HR processing is completely unorganizedGuys, the people who review the on boarding documents are incredibly slow. I am also getting emails that I have to do requirements that aren’t even showing up as required in the app so therefore I have no where to upload these additional documents. I contacted customer support for the issue and they completely ignored my question/issue and talked about something completely different than my problem. it’s almost as if they just copied and pasted some random stuff that was pre-prepared and called it a day..Version: 1.7

App functionality is ridiculousAfter waiting 3 weeks to be fully verified due to bugs within the app, I’m unable to claim any shifts because… you guessed it… bugs within the app again. When I click “claim” to claim a shift it takes me to my already verified documents. There’s no next button no continue nothing I’m just stuck. I can’t see anything when I click help. There’s no customer service. I’ve applied to two other apps which service a lot of the same facilities but it’s just frustrating. There needs to be live customer service asap like we’re in healthcare things change any minute..Version: 1.5.1

Don’t waste your timeYou’re not working for yourself they try to force you take full time positions or take away options of picking anything up. You can’t float only one facility and a monthly schedule they are aware of . You get paid regular pay lucky if it’s 19$ if they cancel and you there they give you $30 never full pay or even half that’s a joke but they get full pay for you. They pay the least and the facilities don’t even have stars. If you looking for prn or self employment this is not it and very unreliable for adults..Version: 1.6

Ok company though haven’t been able to claim a shift at the momentSo since I’ve been with this company shiftmed I’m able to give 3 stars. There are shifts for this that don’t mind driving a distance from home for work which good for those. For those that are looking for local shifts it’s helpful to have a way on this app to know of any local shifts that contracts that are being worked on. Plus I haven’t seen anywheres on this that shows what your hourly pay is besides the pay that shows next the facility and location. Thank you Skinnieminnie07.Version: 1.5.3

CrazyWorst company every they was nice and my cuzzin with them this y I went but a day I work it was a problem on floor mind u there all day after that went down they called and said I’m a no show but I’m there go clock out it was a issue find out they called around 6 saying I was a no show next day they fix it NP now there calling saying I was clocked in with two different companies like y’all can’t stick to one story and shiftmed to save face with them side with them knowing the story don’t sound rite been doing this 10 and some years soon I deal with shiftmed I got issues it’s ok send my papers I don’t want to work for a company that don’t have there workers back I’m telling everyone I know this company not good.Version: 1.5.3

Loop holeGreat app for finding last minute work or if you want to pick up extra shifts for occasion such as birthday, holiday etc. I have it a 2 star because I would get text messages to my phone from this one facility requesting me to work all different times of the day and night (as early as 5am and as last as 11pm) it would never stop. The facility take advantage of this feature and it was annoying hearing my phone go off and seeing it was that one facility. Called the company and they just told me the only way to stop I’m would cause all communication from ShiftMed to stop..Version: 1.6

Must not want nurses to work shiftmedI downloaded the app and uploaded my credentials in sometime in 2021. I asked through their worthless bot what else was needed & it said a background check. I asked how to complete the background check & the worthless bot sent a link to a different state other than my home state. After going back & forth, I gave up. Until recently. I've received multiple emails about needs, but my background check is not done. If this is how shiftmed completes its onboarding, it's not likely to be any better when you sign of for x amount of $/shift..Version: 1.5.1

Onboarding is a headacheI have been trying to onboard since June , everything has been approved but nothing has happened since it told me 24-48 I should be able to pick up shifts and it’s been a week later. When I go in the chat I receive some generic messages that they are still waiting on a background check I sent the email I received from checker but no we are waiting on the patch…. Idk what that means and the person seems irritated and doesn’t explain what. I’ve never experienced onboarding like this with any other company and quite honestly it’s annoying!.Version: 1.6

Horrible experienceThey don’t answer the phone they will take a shift you worked off and not try to pay they don’t respond at they say “24/7 support” but you almost can never get in contact with anybody the payroll team don’t have number you can call they say they will give you a call back and do not there horrible company who loves to lie they need to get there act together. This is the worst app ever the allow facility’s to cancel your shift after you worked it in there system and they will not pay for it they give you the run around I been waiting 3 weeks to be paid for a shift I worked and I been calling and get next week next week but no payment has been made.Version: 1.5.2

