The app has a few rough edges (controls sometimes a bit fiddly; no keyboard shortcuts on iPad; doesn’t seem to keep track of “watched” vs “unpatched”) but the catalogue of content is growing rapidly and the stuff produced by SommTV itself is of a high standard. He some how finds a way to work in how amazing he is and what he’s done for the industry, surprisingly into every episode. I’ve had SOMMTV for less than a year, and cannot stop watching video after video, and in many cases rewatching after learning more. The production quality for a streaming service as cheap as this one only needs to be adequate, but there isn’t a single piece of material that could be categorized as anything less than pristine. The only thing that I would offer as a critique would be that it would be easier at least for me if there was more of a list of the content so I can track everything I’ve seen.
