Stellarium Mobile - Star Map for Positive User Reviews

Oh No, Ross and Carrie! podcastThese guys recommend this app.Version: 1.9.6

GooodI love this app.Version: 1.7.1

I haven’t bothered with othersIdk how good any others are but this is perfect . We can look at our feet and see what’s on the other side of the Earth. Very helpful. As far as I can tel pretty much exactly spot on. Thanks so very much.Version: 1.10.2

Nice app but no AR camera viewThis is a beautiful app but there is no option to view the stars and constellations through my phone’s camera using AR. I thought this was a feature when I was looking at the pictures but it’s not. The graphics shown come with the app itself rather than being filmed from a phone camera, so the scenery stays the same. There’s no AR used, just beautiful graphics within the app..Version: 1.7.6

Most impressed. For a freebie it’s quite informative and easy to use. Real time tracking, and the option of having favourites to quickly locate is a bonus..Version: 1.9.7

Worth itIt’s a lot to fork out. However this app is very rich in features and you can tell the developers actually care about their software. I enjoy looking for starlink satellites that orbit our night sky. Thanks devs for the continuous support for this app..Version: 1.5.2

DisappointedI just paid 9.99 So that me and my five-year-old son may identify planets in the early morning Sky. Wondering why the moon was not where it was supposed to be in the sky after I spent some time looking around, I found it in the completely opposite direction, under the ground It Took some time to realize I had to manually change the time as it defaults to the night sky. We’re looking at it during the day however you cannot visualize the labels very clearly by the stellar bodies because the background sky is too bright and the labels are too light. Please fix this!.Version: 1.5.4

Perfect for a serious userI rarely write reviews, but I will for this app. In fact, I think this is my first. In this app I finally found the pocket star atlas I’ve been looking for. Not too heavy on eye candy, and instead full of features I need for observation sessions, well thought-out right at your fingertips. Coordinate grid, both equatorial and alt-az. Ability to zoom in and tweak the maximum displayed magnitude to match what’s in the eyepiece. A very nice daily summary of observable planets and satellites. Easy to pull up object coordinates. Activating the live view mode by tilting the phone app is ingenious. Six stars out of five..Version: 1.5.2

Amazing app! This is an amazing app for a serious amateur astronomer. it’s what I have been looking for. Most of the astronomy apps out there are very simple and not for serious observation. It’s filled with great tools to plan or review an observation night, or as a field guide to help you find objects. It can also be used by casual observers to point up and see what’s there..Version: 1.7.0

Great appThis seems to be the best app for Astro viewing on the App Store. Sleek and no filler. However I would like to see some features: - 12 hour time toggle - option to show star/object trajectory when selected - lower price. I love there is a free version with no ads. But a slight decrease in price would be perfect (I plan to steer k12 students in my school district to this, it would be great to have pro features like “when to observe” available to them..Version: 1.9.7

I love thisReally simple and intuitive, helping me to learn the basics like where to look for Jupiter.Version: 1.10.3

Good app. Just a few improvements to make it amazingLove having as much detail as possible shown. So much it can be overwhelming to start. Ability to use find features to help navigate with telescope is good. Fonts of planets are an issue during the day. Hard to see where they are. Also would be nice to have a summary of upcoming major events or best viewing days of certain objects. Otherwise a good app..Version: 1.6.4

Mr AGreat app perfect for setting up target.Version: 1.5.4

Good to know the stars keep shiningSee title above.Version: 1.11.1

Blown awayI can’t believe something so useful is free on the App Store without throwing in-app purchases in my face. Now I can show my daughter where the planets and constellations are in the sky and be sure I’m right about which one I’m pointing to. Good on whoever made this. Couldn’t ask for better..Version: 1.10.3

ComplementThis is amazing.Version: 1.10.4

AmazingAmazing.Version: 1.10.4

Great appThis app works amazing for Milky Way photography.Version: 1.11.2

White Bear 44Simply Awesome :).Version: 1.10.3

Plus is Nice but Standard Version is FineI'm a big fan of Stellarium. I just purchased the "plus" version for my iPad. For my use the changes from the standard mobile version are not so impressive as to warrant the increased price. Unless you have a very good reason to want this "plus" version you should just buy the standard version..Version: 1.3.2

