✓ Beautiful game hosted on garbage serversDisconnects more often than not. I noticed this happening a little when I first installed the game, but it’s gotten worse and worse since then. I can put up with it being repetitive. I can put up with the fact that the voice acting in the cut scenes is spotty at best. But somebody needs to explain to me why I should be expected to pay for ridiculous amounts of micro-transactions for gear that I can’t even use because I can’t stay connected to their servers. I do tech support for a living so I’m not making these claims without having done any troubleshooting. iOS updates have been done. App updates have been done. I’ve tried uninstalling/reinstalling the app. I’m running a gigabyte pipe, with proper security, and nothing to interfere with the WiFi. I’ve tried using a couple different routers. I’ve tried running it at different times of the day, on different servers. I work from home and I’m able to connect on different OSI layers for work and hardly EVER run into any issues even when running multiple software apps requiring high bandwidth & processing power. ✓ Honest reviewOverall the graphics are impressive, the cut scenes are well done, feels like you’re playing an automated comic book in the fact that you can simply put your characters on auto combat and sit back and watch which defeats the purpose of “playing a game.“ Did notice on some of the cut scenes the lip-synching is off which is disappointing. The description said it would be an open world you could explore. I have yet to see that in the fact that you have preset missions for each character based on the ones that you choose from the beginning of course, so it feels as if you’re simply following a predetermined course with little variation of what you can do other than button mash or place on auto and sit back and watch. Also find it irritating that some of the costume changes which contribute to your attributes look ridiculous. If you want to keep the character as original you simply cannot if you want to get the boost. Netmarble did make an impressive game graphic-wise, I just found the gameplay and all the superfluous in-game mechanics such as upgrades, etc. surrounding it to be irritating. ✓ Epic Moneygrab (Install if and only if you can spend $1000+)You can grind with all your life and the game will let you down (No endgame PVE content, don’t even think about entering PVP if you don’t have gears worth $1000). You can do micro transactions in the hope that every drop accounts for something, but I’m reality you are donating money to Netmarble charity trust. I am writing this review due to frustration from the game mechanics, it’s content and player base. I am happy that this game is announced as a dead game (deserved it), and I am deleting this game in the hope that I will never have to install this again..Version: 1.8.3
✓ Stupid game for poor playerSame with other RPG game I was on level 70. But later you can’t even play. Most of the missions are hard to play. P v P battles and omega battles are for the player who spent so much money. A player spent a lot money and they are gonna be immortal in this game. Why not make the game that is fair for everyone. If you are a player and don’t want to spend money. I suggest that this game is not right for you. I was spending around $50 but nothing change. As long as your hero level are going high and you will realize that is gonna be really hard. Overall the game is nice but not for poor player..Version: 1.1.5
✓ Predatory Behavior All Over this GameThis game is the definition of predatory. People in chat are routinely doxing other players me included i have had my personal information leaked by another player and the developer did nothing to stop that behavior. I have reported it with no action being done to stop the people from doing it. World chat also has both racist where the N word is routinely used and no discipline is there to stop it, to sexual and homophobic explicit talk, some where people are asking if there are little girls who can send them nude photos. Again this has all been send to Netmarble and reported and nothing has been done, it continues. Netmarble will refuse to respond to any suggestions or help, beyond the same canned “we will monitor” response. I have not even gotten into gameplay. Nothing is being updated beyond the shop. Just save yourself the headache of this game and do not even download it. Unless you are willing to spend THOUSANDS of dollars to get good. Because that is the only way to improve in this game is to buy items from the shop. Just avoid this predatory game. Better yet avoid any and all Netmarble Games..Version: 1.9.7
