Ammended reviewThank you for the reply. I am trying to play on ipadmini1, and apart from a few instances the game runs well. Crashes randomly midgame when trying to build traps and upon going to item screen, apart from that the game runs well and is very fun to play. I have actually managed to get through a few levels when it hasnt crashed. I believe just a bit more optimisation and the game would run perfectly. Once again thanks for reply, i hope that you can fix this for us people with older devices.Version: 1.0.2

First game is MUCH better!This game is a hot mess compared to the first game. Developer's making TD games sometimes go too far and make the mistake of going overboard with their creation. Too many choices and not enough stat points makes the game a major hassle to play. You have to reallocate tower and stat points to pass maps. Not a good design IMO. Nice try to improve your game, but some of us just like to play, not reallocate stat points because you decided to be cheap on handing them out. It's not strategic, it's a chore..Version: 1.0.2

Ug. So much better and worse than the firstAdds so much good stuff. But this is more than counterbalanced by the bad. The maps just get dumb. 3 entrances and 3 exits. 15 different paths to protect. Oh and looks like you didn’t notice wave 20 was flying units sorry. Waste an hour. You end up having to not make one single mistake which is so frustrating. You spend most of the game pausing. All the joy is sucked out in this version. Oh there’s great things. But the best of it is when it plays like the first game. It’s a shame. DisappointedIt’s a good game, but the upgrade system for the traps just isn’t worth it, you’re not going to use to many variables simply because some are just horrible and others simply don’t work. Ultimate traps also barely mean anything now, simply because the new maps make it where your have to constantly sell, redeploy, or restart because something will always screw you over. I can’t even rush all waves for that extra The upgrade system from the previous game at least had meaning, but now the upgrades are branched, and you can only pick and choose to have a trap that just isn’t good enough. Or where you need about 10 of them to be effective but heaven forbid the price scaling allows that to happen before 50 enemies slam right into your base making it pointless. Ultimates are moreorless edited to where you get 2 choices and an upgrade that costs 10,000 coins for a minimal boost on something in the trap. While Ultimate’s were a great edition to the previous game, they are simply pointless in this one, unless the 4th tier becomes a normal part you can use and a 5th tier added, your traps are just getting overpowered easily if you want to make any actual progress in this game. Enemies are relatively balanced, aside from Diggers who have way too much health that a T3 Bolt trap (You know the one that can take out a knight in a single shot) has to take two turns in order for it to maybe take out the digger if all bolts hit, which is unlikely because the guy is small enough to avoid 1 or 2. What isn’t fun is the scaling of enemies if you rush waves. A new “Wrath” feature has been added which gives bonus xP and such for killing enemies, but also adds such ridiculous buffs to the enemies that it’s impossible to kill them without throwing them off the map. The weak Adventurer can deal with a snare without issue if the level gets High enough, which isn’t hard. So trying to rush waves so you can get more exp and gold becomes a nuisance more than a challenge. My biggest issue is maps, which are a mixed bag, some are great, others are absolute garbage. The nice thing about maps in the first game was you can manipulate your enemies to follow a certain path you wished for them to follow, or siphon them to go a certain way. In this game, they will throw you in a big open area, make a “pathway” with breakable walls blocking them, then spam diggers to where said breakable wall might as well not have been there to begin with. These maps make it where you can set traps to slowly make a pathway that no enemy can beat as long as you have the strategy to do such, instead they want to make it where you are forced to constantly change everything, losing precious gold trying to keep up with what is going on. You no longer are in control which is what makes this game amazing. Another issue with these breakable walls is that there’s never a good way to defend them. Sure you can set a trap on them, but what’s the point when 20 diggers swarm it, and destroy it in 5 seconds before it can even kill 1 of them? I understand this is unintentional, but these enemies are far too powerful, and honestly I might as well just use the demon trap the entire game as it seems to be the only one capable of doing actual damage to anything, everything else simply fails to deliver (even if it promises that it will) Oh, and maybe I just haven’t unlocked it yet, (even though I’m at Lvl 24) is an endless mode for the maps, there’s no rune for it as far as I can tell and I cannot find a way to start it. Which is a huge disappointment because the only way I can see myself making any progress in this game is by grinding heavily on a few of the good maps to try and get as much exp as possible to get skills/gems/items There are positives to this. Some of the new traps are pretty cool, and certainly will be interesting to try, albeit a few have already failed to deliver. (Powerful strike my behind if it cannot even kill an adventurer, at tier 3 mind you.) Some of the maps are great, and certainly work with the manipulating/siphoning the enemies to your advantage, some of the new enemies are a new interesting challenge. I especially enjoy jungle warriors. Some have way too much health though. The item system is interesting, albeit a little too complicated and unrewarding. I do love the rune system, and find the transmuting tab interesting although again, unrewarding. And I love the skill tree, extra objectives, and the fact I may repeat levels to get the extra experience I need to push even farther. This game has great potential, I really hope at least some of these issues get fixed, so that I may love it even more. And I think it can far surpass it’s predecessor in time. Tl:dr Needs work Enemies are too strong (Screw Diggers), traps too weak (not all, but some.) Some bad maps, some bad balancing, over complicated system that needs work. Overall a 2/5 with hopefully an update in the future to tell you it’s much better..Version: 1.0.1

