos rooms from Apple Watch. Recommend creating a Sonos playlist just for Lyd..Version: 1.2.3

Love it!Downloaded, connected and worked effortlessly. In my experience that is almost a first for anything Sonos. I was an early adopter, fan and heavily invested in Sonos speakers for my house, but they have worn me down over the years with technical issues and clumsy software. Emblematic is that the company itself hasn’t even put out an Apple Watch app yet. My kudos to the developer of Lyn..Version: 2.2

One of the best apps I’ve ever downloaded!I can’t believe Sonos doesn’t have its own iWatch App but I’m glad someone else was smart enough to make one. This App should charge way more than it does. Download it now before they do. Shame on you Sonos for needing an app to fix the glitches in your system. It’s pathetic..Version: 2.2

Still a great app for Sonos controlI’ve had this app since it came out. I wouldn’t be without it. The writer deserves to be paid for the continual support for the app, so I’ve given a one off fee and subscribed for the yearly contribution. It’s well worth it. I’d rather pay a little than have nothing at all. I’d recommend if you like this app you do the same..Version: 2.4.4

Fast & responsiveI rarely leave reviews but after the last Sonos update that also ‘broke’ Lyd I realised how much I use the watch app to control my Sonos system. The developer was communicative and apologetic whilst he fixed the volume issue. Couldn’t have done much more really. I find controlling a whole house full of Sonos a little cumbersome but really have no idea how it could be made easier. It works brilliantly overall. Being able to alter any grouping and change the individual speaker volume within a group from my wrist. Five stars..Version: 1.2.3

It’s really goodThis app is well designed, easy to use, and does what it is supposed to do. Really handy if you have Sonos and an Apple Watch..Version: 2.0.1

SONOS should buy this appI’ve looked for an app that would allow me to control Sonos from my watch and Lyd is perfect. You will see people asking that the app remember your last room (and it’s coming in March, apparently) and I agree with this suggestion but - in every other respect - I never expected so much functionality on my wrist. Thank you!.Version: 2.0.1

Amazing App!This Sonos watch app has revolutionized my life! I use to search for my phone all over the house to change the volume or song, but then I’d think to myself “Hey you can change all that from your watch”! You won’t be disappointed with this app. I haven’t found one flaw..Version: 2.3

Better than Sonos appThe watch interface is awesome! Always works and is really fast. So great to have instant control of my Sonia system always available on my wrist. I have continually struggled with the Sonos brand app interface. Loses speaker connectivity all of the time, is slow, and Alexa voice integration only works half the time. The Lyd interface works every time. And it has the ability to discover multiple Sonos households, which helped me debug why my Sonos speakers were missing from the Sonos brand app. Thank you! Well worth the tiny price!.Version: 2.0.1

Great appLet's me control my sonos system from my apple watch and works really well! Great updates too. Keep up the great work....Version: 2.4.1

Very Happy with AppIt works, and works well, all for $.99. The Watch integration is well done: the fact that a user can control their Sonos system as an ever-present Watch “Complication“ is handy, and far superior to having to reach for your iPhone every time you want to mute your audio or select different rooms or volumes. The app directions are clear: just remember to open the app on your iPhone prior do your first use to complete the set up and syncing with your Sonos system before you attempt to use it on the Watch. I also appreciate that on the information page the developer includes complete contact information. Many Sonos systems users have commented that it is puzzling why the standard Sonos app does not include watch integration. Go figure. In the meantime this does the trick nicely..Version: 1.1

Broken for a while - now back being greatThis is a great little app. A few weeks ago, following a Sonos update, it stopped working but today’s Sonos update (Sonos S1) seems to have fixed the problem. I updated everything, uninstalled and reinstalled Lyd on my Apple Watch and, hey presto, everything works again. Highly recommended..Version: 1.2.3

The Best Sonos appBetter than the actual S2 app from Sonos Simple, quick and uncluttered design that just works perfectly I love this perfect little and the way it improves the interaction with with my sound system I can’t recommend it enough if you have a Sonos system and an Apple Watch you need this.Version: 2.4.2

Completely Needed thisNo more yelling downstairs to family to turn up the music or search for phone or iPad. If you ha e an Apple Watch and don’t have this loaded for your Sonos experience - you do t know what your missing. Don’t think about it - download it..Version: 2.1.1

Fills the gap for Apple Watch control in SonosWas in the pool and forgot my phone inside and looked to see if Sonos had an Apple Watch app. Did my research and heard great things about lyd. Surpassed my expectations. Great app and thank you for making convenience of listening to music in the pool convenient!!.Version: 1.2.3

Too goodI was looking for a quick way to change the volume level on my Sonos system while playing music and was happy to find this app. What I didn’t think about was the access to my Sonos home theater system from my wrist....bonus. If you have a multi-room system this is the app for you.Version: 1.2.3

