✓ Should be 5 stars except adds keep making it freeze 😕Really enjoy this game, except very often, when adds appear, it freezes, not allowing you to do anything. I have to turn iPad on and off at least once each session I play. Really Frustrating! I also agree with other reviews that mention how often you bump a square accidentally, you loose a life! I agree that fat fingers are not good with this game. I’d be willing to pay for the game to be free of adds. I just cannot find where and if I can do this. ✓ Excellent game, awful ads.I came to the review section to see if paying a whopping $5 would get rid of the insane amount of ads I end up having to watch after 3 misclicks, and my question has not yet been answered. But it seems everyone has the same gripe that I do, and the developer’s only response is that you can skip the ads after 5 seconds on the ads between levels. But that’s not the issue! It’s the ads we’re forced into watching every time we misclick or make a mistake and have to gain another life! I don’t mind sitting through an ad or two between levels but I’ve probably paid someone’s entire salary with the amount of ads I’ve had to watch to gain another life mid-level. And developer, please refrain from “reminding” me about the other game mode, I know it exists. I prefer the mode I’m in. There’s no excuse for the excessive and long ads, and it’s disheartening to see the same response on everyone’s review. I’d hope the high price point would remove ads entirely, I saw a review that made it not seem to be the case though. ✓ Recent updateThe recent update has ruined the game for me. I used to be able to play the event levels without internet and now I’m unable to. As the event levels are mainly why I enjoy this app, it’s absolutely ruined for me now. Also the auto filling has become more sudden and harsh than softly fading in and out which I hate. The ads are incredibly intrusive, and far to frequent, and also change the orientation which I am playing all the time, as I play horizontally on an iPad. The ad pops up in vertical mode, and then the game won’t go back to horizontal after the ad finishes, even though I do not have screen lock on. I wish I would just be able to go back to playing the event levels without internet like I used to so I can play this during my commute..Version: 5.0.1

✓ Auto crossesI have completed over 7000 levels and spent many hours doing so, I absolutely LOVE this game… however recently the auto crosses function has seemingly disappeared. Where after selecting all the eligible cells in a row/ column it would mark the ones around it that it can not be with “X’s.” I reached out via the help section and was met with a response that basically summed up that there was no possible way to turn this back on. Is this a bug? Or just the way that the game will play out now, because frankly I now find it completely unplayable. I really hope this is something that can be fixed or changed back to exactly the way it was before. Otherwise, as I mentioned before I could not say a single bad word about the game other than prior to paying to remove them I experienced an extremely high amount of advertisements. ✓ Deleted app after they removed auto crossesDumbest thing the developers did was to A. Give you the option in settings to use auto crosses and B. Break them from actually working. They claim that auto crosses shouldn’t be an option, but it’s still an option in the settings. Fed up with the change, and having to watch ads after 3 misses, so deleted the app. Would rate it 0 stars, if I could. The fact that the developers won’t listen to everyone complaining about this change, shows they don’t care if people download and play their app. If I have to have a 6 and 2 on a 15 square line, there’s no reason why after I complete the 6 boxes, the game can’t put a single X in the boxes on either end of that 6 like it used to do. It’s not cheating or creating an advantage in any way. Dumb, dumb, dumb! You can keep giving me the same response all you want. Won’t change my opinion of what I think of the change. If it’s now working the way it was originally developed, then why have I been playing it for A YEAR before it was changed???? ✓ The AdsOk first off, the actual puzzles are a nice little bit of fun. Not bashing that actual ‘gameplay’ itself. But holy Jesus Christ the devs do not understand how to utilise ads at all. There are so many actions that will cause an ad to show up. They even somehow messed up the ‘choice ad’. Ya know those moments in free games where you’ve lost all your lives and the game gives you the option to either restart or get extra lives. The idea behind this is that if you get extra lives you have to watch an ad as a sort of consequence/payment. However, if you don’t want to watch an ad then you can restart the level but you’ll lose all your progress. This is a really simple concept. But the devs instead decided to make both the ‘restart’ and ‘gain extra lives’ actions show you an ad. So basically there’s no point in restarting a level as you’ll have to watch an ad anyway, so everytime you run out of lives you might as well just get extra lives and watch an ad because no matter what you do YOU WILL HAVE TO WATCH AN AD. I’d love to put the rating higher but these decisions made by the devs cap it out at 3 stars..Version: 2.8.0