✓ Amazing graphics but repetitive gameplayThe GRAPHICS ARE AMAZING!!!! The cute scenes are also just as good but the gameplay feels very repetitive and with the option of auto play, you can just leave the game while you auto complete challenges with no skill. The enemies get way too difficult to beat very early on with multiple hits to beat one. This causes the game to just spam 5 buttons. The tasks are always to beat a group of enemies or collect an item which is fun for a bit but gets old quickly. The character and moves are well made and keep the game fresh. Just improve the missions and objectives of the game so they don’t feel more tedious. This game is good but not something you play a lot..Version: 1.9.3
✓ Crashes on openingI was really looking forward to this game but after selecting my region and server and pressing play, on the baby groot screen the game crashes. If the devs see this please fix it, I am on an iPad 6th generation (a supported device) if that helps. Thanks!.Version: 1.1.5
✓ Pay walls - devs never change only get worseThe game looks good and can be fun at times. Been playing since launch but needs a lot of work. Biggest problem is the obvious pay walls. While you can still be f2p, lack of resources and gear become the issues. Gear itself is soooo hard to get, i have yet to craft or win one regional piece from anything…. Makes the will to play dwindle fast. Why be food for whales? Big spenders are the only ones having any fun, not sure what the endgame is here but this is one seriously grindy and repetitive game. A simple idea to the devs is to rework the way gear and items are earned, make it a bit easier to craft or increase the drop rates. The updates didnt really improve anything for me personally in gameplay, i get its designed as a long haul type game but give me more incentive to continue. Failing to get anything of significant value after so much time played is discouraging. Why draw for costumes? Drop rate is so bad, you’re more likely to get hit by lightning. ✓ Pay to play just like everything elseI was enjoying this game until I hit level 90 with my main character. Then, omega war (a group PvP mode) is completely broken as I cannot go near another player without being one hit killed. There is no way for a free to play player to catch up with those who spend their life savings on this game, so what’s the point? I think these games are never worth spending a penny on because small occasional purchases also make no difference. The chance of obtaining the best equipment etc is so low that you literally need to give netmarble all your money, and even then only have a tiny chance. There are people starving in the world and for someone to feel ok about spending so much money on what is essentially moving images on a screen, I find disgusting..Version: 1.2.4

✓ TerribleHas got to be one of the most over-complicated games you’ll ever download. It’s a p2w game as most are now. Get some gear level it up to max stars ones done then level again to max different coloured stars. Multiply that by 15million other items to upgrade and go through and million of upgrades and you’re half way there. There is absolutely no game play involved. There is auto fight and skip on everything. You never lose health or fights. Hold down attack until you get bored or auto attack leave it for a while and you’ve levelled up. ✓ Good at start, Ptw later.It’s good when you first start but as you progress it get’s harder to play especially if you’re playing solo because the farther you get the more you need to advance in levels and power which is normal I suppose but every now and then you start to get more and more pop ups about buying packs to progress easier. And I wouldn’t mind as much if everything wasn’t so over priced. Like it wants $40 alone just for an outfit from the movies but not just that they are $40 each. 😂 greed comes to mind. ✓ Game is fun but….I enjoy this game and have lots of fun playing it. The characters are cool and the gameplay is also pretty nice. Although I enjoy the game I find some things that make it really annoying. One thing is that it takes up so much space. This game took about 6 Gb from my device and I can’t afford to have that. Another thing is that it cuts out so many times. I try to remove as much clutter from my device as possible but it still seems to have bugs that kick me out of the game. My last reason being (and this one isn’t the worst), the game hasn’t released a new character in a while. As far as I know, the last character is either Magik, Wolverine, or Scarlet Witch. Which ever one it was, is the last character released and I think they really need to add at least 3 more characters soon. ✓ Needs a lot of improvement…It’s good, but relies very heavily on the combat. In my opinion, it focuses too much on making it a constant brawler, instead of a story game. I like the story, but I really wish there was more cutscenes where the players are not forced to do combat. We don’t really get to know any of the NPCs. The only time you get to interact with them, is when they’re asking you a favor. The graphics are realistic for a mobile game, but the gameplay is pretty generic. The fact that you get a lot of freedom customizing your characters is pretty fun though. For incoming