✓ Needs this feature addedI have not had the opportunity to use the Libre 2 yet, I’m waiting on my next Doctors appt so he can write the RX for it. But I’ve been using the Libre 14 day for a long time now, so this isn’t so much a review but more of an observation and a recommendation. The app needs to work on the Apple Watch in conjunction with the iPhone. The previous reviewer complained about not being able to hear the alerts. If a user could get those alerts on their Apple Watch either by sound or vibration it would be very beneficial. My iPhone pretty much lives in my back pocket or a cargo pocket on my leg and there have been many times even with the loudest alerts I would have missed a call or text if it hadn’t been for me wearing my Apple Watch. So from a longtime Libre user and future Libre 2 user please develop an update that allows the Apple Watch to display the information the phone is receiving from the sensor. ✓ Get an Apple Watch.So first off nothing is perfect for us with the Beetus. There will never be anything in our lifetime that is going to be perfect and let us live a normal life. That being said, the combination of this and an Apple Watch has changed my life. The anxiety of constantly having to worry about being low has gone down a lot and just to feel somewhat normal at times is nice. Finger sticks are rare, usually only when starting the sensor or something is off. Remember that these only do your fluid and not your blood so it’s not going to be perfect but it is pretty close. The glue on the sensors can get a little gummy when it’s hot and humid out so I use some K Tape over the sensor in the summer to hold it to my skin. The alarms aren’t that bad with an Apple Watch. I set my high alarm to 220 and my low at 100 just cause if I hit 100 out of nowhere I better get some candy in me. I don’t know what all the hate is regarding this app but I wish you all the best and get a freaking Apple Watch. It will make you healthier too. Get up and live your life..Moonrocks420Version: 2.7.5

✗ Please don’t give a cookie cutter response. Update to iOS 16 please.Update: July 20, still no update to the app. I really have a hard time wrapping my head around such a mission critical app for millions of people who’s quality of life is directly influenced by this app and there’s been -0- updates to it for months and months now. Terrible. For both the experience of the user and for the reputation of Abbott. If you have the choice don’t use the Libre 2 system. They don’t care about you, why should you for them? No need to give the usual “Please call so we can help you” response like you have previously for this exact posting. There is no helping this. Please update your ancient app so that it works with iOS 16. You have to do this soon or millions of us won’t be able to use your system. You have a 2.1 rating. That’s TERRIBLE! This is a quality of life product. Please have it updated, or hire someone who can get it running better, and updated to the iOS that will be released soon. You’ve had 1(!) very incremental update in the near year since it’s original release. Or we will be forced to go to your competition..StevessvtVersion: 2.7.2

✗ Please update app so current version of Apple iOS worksI have been using this system now for almost 2 months. It’s been great being able to figure out what spikes my blood sugar and track the highs and lows. Now suddenly the app is not working with a new sensor. Worked for 3 scans, up until bed time, including scan new sensor. So new sensor was working. And then it was not. Received numerous critical alerts that I had lost connection, waking me up every half hour. It would not take the scans. Then I started getting error messages saying to remove replace sensor. After a sleepless night, called customer service this am, and was told that this system is working unpredictably with the apple iPhone systems current IOS. And that they weren’t sure when there would be an update, they can’t be expected to keep up with Apple’s current versions. I thought this system was designed for iPhones and androids? They are sending a new sensor, but what is the point if it’s not going to work with the current iPhone???? What a waste..Leopold1886Version: 2.7.2