✓ Absolutely Addicted, however…Let me start by saying that I absolutely love this game. I am over level 3000 and would play it almost daily. I just can’t stop. Unfortunately with all good things come bad things. I’ve been having the problem of the game constantly crashing, and I mean CONSTANTLY. Sometimes if I’m lucky I can go through a few levels with no problems but then it goes down hill. It can get as bad as crashing multiple times in a single level. The game also heats up my phone as if it was on fire. You could cook eggs on the back of my phone while I play this. And with the overheating and constant crashing, it drains my battery. I’ve never seen my battery ever go down as fast as it has while I play this game. Even with those three pretty big problems, I still can’t stop playing it though. And the problems didn’t exist when I first started playing and I don’t think it’s my phone because my phone is rather new. I would give 5 stars but the problems that I stated are just so annoying and significant that I can’t give higher than 3 stars right now. ✓ YOU MAKE MISTAKES - YOU PAY!Yet another app that demands a review before you’ve had a chance to get a measure of it. Please I don’t even know you yet and you want my commitment?! My biggest problem is you get three ‘lives’ then you have to listen to a 30sec ad or restart. You lose a life if you touch the wrong tiny square or have the x switch on instead of the block after only 3 tries! I don’t like this sort of manipulation to ‘earn’ or buy more hints with my time when I was not using a hint just forgot what mode I was using and was not expecting to be penalised! If you have memory issues or an unsteady hand or want to relax and be happy to make mistakes then don’t bother with this as it will only bore and frustrate you. It’s only a 15x15 grid at hardest as far as I can see. The pictures are unsophisticated. Too many ads. I’d rather straight out pay for a game rather than pay for in app things I’m conned into. ✓ Fed up of the glitchesI’ve had this app a while and initially really enjoyed it. However recently I have found several faults. The game freezes part way through and often when I go out, clear and restart the progress is lost and I have to start it again. I will finish a game, watch the never-ending ads only to find the same game comes up again. This has happened multiple times. The sensitivity of switching between putting a cross or a block is poor so you think you’ve switched but it hasn’t - causing errors that mean you lose lives needlessly and have to watch even more ads. As a game has just repeated itself yet again, I’ve had enough and will be deleting..Version: 4.2.0
✓ Really good but…. A note to the developerThis is a fantastic game. However, the puzzles in seasonal events sometimes are so small that it is impossible to avoid clicking the wrong box by mistake. A slight move on your finger or not positioning your finger in the right way touches the other square. If it is correct, no harm done but if it is wrong, it messes up the whole game and it is no longer enjoyable. This is perhaps a bug - occasionally, when squares are marked correctly, the number is not greyed out. It is not a significant issue but it can be misleading and cause you to restart the level. Other than that - great game! If this is somehow corrected, I will change my review to 5 stars. For now, this is a big issue for me and potential reason to drop the game altogether..Version: 5.5.1
✓ Recent change?This was my favourite game ever, specifically due to the constant flow of events. I really enjoy the special ones where we get the moving pictures as the trophy. However when I have been playing recently I have noticed the game looks a little different (just subtle). I don’t like this new look and I don’t know why it would just randomly be updated when it was perfectly fine before. ✓ ADS are problematicDon’t get me wrong! This game is so fun and highly addictive. I don’t mind short ads either. Problem is, most of the time, ads just won’t load, leaving a black screen where it is impossible to do anything. The only solution is to hard close the app, making you loose all your progression, which is super frustrating, having to restart hard or expert levels again and again. On any of my other games, loading ads is never a problem. But on this game, I am close to deleting it, despite loving it so much. ✓ Un Mutable AdsI absolutely love this game. But I felt like I had to write this: I understand the need for ads and I stand them because of that. But, ads with