App vraiment complète!Vraiment une app complète avec énormément d’objets du ciel de plusieurs catalogues! :))).Version: 1.2.10

Really helpful and informative!Love this app, worth the upgrade price and then some. I am new to astronomy and frankly need all the help I can get. This app has helped me learn to identify the major constellations and planets. I am trying to learn to photograph the night sky (a challenge all of its own) and at least knowing what I’m looking at is a big help. Thank you for this really detailed tool..Version: 1.10.3

AmazingWow. The night sky explained. I’m speechless..Version: 1.5.4

Highly recommendMost likely the best free star app on the market, with amazing added content for people who want more. But still the free version is more than enough for any curious armature..Version: 1.10.4

Clear and intuitiveEasy to use, complete and intuitive.Version: 1.4.2

Amazing! And so accurate!Amazing app! I downloaded it to help find the green comet that went by and despite not seeing it, I did see everything the map showed! 10/10 would recommend it tot anyone looking to find some constellations! Best app out there!!!.Version: 1.11.1

Pour une 1 ère foisÉtudier les étoiles avec cette application de l aide du cel c est la première fois.Version: 1.9.7

Review about StellarumThis app is really realistic and the fact you can change the culture of the stars! My fav thing about this is that you can change the locations. Even tough antártica is just day at its southern point and Greenland at its northern point! Space people should download this app if the don’t have a computer!.Version: 1.11.1

Gateway to the starsThis is the most intuitive and immediate way of getting even the mildly interested in the night sky..Version: 1.10.2

Nice appNice app, Though not perfect.Version: 1.9.7

I L@ve it $$$L.o.v.e. I.t.Version: 1.5.4

Love this app!!Honestly best purchase I’ve made on an app to date 100%! Super cool and gets the imagination going! 👽.Version: 1.11.1

Star struckFantastic app. Good functionality, really intuitive and above all very interesting to identify those saucy planetary bods..Version: 1.9.7

Great customer service!I had a problem today with not seeing the alert for the ISS flyover in the observe feature of the app. I sent an email to the “help and feedback” link. Within an hour the developers got back to me. A few hours later they replied and suggested I delete and reinstall. Problem solved! All on a weekend! Really excellent customer service!!!.Version: 1.6.5

AmazingSo much to learn!!.Version: 1.6.4

How can i do thisHow can i see different areas like with light pollution.Version: 1.11.2

The Number One Astro AppVery useful - adaptable, scalable, searchable, informative & user friendly 👍🏻👌🏻.Version: 1.5.4

Great app!!!I am very impressed with Stelarium. It shows the sky from any location and it is very accurate. You have the option to superimpose constellation diagrams to help identify them while looking at an up to date image of your sky. It really genius and I would recommend it for anyone interested in the sky above which is probably everyone..Version: 1.9.7

❤️🫵🖤Tropic Of Capricious.Version: 1.11.1

A great alternativeYou will easily get lost in the beauty of this app and everything it does, one might wish for notifications of certain events (like the ISS being visible, or certain stars and constellations rising, things like that.) but otherwise this is a great app..Version: 1.7.6

Easy peaseyStellarium has many added bonus features and has helped me navigate the heaven’s exploring not only the solar system but the nebula’s and every where in between. Would recommend to anyone.Version: 1.9.6

I’m new, but it’s goodSimple choices have significant usefulness: if you close it in (all red) night mode, it opens in night mode; if you search for a celestial body, it gives you information and gently leads you to it with a big arrow. I’m very pleased. It’s great how much good you can get (sometimes) in inexpensive apps..Version: 1.6.4

Star GazerThese developers deserve some genuine recognition for this application. Powerful software and extremely smooth..Version: 1.9.7

