✓ I genuinely can’t get past the “New Game” screenI downloaded the game onto my iPhone 6S (iOS 13.1.2, the latest version as I write this), and it’s registering none of my inputs. I’ve tried reinstalling the game and restarting my phone, to no avail. If the game absolutely needs a gamepad to be played, and it isn’t merely a recommendation, then nothing makes that clear, especially not in the game’s description here. Some of the other Apple Arcade games have lagged on me, but this is the only one that outright refused to work..ReversinatorVersion: 1.0

✓ Tldr; very slow movement makes exploration unfunIts very pretty, but in turn it lacks the things that make games clear and iconic like silhouette style design or colour schemes so you often cant tell what things are without trying everything. Combine this with the clunky one-finger control that prevents you from quickly trying anything and a ton of time will get wasted for what could be simple actions. In addition, death is instant and sets you back 20ish seconds resulting in a lot of time just walking back and forth with no direction. As a result you dont feel like trying everything and exploring and getting involved in the story because its too tedious. Rather than a platformer, this probably could've been a really cool point n click puzzle or just a beautiful yet unique pixel- animated short. I saw that there was controller support offered but didn't try it myself, which was probably a huge mistake..Rivia CVersion: 2.0

✓ Excellent but full of bugsI love this game. One of the best I’ve played recently. But there are many bugs which mean you have to start again. Being able to climb into walls where you aren’t mean’t to and being stuck there requiring a restart is very frustrating. It’s a shame to have to rate the game down but kinda have to - will change this when the bugs are fixed as it kinda ruins the experience!.MaddskiVersion: 1.01

✓ Game breaking glitchNot too far into the game, I break the crate to reveal an arrow and pick it up but it will not let me load it into the crossbow and when I set it down, I cannot pick it up again. I was not able to work around this error on my iPad despite restarting several times so I tried playing on my iPhone but had the same problem. Please fix this!.ParticleDanVersion: 1.01

✓ Story vs GameplayThis game evidently didn’t have gameplay affect the story, rather the story affect the gameplay. This is fine and all, but this game goes too overboard on this, where certain parts of the game, especially the girl’s section feel like a walking simulator simply to tell what she discovers. The combat is not only isolated from the main section/focal character of the game, it also doesn’t propose any true challenge, simply binds to the story. In fact, the story is so poorly conveyed that there has to be a twenty minute cutscene in the end, just to clear it all up. All in all, if you’re subscribing to Apple Arcade just for this game, you’ve probably made a poor choice. ✓ Was enjoying until…I went to load my game, accidentally clicked on what didn’t even look like a trash bin then the next screen with some screen shots, I thought was extras or something I clicked the tick and deleted 71% of gameplay. Can’t face going through the incredibly slow sections with the little girl again so that’s it done for me. Otherwise I was enjoying it. How about some good ol’ fashioned English text saying “ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT TO DELETE YOUR SAVE?” Thanks.Psycho DeVitoVersion: 2.41

✓ Keep getting stuck on the tableThe game looks gorgeous, but twice now I got stuck right at the beginning. I get on the table, it tells me I have to put something on the table and that’s it. ✓ Painfully slowThe title says it all. I honestly don’t understand why the great reviews? The game is incredibly slow, controls are a little dodgy and it’s not entirely clear of which areas you can and can’t access during gameplay. A lot of trial and error before you understand the mechanics. I persevered for 45 minutes, hoping it would grab me, but no. ✓ Pixelated ridiculousnessI cannot understand for the life of me why so many games are still made with pixel “art” in this modern age where gorgeous computer graphics can be created even by the most amateur user. I assume all the younger generations are for some weird reason enthralled with everything “retro.” I don’t WANT to re-experience pixelated computer games. I want to experience what the modern world has made possible! Anyway, despite how much I loathe everything retro, I decided to give this a try because it had so many rave reviews. Ugh! It’s just plain AWEFUL! You can’t even SEE what’s on the screen! I played games with cleaner graphics in the 1980’s!!! There is literally nothing positive I can say about this game, and believe me I really gave it a chance. I kept thinking that maybe if I turned another corner the game would open up to something fantastic. No such luck. Also: I very rarely leave negative reviews on games, but I was so compelled to get this off my chest and I want to warn people. Don’t listen to all the positive reviews. ✓ Auto saving is appallingEnjoying the have but in two hours I've had to replay loads of segments. Don't press pause and look at your status or inventory or when you come back into gameplay your back at the previous point. Really annoying and needs a fix pronto. ✓ Frustrating bugsThis game is visually stunning and has an intriguing story; I have absolutely loved playing it. However I cannot progress past chapter 20 due to a bug which freezes the screen and fails to play the next cut screen (after finding something in the attic in the girls house). ✓ Another Bad-Dad SimulatorAside from having a tired theme amidst an ocean of semi-horror games (e.g. Limbo, Little Nightmares) that All claim a deeper meaning, the mishmash of characters, scenarios, and design choices seem to work counter to each other. 1. The game’s characters move at a crawling speed - the game seems to acknowledge this when you’re required to play as the slowest of the three characters (no spoilers) and the game edit-cuts away from certain staircases, yet others are not granted a similar reprieve. This seems to be done to force a certain mood onto you in the name of conveying “realistic” suffering. 2. The kinds of puzzles amount to item fetch-quests to solve rudimentary puzzles, also in the name of the aforementioned theme. That kind of choice molds the game into a kind of 2D Layers of Fear, without the latter’ s jump scares to occasionally remind you that you’re conscious. 3. The touch controls are unresponsive, and iOS often thought my jump commands were Home swipes. Definitely interpret the game’s recommendation to play with a controller as a bare-minimum requirement rather than a way to “enhance your experience.” On the whole, I’m sure it’s very meaningful to someone, but it strikes me as more pretentious than subtle..Prof-EnglishVersion: 1.01

✓ Lost save fileI’ve played from the beginning up until after the rabbit being retrieved and closed the game. Upon reopening it, the 3 save files were empty.