sound? That’s a nono for me. Every time I finish a game I get this annoying ads from Solitaire Cube or similar which have a girl screaming for five whole seconds and, bare with me here, it’s IMPOSSIBLE TO MUTE. I’ve tried turning down the volume, putting the phone on silent mode, nothing works; these ads don’t even have the little speaker icon where you turn the sound off. So, every time I’m playing at night and this ad comes up, I wake up my husband; I no longer play in public places as not to disturb people around me with the screams; it’s even annoying when I’m listening to a voice note and playing and it literally pauses my voice note so that I can hear the ad girl screaming. Every single time the screaming starts, I automatically close the game and stop playing it for the rest of the day. I’m always “selecting” one or the other only to discover I have just switched by accident. It doesn’t work intuitively for me and I suspect I’m not the only one. Update: I’ve finally got used to the toggle switch but now the adverts have just become so annoying. They freeze constantly so I can’t progress without closing the app and restarting. ✓ Enjoyable, but a resource hogI quite like the game itself- they’re neat little logic puzzles that aren’t too hard but are stimulating enough for mobile play. Ads can be somewhat annoying but aren’t overboard and are par for the course on free mobile games. The really frustrating thing is that the app appears to hog resources unreasonably, causing my phone to lag to the point of a 5 second delay between tap and onscreen feedback. I tend to play mobile games like this while listening to a podcast and this is the only app I’ve had this issue with. Also, some ads will stop my podcast to play the ad’s audio (which is annoying but I can live with it), but play won’t automatically resume after the ad and due to the game using so many resources my phone slows to the point that I can’t just quickly switch apps to start the podcast again. ✓ Sexist. Non-inclusive.I love this game but quite frankly sick of the outdated mentality of how a woman, man and family are represented. Firstly, playing the Mother’s Day challenge, the only image of a woman so far, is of a woman on the edge of a couch leaning into her man who sits in the centre and does not need to lean into anyone. All puzzles for “Mother’s Day” relate to children only. I hope we see the same for Father’s Day and not “handymen” and “cars” and “fishing”. In this game, people are always depicted as non-POC. A person is always a white man first, and families are always dad, mum (whoa she should be lucky she was even included!), one boy and one girl. Stop incorrectly associating women with soft pastels, cooking and being only the bearer of children and second to men. And stop associating a person as only ever being a white man. This is 2020. ✓ Updated Review: Nasty design to trick you into watching adsI gave this game a chance and at first was frustrated by the “lives” system and how accidentally tapping a fraction of a millimeter from from the intended target or meant. Also the numbers at the top and side that tell you important clues are very hard to see because of their color and lack of contrast. Whoops that was actually a 7 not a 1 giving you a clue. Whoops accidentally brushed your finger on the wrong area of the screen. Well that’s two lives and good luck getting through a big puzzle without making another mistake. Then you can quit the game or watch an ad that often will freeze the app and discard your progress The designers have apparently realized it’s a universal thing that tapping precisely and seeing small things clearly on a phone is difficult and they found a way to make a lot of ad revenue money by punishing their users’ “mistakes” that are a result of design decisions. Other puzzle games like this have ads and actually reward you for watching them. I don’t recommend this game unless you have a high tolerance for frustration or love watching ads and don’t care that fun for the player was not a priority in its design.Version: 2.2.1
✓ Ate my battery, had to removeGot a brand new iphone a couple of weeks ago and really happy with the battery life; lasts about a day and a half between charges. When using OSMaps every day for a 10 mile walk over the last week, that dropped to about a day which I thought was okay a decent trade-off given the gps was on for three hours, as was the compass and the mobile internet (another app uploaded my location in real-time so people could track me). However, installed this app yesterday and my battery lasted precisely 12 hours and the battery app reports that it used 58% of my battery. My walking is far more important than this game so it has to go; must be a poorly written game, or it’s doing something in the background that I really don’t want it to be doing. This is not the first time I’ve encountered this problem with this app; installed it on my last iPhone several months ago and had the same problem, but I thought it was because my battery might be shot. Clearly it wasn’t. Oh, and an advert after every play is a real pain; they clearly don’t want you using the free version as it’s advertising overload. I use the free Microsoft Sudoku and you get several games between ads; a much better, unobtrusive and fairer solution to advertising on a free app. Very disappointed..Version: 3.1.0

