✓ Used to live this game...Game is fantastic, and thoroughly enjoyable. Then they came out with the latest update. Absolutely killed the game. Suddenly, extra spins went from using tokens (used for playing levels) to using coins, which are in MUCH shorter supply. Suddenly, not only couldn’t I beat the levels with 3 stars, I couldn’t beat them at all! Maybe, if they put it back, I’ll start playing again. ✓ Decent game but...I like, it’s fun, cute for a matching game, but gets to the “you must pay to continue” levels quite early. You can keep playing free, but it takes a lot of spins on the slot machine to get enough power ups for 3 stars in a stage. Makes it a slow crawl around level 100. I’m probably not going to stay with it long because I don’t feel like spending so much money for minimal gains. They need to rework the reward structure. It’s not fun any more, constantly being paired against paying players with overpowered advantages I can’t compete with. They win without trying, while I run out of options to even play at all. ✓ I’m close to deleting this gameIn the past few days, the game starts up with music even though I had already gone into settings and turned off music. Why doesn’t it stay off? And sometimes I can’t even get into settings without closing at least two pop up “event” screens. Just too many screens to close before I can get to the game - getting frustrated, quickly losing the fun in opening the game. I’ve also noticed it drains my battery much quicker than other games. And, on top, of that, it interferes with my auto-lock settings. My phone should auto-lock after 3 minutes, but if I can distracted during this game, I’ll come back much later and my phone is still on, contributing to battery loss. So if I’m playing less and less, there’s no point keeping this game..Version: 0.22.0

✓ Great idea but has become more pay to playI enjoy playing the game and with the combat element it makes it a very unique match 3 game, HOWEVER, as you get into the game it takes longer for enough energy to generate. Currently it takes 50 minutes to generate enough energy to ATTEMPT a level and only has enough storage for 5 attempts meaning if you want to sit and play a match 3 game for any length of time this ain’t it unless you want to buy energy every day..Version: 0.11.1

But as I played it more the monetization really started to get grating. Not so much ads from 3rd party (which was welcome!) but just ads to buy boosts in game. A lot of times, you matches just attack random things and the bulls slam right into you, unimpeded. ✓ Great game ruined by recent updateCat Force was a wonderful game that definitely appreciated your time and gave the option to play for free. While there are a lot of helpful options to spend money in the game, it is totally possible to progress without using them. This was true until a few days ago, when an update overhauled the game’s economy - now making it incredibly hostile to free players. The game’s energy system used to double as a way to get extra boosts for tougher levels. The amount of energy the level cost to play directly related to the number of spins of a bonus wheel at the start of the level, with extra spins costing more energy. The latest update changed the whole energy economy so that you can no longer play the game for as long, the wheel now costs coins (which are purchasable in store), and some of the harder levels no longer have enough spins of this wheel to be possible - forcing you to pay real for coins to spin the wheel. This update has undone the main features that set this game apart from its competitors. If it wasn’t for this update, the game would have easily earned a 5/5 score as it is truly incredibly enjoyable and addictive while respecting your time and money. Hopefully the developers see the light and revert this truly short-sighted change!.Version: 0.22.1

✓ Very buggyThe daily and weekly quest are completely broken. I have 20 hours to defeat 60 enemies. I’ve played through 15 levels since I got the daily quests and no matter how many “enemies” I defeat, the counter never goes up. Just stays at 0. It says pass 50 new levels and same thing. I finally got it to go to 1 on the weekly quest counter every though I’ve sat here for well over an hour playing a new stage each time. Ads to get free power ups like the firework never work. It just freezes up my game and no it’s not my phone. I can play dragon ball dokkan battle and dragon ball legends with absolutely no issues so no it’s not my phone and it’s not my internet. If you simply level your cats as you go you’ll eventually hit a wall where the levels become near impossible without buying currency for extra level ups or boosts. ✓ Great to start, becomes unplayableThis has the bones and structure of a really solid game! There are micro transactions of course like all games like this but at first they’re not needed and you can spend coins and get free boosts. However it takes FOREVER to level up your cats and I’m on level 95 now, and have tried it probably 30 times and haven’t even gotten anywhere near close to beating it. It’s clear this is the point where the game becomes pay to win. Sure I could buy coins and add more turns. But I’m not sure you can beat this stage at all without paying money. ✓ Keeps getting worseUsed to be a fun single player game with a bunch of unique levels that I absolutely loved. Then it switched to PvP only, which wasn’t bad but wasn’t my favorite. Now they changed the PvP from five rounds to only three rounds, so you get even less playing time even though their prices are all the same. Why are they trying to make people unhappy with this game?