players, just be prepared that you are not going to be able to play player vs. player until your at least level 30. In the advertising, it was misleading how much you can actually interact with other players that are not NPCs. There are also quite a few glitches that make combat really messy, so you can’t see what your doing. ✓ Highly P2W. Not recommended for F2PEverything is so good as other reviews mentioned. The game is highly P2W. Their are not so many ways to farm the crystals to roll the costumes, cards, cores, etc. The packages pop up every time you reach an achievement. The most wanted operation is lame. You can’t know when and where the target appears. When you see the target on the map and run as fast as you can, the target is killed by others so you have to wait and run to other location and hope it’s still there when you arrive. I don’t like that player can only play and build 1 hero at the time. If you switch to other hero, you have to start from the beginning. I start to feel bored after couple of days playing Iron Man, not to mention that I purchased some armor set for him. I’m lazy to start over with a new hero. Developer should update the switching hero but keeping the power from the lead hero so that we can experience all of the heros. This game has so so much potential, I’ve never seen such a great game on mobile but the gameplay is repeated, highly P2W and poor organization..Version: 1.1.5

✓ The game is mehI’ve been playing since launch. I loved it on the first run. The second got me to captain marvel and it took her a while to get relevant, but after that I enjoyed her. There’s a lot of afk grinding. There’s really really really terrible rng on all roles. It’s the worst I’ve ever seen in a game. It’s almost to the point that I’ve had one region costume drop from crafting since august, and I gave up. I don’t craft gear anymore. ✓ Game is pretty goodI previously had rated this as 1 star due constant crashing of the game. Whilst as usual in the I.T / developer world the fault is always with the user/device, the crashing occurred across multiple different devices. The latest update has seemed to stabilise the game drastically. The game itself is pretty fun. You will encounter bottlenecks in progress pretty frequently as with all mobile games given that’s how they make money. In saying that I’ve found generally with patience (and multiple heroes to play) you can overcome them with time. The loot boxes are really not worth buying, odds are very, very, very low of getting anything good. Just skip all the cutscenes it’s quite boring but gameplay is quite addictive. ✓ Good, just wish company isn’t so greedyThe game has great ideas. You have to grind a lot, which of course can be all skipped by paying real money. The worst thing is that PvP is completely spoiled by purchases. It gives you diamonds which you can use to upgrade completely everything you need to be dominating duels and PvP arenas. Single player can become a bit “hard” to complete towards the level cap, as you have to do all possible daily quest to slowly increase your power. My opinion - great idea spoiled by the greed. My solution - make a monthly based subscription - there’s enough people that love the game and won’t mind spending 5£ a month, that will make the whole game more fair and enjoyable..Version: 1.9.7

✓ Marvels Revolutionary Letdown Of A Game.I, and many others, were very excited for “Marvels First Open World Mobile Experience”. However upon the disappointing and scarily comman launch of being told to wait even longer, the gameplay experience I had was a letdown. I play on a 2018 model iPad, it can handle most things with ease. But this game was clunky, barely holding a good frame rate, as well as some really sour tasting gameplay choices. Something I love about RPG/OPEN WOLRD games is the smoothness of combat. This game was fantastic! Wait- no, it wasn’t. When you attack, you’re snapped into place. No running and shooting, no jumping and punching… big letdown. The characters were, ehhh. It’s the success of disney plus’ “Wanda Vision” I was half expecting the much more popular avenger “The Scarlet Witch” to be in it. But instead we got the long forgotten “Storm”. Someone we haven’t seen in a movie for what feels likes 10 years. I couldn’t bare get past the tutorial (a lengthy burning repeat at I’ve tutorial mind you). ✓ Fun game but frustratingStarted playing again bc I love marvel but the ui is even worse now. Don't get me wrong it's good game and the updates with new stuff is very nice. The big problem for me and others is the buttons all over the screen. The map icon is too big, flashing one time deal sale button 24/7, epic invasion, omega pass, chat box, meds, missions, invite to party button doesn't go away. Functions all over the top, bottom, and the sides. Literally the rightside has almost nowhere to place your finger to move the camera while playing? I like playing marvel future revolution but after a long time I'm