✓ Needs a zoom functionPlaying 15x15 squares on the phone makes them far too small to accurately hit the correct square. I lose lives all the time because of hitting the square I didn’t intend to hit. Sometimes I’m an idiot who got it wrong, but it’s too often simply because the design is too small. ✓ Great game, but needs some improvementUpdate: I paid for the game so that I don’t have to wait for more lives, but recently there have been changes, and now there are long ads to get more lives. There are also super long ads between games. This is absolutely unacceptable. I paid for unlimited lives, without adds. I guess this is it for me with this game. It’s a shame, because I enjoyed it. I love the game concept, and it can be a bit addictive. I like the design of this app, it’s clean and easy to use. What frustrates me terribly is that you can’t choose to start an entirely new game. If I lose a life, I prefer to restart a new game, it just doesn’t feel challenging enough if I continue after making a mistake. In this app though, if you click to start a new game, it gives you the same game that you didn’t finish. If I already know the answers to a good bit of it, what’s the fun in that? It’s just a boring waste of time to repeat a game. I’d also love it if there was an option for a timer. I love speed challenges and knowing how long it took me to complete a puzzle would be great. ✓ Absolutely amazing game, however…This is by far my favourite game and I play this all of the time on my phone when at work & out ‘n about. It is great fun and definitely the best ‘nonogram’ type app out there. However… I feel like my time is slightly ruined by the constant ads which feels very draining sometimes. There are certain ads like the national lottery one where you can’t even close it and you’ve got to restart the app. (Phone and app are always updated) I would enjoy the game a lot more without as many ads in it, as it feels constant. The app is 50% ads and 50% gameplay. A lot of the time I’ll load up the app to play and I’m instantly hit by an ad so I just close it as I just can’t be bothered by another ad. ✓ Um okay?!I am a huge believer in games like these especially when I’ve got a lot of time to kill. However when it comes to this particular app it is lacking in some aspects. For example the puzzle is way to small. Even if you don’t have huge fingers it is so easy to get the wrong line filled. That problem could be easily fixed like making the puzzle bigger. Also the difficulty level is not what you think. The easy and medium levels are more like easy and really that only took me 5 seconds to finish it easy. Heck even the hard level (which usually takes me an entire episode of Hell’s Kitchen to finish) is so easy that a child can figure this out. But here lies my major problem and why I’m giving it 3 stars. Every time I go to start a new game it freezes. Even when I’m typing this I’m waiting it to get done (thank god for iPads). Then if you close out you have to start all over. So please developers could you please make the levels a little more challenging and fix the nasty freezing bug? ✓ Dysfunctional UI and ad after every levelThe UI has been designed to make this a micro game, but in doing so there is almost no difference between the level differences. Hard is too easy but the input method is archaic and not configurable, you can’t set it to auto cross and it will auto-correct you. I don’t want to know when I’m right or wrong, I want to do a puzzle for myself and correct myself at the end if I make mistakes, a misclick being interpreted as a mistake is plain silly. I can see this has been designed for a more casual market but the difficulty is too easy and having an ad after every level is just too annoying, will be deleting this and sticking to similar nonograms that are more intellectually stimulating which aren’t riddled with adverts..Version: 1.1.1