Needs some fixesThis is a very good star viewing app. I have enjoyed the short period of time I have been using it. I did notice however, and I find it fairly annoying, is that you can only see one constellations at a time. If you could fix this I would rate it 4 and a half because there are a few bugs. Sometimes I can’t move the stars with my trackpad or my arrow keys…. I can also lift up my iPad and look around and see the stars but some other times it will lag out and kick me out of the app. If it didn’t have these I would rate it 5 stars! Thank you for creating such an app for mobile devices. :D.Version: 1.10.4

The best Astronomy appDoes exactly what it says on the tin. I’ve tried a few and this is by far the best. It just works..Version: 1.10.1

Great appI got it to show the kids how the sky should look, but now we use it constantly to see what’s going on and understand how the stars and constellations move. Such a good app.Version: 1.9.7

This app replicates the Desktop Stellarium very well!I have been a loyal user of Stellarium since 2007 when it was distributed on CDs among my high school friends back then. I instantly fall in love with the app, it is truly of help when I try to identify sky objects and looking for eclipses. Now with Stellarium Mobile in my hand, it is simply a desktop Stellarium brought to you into iPhone. This app is as wonderful as the one on desktop! Great job!.Version: 1.10.4

Outstanding Astro ApplicationStellarium is by far the best general purpose astronomy application for iPhone. It is really cool, going out with binoculars and identifying various stars, star clusters and nebulae. We travel extensively between the northern and Southern Hemispheres. I’m looking forward to going back to the temperate south in a couple weeks to use it to locate the southern star clusters and Milky Whey features. While the paid version brings many more stars, Stellarium does not big down, allaying previous concerns. I again look forward to the rapid location of the Magellanic clouds, omega Centauri &c..Version: 1.11.2

Great appIntuitive, informative, fun..Version: 1.7.6

Compass actually worksBro, easy to use, don’t really need the paid version unless you want to hook up with an electric telescope, but if you’re just looking through your telescope it’s actually very easy to locate things with. The compass itself works very well and the couple times it wasn’t exact, it was only off by a few degrees. The only real thing the plus upgrade will get you is more info about the object and a deep space pic Hoped this helped.Version: 1.12.0

Loving Your AppI find your app very interesting. Been learning a lot. I have about 5 friends that live at the apartment complex where I live and almost every night we are out using your app. Thank you so much.Version: 1.9.7

Why isn’t all software like this?Intuitive to use. So many features you can find by just exploring the screen. A nice complement to the PC version. I love it!.Version: 1.4.2

Happy that there’s no subscriptionWell priced for one off. Love the easy interface and reading about the different objects in the sky. Only problem is every now and then my “favourites” list disappears and have to fav all of my preferred ones again..Version: 1.9.0

ReviewGenerally my favourite star finder, but now has serious problems with the polar calibration (rolling the ball around the circle). On my iPad Can’t use the app anymore Will try reload it.Version: 1.8.1

Can't find ApophisApophis. I can find it in the old app..I just paid a tenner for less than I had before..Version: 1.4.2

Love it!Find Betelgeuse for yourself. The Pleiades,. Why is Capella so bright. Where is the ecliptic? Immerse yourself in your might sly. Join a community that is in the Creative Commons, open source. You and your night sky..Version: 1.5.4

Great AppLove that there are more First Nations star charts becoming more prevalent. In time it would great to see this in the app for Australia’s First Nations peoples also.Version: 1.7.6

My favourite astronomy appI have several of the top-rated astronomy apps, but Stellarium is by far my favourite. Its display of the stars is the closest to what I see in the sky. When I’m in the city, I have it set to only show the stars that are likely to be visible there. Its automatic view of what the phone is pointed at is more reliable than any of my other apps..Version: 1.12.0

Great appThis is the best of all apps of it’s kind, simple settings, nice views, very customizable, great landscaping, very informative. I just wish the labels of Neptune, Pluto and the asteroids to be visible without having to zoom in too much, so I can see their positions on the map. If I zoom in too much, this makes me miss some of them if they’re further away from the ecliptic line and I also lose the whole picture of the sky, so this just bothers me a bit. The label line in the settings is all the way up for the Solar System and yet, I can never spot these bodies without having to dive in deep enough. Plz make, at least our planets, visible at all zooming levels..Version: 1.10.2