just getting more tired of it as I go. Could you guys just make 1 or 2 buttons that have a drop down list of functions. A top left or top right corner button that is small and has all functions listed. If that is too hard to do then maybe just take all the buttons off, redo the action buttons to fight with, a small map icon, and a small mission list bar. ✓ Poor game designI played this on launch and loved the gameplay, however after some time playing I tried to play with a friend but couldn’t. Me and my friend picked different servers, with no warning that this was an important decision. Now if we want to play together one of us has to lose all of our progress. This is poor game design, it would be so easy to allow people to port progress to another server or at least give a good warning, neither of us want to start again as we have both spent a considerable amount of time playing! ✓ Has potential but it also has its problemsWhen I was starting out, this game felt really nice, having to meet new characters and having to know the main style of gameplay, and the graphics looked awesome, all good, until we get to mid-game, then it becomes like a huge boring grind, you either gotta use your whole wallet for a low chance to get a 5 star, or upgrade costumes and make sure your gold doesn’t run out. Progress is SO slow, but I’m still playing because of the story and because I want to get stronger. Another problem that irritates me so much is that even when I’m under-leveled but I still manage to get a main boss’ health down near to 0, the one thing that is so close to making me uninstall this game completely is that the game suddenly kills itself (even when I have a solid wifi connection) and when I check to see my progress, I have to spend another 20 minutes trying to defeat the main boss again trying not to worry about the game suddenly kicking me out for no reason. ✓ Marvel Future RevolutionWhen I pre-registered for this game I was really excited, as I wanted a game like this for a long time. But I had to delete a lot of stuff to get this game to install, and as soon as the screen says ‘tap to start’, and I do so, it crashes. I ended up having to delete the game, which really annoyed me as I sacrificed a lot for it to install. ✓ You can try but beware.The drawings look great and characters perform well, same old storylines but not expecting anything new anyway. There are few things quite annoying. First, I don’t know why the costumes need to separate into different parts, they are so ugly before you collect the whole set. Then, the fighting system. It looks cool but everything allows automatic fight, I just lost interest playing this game while watching the characters fight for me. Not just the fighting system, even exploring the map can be automatically done. I tried to stay manual but there are some paths can only be shown in automatic version, manual cannot fly up there or swing up there. The game gives us different missions but back to the same problem, automatic. I can just open the game and sleep, it will automatically finish every missions. I mean bro, personally I don’t feel any involvement in this game, why don’t I just go watch marvel movies and cartoons instead. Playing this game, you need no skill to win and level up, they even gives you a lot of potions to make sure you won’t die. ✓ No invert Y camera control ?Why o why do so many mobile games leave out the option of being able to invert Y camera control ?? Baffling and very discriminating against inverters!! Didn’t expect it to be missing on a AAA mobile title like this!! What a shame 🙁 for those that scratch their head as to why inverters can’t play in a regular way it’s as simple as this…. If you’re right handed try and carry out a complex task left handed (or vice versa). With much effort and practice over many months you might just be able to eventually achieve things… however!! ✓ SaveMFRI’m a huge marvel fan, an when I got a notification months before launch of a new marvel game coming to mobile, I was ecstatic! I couldn’t wait, a marvel mmo for mobile?? let’s go!! Was my initial reaction. Then months pass an MFR finally launches! It was super fun, but also super confusing an easy to make simple mistakes that would ruin your accounts longevity in the game. The game was a rush of excitement at first. Then it slowly got boring an players left. They tried to keep people playing by teasing a new hero, that hero took months to finally arrive an when she did she was underwhelming, they over hyped her an she was a failure. They charge you ridiculous amount for deals an bundles and in game currency. That being said they drop rates for “draws/banners” are horrible. You spend a lot an get little in return. The pvp is favored for spenders an if your f2p this game will be more of a headache then enjoyment. But that being said, this game has alot of potential if the developers actually cared to listen to their players, but they don’t they only care for