✓ Review gone? App bad anywaysI came to update my review for a second time but apparently it is gone? Guess they can remove reviews they don’t like. So, why do I rate low? Well, one star lost for removing my review. Another star lost because of the poor response they gave to my original review where I wanted them to make a way to play better. Tired of pushing one block and ending up hitting another. Forcing a life lost and eventually having to watch ads. Their response? To play the other game mode. They lost stars for the way it plays. I love the app minus the fact that issue happens. So, I tried the other mode. I guess it’s okay minus the yet still clicking the wrong box over and over again. Just no lost lives or forced ads since you’re not told you’re wrong. My solution? I found another app just before this recent update of theirs hit. They didn’t fix my issue so it lest even another star. Now it’s down to one. It would have zero if I could do that. The other app? Two Eyes. It has a directional pad so you can navigate with it instead. Voila! Never a misclick. And with this update on this app? The toggle of filling in the boxes or putting Xs... it was a feature already they just broke it and claim it is new. It was there when I started playing and got use to it so much that I wondered where it went. ✓ Recent UpdateI’ve been playing this game non-stop for the past year or so and have enjoyed it thoroughly, however now that you’ve taken away the numbered levels with randomised difficulties I feel as though I can only play a level or two without getting bored. I was up to level 3000 at least and was quite proud of that hoping to make it to level 10,000 but now there’s no sense of progress and I’ve lost interest. Before this I was obsessively completing event levels, daily levels, and event levels while also aiming for 50-100 regular levels a day but now there’s nothing to work towards to. It’s challenging enough to keep me occupied for a good period of time but on other days it freezes or doesn’t respond when tapping to place a cross or a black square. ✓ Smaller squares = unfair mistakesThe major flaw to this game is that the squares get a lot smaller on the hard level, resulting in inadvertent mistakes. I’ve had to watch many ads to get more lives after accidentally pressing the wrong square and not wanting to restart the game. Please consider adjusting the grid/squares in a future update. ✓ Too Frustrating!Having deleted the App previously I downloaded it again in the hope that some of the issues would have been sorted but No. It isn’t even the barrage of lengthy ads that I find the most annoying. The game its self I love but for whatever reason it is impossible to play for more than a few minutes at a time. This is due to the slowness. When pressing the squares to fill them in it takes ages for the app to register therefore there is a pause where the screen is completely inactive. It then catches up with itself only to repeat the same nonsense time and time again. If you are looking for a game to relax to this ain’t it!.Version: 4.3.1
✓ Puzzles are good, BUT...I have two major criticisms. Firstly if you come out of the app even for a second (e.g. to read a text, Nonogram will put you back to the home screen when you come back to it, which means navigating back to the puzzle and waiting for another advert to play. Secondly, at least two of the adverts will play on full volume even if your phone is on silent (which is just not ok!). Otherwise the games themselves are pretty addictive and a good time waster! Edit: the main advert that plays music even when the app / phone are silenced is for Blockudoku (blue advert), also Scrabble Go. They stop your phone’s music and it’s so irritating!.Version: 2.7.0
✓ Design ChangesI’ve really enjoyed this game for several years, but find the new design updates make it much harder to select fields and therefore make this less enjoyable to play. I play to calm my brain down, not become frustrated at the smaller field sizes. I have also found there to be a significant lag in the response times of the selections. I enjoyed trying to complete levels quickly. Now, it simply takes too long to enter. Please revert to the old layout and response times - it used to feel so snappy and satisfying; now it feels lagging and frustrating. Also, please make the select/ mark toggle buttons at the bottom larger and more separated. Currently, one can easily not press the button, even if they are close, or select the wrong one and/ or select the hint button when they weren’t aiming to do so. It is good you’ve decreased the size of the stars, as formerly those often would visually seem like they were markers, and it is good to have increased the numbers size and spacing, but the old grid sizing, layout, and UI was better..Version: 5.0.1

