✓ Non-stop adsWatching ads in this app is not your choice. Ads will automatically load after you made a few selections. Literally, after each “step” you make you are forced to watch an ad. The game is super simple and unfortunately to keep up with the required life expenses versus income, you have to either gamble, play on the stock market or watch even more ads. This game is just one wasteful ad space.Version: 2.1.20
✓ You need to spend real money to get aheadThis game forces you to spend REAL money, even after I spent money on the stock market thing it still doesn’t help. ✓ I’m honestly thinking of deleting this game!😡I’ve always loved this game and have been playing it for ages! The only problem I have is that I think there are way too many ads! When I maybe use the 500 cash boost ad I finish the ad and then I’m given another 30 second ad! I get about 10 seconds before I get another ad! I think it’s ridiculous! ✓ Waaay too many ads and unbelievable requestsHonestly the first issue I would like to address is the insane amount of ads that these developers have put in. You have to watch many 30 sec videos to get money and you definitely don’t want to watch any extra ones. I think the amount of ads is absolutely ridiculous. The second issue is the fact that the higher you get in the game the more things you have to have for each job. Eventually it gets impossible to have all those things on your salary. I tried four different characters before giving up and deleting the game. It is just absolutely impossible. I think that if the developers change those things this game could be fun.Version: 2.0.10
✓ Just stay a pizza delivery boyFun at first and it’s good that you have to balance work and career progression with education costs but by the middle rounds the next job requires criteria to unlock, the expenditure on the criteria is more then the job pays and so you go broke. Forgot education later on. If you try saving money and working the same job for a little while your character becomes increasingly unhappy- the solution? Spend money to make them happy and end in debt or get what they want and end up in dept. Only way to play is either using the salary booster available every four hours or spend real money! ✓ InterestingThe concept of the game is good but as others have said it doesn’t really make sense. The game requires you to do all these things to elevate in your career i.e. wear fancy clothes, eat certain foods, drive a particular kind of car, have a partner etc but each thing makes your expenses go up. Eventually you reach a high paid job and then have to move onto a different sector but you start from the bottom in the new sector whilst your expenses stay the same from your high paying job, instantly leaving you in debt. Why I would need to go from a high paid head chef job to a low paid entry level construction job I don’t know but that’s what the game makes you do. It doesn’t give you the option to sell anything or break up with your partner to relieve some of your expenses and there’s constant deductions in your money for silly things e.g. fines or house renovations. Who renovates when their outgoing is more than their income?? Character is always upset because they want something they can’t afford I.e. wanting to get married but can’t afford to, so your happiness is constantly decreasing and even though you’re outgoings and more than your income you have to pay to keep them happy and healthy. Not sure if it’s actually possible to win the game tbh. And the ads! I expected ads but my god! There is literally an add every 20seconds. The ads alone are making me want to delete the game..Version: 1.50
✓ Just annoyingI played this game for about 3 hrs now I just lost my car I now have to buy the new sedan I have 17 thousand and it won’t let me buy and the next job to get needs the new sedan And what also really annoys me is like when I are head chef you can keep above ur bill but then it go down to earning like 2 thousand and ur expenses are 3.5k and so u always have to try keep up and this just annoys me because u can not get to presesident because the things jobs need but wouldn’t actually need I think it would also be better if you wouldn’t have to pay for any family because you wouldn’t have to in real life.Version: 1.48
✓ Not all it’s worked up to be/ terrible gameSo I found out abt this game like everyone else on a Snapchat add or in a add in another game. I started to play this and immediately got a addicted to this game, but as a progressed throughout the game I started to notice how terrible and in realistic this game is. First of all it is impossible to beat it I understand the challenge and all but the game requires you to go into debt constantly and buy things you don’t have the money to even pay for. Each thing has a monthly payment also which makes no sense you have to pay 260 a month for clothes and 1.5k a month for your wife ???? And even more crazy prices for basic stuff How does that makes sense. For instance to get a new job that pays less than your old one you have to get a more expensive home, car, clothes, education and even upgrading your wife. The aspect of having to go into serous debt time and time again is what makes this game so hard. And the only way to get out of debt to buy in game content for watch 1 minute long videos. ✓ Impossible without paying in real lifeAt the start it was alright but as you progress through the game you have to pay more