money. The only thing right now keeping this game alive is the community. An they are tired of being shafted by net marble. ✓ Ok but too grindy and disappointingStarted playing on my phone when it globally released and enjoyed it for multiple hours got my character up to 60,000 power and then decided to move onto another character a noticed you have to replay the entire story you just played which is stupid, why would i want to replay an entire story I've already played before its ridiculous and very time consuming, after discovering this i decided to look inti how much of a grind and how much work and effort i would have to put in, multiple things immediately lost my interest such as you being unable to max out a character if you make the wrong choice which ruins your entire gameplay experience, another being that gold is very limited and cant be obtained all the time, gold is essential for purchasing stuff such as medkits and upgrading your character but when you run out of the stuff your screwed and without medkits your not surviving another thing is the stupid little micro-transactions required to catch up with other players and not fall behind without spending money you lack the essential power level to compete levels. overall the game is ok for some hours of playtime but after a while you realise that your gonna have to invest a heck if alot of money into the game if you want nearly as good as other players.Version: 1.1.5
✓ What I want changed before I install it again.I saw the game online and I wanted to try it out after reading a few reviews and watching trailers. The first thing I noticed is how slow it was downloading which was a little annoying but I didn’t mind it that much but what bothered me the most is after I installed it there was a age restriction which is little stupid in my opinion because I have been watching marvel movies sense I was in diapers and I see many kids around 5-6 who are watching the movies in theaters. With the age restriction you need parents approval which is inconvenient to be only email because I know my parents would never want to see a email from a game in there inbox (coming from a family where there email is full of very important messages). If you need parent approval at least let it be phone number or email. The third thing I saw is how glitchy it is. I have a very new IPhone so it makes no sense why it was so glitchy. Currently as I write this I have a iPhone 11 and I have only had it for year so it makes no sense. ✓ Almost thereAll of the NPCs look the same… at least render them a different color or even hair color. Also the enemies are just constantly swarming the area.. and again all look the same. Targeting doesn’t work very well either. That being said, hero’s look great and it’s a fun idea. Although every quest is an NPC who looks like the last one with a different name saying a bunch of stuff that doesn’t matter because you’ll finish the quest by killing the same enemies who look like the last ones, but with a different name, that instantly spawn the moment you kill them. ✓ Not the Revolution I signed up forThis game seemed to me like a response to Genshin Impact so my brain couldn’t help but compare them. However its in that, that this game starts to come up short for me. On the plus side, graphically this game shines and runs respectably on iPhone 8. Its after that where I start to lose steam. This game’s button layout for me is the stuff of nightmares and camera’s position is too far to see anything & not dynamic enough to keep up. The lack of controller support makes this a rougher call than it need be. The buttons that are available vary in size to the point of inevitable accidental pressing or tanking hits cause the dodge button is a find the dodge button minigame you have no time for. Combat is a pretty mashy affair but enemy variety seems plentiful. However the aforementioned camera may not help you understand what’s happening. Story wise its fine but there are parts where you go from voice acting to text that seems weird and some character portrayals and decisions are a bit off. I honestly didn’t dig deep enough into leveling or the monetization loop so IDK. It does have the traditional clunky UI so leveling and menu navigation are confusing for the sake of tradition. Tutorials do kinda help but a lot is thrown at you at once. The game isn’t what I was hoping for but I commend it for looking better than some Marvel games on consoles. ✓ Repetitive & TOO MUCH gamblingI’ve been playing since the US game launch and I can’t say too many positive things so far. What I like is the beautiful environments that were created. They are very rich in detail and I found myself moving around just to look closely at them. The characters are nicely rendered as well. My favorites to play are Dr. Strange and Iron Man which I leveled to 100. What I don’t like the most is that you have to level each of your characters through the same methods of gameplay. Doing the same