✓ Not a quality serviceIt just barely works. I have 3 and have not even activated 2 because it has no features. The battery lasts less then 24 hours. It rarely updates. You cannot see historical data. I want to see where my pet has been. Tracking seems to do nothing. For an ongoing cost I am really disappointed in this service. If my pet gets killed because this product does not perform as advertised that will be a major issue for T-Mobile. ✓ HmmmmI got this for my cat who loves to be outside, first of all the device is decently big for a small dog/cat, it does weigh down the collar which can be a bummer, I wish they made different sizes, secondly the tracker mode isn’t working well for me, it’s taking more then 60 minutes to track where my cat is which just feeds to the anxiety! I’m not sure if it’s just my connection but it’s simply frustrating either way. Lastly I wish they made it so when you’re tracking/ trying to find your pet, the tracking device on the animals makes a slight beeping noise or even just a soothing chime so it would be easier to locate the animal, especially with cats who love to hide, it’s not as easy to locate them. I enjoy the light feature on the device, it makes me feel better about my cat being outside at night and did help with me locating him better! ✓ Extremely big device and “safe zone” is too large of an areaI bought this for my cat because I don’t like him going outside. Sometimes he’ll go out the doggy door and I wanted this to be able to tell me when he does. However the radius of the safe zone is too large to be able to just target my house. ✓ Glitches and bad batteryFirst device didn’t sync. After 3 days with tech support they said they sent me a new one. They didn’t. Another day of tech support and they finally mailed it. It synced. Then the battery life was 12 hours. That’s insane. It works, for 12 hours, then is dead an I lost my pet. A few weeks later, it won’t update or connect to wifi. ✓ Has potential, needs improvementA few things - when connected to WiFi it checks in frequently and I have no issues. However, when it’s not connected to WiFi, I’ve had the device go over 20 minutes before it checked in (and it’s not a coverage issue because the dog is in the same spot when it does check on.) Please, please, DEVELOPERS listen to some key things that will knock this out of the park (and I’ve tried 5 other trackers so I have a lot of competitor experience): 1. Add an option in the app to sync the device when it isn’t checking in. Having the button on the device is useless when in use because my dogs can’t press it :) I want to be able to force a refresh from my app to make it check in (even if it uses a little battery). 2. Allow to mark all notifications as read and/or delete them. It’s cumbersome to catch up to a bunch of notifications. 3. Allow the safe zone to be more customizable. Draw the borders, smaller circle etc. 4. Allow audible notifications for leaving the safe zone to be set and customized so I know when I hear that sound, there’s a problem. 5. Work on the safe zone notifications. I still have yet to get a notice when they leave the safe zone. I’m going to get a WiFi extender to see if it helps so I at least know but really if this works on cellular network it should just do it on its own. I think I’m going to keep them because they do report a pretty precise location when in tracking mode and the monthly cost is low enough.
