✓ Good app, too expensive for iAPUsed this app for exactly 13 month (paid for 1 month and a whole year for the iAP) but once it ran out I missed the features it brought but couldn’t bring myself to pay the almost double iAP now. Stopped using it and if I want to use my Apple Watch like this I have Widgy’s Watchy. Previous review. After a few failed attempts to get this app to work I’m glad I stuck with it. I now spend hours a day downloading watchface from the Facebook group (Clockology Fans BTW) and learning how they work. The designers are amazing and you forget this is an Apple Watch app. Must install and I've paid the subscription I love it so much..Version: 1.4.6
✓ I don’t get it?Happg to update of im wrong, but seems like you have to open the app every time to display a watch face, and after awhile it defaults anyway. Not much point in the app ic you arent actually changing watch faces, you just displaying whats in the app.Version: 2.3.2

✓ A real shame as this app is good but…In the FAQ it answers the question “Does Clockology drain my watch battery” and their answer is No. My answer is YES, Without Clockology running my Apple Watch gets down to around 65% daily by the end of the evening and I put it back on to charge. With Clockology app running, it now gets down to 29% before I put it on charge again at the end of the day. So something is not quite right, I don’t have “Always on” as I have Series 3, brightness is also just under midway, so not too bright. It’s a real shame as with this app I finally have my Apple Watch face how I want it with the info I need most. Battery percentage Day, date, month, time And steps/mileage for the day. Seems simple but hard to find this info with the time across the middle of the watch (how a watch should be) May need to delete this app sadly as it does drain the battery too much..Version: 1.4.6
✓ Cannot complete setupThis seems like a really good idea and seems and honestly fills a void that apple left but… I cannot get it to work. I have watched videos, I have adjusted settings, I have deleted and re-downloaded the app, nothing works. I believe that I need to allow access but there’s no way to do it, the settings do not exist under settings and the only info provided for that is to delete and re-download to prompt the acceptance of the data syncing /location services, this does not resolve the issue and I can’t get past that. When I launch the app or complication from my watch it gives me a message that I can use as remote. I am a tech savvy person and especially so when it comes to Apple and yet I cannot get this to work for the life of me. A shame really because I downloaded a couple of really awesome faces from the Facebook group but any info I can dig up does not resolve my issue. Also zero info in the app on how to troubleshoot problems, all in all a waste of most of my day..Version: 1.4.6

✓ No search featureI saw that there was a Back To the Future clock face but I scrolled through every face and couldn't find it. The app is OK, if it wouldn't crash so much. Just barely 3 stars is generous. Not a whole lot to choose from as many of the designs are different colors of the same design and a lot of the designs look almost exactly the same from each face maker. I have a few of the faces and they look ok but I'm noticing battery draining faster with these faces. May not keep the app. The apple faces look so much cleaner and better and have more functionality. This just seems like a "live wallpaper" of sorts with little to no functionality. Wish apple would step up their game and stop adding political faces and start adding some new faces that we ALL want, just just one small select group of people. ** UPDATE ** I went ahead and deleted the app from both the phone and watch. The app crashes way too much and is completely unstable. I have the most recent update on my watch and phone and this app still can't keep the clock face app running. I also changed my star rating to 1 star as that's about as generous I can be for an app that wants your money but is completely unstable and doesn't stay on. The app shows that it is running when I press the side button on the watch but I shouldn't have to do that many times an hour to keep this app running. Too much of a hassle. ✓ Hold on before you get carried way in excitement.Fun little App, pretty intuitive, gives you access to multiple designs and the ability to create your own. However, before you get carried away (as I did) and spend hours creating your new custom Corum Admiral’s Cup Trophy face in Illustrator. Pay attention to the “fine print”. Apple is a closed environment, you will need to run the App to display anything that comes from it. Your design or any other from Clockology (and any other similar App) will NOT appear as part of your Apple Watch faces collection. Still, it’s a cool App if you don’t mind that slight caveat. ✓ Nothing in good shape should be fixedI’m not a graphic designer nor I’m interested in design any watch face. Before the last update I was able to retain in my Apple face watches app the ones obtained from clockology. Now, that is not possible. You have to be bothered closing and opening the clockology app to see in your display for an hour or so. If any message comes you have to start over. Open the clockology app and keeping it running to have a again the face watch. If this is now the point, I must cancel the subscription and be back with my other apps. ✓ Needs updating badlyDon’t get me wrong this App has access to tons of great, amazing watch faces, especially through the Telegram community. However, two stars because it has a stupid subscription requirement rather than options to try and buy individual faces. No one needs to have another monthly expense these days. Also the App is outdated… All the other Watch face apps I’ve tried let you add the Face direct to Apple Watch App so it can be on all the time. Unfortunately the Clockology Apps only run through the App so the Face goes dark and the watch just shows the basic time, and even if you adjust your setting they will go off completely and revert to an stock watch face after an hour if you don’t keep checking your watch. If they would update so the Faces can be directly installed and scrap the subscription fees for individual purchase options then this would be a 5 star App..Version: 2.3.4