expenses than the wage the job gives. Then if you can’t pay the expenses for a better job, you gradually go back down and end up near the start. The casino doesn’t help as for you only win every 1 in 10 go’s. The exchange doesn’t help that much as for the maximum you can get is $190, when I buy or sell something the bar will go soooo high or soooo low as soon as I buy or sell meaning I lost my money. I’ve waited until it was around the same level for 2 mins. As soon as I bought something it went all the way down, I waited another 2 mins for it to go above the bar but the close it came to the bar was -$35. To keep happy and healthy you have to pay a lot too considering you won’t have any money if you want a good job. If you could improve that then the game would be good. The only way to succeed is to buy in game money using real money. Not only a little bit. A LOT, you’d have to spend over $10 to afford a wife for a year. And buying a girlfriend, fiancée, wife and family? You shouldn’t be buying them, maybe you could add more social life too and customisation. ✓ Fun game but too many ads make it laggy and boringThe game is fun and addictive but its just so tedious with all of the ads. ✓ Terrible game, don’t bother downloadingWay too many ads in this game, every time you go to do anything at all you just get another ad, the more you progress the harder it is to get ahead, you are constantly upgrading your job but need to upgrade your lifestyle along with it but that then puts you out but earning less than your expenses are costing you. Also you need a husband but that ends up costing you money per month? Does he not work also? A two income family shouldn’t be putting you in debt. You try to save money earlier on in the game and you get ahead then life “issues” happen and you’re fined and fined again and it doesn’t stop until you lose all of your money, there is no way to get ahead in this game, it is absolutely rigged, worst game I’ve played..Version: 2.0.14

✓ False advertising, poor game play- This game is DESIGNED for you to either spend money, or waste your life away on ads. Unless you make a purchase, you get a ten second ad every time you click a button... simply exiting a menu causes an ad! Also, the job levels are designed in such a way that they require your character to have greater expenses than income. Always. It’s literally impossible to have positive income, so you’re either spending real money, or clicking that “watch an ad and get $500” button constantly. - The game play is extremely linear. There are no choices... zero. You simply upgrade your expenses (junk car > used car > new car etc) and don’t have any choice in the matter. It requires you to upgrade things like having a fiancé or eating TV dinners to get the next level job, which is silly. What company requires you to be married to get the job? It would be more interesting to have family, food, housing, etc affect your health and happiness, which in turn affect your job performance. - Some of the upgrade levels are ridiculous. “Home cooked food” is apparently more expensive than “casual diner.” And you are not allowed to move back to cheaper options, even when switching career paths causes an income drop (again, 100% linear game, so “upgrading” from master chef to construction intern is not optional). ✓ Fun game, but i wish a few things were differentDon’t get me wrong, this game is really interesting and i like that it’s challenging but i feel like i can’t enjoy the game as much as i’d like to because there’s no way to customise your character outside of male/female and a name. i think a good improvement would be to change your characters skin tone, hair and eye colours and to even change their sexuality! every time i play as the same old brunette with a blonde twink boyfriend i get bored of it pretty quickly because even if i’m going up the ranks in all of my careers the fact i’m spending money on this ken doll makes me wanna break up with him. i could write about the political undertones the game has but it’s obvious this game is meant for a 12 year old boy hoping to be the next elon musk so i won’t get into the nitty gritty of that. above all, i do enjoy this game but i hope that you can consider at least an option to make your character a race other than white..Version: 2.1.22

The annoying thing is that the game is quite interesting, but every click it takes you straight to an ad, and even worse it’s the same two ads that play over and over. ✓ A Hack.There is no way of winning this game without paying actual money...or doing a date/time cheat. Almost always, your expenses are greater than your earnings. Even when they’re not, your character only earns a couple hundred a month. The problem with this is that once you reach a certain job sector, you need to have an insane amount of money in your savings to get the job. If you happen to have that money, once you accept the job, those required savings are deducted and you almost always go back to no money without turning a profit. This keeps on going for every single job until you need over a million dollars in savings to get the next job. The only way to get that kind of money in the game is either by: 1. Paying 99 USD 2. Watching thousands of ads or 3. Just skipping days on settings on your phone to collect the daily rewards (which is just bull). This game was made to be un-winnable unless you make in-app purchase. And on top of all that, why are there only white