Rate is alway not accurate do your math pplShift med app is always incorrect with pay. It’s very upsetting when you see a 12 hr shift and they post way below as if a person do not know how to count there money. A 12hr shift in California is 8 hrs and time and a half pay. Shiftmed would post a 12 hr shift for $280 witch is incorrect for a rate like $24 or $54 an higher. And when you question them about they’ll tel you the app doesn’t calculate like that. But you will receive your correct pay. Lies if you don’t question them about they will keep your hard earn money. This is not a 1099 this is a W-2 we’re paying taxes and to lie about pay after working a double or a 12hr shift will result in a law suit and labor broad for further investigation. This agency think we’re dumb ppl. Wake and count your pay and rate and times it by 1.5 and you’ll see your real rate and what they are keeping out of your money..Version: 1.6

App needs some workThe filter for job listings does not function. When you select “RN” it shows you’ve applied the filter but then lists CNA and LPN jobs. Also, within a 50 mile radius there are only two work places that have opportunities? Regretting giving my info (“applying”) to this per diem company. Also, there is no visible place to email an administrator (only lists a 1-800 number) which is why I instead wrote this review so someone with the company can see it and hopefully make improvements. Nice concept in theory and the same-day pay is intriguing, but literally no options for me to pick up that I can see. Yet they have all of my info so I’m sure to receive email and text “offers” from them soon enough, I guess..Version: 1.6

Terrible experienceIf I could give this service a 0 star I absolutely would, ChatGPT If I could give this app 0 stars I would. because my experience with Medshift has been nothing short of a nightmare. From the moment I signed up, I was hopeful that this app would provide a convenient way for healthcare workers like myself to book shifts at various facilities. Unfortunately, it has been a complete disaster. One of the major issues I encountered with Medshift was their complete lack of accountability. They had the audacity to claim that I didn't actually work a shift that I had booked through their app. This was not only insulting but also completely untrue. I had to jump through hoops to provide evidence of my presence and hours worked, only to be met with indifference from their customer service team. They have still yet to pay me for that shift. Speaking of customer service, it was virtually nonexistent. The so-called "support" provided by Medshift was nothing more than a black hole of frustration. I attempted to contact them multiple times through their designated phone line, but to no avail. It seemed as though their phone line was conveniently always busy or simply ignored my calls. It's infuriating to think that a service that relies so heavily on communication would have such abysmal customer support..Version: 1.6

Horrible communication!!!!The only reason why I’m giving them 1 star is because I can’t give 0 star. The process of starting to work with this company is a real headache. The representative was I had was just horrible. I had issues uploading some documents and there’s absolutely no number to call so I can get some guidance, instead there’s a chat box that shows that someone is active but they don’t respond in a timely manner. I ask questions and I get one response which is not sufficient and not helpful to my question. It’s like they are short staffed and are limited to answering only one question. Then you have to sign up to schedule a call which almost never happens. If you are going to sign up to work for this company BE SURE TO UNDERSTAND EVERY SINGLE THING!!! Because if you are looking for their assistance you will never get it. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone just imagine how it is when you actually start working. Illegal and Disorganized1. ShiftMed refuses to pay for basic pre-screening like TB tests they and the facilities require which is by OSHA regulation illegal. 2. Awful communication: you will interact with several different people within the same day and have to start the conversation over with every single person. No one makes an effort to understand you and even when they finally do their job like reach out to facilities etc; they do not follow up. 3. No one knows how to do their job. There’s a level of redundancy within this company that is mind boggling. The only thing they’re successful at is reaching out to pedantically stay on top of you to do stuff *for them*, without assistance, without compensation, and regardless of what you’ve already informed them you’re working on they will send you the same basic message to repeat things you’ve already done. 4. You can level with them and try to keep them updated and they will gaslight you, telling you how wrong you are even though you are just relaying the information you have..Version: 1.7