✓ Would be even better with improvementsGreat game overall, and it’s extremely addicting. My biggest issue I have is that it really takes a toll on my battery and the app by far consumes the most energy out of any app on my phone. I really hope in the next update that the app is better optimized to consume less energy. Additional feedback I have is that, given that there are no levels to progress in, I wish that I could get a new board on the same difficulty if I don’t like the board that is generated. Currently if I am in the middle of a game on Hard, for example, and I click new game, it gives the same board as I currently was playing, just cleared. There’s no way to go to the “next” board. Lastly, I wish I could see the final product after I won a game in black and white a little longer before it colorizes so I can “guess” what I just made/see the full picture. Other options that might be cool are to be able to toggle the color image on/off by holding down/releasing the screen to go back and forth between the black and white and color completed puzzle. Additionally it might be cool to have a gallery/collection of all my completed puzzles that you can access from the main menu to see all the different pictures you’ve made. ✓ Very good but the ads a constant and endlessThis is an excellent game and nicely executed. BUT the ads ruin the experience. In fact it almost criples the game. The ads are literally CONSTANT. While playing a fast paced session you will literally see countless ads. Ads play before you start playing a boards, after you finish, at random times and when you focus to the app the background. Additional ads can be triggered to gain various creadis, but what’s offered for watching an ad is too little imho. And all these ads brings two additional problems: First, the ads stop any audio you may be playing in the background, which is VERY annoying. It’s one thing to have to be subjected to so many add, but to have to constantly switch to your audio app to start the playback again is just ridiculous. What’s more, when you do this and you bring nonogram back into focus, it loads ANOTHER ad simply because you brought it back into focus, thus causing the sound to stop AGAIN or at least even more disruption. Second, the price for getting rid of the ads is just too expensive. Thus if you like nonograms and have no problem seeing thousands of ads and having your music or audiobooks interrupted constantly I suppose its good..Version: 4.4.0

✓ Great game but becomes unresponsive & freezesI’m so addicted to this game and used to love it. But in the last month or so I’ve noticed during every game, the screen becomes unresponsive and freezes, probably due to the ads playing at the bottom of the game screen. It’s not my device, as this is the only game it happens to. I understand the need for ads and don’t even mind watching them after I’ve completed a game but the game itself is becoming increasingly unplayable. ✓ Needs some interface improvements1. If you fill in a line correctly, the crosses should fill in automatically, especially if placing an incorrect cross counts as an error (which itself is weird; I use crosses to help count long lines). There’s already a sound and greyed out numbers, just do the crosses to save me a little effort. 2. There’s no indicator showing how many squares I’ve filled in while dragging. That’s ridiculous. I want to leave error mode on, but these deficiencies penalize me for slips of the finger or losing count while dragging, or using crosses to help solve hard lines with a visual aid, not because I’m guessing..Version: 1.1.4
✓ Okay, kinda lazy though.The gameplay is kind of ok but after a while of doing the same thing over and over it gets kind of boring. It gets to a point where the upgrade pretty much forces you to watch an ad. The models of the people have no animation, they are t-posing when they arrive and t-posing as they slide off of the screen. I know you guys want to make money and stuff but there’s better ways of doing it. You could come up with more things to do and maybe spend a little more time to make some type of animations. This has been a trend lately, too, now whatever game designer just wants to slap together whatever mobile game throw in a bunch of ads at every turn and repeat this cycle to make a bunch of low quality games. It would help to make a higher quality game too (of course) you can make one really good game that might get you more money than a bunch of small games, since people probably won’t get bored as fast. ✓ Ruined by adsAbout 2 years ago this used to probably be my most played game. I just recently got it again on my new phone and I continue to love it. However, there appears to be a lot more ads than when I used to play. There seems to be an ad after every 2 levels. I think you guys overestimate how long it takes some people to finish a level. With the time it takes for me to finish levels, I am essentially interacting with ads more than I am interacting with the actual game and it is become very frustrating after only having the game for one day. I honestly don’t know how much longer I can go on and I am already contemplating deleting the game. This is very sad because this is one of my favorite games of all time but it is just ruined by ads now. Maybe i bought no ads before, which if thats the case is there a way I can confirm that and get that feature back. ✓ Lots of inconvenient things within the app!I love these puzzles don’t get me wrong. But the ads are beyond annoying. Not that I have to watch them I understand a free app is gonna have ads but it’s insane the number required to watch and if you step away in