characters? And who gets a law degree, a engineering degree, a business degree, and a bunch of others all at once? The game makes no logical sense and is just a bad rip off of other tycoon games. If I could give this game 0 stars I would. ✓ Misleading and linearThere's no decision making as shown on screenshots. You have to follow a very constrained path in order to get promoted to the next job. Even after paying to remove ads you can skim certain life events (like school) by watching ads. The linearity in this game is so stupid, that in order to start the 'chef path' (which somehow is better paid than an top business manager), you need to leave your managerial job and start as a... janitor. ✓ Makes me MadI have spent the last few days playing this game and as many other reviewers have mentioned you end up spending your actual money on it. Alright, I understand that’s my choice to do. You don’t have to spend money on it if you don’t mind losing all of your hard work and time that you put into it. What makes me really mad is that I spent $7.00 usd on it and then not even 2 minutes after I spent it, my character died. The game told me I had 20+ years left of life to go and then suddenly my character dies at the age of 52. The real money that I just put into the game dies with her. You don’t get to take it into the next game with you. It just disappears. And then it shows you that she died with $94K as if to rub it in your face. That’s just wrong. First of all I shouldn’t have to spend my own money to keep my character housed, clothed and employed. Once your character gets to around 35-40 years of age, EVERYTHING starts going downhill. Doesn't matter how much you have made through investing or the casino, the developers of the game made it to where life situations that happen at that age bracket i mentioned forces you to get more expensive things that the higher up jobs cannot afford. The cost of the things required to continue your life far exceeds the jobs that you will have and be able to fund the new items. And if you decide to wait it out and try to accumulate money, your character will get overly depressed and you’ll end up spending more money than you’ll make on staying happy and healthy. ✓ MehLove the concept of the game but could use a lot of work. there's no "pick up your last option" once you get a new car/promoted/food/pet etc, you either buy money or watch enough ads to make just the BARE minimum. i'm about 5 years into the game, recently bankrupt due bills and i'm only $70 in debt and my car was sold immediately... had to watch about 5 of those 500 cash ads but when i made enough, it only lasted about a minute. i don't know how often you get charged for bills but its extremely frequent. the health & happiness bar deplete really fast and i find myself ALWAYS sitting on 20% and being tok broke to afford proper treatment.Version: 2.0.4

✓ UnplayableI often get forced popup ads 3 seconds apart which is too much for any game even if this were to be a "Triple A game" which it isn't. The character's demands are frustrating and illogical, the advertisements illustrated a game where you had more control over what you want but the character's decisions are the worst financial decisions you can possibly make; like do you really need to move out to a more expensive house and eat more expensive food every time you look for a job? And the characters want to literally try every job industry and every job from the bottom up even if it pays less. And when you have no choice but to get a lower wage while maintaining the same expenses you end up forcefully having to spend more than what you gain which is just a shrewd way to make you have to spend real money on the game or grind ads, and the characters always have something to complain about which is also frustrating. 7/10 concept 3/10 execution.Version: 2.0.10
✓ Simply not playableThe concept of the game is intriguing. The mechanics, not so much. On the technical side, the game lags like AOL 1.1 on 24k dial-up. Even on 1.5 gb wifi. It consistently crashes or requires rebooting. On top of all this, you are bombarded with crashtastic ads with every 2-3 sections of the game you try to use. This can lead to play interruptions as often as every 2-3 minutes. If you are lucky, the ads will run properly and not require 5 minutes to load, run, automatically pull up the app store, reset, then finally close... only to go through the same process 3 minutes later, then a game crash. The game play is ridiculous. The decisions made are absolutely baffling to someone who has gone through the cycle of education, work, advancing and building up a career, and continuing education for further skill acquisition and career advancement. Let’s just say, your character will make stupid decisions at a moronic pace... and never be “happy” for more than a minute or two no matter what you choose. All in all, this game is simply unplayable. This is true from both the technical and gameplay sides. It’s exceptionally disappointing. ✓ Confused With All the 5 StarsSo I never write reviews but I feel like this game is lowkey criminal. It’s fun, don’t get me wrong, I’ve played it A LOT. But once you get to the third level of jobs, you constantly have to buy more things which makes your expenses far more than your income. The only reason why it hasn’t been a major issue is because I payed the $0.99 for the $10,000 and no ads (because the ads made the game basically unplayable