✓ Confusing to use, no way to contact developers to ask for questions.Social media pages are filled with people who’ve created beautiful watchfaces for their Apple Watches using Clockology. While the app seems interesting, there’s zero guidance on on the Dev’s FAQ on how to get these onto your watch. The Watch app asks the user to enable full screen on the clocks on your device (assuming this is your phone?) but there is no option in the iPhone app to enable full screen. ✓ Icon not showing properly..Am I the only one having the issue of the clockology complication icon not appearing correctly on all my native apple watch faces?? On my home faces where the icons are bigger, the clockology complication only appears like a “Y” in a circle - not as the whole clock. Also the App has had some changes on the phone. All confusing. However I have realised that my watch has to be minimum watch iOS 9.x.x and for my AW3 there is no such thing which means I can’t use the app anymore. ✓ Version 2.0 Ruined the App!I recently downloaded Clockology about a week ago and it made me excited to use my Apple Watch. The customizations were phenomenal and synced seamlessly on my Apple Watch series 3! But that excitement was short lived, because two days ago came update 2.0 that took the app’s perfect function into disarray. I had 30 Watch faces, that had to be re-downloaded, but once re-downloaded it imported the layers incorrectly and shifted it’s position. This means that once perfect watch faces now look like Pablo Picasso created them. Besides that I tried syncing the faces to the Watch and all of my faces weren’t fitting the screen. I tried some of the pre-made ones and those used less of the screen then the ones I downloaded. And don’t get me started on editing the watchfaces, they removed the undo button, and what’s worse is that even if I shift my misaligned layers into it’s proper place, it still doesn’t sync to fit my watch screen. Overall the update is disastrous and there are other shortcomings that I haven’t even mentioned, such as re-downloading a watch face takes a couple minutes to show up on the app, etc..Version: 2.0.1

✓ Battery drain and no real functionalityThis app is pointless. It kills the touch functionality. It's like a working clock picture on your fan. Touch the face it does nothing. The Facebook page is even worse. The Admin are awful. They allow very suggestive watch faces and stuff with the confederate flag on it. I always felt bullied on the page and wasn't treated kindly. The page is mostly people too lazy to figure out how to make faces so they constantly ask that and the same 2 or 3 technical questions over and over. The way you download faces is terrible. ✓ Won’t work on earlier Apple Watches.Last year, it worked great with my series one apple watch. I don’t need all the fancy upgrades that come with the newer watches and mine still works great. When adjusting angle it shows change while I tap the plus/minus but then it jumps back. Im a new user I just downloaded and got subscription today. When I would try to design a watch face, I would get about 10 minutes in and the app would crash, losing all my work. I started saving after each change, which was a pain that I was going to try to live with. However, I could never get the watch faces to transfer to my Apple Watch. I tried and tried and could not figure it out. On the watch, it would only say to “open clocks on your device and enable full screen”, and I never found that option on my Watch nor my iPhone. ✓ Feedback to dev team?Is this the only way to contact you? Seems odd. Paid the subscription hoping for more tools but none were forthcoming. I design analogue watch faces, I wanted to see more “hands” I want a rectangular hand, all you offer is rounded. I want to produce a “tail” or “overhang” from the back end of the hand protruding beyond the central pinion. I want to be able to put shapes or icons on the hands.