the middle of a game or get a call during an ad it’s gonna wipe your board clean. Also constant mistaps on the game board no matter how careful you’re being it’s constantly acting like I’m filling squares in 1-3 tiles away from where I’m even trying to enter my answers. Which again makes me have to watch MORE ads. And a lot of the ads don’t work right so they sit on a blank screen which makes you have to watch more ads and usually the broke ad comes back multiple times in a row and mind you not finishing the ad wipes your board so when the broken ads come up it really takes the fun out of the game. Lastly and MOST annoying of all. The hints randomly get activated with out being selected and then you blow through them all without noticing. It’s a giant scam. ✓ Great game, just one or two irritations!I didnt think I would play this as much as I do. And love doing so. Definitely recommended if this is your sort of game. Dev team... one issue I have is that very occasionally, I cannot solve a specific puzzle. Unfortunately, you have it coded so that I cannot start a different puzzle at the same level without solving the one I cant solve! So Ive had to stop playing for weeks at times because I cannot bypass. Any chance of making it so that the offer of a new puzzle is available on these occasions? The other thing that would be great, is a magnify/zoom in option. I have an Ipad mini and the squares are really small on the harder levels. If I hit the wrong square by mistake and do not notice immediately, I have to start from scratch even if I was almost complete. Perhaps I should invest in a stylus! ✓ EditI was literally going to give up on this game and delete. The 15x15 difficulty is really tricky on an iPhone to not tap the wrong square by mistake and means that with very limited lives (mistakes you can make) you had to sit through tonnes of 30 second adverts just to get a through one puzzle. It was infuriating, tedious and completely ruined game play. But reading the reviews, the developers have mentioned that you can change the game mode to avoid this. So I am going to give that a try. I would suggest maybe that the 30 second adverts are before and after a puzzle and maybe 5 second ones mid game? This aside, the puzzles are great, the choice of difficulties are fun and the playability, although challenging on an iPhone with the smaller squares, is good. I will happily update my review when I have had a few goes with the different game mode. edit: The developers said adverts should be skipped after 5 seconds and asked me to send adverts that couldn’t be skipped. I sent that and this was their response “please note only adverts between levels can be skipped after 5 seconds, if you watch an advert for an additional life/hint it cannot be skipped”. ✓ You know whatJust like the title says “ you know what” there are a couple problems i have with this here game. Well firstly the hints. I earned 24 hint doing a special level but then when i got on the game today there were only 18. Its outraging because i was saving them for a super hard level. Secondly the levels. ✓ Ruined by advertisingI used to love playing this game, so relaxing! I accepted the ads because I understand everyone has to earn a living. But the advertising policy has changed and if you play the hard level, you spend more time watching ads than you get to play. ✓ Addictive, too small, and bots?Update Mar 2023. Tournament mode is bugged or has a bot allowing an impossible rate of play for other ‘players’. Avoid. Dropped to 1* Update Feb 2023 still no changes to the small toggle button despite a copy and paste developer response. Now the game seems to include bots during the competitions to make it impossible to achieve anything. Ie you’d have to play it constantly to even think about competing. Dropped to 2* Update Nov 2022 toggle button still too small. Grid for the Hard and Expert levels are still too small. Update Feb 2021 Appreciate the developer response, but seeing as the same issues I stated a year ago still exist I’m not confident it’s high up on your to do list. Thanks though! Update Jan 2021 Revisited this game after months not opening it and it’s back to being addictive. However, it’s a shame to see the devs haven’t addressed issues with 15x15 grid being too small and regularly hitting wrong squares, and the switch between block and cross is too prone to mistakes. ✓ I’ve wasted months of my life watching ads on this appI am painfully addicted to this game. But the three lives system is the most flawed, nonsensical thing ever. Once you play the game enough, any level below expert gets boring. And on the expert levels, the squares are microscopically small and you will constantly be fat fingering the wrong squares. 