and I was feeling impulsive this morning). I know it’s only a game but I don’t understand why I need to eat TV dinners or have a fiancé to get a promotion. Side note I understand why having a partner would add extra expenses but it should also be a way to get more income- sis needs to pay her rent just like I do. And virtually every review says the same things as these, although I haven’t seen you respond to any of them which is tea but whatever. I don’t know how this game is rated so high since nearly all the reviews are negative. ✓ SCAMDon’t buy this game unless you’re willing to be forced to purchase money for the game. Once I started making around 6.5k and my expenses were about 6.3k, I noticed that the little fines in the game started to increase significantly and happen more consistently. At the bottom, it would constantly say things like “Your company was fined for not passing the safety test” back to back and they’d take over 4k out of my income for it until my account was at $0????? ALSO once I started making more money from a better job, my player’s happiness and health would drop easier aiding in me having to constantly make purchases to keep them happy. I paid for so many trips only to barely keep them above a 70% of happiness and health. You literally have to either watch a load of ads or purchase money to play this game. Not to mention, whenever I get a new job, I can have about 90k in my bank and it would just drop down to as little as 500 dollars. ✓ Worst game everIf I can give this game 0 stars I absolutely would. This games is so unrealistic in the way that expenses and earnings are made. If the point of this game was to make it close to real life it failed. In real life clothing do not cost monthly cause not everyone buys clothes every month. In this game you don’t have much control of anything and choices are being made for you and most people don’t put their wants before their needs. Also the fact that it said I had earned 15,000 due to completing one of the goals when I had 111,000 but instead the 15,000, I was taken 15,000 away. Leaving me at 95,000 and than this system dropped me to 17,000 out of no where is ridiculous. ✓ It’s okI like the concept of the game and I like to play but it is absolutely impossible to get anywhere in the game without watching 100 ads. For that reason I really want to delete it again but at the same time I want to see how far I get. I guess that’s how mobile games get us. I also feel like it shouldn’t cost anything to have a significant other. It makes things so much more difficult. It would be cool to add some kind of fast forward too. With the amount of money you have to save up it can get annoying having to wait and watch the dates slowly tick up. But then once I started to go to the intern for construction the game got super hard and I thought. This is not like life at all! ✓ PainfulThe game itself isn’t BAD. It does need some work. A glaring issue is that the jobs pay less than the required monthly expenses to even have them in the first place. This creates a problem where you can only proceed through ads, or buying. And here’s where the other problem comes in. The game uses ads for boosting and bonus cash, BUT 80% of the time while changing menus an ad also plays. It ends up making the game feel like a viewfinder for ads rather than a game. The ads got so bad that while just checking to see what requirements were for the next job, it played an ad, then moving back played yet another one, to the point that I forgot what I even needed, and in frustration ended up uninstalling the game. ✓ Makes you pay to play throughThis game is very skewed in order to make you pay real money to advance. Like other reviews say, you often have to take a pay cut in order to “advance” your career and you cannot lower living expenses so you are left with losing money for months until you can get a better paying job. Even when you spend hours watching ads to build up your funds, the game finds ways to take it away from you. “You have ripped your sleeve, pay 4.4k for a new wardrobe” is an actual thing that happened. Thirdly, the game doesn’t let you make your own decisions, so it’s incredibly rigid and frustrating. Why would you leave a managerial job to become a janitor?! Fourthly, there is always a £5.99 “special offer” for like 9k of game cash, yet just below it you can get 90k for the same price. And the mega offer never gives you the cash or double salary buff. ✓ Rigged to make you spend real moneyJob requirements make no sense where you need to have 3 months experience as a chef to qualify for a construction intern job. You require expensive clothes and a wife that costs $1500 a month to qualify for a job on top of schooling. None of it makes any sense and the expenses end up so high that meeting the requirements for a job puts you in the negative once you take the job or only leaving you with a couple hundred a month. This wouldn't be too bad if game did anything when the app was closed and if you didn't only have 70 or so years in game to live. Luckily theres cheaper options in most expense categories that are way cheaper, but they cost real money. Starting at only $3-$4 until higher levels where the cheaper expense option that the game traps you into buying to progress is $40 EACH. This game is very shallow and designed to make you pay more and more as you play since you’ve already come this far and $40 allows you to keep going (Sunk cost