Incredible, but…Truly the most capable star tracking application, in my opinion. Although, It is lacking the ability to quickly access the Wikipedia page of the object in question. Even the ability to use the iPhone feature to ‘look up’ would be extremely helpful. Also, it would be wonderful to include a feature for observing local cloud coverage, etc, as it would allow me to avoid using three separate applications. In conclusion, I do believe that this application would benefit greatly from the modernisation of it’s software, and add some more helpful features, or at perhaps a link to such. The interface, although quite dated, works excellently, but it is frustrating to have to switch between ‘Night Sky X’, and ‘Sky Guide’ for the sake of their forecasts and astronomical articles. Other than that, it is genuinely like possessing a private observatory, in your pocket, and is a necessity for serious astronomers, as well as those with just a casual interest!.Version: 1.9.7

More info for objects would be really nice.I like the interface overhaul for this update. But I would really like to have the same amount of info for every object, such as B-V index, absolute magnitude, visual magnitude etc, like we do on the desktop version of Stellarium. Overall, it’s an great app..Version: 1.3.2

Great appGreat app it is cool to see the planets up close I wish that it could have a thing where it shows what it's like to stand on it and if you could also zoom in close to stars and galaxies but it is great..Version: 1.12.0

Version: 1.11.2

ExcellentAn excellent app to replace lots of paper , good info embedded.Version: 1.7.3

Excellent customer support, beautiful interfaceI have revised my review to reflect the really good customer support given by the folks at Stellarium. I have no hesitation in recommending this app - the interface is so unobtrusive, intuitive and functional. All things considered, and in the light of such very rapid and thorough customer support, this is an excellent value app. All in all, a first-class user experience..Version: 1.7.6

Great appVery good app to get to know about the sky, however how do we change from Sidereal to Tropical? Because the moon constellations are not in sync with the tropical zodiac softwares that uses the tropical system..Version: 1.12.0

WW app.Version: 1.10.4

Starmazing!Best app out there! I have my stars always in my pocket..Version: 1.6.2

Worth it, don’t second guess yourself on this app! This app is so well put together, everything from the location tracking to the AR abilities, this has it all and in perfect format! As an astronomer and astrophotographer, this app helped me during my beginnings and to this day I still use it! Keep up the good work devs! Clear skies! -DJ.Version: 1.11.1

Excellent appI am more than excited to have found this app and use it currently to help my astrology practice, but I would really like if we could also go back in time on the calendar to confirm planet star placements.Version: 1.12.0

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️10/10 best stargazing app i’ve ever seen. no ads, free, no subscriptions. if you’ve got a telescope hanging around then jump on this app now.Version: 1.11.2

Bob T….de loin la meilleure App pour le ciel….!!!!.Version: 1.9.7

The best out thereIf you’re looking for a clean and intuitive interface, Stellarium has it. It’s a very simple yet powerful tool and I look forward to getting more use out of it..Version: 1.9.0

Big problem !!! Urgent !!!For some reasons, there are a lot of deep sky objects in this app are missing their corresponding annotations that tells the users the name of the objects and what types of objects they are. Such as the Caldwell 46, aka the Hubble’s variable nebula, nothing pops up when I type C46 in the search bar, but the object is clearly there on the map in the constellation of Monoceros, same goes for many Abell planetary nebulae. Mind fixing this problem , Please ?.Version: 1.11.2

If field of view function can be addedI have been using Stellarium for a year now. Everything is good and the software is stable. If field of view calculation can be added to the app that would be good. (Just like the desktop one, with sensor size and telescope focal length) so we can frame the target on the mobile easily. Thanks.Version: 1.7.6

Great AppI accidentally purchased the plus version, rather than the standard. I’m not sure if the plus features are anything I’ll ever use, but I honestly don’t even care. To have an app as complete as this at my finger tips... priceless..Version: 1.3.2

BeautifulThis app simply blows me away, i always adored the night time sky, not only does this help me identify the constellations in the sky but the menus and everything are super user friendly, its not overpriced subscription and it genuinely seems the makers of this app wanted to make a friendly, good star gazing app. My first choice and ive shared this app with many others.Version: 1.12.0