3 times and you have to watch an ad as long as a feature-length film (exaggeration but they’re way too long). It’s so so so unreasonable. I run out of lives like 7 times trying to finish one level, not because Im getting it wrong but simply because it is near impossible to always press the right square with perfect precision every time. I waste so much time watching these stupid ads. You can play the arcade version of course but then you’ll accidentally fat finger the wrong square and not even realize it, and never be able to finish the level. ✓ Keeps freezingEDIT: After receiving a generic response by the developer, I tried to contact support via the app - this was made near impossible by the app, which kept freezing and crashing on me, not letting me type my message. My opinion stands, I will proceed with deleting the app if by the time I have a new iPhone the problems have not been resolved. I like the game and I’m not overly bothered by the ads, but if I dare play more than two or three levels consecutively the app starts freezing. Restarting it barely does anything, and the more I play the more it freezes. ✓ Fix a change that was made?Hello, this one’s for the devs. This game is wonderful, it’s very calming and helps put my significant other to sleep each night, when she usually has trouble doing so. But a recent change was made to the game, where if you finished a row/column, it doesn’t automatically “x” the rest of the spots anymore. It was a big part of what made the game so nice, even if it’s a small difference. Would you please put it back? It’d mean a lot, we really miss that ease of life mechanic. It was relaxing, and helps her sleep. Thank you, we hope to see that mechanic back in the game soon :) thank you for making a calming game for before bedtime. ✓ Ads!You’ll be able to copy and paste your standard response again here. Yes. I know you rely on ads for your revenue. What annoys me, and I guess most of the other people complaining about ads, is things like 2 consecutive ads. You get one when you finish a level, you’re taken back to the home page and then you get a second ad before the next level. Unnecessary. In addition some of the ads you’re accepting are doing very good jobs of hiding the X, making it hard to skip them after 5 seconds. So that’s annoying. Finally (for now): are you running any sort of quality control on the ads you accept? There’s the tetris-like game which claims to be “realxing”. There’s the AI game that changes screen so often that I’d be concerned for anyone with photo-sensitive epilepsy and there’s that awful Scapes game which seems to delight in tormenting its female characters. ✓ CrashesI love every single thing about this app. And I mean EVERYTHING. It’s simple, and puzzles are fun to solve, nothing overwhelming and constantly popping up. Just a simple collection of nonograms to solve. However. The app drains my battery ridiculously fast, which never happens unless I’m playing this app. I can go from 90% to 10% in 20 minutes, whereas my battery typically will last me all day long with frequent use. And my phone gets HOT while playing. I could work around both of those issues, if it weren’t for the app crashing. It was fine for a while after I downloaded it. But it hasn’t even been 24 hours since I downloaded and starting using it, and it’s so bad that the app will crash after 30 seconds of having it open, and then will not power back up unless I leave it alone for a few hours. I am really disappointed because I would easily rate this 5 stars and even buy the paid version. But the app crashes so much I can’t even use it anymore after less than a day. ✓ Used to be goodAfter having this app for over a year and starting off very happy with it, I’ve just deleted it (I’ve had to load it again just to write this review). There are two reasons: 1) The final pictures are getting less and less like the picture you create on the screen … in some cases the basic blocks of just 2 or 3 colours with no definition or detail are unrecognisable from what they transform into at the end. It seems to be very lazy “artists” who are now putting the games together. The latest update has adverts that take over the app and you can’t get out of the screen (the “Very” advert is an example) without closing the app down and restarting it. ✓ Great game but glitches ruin itI really like this game. The 15x15 is a bit small and therefore easy to accidentally hit the wrong square but otherwise it’s simple and satisfying to play. However, the interface gets glitchy especially as you move up through the levels. My phone overheats, the battery drains very quickly (losing a percentage every 30 seconds or so) and the sensitivity of the screen slows considerably so it takes ages to input a cross or fill to the squares. If I’m listening to a music app at the same time the sound will crackle and disappear. I’ve already reached level 1000 and then had to delete the app and start from level 1 again because it was getting increasingly glitchy and draining the battery like crazy. It’s the only issue I have with the game but it’s a pretty major one..Version: 4.3.1