fallacy). I wouldn't recommend you play this game as it spams you with ads 85% of the time until you make a real money purchase and then it just traps you with bad mechanics into paying even more as you play. The ads are so abundant that it makes the game almost unplayable, which will definitely turn A LOT of people off the game. No real job has requirements like, “You must have a boyfriend.” or, “You have to have this car.” These don’t happen, at least to my knowledge. I tried to save up so much money and do all the education early on when I was making more income than spending, and it doesn’t work. You can’t go past a certain job. And I tried to stay at a certain career that allowed me to make money but then the character is unhappy and wants to progress. So he dies. I also think it’s completely unrealistic for your character to be required to live in a certain type of luxurious home in order to get a new job. And it’s a bit insane for anyone one to work in a job where they are already living beyond their means and then take a job that pays less just to start their next journey. Now while all of this can be assisted by exchanging stocks and gambling it’s still very Grindy. ✓ Game makes no sense, must live beyond your meansCan't stress how dumb this game is. You have to eat a certain type of food, housing, relationship or vehicle to get a job???? No job cares what you eat, where you live, your car, or if you have a relationship. Having prerequisite for getting lower paying entry level job (i.e. Janitor) is to have already worked at a more prestigious higher paying position (top manager) is counter intuitive. Once you get into financial trouble for being forced to live beyond your means, it does things like sell your vehicle to which will cause you to lose your job; and the only way to keep said job is to buy back the more expensive vehicle, which you can't do because of your finances. Doesn't allow you to manage your life and allow you to scale back expenses, i.e. break-up with girlfriend, move back to more cost efficient housing, drive a used car, eat hot dogs; because for some strange reason you need to have a new tuxedo every month and live in a penthouse to have that higher paying job. Meanwhile you can already have completed your law degree but for some reason will need to work your way past being a baker instead of working as a lawyer. ✓ Elaborate Scam!!!!!First and foremost. I did complete this game and beat it entirely. The only objective to this game is for you to watch ads but here's the gimmick. for you to earn money in the game (around 500 each ad) it takes approximately 30 seconds. BUT, it also takes approximately 30 seconds for you to go through an entire month in game, to where you could just make your money on income. so you pay the 2.99 for no ads, just like any other app on the store. Here's where i realized they are an elaborate scam. first, with the timing of their ads and also the timing it takes for months to progress and second, they will have so called "sales" where you can buy money for a percentage off. for example, "buy 9k now for 50% off" but then you realize for that same exact price you could just buy 90k. so psychologically since apps are addicting you do it thinking you are getting a deal when in reality you aren't. i paid 10 dollars for my salary to double four 5 hours and beat the game in those 5 hours. third, when they advertise their app on other apps they make there game seem as if you have life choices to make and that the game is a lot more detailed and elaborate than what it actually is. the game BLOWS. and there's zero rewards for beating it. I’ve had multiple instances where I would bet black in the casino and 10 or more reds will be spun consecutively. That’s an incredibly small and unlikely probability. The money to startup companies is way too high when you’re only making 1.3k profit per month and you’ve got to raise hundreds of thousands to take the next step (and to be honest my next step will actually put my outgoings at 200 more than my incomings so realistically I’ve got to save enough to take the next 2 steps so I’m in profit again). (Maybe make it so that you can sell the company you already own to gain money for the next step? For example in order to be a head chef for 3.5K per month you have to have an expensive car, fiancé etc for 4.2K expenses. Then if you can sustain that the next career path is an automatic drop in pay. I don’t mind games that are geared toward ad watching. I understand that the money has to come from somewhere, but this game would be better if it didn’t require you to have a certain relationship, car or housing to get or advance careers. ✓ Deleted!Things were moving along nicely from age 17 to 34 and then everything went pear shaped. I was on a profit of 500 per month and was trying to build up my businesses however to be making enough to survive I needed to jump up two levels as one would have made everything too expensive. To jump up two levels I needed around 229,000 but got stuck at 140,000. My character started getting unhappier, first she wanted to move into the city, then wanted a lover and other things that all would have led to me losing money. Tried the stock exchange and casino but always got back to 140,000. Bloody impossible and frustrating. Gave up at age 45 after being stuck for 11 years and deleted the game. I get a game has challenges/difficulties but it supposed to be possible to overcome them without cheating (buying money). Shame - it could have been so much more..Version: 1.45