Believe the negative reviews! Stay away!If I could give no stars I will. I’ve never had a problem with any other agency as far as being paid. Every time I pick up a shift it’s something different with them. When I first started my pay for the day was 356 they “let me” take down half of the money I worked my behind off for and kept the other half and claimed it was taxes….never filled out tax forms. When I asked about this I was told they filled them out for me. Explain??? No one could. So I stopped using them for a couple of months. Unfortunately I had to go back for a few shifts because their locations are closer. Now I just did a shift and surprise they’re playing with my check again claiming that my bank account isn’t verified (which it is, it even shows up in the app ADL’s verified). BELIEVE THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS AGENCY!.Version: 1.4.0

Ok I guessI saw an add for this and got excited! Back in the day I was always sign up with one or two agencies that I would do per diem work with. It seems like the push is all long term contracts now. The way they describe this company sounds just like that. However, there are really only shifts available (in my area at least) for long term care. I do ICU/trauma. And the pay is less than I make at my staff job. If they get more facilities to sign on it could be very promising, until then, for me at least, it is unusable.Version: 1.6

Only recommend if your bored and just need something to doI am HIGHLY disappointed in this app, I can’t speak much for nurses but I know as a CNA working in Florida there’s very little shifts available. Also, due to the fact that most facilities have their own in-house agencies as well, if you try to schedule your shifts in advance it will get canceled. There has been multiple times where I’ve driven to multiple cities only for my shift to get canceled an hour before the shift starts. The shifts that are more likely guaranteed are weekend shifts (Fri,Sat,Sun) when facilities are the most short staffed. Would recommend this app if you’re bored and just looking for something to do not to actually try and make a living.Version: 1.6

Support is terrible.I’ve been working with agency for some years now, and shiftmed by far has the worse customer support, that alone makes me want to quit and not look back. 3rd party handles your payments and shiftmed have no control over if anything happens to your payments. You’ll be waiting on hold for 45 minutes to an hour just to get help clocking into your shift. Shift med messaging is useless, idk why it’s even an option to contact support when they’ve never helped me. Always told me to call their customer support number. There are better choices out there. Shift Med is not to badShift Med is actually some what easier than I thought it would be picking up shifts is pretty simple… they send reminders so u won’t forget your shifts the only thing I don’t like is that the fact that if u accidentally click the wrong shift it’s considered a call out and it can negatively affect you picking up shifts even if u catch the mistake 2 minutes after realizing and contact them to correct the problem .. The worstShiftMed customer service is located in the Philippines imagine having an issue with payroll and not being able to talk to the person actually handling your payroll imagine sending an email and not being able to speak to the person via email that’s handling your payroll. Everything is rerouted to the Philippines. You cannot get a actual ShiftMed employee, it goes to a customer service center. That is no help and you’re just stuck in limbo for something that just could’ve easily been handled. Had you been able to speak to an actual person in the United States that works for the company?.Version: 1.7

CnaIf I could rate this app it’ll be -0 stars they don’t care nothing about the employees they run with whatever the facilities tell them they don’t care if you sick in the hospital !! They don’t care to pay you when you worked hard at nasty dirty rude facilities they send you places they know are horrible and when you say something about it they don’t care it’s no hero pay they want you to work with Covid patients at facilities that don’t even provide I-95s and they only pay $20 a hour the on call staff is very rude, unprofessional, and don’t care about ! Nicole BerryIf you live in the Wisconsin Milwaukee area, they pay rate is weak for CNA after taxes is junk change don’t even bother signing up for this app it’s trash. I barely work for them and they let me go because I chose to go for other apps that pay way more, the places they send you to is also trash, nurses disrespect you reported to them they do nothing about it they don’t mediate and if you dare speak up for yourself and let the nurses know about themselves, you’ll get penalized and Dnr it’s not worth it. Please do not sign it for this app sign up for other apps. Such as give out, bonus shifts for May to pay up to $23-$30 an hour do research don’t settle for less and definitely don’t settle for this piece of crap.Version: 1.7