Far too many crashesI loved the first game, so bought this as soon as I saw it was available. I'm running iOS 9.3.5 on an iPad 3. The game crashes in the first level if I click the friendly npc by the portal (I assume he's friendly, I can't really tell as I can't click him, without the game crapping itself) or if perhaps too many npcs are on the screen at once? It's hard to tell what causes the second crash, but I can't even get past the first level. I assume that the rest of the game is a brilliant expansion on the first, but for now it's unplayable on my hardware. Here's hoping for a fix soon, keep up the good work!.Version: 1.0.2

Crash endgameAs the game progresses it becomes less and less stable. Playing on iPad Pro. Playing maps ranked in the high 60s and each one of them is unplayable. As soon as I get more than 200-300 concurrent baddies on the screen the game locks up frozen and then crashes. Sometimes I make it 100 waves or more and other times I barely get to 50. I tried ensuring I did not use any boosters to increase enemy count but alas each game crashes. Really enjoyed it for while it worked..Version: 1.0.2

It’s ok but buggedIn the game a if you progress a little the game can stop the increase of experience through each round you play sometimes. Making minutes of playtime pointless as the progression just stops and when you play another game you dont know if it will happen again..Version: 1.0.2

Not as good as the first Dungeon Warfare game.After playing DW2 for a few days, I realized how much I like the original game in comparison. This game, like a lot of sequels, tries to outdo the original. However, the result is not as fun to play. I can beat the levels and progress through the game, but the gameplay is more frustrating than anything else. Good tower defense game, but crashes too muchGood game, lots of stuff to earn, skill points, items etc.. That stuff is all great, but I'm experiencing some crashes. A step backward.Loved the first installment. This version feels tedious. I feel like I’m spending more time preparing to play a board vs playing a board. The items and runes and skills are annoying. I waste so much time optimizing my setup that the p,ay to prep ratio is way off. The UI is also really really bad and gets in the way of enjoying the game. I can’t really recommend the game to anyone aside from hardcore strat gamers. The dev should focus on in game mechanics vs items and rune. For example bullets that pass through flames or ice do more damage or flames in demons make them temporarily flame ogres. Those interactions are far more intuitive. Traps also have too many variations which make it too complicated vs being fun. Old system of only 1 upgrade option with 2 ultimate options was better. Percentage increase for traps are hard to follow. Attributes like two spike =2x damage are far easier to understand. I want to play a game not bust out excel and run calculus to play each board..Version: 1.0.1

It’s greatMy only gripe is I like to put up crates to block certain paths, this is now redundant because enemies will openly head towards them and attack them, which even upgraded they don’t last long, so route planning is pointless and also enemies can now build bridges over water gaps which again ruins it a little for me, especially in a certain level where I had sustantial defences until the build bridges and negated all of them. Seems to be a few unfair advantages t the enemies. And for some reason as the level goes on I seem to make less gold?.Version: 1.0.2