✓ Bait cash grab gameThis game gives you the impression that you can win but it doesn’t, no matter what job you do you’ll quickly realize you’re losing money might as well keep the first job until you’re a millionaire but you’ll die by the time it happens. The first job is the only job that is profitable for the player. Other than that it’s an ad fest and you’ll have to keep spamming watch ads in order to get 500$ to pay for your expenses that your career doesn’t do. Which is stupid because if the devs actually wanted people to play they would make it some what possible at least not make it casino luck based and stocks luck based. ✓ Impossible to winThis game is fun and addicting at first until you realize that it’s impossible to win. They have you go from good paying jobs to poor paying jobs costing you to spend more than you make. I thought I had finally found a way around that by building my wealth and finishing all schooling (so that way I wouldn’t have any extra bills later) before I moved up in careers, I had $130,000 and when I had to switch to lower paying jobs my money quickly dropped to about $50,000. This was okay, I was expecting that and so once I got another good paying job I started working on building my wealth again before moving on, I was at about $70,000 and then for no reason at all the game dropped me to $1000. And then to $0!! They just want you to be addicted to the game so that way you’ll end up paying to get more money to stay in the game. I’m convinced that the only way you could win is if you spent a bunch of your own money. Also it doesn’t make sense to make you go through so many different schools/careers. ✓ Starts well but designed to milk very quicklyGame forces you to improve your lifestyle in ways you can’t afford, whilst simultaneously making you change career paths where you take a massive pay cut and go into debt before you have time to get promoted to afford your prerequisite lifestyle. You can save up ahead of time, but it’s ridiculously slow around the 3rd or 4th career change, which is not much fun. All the while the game reminds you of how many years you have left until you die. If you do go into debt, you lose your car and therefore ability to get promoted, you’re probably in a job that doesn’t pay enough and the game makes you watch ads for paltry amounts or pay real money. The things that make you happy and healthy get less effective over time. Mostly it just ends up too much like real life; feels like you can do anything early on, and you might achieve early success, but really you have grinding, nagging and failure ahead of you. And if you want to get more cash because the stock market is rigged, then you have to watch videos too. ✓ Was quite good until...I had low hopes for this game at a first glance, but I was quickly impressed at the lowkey strategy and addictive nature of the game. I played it a few days and was honestly having a good time, but the game certainly has a few things it needs to fix. I don’t mind games that are difficult or challenging to learn, but when a game just randomly screws over the player it isn’t fun. The game has a random aspect in itself that can help the player, but can and will screw the player over for no good reason. You can be playing along like I was and have time invested into a character, be doing everything right, and the game will still take all your money and put you into so much debt (your character has literally everything taken away and is unplayable due to expenses). That’s just the gameplay itself. The game has SOOOOOOO many ads to the point that you will be spending more time watching the ads than you will be playing the game (unless you disconnect from WiFi and cellular 😉). Many of the ads are unstoppable and sometimes for a 30 sec ad you’re spending maybe 10 secs in game. Great deal for the developer, not so great for the player. The issue is the game as a mood meter, in the beginning it will be mildly annoying….but by ten minutes into the game the mood meter will be more costly to recharge and it will drain in seconds; you will no longer be playing the game but rather you will constantly be fighting to fill your mood meter up. Spend 1k to raise it 20% and literally in 5 seconds it drops 30 percent. Like really? Could be fun if the mood meter burned as slow as the health meter and the other thing is as you get promoted you should have more money in your pocket right? NOPE, the more you make the less money you accumulate, you will have to get into more debt in order to get promoted. ✓ Cons outweigh the ProsThe amount of adverts in this game are extremely annoying. I actually enjoy playing this game but the fact that every single time I buy a new item, an advert pops up. Baring in mind when you want to get another job on the game, you sometimes have to buy multiple things. So it’s around 3-4 adverts in a matter of minutes. I was a player of this game when it was first released and it was much better then. There was basically no adverts, unless it was a “watch for reward” ad. If they’re trying to make money in this game, charge £1 or something for removing adverts. I’m sure many people would happily pay that to play a game they like. Plus it would be better than all the adverts and unlike other games who try to charge £10 for removing adverts, which makes the player delete the game..Version: 2.0.14