This is the best stargazing appI have owned and used several apps as a telescope companion for stargazing. This is the best. Especially on iPad with night mode on. It can be used as a star chart and not just as an AR app..Version: 1.8.1

Excellent for visual astronomyThis app is a key tool in my arsenal. It’s incredible detail blows away any other app as every object is exactly where it should be compared to what you see through the eye piece. Add this in with the ‘circle’ feature, which allows you to see what you will see with your eye piece, it makes for easy star hopping to otherwise difficult to find targets. (Much cheaper and more rewarding than a go to scope). Definitely recommend. The app has lots of useful features and thousands of objects. Type in an obscure comet and the likelihood is that it is logged on this app..Version: 1.7.6

Great app, but please add camera support!Wonderful app for stargazing! I love the search function and just how detailed the starmap is, but there’s only one thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars: the lack of camera support! It would be awesome if instead of the basic horizon/atmosphere layers we could instead turn on the camera and see the star locations overlayed on top of it in real time. Would make it easier to tell what objects are visible or obscured and orient yourself properly!.Version: 1.10.4

Chiron Never Looked So GoodWow. This is by far the best Astronomy tool I have used in a long time! The alternative apps I have used have not matched up compared to this one. It has very smooth graphics, it’s beautiful, and by far the best perk: you can move the phone to uncover what the sky looked like when you were born! I also purchased this Pro because 22 magnitude objects are included and I wanted to see Chiron (at about 16m) the standard only showing 10 magnitude..Version: 1.3.2

Amazing appIt may cost more than other apps out there but this is worth every penny. I’ve tried other apps and they are either very limited or they don’t show you the star names correctly..Version: 1.8.1

I like this app!I’ve turned off several settings that makes it easier to see where I am looking, but I love how you can turn on the names of stars and other things in the sky and they are tied to regional folklore and back stories..Version: 1.12.3

Doesn’t work most of the timeEvery other time I open the app it doesn’t work like it just stops moving pretty much freezes up.Version: 1.11.2

Really intuitiveGreat app. Much easier to use than other apps. Maybe fewer features, but the ones you want. Type in a search object, shows you where to point, what time it’ll rise and set and info about it. As a newbie, confused by other less intuitive apps, this one is great..Version: 1.6.4

Fantastic softwareDidn’t expect to be getting such a smooth, well designed and powerful app. Exceeded my expectations by a mile..Version: 1.6.2

ExcellentWell worth buying for the full range of features. For me, it is particularly worth every penny for the information provided, and being able to point and see the labelled view of the stars. It complements the Windows version, and yet stands alone in its own right. The fee goes to help fund further development of Stellarium. A planetarium in the palm of your hand. J..Version: 1.10.4

Wonderfull appWonderfull app.Version: 1.12.0

Best investment.Lovly app.Version: 1.8.8

BEST APP EVER!If your a star gazer and just love space and wanna see the millions and I mean MILLIONS of galaxies like ours and learn about constellations, then buy this app. It is WORTH THE MONEY! Been on it for hours now and probably will be on it for many many more. I give it 5 stars TWICE and then 5 more!.Version: 1.5.4

Stella stellar views.Where I live (town pop. 25k) the light pollution is horrendous. This app gives me opportunities to see night sky objects normally invisible to me. The brightest objects are now easily identifiable..Version: 1.9.7

The bestForget the rest , this is the app for astronomy.Version: 1.5.4

Review.Used this on my PC for so many years and have recommended it to so many, never realised you had an app. Absolutely love it.. So wish I had discovered it earlier...Version: 1.9.7

Stargazing at its best! This is the first time I have ever left a review for an app because I absolutely love this and want everyone to know how great it is!!! Always looking up and now I know what I’m looking at on such a grand scale. Thank you!.Version: 1.11.1

WowI am loving this app. So excited. Amazing.Version: 1.9.7

BrilliantI didn’t think the earlier version of Stellarium could be surpassed - I was wrong! The update is totally brilliant. Thank you for improving my life and showing me the stars..Version: 1.8.7