thing over again for the initial 6 characters becomes more like a chore than actual enjoyment of gameplay. The second worst thing is that the power creeps in the game are huge at this point. If you can drop, literally, a few thousand dollars on this game you “could” acquire all 4 pieces to a spiffy new costume that grants you great power. In Marvel Future Fight you can buy the costumes for about $10 but in MFR you need to gamble for them! The drop rates are absolutely atrocious to get one piece; imagine trying to get all 4! From online reports, it appears many players are leaving the game in droves at this early stage already. I wonder why? As soon as you finish the main story line with your main you should be around level 100, this is where everything is open to you. Or should be. Dark zone, a mode to get the better loot of the game is full of payers who stay there all game making sure you make no progress. There’s no point starting out with the same character because the outcome won’t change. Save your time. After spending about a week of in game game time I can tell you wholeheartedly that unless you have 100s of pounds you will never be able to make progress and get your character to the best it can be. Now you may think this is a stingy review and it is. I’ve spent about 5000 gems on draws for iron man with this increased chance and had not one legendary. ✓ A+ Graphics, A+ cutscenes, C- gameplayWithout a doubt, this game fills up a vacuum for a superhero MMO set in the marvel universe (multiverse in this case). The graphics are great, and the costume customization options are awesome. The skills are great, and building the character is fun. Auto-path is expected. It is a mobile game after all and the need for a more casual system is natural here. So I have no quarrel with that. Where the game lacks for me, is just how P2W it is in pvp scenarios. Look, the game needs to sustain itself, so being able to buy advantages to further advance in pve is fine, it’s a choice between the slow burn or taking a shortcut. But you should not have let that seep into the pvp environment. There’s nothing that’s more annoying than being 1 shot by another player just because they are richer than you, lol. No amount of strategy or preparation is going to help, and there’s no need to even try as the other player just has to go on AUTO and bonk you instantly. It sucks, and just doesn’t make sense to me. Pvp environment should instead have a balancing mechanic, where a minimum and a maximum power level threshold is calculated, and everyone who’s below the minimum will be set to that minimum for the match, and everyone who’s above the maximum will be set to the maximum for the match. This still gives a slight advantage, but will actually give other players a chance to actually do something and be helpful (like in omega war). Squad battle, omega war, dark dimension, or just straight up pvp, is all entirely broken, and just makes no sense to participate if you haven’t spent thousands on your character. This is a pay to win game, I get that and respect your choice to sustain the game this way, but AT LEAST create a few free to play mechanics that will motivate the less wealthy community of your players to stay. Make pvp fun, and not based on who’s got a bigger wallet. :/ Please don’t respond to this with one of your pre-prepared responses, and instead go to the drawing board and cook something up to balance power in PVP. ✓ I love this game but it’s not fairI really do love this games it combines so many of my favorite things to play it’s mmo, pvp, customization, marvel characters and a good story. The reason I’m giving 3 stars instead of 5 because there’s a lot of bugs, force log outs, force closing my game, unfair matches in omega wars, and difficultly leveling up character. I do appreciate the training grounds but it’s just another thing to pay to get a ahead of the leaderboard Some examples of game not at its best is when, I played a omega war which was 3 vs 3 instead of a full team against team. My team who had me at lvl 108, 90, and 110 players who got absolutely destroyed for a whole 9 minutes ;which wasn’t the funnest thing, by 3 lvl 110. Special operations, omega wars, most wanted, raids, doing missions, duals an even the lobby I get forced out of my game and closes the app which I have reopen and it has to boot up, tap start and select the character I was. And when that does happen I lose a match, have my health, don’t get any rewards because I was immobile from the game. So until these bugs and some fair match or better way to get stronger and grind..Version: 1.4.5

✓ Horrible gameOk I’ve had some opinions on this game and overall it’s a good game so why have I rated this one star well that’s obvious…THE AMOUNT OF STORAGE SPACE THIS ONE GAME TAKES UP on launch this game was great and I had a lot of space for it but my storage space has been greatly crippled so I can no longer access the game as I have such low storage.
