✓ Remote ReviewThe functionality is wonderful. It is quite a few factors ahead of the handheld remote that came with the TV. I have no complaints and only have suggestions. My suggestions involves EVEN MORE functionality! Specifically, (1) color coded controls to allow a person to quickly locate what they want (I sometimes take seconds to locate the controls to increase volume, decrease volume, and mute/unmute; and to distinguish PLAY, BACK, HOME, etc. (2) When volume is changed, the new volume appears for about 2 seconds and then disappears on both the TV and the Remote. I would like the Remote to always show the current volume. But of course, the are personal preferences. It’s an excellent app..Version: 3.24
✓ Pleasantly suprised!!I’d downloaded a couple others and didn’t like them or they had a WEEKLY SUBSCRIPTION!!! This one had a couple fees to pay to go add free so that was fine. More than fair in my opinion given how smoothly the app works with my TV. So far so good. I am having trouble setting the favorites list I go to settings and it sends me to my Home Screen. ✓ Won’t pick up tv unless it’s already onOnce I get the app to find my tv, it works fine. But weirdly, the app cannot find the tv when the tv is off, and does not accept the IP address that the tv says is it’s own. I have to manually turn on the tv, and then scan. I have tried but entering the IP address only gets me an error that it is incorrect. Minor inconvenience, but weird anyway..Version: 3.24

The design is definitely of higher quality compared to other apps I've tried. The ability to use touch key & fast forward/rewind is nice and setting favorite channels is great 👍🏻 so I paid to upgrade and remove ads, but going to wait on the widget until it's iOS 14 compatible, which it seems the developer is currently working on. 🤞🏻 Also hoping there will improvements on volume/mute (which currently doesn't seem to be functioning) and choosing favorites (right now if I try to the app crashes) - thus the loss of 1 star. ✓ Awesome features easy to useThis Roku Ultra replaces a Roku 2 which wasn’t going to be supported by Netflix soon. It has all the great channels I could want and maybe more. The voice activated remote is interesting but I don’t see much reason to use it. Perhaps I’ll use it with practice. It’s nice that it came with JBL headphones to plug into the Roku remote control. That way you can still move around the room... if you carry the remote. Remote headphones would be an upgrade but it’s not a feature I use as I live alone and don’t need to worry about the TV noise. Make sure that the activation company doesn’t try to sell you on a one time account activation fee because it’s a scam... they tell you that it’s not a charge for activation support and insist that it’s not a scam. There should be no charge for activation of your device... no one time only/account maintenance or guarantee fees. It’s bogus and they’re really insistent. It’s a scam..Version: 2.6
