IziCast for Positive User Reviews

Great but could be betterA mic toggle button to engage mic as it automatically lowers audio output volume for voice, and resume full output level after disengaging the mic toggle button. Also having a 2 deck layout with a fader to cross fade music from deck A to deck B during live presentations will further enhance smooth operability..Version: 1.6.4

Great AppWorks perfect.Version: 1.4.2

ImpressiveI’ve been using a number of different ways to stream to liquidsoap. This works really well. Easy to set up and a simple user interface..Version: 1.0.3

I want to buy this companyThis app does everything that I need for my station, I absolutely love it and I am seriously considering contacting the developer to buy this company..Version: 1.6.3

PerformanceThis is an excellent app. Always ready to broadcast. I wish for this app to be developed in ways that will allow live broadcast of music or other contents by looping those facilities into this app to broadcast on the go on mobile phones. I pray..Version: 1.6.3

Great intuitive app for webcastingGreat like the layout. Can take audio feeds from a selection of sources i.e. either straight from your phone’s mics, or from an attached mic like Sennheiser’s AMBEO headset when connected. Can specify sample rate, but rate, channels (mono or stereo), and Codec type (mp3, ACC, ogg or FLAC). One can even record their webcast direct to their phone, which is great if you want to upload recordings elsewhere later. I use this for the Locusonus webcast site. While they have their own app for streaming to their their soundmap (which transmits the location your webcasting from), this app dose not. Would be good see that feature included (if possible)..Version: 1.2.6

Great app! After the latest update and some direct feedback with the developer, this is a 5 star app. Daniel was very helpful in getting the update out quickly which solved the issues I was having. Simple, easy, and now very stable!.Version: 1.4.7

All kinds of awesome!I’ve been hosting a prerecorded radio show on TOPCATRADIO.eu Recently I was asked to do a weekly live show in addition to the prerecorded one. I travel a lot so I wanted to test this app to see if it could be done with as little equipment as possible. So what usually takes at list a computer to transmit another device to play the music a mixer etc. Now I can do with a small interface and an iPad. Since this app plays the music from within. It also has buttons to trigger samples. Everything you need. It connected from the servers in EU with no problem I was up and running right of way. I do have a wish list. 1. In the playlist section when you import the song it would be nice to have a visual aid of where the song is from beginning to end. 2. An independent volume control of the player so that you can raise or lower the volume within the app in case you want to talk or if an older recording is too soft. But it does work just as it is. Great job I highly recommend it. Wish list: 1. When playing a song to have a timer or visual cue of when it’s going to end. 2. Integration with Spotify. It would be nice to be able to play Spotify playlists..Version: 1.6.4

Initially really useful till it stopped allowing stream over mobile dataI initially used this for on location streaming but recently it stopped allowing for stream over mobile data which is massively annoying..Version: 1.4.8

Not bad although missing 2 important features.I do love the user friendliness of this app however it does lack 2 important features, the addition of which, would enhance it 100%: 1. A countdown timer. For times when broadcasting and you need to know when a track finishes to avoid ‘dead air’ 2. A cross-fade function to allow smooth flow of music..Version: 1.6.4

Easy to use and stableThis app works really well for the purpose of its design. It’s basically a “Set n’ Forget” process to have your radio station up and running in virtually no time. I have used this app with a few audio interfaces obtaining consistent results while broadcasting for several continuous hours. The interface needs some help according to today standards. I have tried literally most of the apps created for internet broadcasting and iziCast is actually the only one which offers reliable performance. I just hope that the developer includes FLAC as one of the available codecs..Version: 1.2.5

Dios les bendigaExelente aplicación.Version: 1.5.0

GreatThis App works well.Version: 1.0.3

One Word: Great!!Easy and effective..Version: 1.6.4

No fuss, just worksEveryone has a phone. This simple app finally allows me to ask anyone with an iPhone to stream our event speakers without them having to know what’s going on under the hood. Before that, for years I’d been using ezStream, ffmpeg, Soundflower and radio mics on my MacBook or streaming hardware that meant only geeks could get great sound out. My suggestions for improvement: * support for TLS * input auto-levels You use this app to test all the internal microphones of an iPhone which helped me when a friend was having mic issues with her iPhone 6.Version: 1.2.2

Best App EverThis app is tiny yet perfect for my needs in broadcasting my radio.Version: 1.9.6

It does what you would expect and does it wellAn intriguing app and somewhat niche, but flawless in execution from a short test. I used the “camera kit” USB to lighting adaptor and a Yamaha AG03 mixer. The mixer however needed an external power source. When plugged in, the iPhone immediately recognised the mixer and let me select it as an audio source. Connected to a “local” (on the same LAN and WiFi connected to the phone) latency was about 4 seconds. I can see an application for Internet radio stations who want to do a minimalist OB or Podcasters who want to do a live stream while recording. The obvious limitations are that it lasts as long as the battery (thus possibly suggesting an iPad and/or a charging pad) and that while you can hear yourself (either via the mixer or looped on the phone) there isn’t an obvious method of getting cue audio (which would be useful for Internet radio). All in all, good at what it does..Version: 1.2.8