Nice pickup, terrible payShiftmed was a nice start off for me, but after working for several weeks I find it odd how much of your money they take out for taxes. I knew my first pay out seemed odd but even after reaching out to the company they claimed it was taxes… but they take the same amount of taxes out whether you work a 14 hour week or a 40. Very disappointing!! Pros: easy apply, quick start to work, cons: the 20/hr pay means nothing if you aren’t going to get what you worked HARD for!.Version: 1.5.3

Honest ReviewSo let’s get to the point, Shiftmed is misleading. For example, I work a shift that was grossed $226. I did next day pay and I received 50% of my earnings and my net pay was $113 that’s it. On pay day which is a Friday, I did not receive any additional funds from that shift. So in conclusion, your gross pay is reduced 50% if you do next day pay. It’s not worth it because at this point you are working for peanuts. I pick up three shifts from the same facility and this facility canceled all of my shifts. However, on other apps like Intelycare, the app told me this specific facility I pick up at as high cancellations. I think this is important information shiftmed should feature on their app. Another thing that should be added are reviews from professional workers that have work at facilities. In conclusion, I will not be picking up shifts on shift med..Version: 1.5.2

A COMPLETE JOKEI would give zero stars if I could. Myself like others are looking to work agency, as it’s flexible and less stress. I am stressed just trying to complete my onboarding. You have to pay everything out of pocket, which most of us do not have extra funds. I did a screening for another job that the facility paid for and they gave me access to my medical records, so I submitted that to ShiftMed to give them a try. I have been going back and forth since August to be able to pick up shifts and it’s a run around. They say everything is complete then turn around saying I need to submit more documents, I just keep resubmitting the same information than get ran through agent. I had created my account years ago as a new CNA, but was not comfortable giving this a try. My certification in the system is expired and they fail to update it to my current certification, than give me a ring around that I am no longer certified which is false. This has been more of a hassle than anything. Three months to complete onboarding and it’s still a run around when I have provided all the necessary information. This company is disorganized and a joke for the patients that need care..Version: 1.7

Not worth the payI’ve been using ShiftMed for 2 to 3 years now it started out good because the pay was worth it and now they just give you highest is 22 and those are rare shifts. it says claim your shift for that holiday pay. It’s not even a holiday pay it’s still the same thing. some of the facilities you get sent to they’re clean good staff ratio. others are the worst. App still has bugsThe app is good, however, despite the updates, you guys still have yet to fix the bug regarding the faq questions. Everytime I tap on a faq question, the page comes up clear with no article and alot of times I have to go through the task of going on my browser when I should just be able to look up commonly asked questions in the app so I can get answers quicker. Customer supportI just downloaded the app and went through the process of Registering. Right now I am still waiting for my background check to be verified. The online part of it is a smooth transition however where is the customer support? There are NO live representatives, no customer support. There is a bot computer that is not much help and for healthcare you need someone to contact for issues or even emergency issues. I’m not sure If I will continue because of this..Version: 1.4.0

Ridiculous!I downloaded this app because I work for 2 other agencies at the moment. I start to upload the required credentials and it tells me I need to get the MMR vaccine. (Just like that; MMR) I go and get the first shot, upload the proof and it gets rejected because the paper does NOT say “Measles, Mumps and Rubella” so I go get the second shot when my DOCTOR told me to, he wrote in “Measles, Mumps and Rubella” and they reject it because it wasn’t 28 days in between each vaccine. In the state I live in, only children have to wait 28 days in between. So now I’ve gotten a vaccine I never would have gotten and it was for nothing!.Version: 1.6

If I could give this app no stars I wouldThis company is terrible to get signed up with, the process is extremely long. There is no communication whatsoever. You have to be on top of them in regards to documents being rejected. My background took 2 weeks to come back, even though I have absolutely no criminal record. The customer service representatives act like you’re bothering them every time you call and they refuse to look into things for you, they just give you the run around, it’s extremely frustrating. I’ve had an easier time applying straight through the facility than through this app. If I were you I would sign up through an actual travel agency there’s so many out there, just stay off this app if you can..Version: 1.6