Best star appI use this app almost nightly. I use it to advise me of astronomical occasions, date forward and back for planning astro trips and keeping track of what I have observed. I use it to teach me the night sky: point to things I don’t recognise, and learn info about stars and galaxies..Version: 1.11.1

My opinion(s) on Stellarium ! ❤️Stellarium is so cool , it’s especially fun , it made me want to be an astronaut now and Stellarium is by far the best app ever to be honest but of course only in my opinion . Stellarium is a good app for children actually and it’s very satisfying especially to see what all planets , stars , and others look like close up ! It’s totally free and easy to install , I recommend Stellarium . #best app so far !.Version: 1.10.4

Benchmark star appTheir desktop version is wayyy better to learn with, but the mobile is 100% worth a nominal price for using. So easy to set, and so many settings to mess with (change time, place, “live view” vs seeking, show planets/grids/deep space stuff..)..Version: 1.9.6

NovaFor a medium priced app, it does everything it’s designed for and delivers a bit more. Having been a amateur astronomer for 20 years l have seen higher priced apps not deliver half of what this does. To the designers, thank you you’ve done a great job.Version: 1.4.2

Fantastic astronomy app!Absolutely stunning night sky app! Had Stellarium since 2020 and I still really like it, very much! 😃 If there was 1 feature I would like to be added to the application, that would be the ability to get notified of: any upcoming Astronomical events (E.g. conjunctions, moon phases etc), any planets, moon, sun rises and sets, and satellite passes.. especially the ISS. But overall I recommend getting this app if you want a simple but stunning night sky app 👍.Version: 1.9.1

TomThe best app for astronomy . Simple features for free version. Enough for amateur using.Version: 1.9.7

Cool App, Orbits OffThis is a cool app and has alot of feature but the orbits and timing seem to be off with tracking fast moving objects. I tried to follow the international space station and every time I try to track it, it starts in the same place so I can’t tell where it is in real time..Version: 1.11.2

A bit of a gripeThis gripe is not about the software it self but the sales policies. I purchased it from the Playstore for £7.99 or thereabouts to allow me to use on my tv. Then to be able to use the same software on my lPad I had to pay Apple £13.99. Why should I have to pay twice for the use of the same piece of software as I am not buying the program but only the use of it. Further why such a large disparity in the cost!!! As far as Stellarium is concerned it is an excellent piece of software just not enough easy to access options but brilliant. The computer version has more add-ons giving options some of which I tend to use a lot. The main virtue of the computer version is that it is FREE!.Version: 1.0.10

Just so cool but also badWhen we zoom in see real photos of stars but I can’t zoom in to comets I need more zoom in and I need 3d Solar system idk how to do that it so hard but the sun is so bad when zoom in and moon no mountains and creators on moon when zoom in and it is a problem.Version: 1.8.5

Stellarium proFirst off what an awesome app for the price. I’ve had the non pro one for a couple of years now and brought the pro a few weeks ago.. mainly for seeing what’s in the night sky and for framing my target. Extremely happy with this app..Version: 1.3.2

Glenn’s reviewI never cease to be fascinated by the versatility and depth of detail in this fantastic app. Friends and family I show it to are equally impressed. One problem I found is navigation of its features is a bit cumbersome at first. Thank you and good luck with future updates. Regards Glenn Read. Digger Billion Squags.Version: 1.9.6

Great astronomy appFor the first time I can now identify the lights that I see in the night sky..Version: 1.11.2

Starlaruim reviewThis app it very good for tracking planets and constellations five stars.Version: 1.9.6

One small problemIt’s an amazing app, but recently I’ve been having calibration problems with the compass in the app where it shows the stars in the opposite direction in where my phone is pointing. Other than that I love this app so much!.Version: 1.11.1

Missing a few key items.Nice to search and adjust time into future. Doesn’t overlay a live view though, just a few’landscapes’. And downloaded to iPhone but not iPad and support hasn’t responded. Update: they did respond and it did finally download. Plus one more star..Version: 1.5.0