Solved my remote control of SONOSGreat app. Prior to this app I was going around with IFTTT creating many complications to remote control my mother house!! She is an old lady who enjoys music but have no idea how to group rooms, select music, create play list etc. Word of Advise. Make it happens to the iPhone. Why only Apple Watch..Version: 1.2

Perfect for controlling SonosI use this multiple times a day. It’s very well thought out. Great for turning the radio on and off when I go into the kitchen, tweaking the volume, etc. Be sure to use the tip function in the phone app as I’m sure you will find it’s worth more than what’s being charged, for the utility it provides!.Version: 2.4.2

5 StarsAbsolutely easy to set up and works as it should - highly recommend this app!!.Version: 2.0.1

Works greatBest app I’ve found for controlling Sonos from watch. Works just how you’d expect. Only suggestion (but I assume there’s some OS limitation) is that it would be great to be able to start/change to music beyond only what I’ve marked in My Sonos..Version: 2.2

Excellent stuffWorks seamlessly and to be honest I can’t fault it. I have recently bought a Sonos Roam and it even does a great job at detecting that whenever it is powered on. Great stuff, you deserve for this app to do well.Version: 2.2

Works very wellUpdate: after my initial impressions below (which are only partially answered by the developer) I have updated to 5 stars. The app really does work very well indeed. A a one off price is also good. I’m afraid I haven’t used this yet. The 1 star is just out of a frustrating 30 minutes wasted try to work out the cost of in app purchases and what any of them mean. There are 3 IAPs with exactly the same description and different prices. I didn’t understand the two others either. So I checked the website. No help. So I decided to email using the contact email. Wrote email but the email address doesn’t work. Argh. So I took a leap of faith based on the good reviews. If I find I need more IAPs I will write this off and delete. If I’m being daft in some way I will revise my rating. Help please..Version: 2.4.2

Love itSimple, discrete way to change music / volume without digging phone out..Version: 1.2.3

Fantastic app - a pleasure to use !!This app was setup seamlessly with all features very well designed and working exceptionally well - would highly recommend this watch app as a great addition to the Sonos app on your phone ! What a great set of features Alexander now has with his latest Lyd 2.0 version update including simple access to playlists !! Keep up the excellent work, Alexander !!.Version: 2.0.1

2.0 update amazingJust updated to the 2.0 update and now this is my favorite Watch app! It is now super fast and responsive, allowing me to easily control my music and speaker volumes as a group and independently. The UI has always been well thought out and app functional, but this new update makes it so much more snappy. Well done! 👍.Version: 2.0

Major improvements in recent monthsI purchased this app years ago and I wanted to love it, but it was never reliable and slow. And for a while it wasn’t compatible with some OS releases. I gave up trying to use it mainly due to the sluggishness. After the version that came out with complications for the watch with performance and reliability improvements I gave it another go. I was blown away how fast it works and appreciated other UI improvements. This is now my go to controller for Sonos (aside from Alexa) since it runs very fast. I like dialing volume, and I find myself also using it to see what song is playing. I am using an iPhone 12 Pro Max and Apple Watch series 5. Feature request: It would be nice to have a quick way to get to recently played music. Thank you for the improvements!.Version: 2.1.1

Great app!I love this app it works great with Sonos..Version: 2.4.2

Thank YouI was so frustrated with other Apple Watch apps that supposedly control my extensive and expensive Sonos system on my Apple Watch 7 series. I was starting to dislike my Sonos system. Lyd just made me love my system again! Music is a huge part of my life. I listen to it all the time. I walk around my house’s three levels and two yards doing different things all day long while listening. I wanted control of my music on my wrist because I often want to pause, forward, rewind, change volume levels, start and stop music in different rooms. Trying to do this on my phone is just impractical, especially when my hands are full or I’m carrying something. Lyd made all that and then some possible. Best two bucks I’ve ever spent!.Version: 2.4.2

Update....Not what looking forUpdate: The app slowly appears to be more than I thought. It's not intuitive, but I am beginning to start up the Sonos and change the rooms it's playing. Now I just need to figure out how to change stations/playlist. Changed my rating from 1 to 4 stars. This app controls the Sonos only if most recently controlled by iPhone. I control my Sonos from my iPhone and my iPad. If I have it started on my iPad, I cannot do ANYTHING with this app unless I go get my phone. I was trying to remove that step from my life. Bummed..Version: 1.0

Brilliant value app!Like another reviewer said, I rarely pay for apps but I just got my Apple Watch and what’s £2 on top of that? I simply thought, I want to control my music on Sonos from my watch - googled it, this came up and in a jiffy my problem was solved. Quick and easy, would definitely recommend!.Version: 2.0.1

