✓ Fantastic app.Love the app!! From the quality of the photography to and the usability of it all; it’s amazing! I love the information you provide, the fact there’s information not only about the wildlife but the park, etiquette, how to get around! I’m yet to visit Kruger park but this app is defo on my to use list when I go across in a couple of years - it’ll save heaps of weight in books and guides. Even if you’re not planning on visiting Africa and the Kruger park this app is great for learning purposes alone. 😊.Version: 1.1.1
✓ Love KrugerexplorerThe Krugerexplorer app is just brilliant. Myself and family have recently returned from a 10 day trip to KNP and we found the app engaging and informative. We loved ticking off the sightings and seeing how many animals we’d seen. It’s great to sit and watch the animals and then read all about them. The kids especially enjoyed this aspect which very much brought the Bush to life. Furthermore, having access to the routes and other information such as what to do when meeting an elephant on the road is very helpful. I’d say the Krugerexplorer App is a must for both Kruger first timers and veterans alike..Version: 1.0
✓ Best Kruger GuideOn our visits to Kruger, I use the app for a map, and to look up mammals and birds. We have found out so many interesting things - like your Vagrant Bird information. At night, around the braii, we discuss our days sightings, and inevitably the Kruger Explorer App comes out to clarify or inform. For me, it also comes in so handy when I’m sadly not in Kruger. I look up sighting locations, read up on mammals and birds, read distance charts and gate times to help plan our next trip, and many other ways. ✓ Amazing App For Travellers and Learners Alike!I had a recent trip to South Africa and had been following various photography pages on Instagram. It was a way to get me excited and learn a bit about the various animals and such I would see on my safari. I came across one page called Krugerexplorer. I followed and they seemed to have very nice pics. Like many of the other pages. What I liked the most was that they provided context under each photo. Also at the bottom of the photos it said they were developing an app! Perfect. Once the App was available I downloaded it. Now it didn’t get released in time for my trip but that’s ok the wait was worth it and I can learn so much about what I saw when I browse through it. And like anyone that’s been on safari you can’t just do it once so no doubt I’ll be back to Africa again. The app is very detailed, it has a lot and I mean a lot of good information in it. The pics are fantastic and it doesn’t crash or stall. There are plenty of maps to plan your trip and they are even zoomable. The app is intuitive and well thought out. Not just slapped together like some of the other safari apps I downloaded first. I guess it’s a paid app so naturally it is better. All in all this is a fantastic resource for anyone that loves animals, wants to learn more about them or is planning a safari trip in Africa!.Version: 1.0

✓ Don’t hesitate! Download! It’s amazing.I live in UK and was in Kruger in may (it was my first time). Even though I probably won’t be back for at least two years (due to skiing holidays and a theme park obsession (cedar point👌), I bought the app straight away. Maybe because I’m missing Kruger, but also because I wanted to look at the map section and animals section. I have to admit I was thinking about the price (£9.99 in UK) maybe a little high, but I went for it and so glad I downloaded. It’s amazing! The detail in the app is incredible. Info on animals is more than I thought. And love the map section. Not sure if it can GPS locate you over the map or if it’s just to look at though? Loved the Afrikaans bird names- hope you are planning to add the Zulu name too at some future date. ✓ All you need for a visit to KrugerThe perfect guide for Kruger. It saved us so much weight vs carrying physical guide books. That alone made it a godsend. It’s detailed without being fussy and taught us so much about not just the animals but the geology that we drove through too. It made our trip so much more enjoyable. The content is superb and easy to navigate. I appreciate the bottom-up approach to first understanding the land and how a particular habitat supports wildlife. The content is what one would expect from a professional wildlife guide including tons of fun facts and information on which routes in Kruger will improve the likelihood of viewing a given species. I’ve enjoyed referencing the animal profiles to learn more about the species I photographed during my first visit to Kruger in May 2019 and found the app invaluable in planning a 39-day, self-guided safari in October 2019. ✓ Don’t leave camp without it!Omg! This App is fully packed with information you will definitely need when on safari in Kruger National Park. From descriptive details about the animals and where you may encounter them, to easy to follow routes you definitely want to take. Stopping at Skukuza, Satara, Olifants & Mopani camps, we used the Explorer App every day. Self driving the park was quite a scary thought but with great information in your hand and all OFFLINE our experience was the best ever. We made good use of the routes recommended within the App, giving times and distances you could plan your day with ease and the added ability to tick off the animals as we luckily spotted them and view them in the sighting tab was brilliant.