Great App! Clean InterfaceSuper easy to use and great app. I splurged for the pro but honestly do see much difference from the normal version. It would be great to have a toggle for deep sky objects. I know I can search them but a way to toggle them on/off on the display would be awesome. Also I was hoping the app might have a screen like recommended tonight for your location but it didn’t have one. Like Jupiter right now in June/July is closest to earth. Overall great app. I look forward to their future improvements and will be using this app for sure..Version: 1.4.2

Totally freeeeThis app is the best when I click on a star it tells you everything. I has learn so much it show satellites rockets and rockets body parts and tells you the name. There everything you can think of like star clusters and nebula. I has just started using the telescope and I learn much more than I would have before. I wonder what the upgraded version is?.Version: 1.12.0

The appThis app is so cool.Version: 1.10.4

Techgnosis been aroundSo they slaughtered all people then had ww1 we2 and created this system we can be enlightened and grounded Each is free but only in that enviro none of us would stray this thwartion is creating disorder Lack of common knowledge is destroying everything.Version: 1.10.4

Nice, but…Over a billion stars and no procyon b? what’s up with that? this is a very useful app, but i wish there was a way to search by the gaiadr2 number. yes, a person can go to the gaia archive website and search the source_id, but after converting the ra and dec decimal degrees, the resulting coordinates one gets are way off when entering them in the stellarium app. it took me forever to find kepler-442…had to use the aid of the desktop version. thank you to the developer for the reply. any chance that exoplanets could be added in the future, with the ability to type their name in the search bar, similar to the desktop version?.Version: 1.8.1

Worth the moneyAnyone looking for an app for sky viewing, and wondering if this one is worth the cost, it is. If you’re thinking of downloading similar apps that go for 3.99, don’t, by the time you’re done buying all the in app things to actually use it, you’ll have spent double this amount and gotten something of a much lower quality . . It’s the most I’ve ever paid for an app, and I’m more than happy with it. Kudos to the developers..Version: 1.5.4

Thank you to the genius team who created this appThis app is exactly what I need to keep learning about our universe and our place in it. It helps me situate myself within the planetary solar system and beyond. Thanks!.Version: 1.12.0

Almost perfectI really love this app and I think it works really well. There’s so much information and it’s super easy to use. The reason I can’t give it 5 stars is because it’s missing lots of features that exist on the free PC version like being able to track the ephemeris of a planet. I do understand that it’s parred down probably to make it run smoother and because the average person doesn’t use all that stuff. However for the price I was hoping for the same features. All said, I’m glad to have a smaller app with less features that works well over a clunky bugged up app with all the features from the PC version..Version: 1.6.0

Great app for star gazersWhen I was a child, I always wished I could tell the names of the stars. So I collected star charts from books and tried to identify the stars from the paper charts. However it often not that easy to identify the large number of stars, except for those obvious ones. Stellarium is a new era of star chart. Its interactive nature was of great help for star gazers. I would recommend this app for anyone who has an interest in the stars..Version: 1.10.4

Very good appIve been using stelarrium for about a year on my computer and recently on my phone, its very good and helpful and has helped me find ZTF, my only problem is that the moons highlands and way too bright to see any detail, there is no setting to change this.Version: 1.10.3

The Best, No QuestionI’ve used a lot of different star map apps. This one is without a doubt the best, hands down, no contest. Great intuitive usability, reliability and information architecture is awesome, and the depth of features is astounding. I’m an amateur astronomer, so I use and rely on many of the more technical, numerical features. But my partner enjoys it just as much, and she simply loves stargazing and doesn’t have a need for the mathy stuff. I’m also a software engineer by trade, and if I were a developer of this app, I would be extremely proud of myself and my team. A+..Version: 1.6.4

Good 😊!This app is amazing! Even without the paid version it is so informative! If you click on a star or a planet or anything else it has a detailed description on it. You can zoom in really far and it’s really cool. And there is no ads which is great 👍 overall I would recommend this app.Version: 1.11.2

Best app everUncreadible app, great software. Amazing and great to start stargazing.Version: 1.5.2