Thank you. Finally can control Sonos from Apple Watch..Version: 2.0.1

Fantastic!A really great app, I find that sometimes the volume dosent work. But, still a great app!.Version: 2.4.1

Better than Sonos iPhone app! This is exactly what I was looking for to control my Sonos speakers from my Apple Watch. It is super easy to use and it makes it very fast to manage my speakers from all the different rooms I have them set up in. If you want simple, easy controls for your Sonos system from your Apple Watch, this is the app you need..Version: 2.0

Very Good AppVery good. Works perfectly with my 10 speaker system and Beam..Version: 2.0.1

Works perfectSimple review. It works perfect and quick adjustments to volume from watch etc. about time something does as it says it does and this does just that..Version: 2.4.2

Works perfectlyReally easy to set up - works great. Definitely worth the money!.Version: 2.1.1

You need thisSo good for Apple Watch. I can change speakers, speaker groups, quicker than my phone. You can also groups, change music and now see Roam battery level. This is what Sonos should be doing but they’re too lazy..Version: 2.4.2

Does it all! Perfect app. This is exactly the app Sonos should have made, but never did. It gives a surprising amount of control for a watch app – we have a bunch of devices and it lets you manage groups, set volume at a system or per-speaker basis, even change music easily from your faves list! I’m impressed – and the privacy policy is also exactly what it should be, but so rarely is. Nice work, sir!.Version: 2.0.1

Love this app, but i wish i didn’t have to pick a room when i only have 1.I love this app and how seamlessly it works with my Sonos, but i wish I didn’t need to click the room I wanted when i only have 1 room. I would rather have it just load as a default. Until then I won’t be giving the app 5 stars. When i do click it though, everything works seamlessly!.Version: 2.0.1

Thought I was scammedAfter an update a while ago, the app didn’t work. I thought I was scammed. Decided to try it today. I was pleasantly surprised to see it worked. Sonos is always challenging after an update. Works better for adjusting the volume than “Now playing.” 👍 I love Sonos. I have the original play 5 and connect amp. Maybe since 2012. Discovered Sonos on Pandora. Anyway, I thought I had it set up right. I didn’t for the past year. I believe the play bar returned to factory settings on its own or because of an electrical surge. Everything is working right now and I’m happy about it..Version: 1.2.3

Simple and easy to useDoes exactly what t says! Connected seamlessly with my Sonos system. Keep up the good work!.Version: 1.2.3

Down the rabbit holeWell to be honest 20 seconds in and I’m effortlessly controlling my 5 rooms with the app on my I watch. Thank you, I hope it lasts 😬. Time Will Tell Big ears out.Version: 1.2.3

One of most useful apps on Apple WatchI find this app really handy - it controls the Sonos speakers quicker and without the lags that I’m struggling with through the Sonos app on my iPhone. I generally listen to BBC music radio on Sonos - if I want to know what song is playing then again the app is really handy, showing the name and artist on my watch. Thanks!.Version: 2.4.2

Brilliant and desperately needed!First of all, well done to the app developer for filling the gap Sonos has left us with! Why Sonos hasn’t done this before beggars belief and is the only criticism I have of Sonos as a company. However This is a great app and definitely needed. Highly recommended and sensibly priced too so thank you. It works as expected and is simple yet effective to use. Just how Watch apps should be.Version: 1.2

Great little app… very handy, very reliable!Fantastic app for controlling Sonos from the watch. I find the actual Sonos app can be buggy from time to time, however Lyd is so solid and reliable. Really handy to control Sonos on the go, including the volume via the watch bezel. Costs a couple of bucks, but well worth it.Version: 2.4.2

PerfectThis app is just perfect. One of the best apps I’ve bought for my iWatch5. Have it as a complication, and it just works amazingly well. Better then the Sonos app itself. Well designed, great functionality, stable and responsive. Top Top drawer. Well done to the app designers & developers 👏👍👌.Version: 1.2.3

ExcellentThis is much a better than I was expecting. Controls a 4 room Sonos system perfectly and quickly. Can load music from Sonos favourites. Join and disjoin rooms. Control group volume and individual rooms even when being part of a group..Version: 1.2.2

Great appThis app works really well on the Apple Watch - it’s so convenient to be able to control Sonos without taking the phone out of my pocket. Turning the volume up or down is just a couple of clicks then turning the dial. The app is fast, slick and well designed - thank you! I agree with a previous reviewer who asked that the watch should go straight to the last Sonos zone which was used, rather than the menu appearing each time the app is opened (even if briefly). With that it would be five stars for sure. I am surprised Sonos doesn’t have its own Watch app for controlling their devices. They shouldn’t bother designing one now, they should just licence Lyd….Version: 2.4.2

Superb!Within 30s I was using the crown on the watch to control the volume. If you have sonos and an Apple Watch. Just download this, it’s amazing! PLEASE make a widget for the phone too!.Version: 1.2.3

The app I’ve been looking forWith the gap in Apple Watch / Sonos functionality I was hoping something would plug it but I wasn’t anything so fully-featured. Lyd has everything I need, mainly volume and mute control with the crown but it even allows you to group Sonos speakers direct from the watch. It has a lovely interface showing which speakers are playing and even allows selecting different households. It looks good and thankfully it has a complication..Version: 1.1

Solid appDoes what it says, would love it if you could select the tv input source for the beam/playbar! Hopefully a future feature.Version: 1.0

Exactly what I wantedI’ve used this for at least 6 months. It’s awesome to be able to just tap my watch face to change volume on ANY of my Sonos speakers. No need to open app, fumble through “rooms”, etc. Simple and effective interface and good support as far as I can tell..Version: 1.2.3

Works wellI’m impressed. This is the only Sonos app I could find with grouping support. The app is quick, works well and does everything I want. I’ve no idea why Sonos doesn’t do this themselves but it’s good they have opened up their API for other developers 👍.Version: 1.1

Great Sonos app for Apple WatchThis is what Sonos should have had for their system. Was looking for the ability to control playback from my watch vs having to unlock my phone whenever I needed to make a change. So far this all works flawlessly and supports all the zones I have. Great app!.Version: 1.2.3

What a great app.I am so in control of everything on Sonos system right from the wrist of my hand. Could not have asked for more. Thank you Lyd. You did a wonderful job..Version: 2.0

Amazing update with watchOS 7I really liked Lyd before the update but it sometimes kinda stuttered, especially when you hadn’t used for a few days but this new update, where it’s become a watch app in its own right...woah! Hats off to the dev!! A fantastic, complete app that works really great if you’re an Apple Watch wearer and Sonos owner! Don’t even think twice if you’re looking at this..Version: 2.0

Great app!!I never give reviews of apps but I wanted to tell you how much I appreciate this one. Works great and I get a lot out of it. Just one complaint about the sorting of playback options. One thing is sorting alphabetically 20 is lower than 114 (Sirius channels) but that is not how the app behaves. Also, if you sort by streaming service, it doesn’t hold that sort when you revisit the app. But again, great job and keep it up and maybe you can sell it to sonos! But don’t! lol..Version: 2.0.1

So thankful for thisIt would be a big gap for me if I couldn’t control my Sonos Play:1 with my watch. Does the job very reliably! There are clear limits in what the Sonos API opens up to it, so you need to play from favorites - or you can add things to the Sonos queue and use it to control that..Version: 1.1

A must-buy for a Sonos userThere are a lot of apps that don’t seem natural on an Apple Watch. Lyd is NOT one of them. This app has become my go-to tool for managing the Sonos speakers in the house particularly when I’m doing construction or cleaning. The best feature is just being able to turn down the volume quickly when someone arrives that I need to talk to. Like any app that depends on other apps or systems to work, it can sometimes be slow to initially figure out what is playing where and give me the options to stop/start/change volume. I have 3 rooms setup and would really like it to check play status in the background, so when I open it, it’s got all of the current room data ready. Overall it’s always getting better, continues to be one of my favorite apps, and would benefit from knowing room play status immediately upon being opened..Version: 1.2.3

Great app to control Sonos from your watchThere are very few apps out there to control Sonos from you Apple Watch. I was surprised to find out this one has most of the functions you’d need to control your Sonos system. It doesn’t just allow you to skip songs and change the volume, but grouping speakers and changing playlists are also included. You can even send a recorded message from your watch to a speaker! The UI is clean and simple to use, you can customise some of the elements shown (i.e.: remove the artwork background on the song that it’s playing). The only thing I found annoying is that every time I raise my wrist to skip a song or set the volume I need to select the room first. Not sure why it cannot stay on the room I had selected before. Is there an update for this coming soon?.Version: 2.0.1

Simply incredibleVery few apps nowadays tend to impress me or are even worth a mention this is an exception. Great user face that actually works. Almost has too many features but they all work! Must have for a Sonos user..Version: 2.4.2

Nice, but missing one featureThis app does a nice job of controlling my Sonos speakers, but one thing I would like to see is the ability to rewind by 15 seconds or 30 seconds. Where I would find this useful is when I am listing to Podcasts through Pocketcasts. I find myself wanting to back up a bit to catch something I missed. Maybe this feature is there, but I’m missing it? Otherwise, nice app..Version: 1.2.3

Pretty much flawlessLyd works great, I have no complaints. I bought an Apple Watch and was disappointed to find that there was no official Sonos app. I expected this app to be a bit buggy and unreliable, as that had been my general experience with third party remote apps. But Lyd works great and is really reliable. It’s a remote, it works, that’s all I need from it... five stars..Version: 2.0.1

LydGreat app, love the voice message feature..Version: 2.4.2
