✓ BrokenUsually this is a great game and a decent time killer. But at the moment it’s broken. You can watch an advert to get a ‘free’ power up for each level. This is usually fine, but at the moment so many of the adverts do not work. You watch it and then it freezes and the the only thing to do is come out the app...and potentially watch the same ad do the same thing again? Don’t think so. Not playing until they sort this out. ✓ Great Game, Bad adsLove this game and have been playing for a while, but lately almost every time a Royal Match ad comes up, it freezes on the last screen and I have to close the app and reopen. When it’s between levels, I then lose my streaks/extra items and it’s getting really annoying. I’ve been having to close the app after each level then reopen to not lose my streak, it even does it when trying to collect daily coins. ✓ False advertisement!!Look, I have been playing this game for a while now and I can tell you that this game has some SERIOUS issues! The first one is of course the adds! There are too many of them and every add makes you play some mini-game at the end.. I have some of these advertised apps ( games) installed on my phone, like Toon Blast. However, the games look nothing like the advertisements! I am at level 500 with Toon Blast and my boyfriend is at 4900 and yet I have not seen the cartoon character actually involved with any of the levels so far.. what's the point?! Also, most of the times, you watch an add and play the mini gam and stuff (takes roughly 1.5 min) until the X shows up for you to close the add..but that's not gonna happen! ✓ Gone downhill fastI’ve been playing this game for years at this point and it’s gone downhill so quickly the last 6 months or so. They took away the number of lives you used to be able to accumulate, plus the multiple (cheaper) options to purchase more lives, you don’t get any diamonds in the levels anymore, and the lives take forever to accumulate. This was my favorite game. I could play for most of the day because the levels are challenging and satisfying to play. Now I can’t play for more than 15 minutes on these higher levels without having to quit because I only get 3 lives every hour. That’s insane considering I often have to start levels from the beginning because I didn’t get an angle right and I know I’m not going to be able to complete it. ✓ Very disappointingHow very disappointing, I was enjoying this game but it is plagued by adverts crashing the game constantly. I understand that if I won’t pay for ad free that adverts will be frequent, but the constant crashing is infuriating. Then to top it off when I manage to get through and complete a level you are now taking the reward and locking it away for me to purchase at a later date! I can no longer build up enough rewards to help me through the levels without paying for them, pretty disgraceful behaviour. ✓ Could be betterI paid for ad free because there are soooo many ads. And the ads are full length, 30+ seconds, some don’t even start until I tap k. The screen so if I look up, it’s a min or two blue fire it even starts. The first few hundred levels are fine but there are some that require so many extra boosts in order to pass so have to spend money or many many minutes watching long, terrible, repetitive ads for gems. Finally, and most annoyingly, I have the sounds turned off in the game but the game still pulls audio priority. If I have an audiobook playing, sometimes (randomly)it will still play but most of the time is stops when I start a level. I can open my control center, press play, resume game, and it shuts off my audiobook. Only in the playing levels, not the Home Screen. It’s weird and very frustrating. ✓ No restore option?I recently upgraded my phone from an iPhone 7 to an iPhone 11 Pro, and downloaded the game on my new phone. I have been playing this game for a while now on my iPhone 7, completed a bunch of levels, and paid for the removal of ads. I don’t mind having to restart on levels again, but it would be nice if I didn’t have to pay for ad removal again, especially since it hasn’t been more than a few weeks since I paid for it the first time. Most of the other apps I downloaded onto my new phone that I had on my old one that I had made purchases on have a restore option so you don’t have to purchase it all again, but that doesn’t seem to be the case with this game. It’s a fun game and I love playing it, but I despise ads. If there is a way to restore my purchase to remove ads, I will give you back the 5 stars I left last time. ✓ Annoying GlitchesI would never, ever entertain the option to buy a VIP membership for this game and not only because it’s ridiculously expensive!!! There are so many glitches when watching an add to claim a bonus feature for the game you’re about to play. Also, when you do an update you lose some of the bonuses that you had. An example is I had over 7,000 Diamonds and 4 iron blocks. I installed the latest update and I lost over 500 diamonds and 3 iron blocks. To say it’s Frustrating is being kind. ✓ Oh my God the friggin ads!I just can’t take it anymore. It’s just too much. I feel I am a patient person and I’m pretty good at watching ads to get stuff and just watching ads when needed. ✓ Great game but sick of pop ups and greedI do enjoy this game and paid the fee to stop adverts… but after every level I get pop ups trying to get me to spend more money. As the levels get higher they make it impossible to complete unless you pay for credits. Then while you have credits the levels are hard so you have to use them. I’ve played enough now to know the patterns in trying to get you to spend money. I don’t mind that but this game does it to a greedy degree. Deleted the app. What shame. We’re talking an anime character covered up with “scratch off” material and the ad scratches it off to reveal the character in a bikini that can best be described as dental floss, while the characters boobs grow larger at the same time. I’m not a prude by any means, but I just don’t think advertising 18+ (labeled as such by the ad itself) content to a game that children play is ethically ok. Let kids be kids for as long as possible. ✓ Disappointing trajectoryThis was the best game of its type out there. Completed 2700 odd levels of it over the years. Sadly the greed of the developers has made it unplayable. With your purchase of Ad Free, you are greeted with no less than three pop-up ads JUST for opening the game… Here’s a game that is a great way to kill some time with mindless activity. I purchased the No Ads bit and thought it would allow for more time to play. Nope. The only way to really succeed is by watching ads throughout. It is just one my added to the list of other games that make the level so unrealistically difficult that you are forced into ad watching just for a CHANCE to beat the level. ✓ Becomes a “pay to win” gameTldr: The game starts off fun and challenging, but becomes pay to win. Review: The levels start off simple enough and just hard enough to make it challenging, but still playable. Maybe you need to retry it once or twice to figure out the order you need to remove the blocks. But then the ‘dirt’ blocks come, and the ‘shield’ blocks come, and the levels become impossible to beat. After a few fails at the level, they remove the dirt or shield blocks and the level instantly becomes passable. But then you reach level 408 and 410! 408 I thought I could finally crack after hundreds of attempts (and got close several times), but didn’t and ended up using a ton of the free bonuses I’d acquired over the months of playing. 410 is simply impossible. There is just no way to beat the level without using loads of the perks. The game is no longer fun and just becomes a cash grab. Also, the aiming mechanic is garbage. Hold your finger on the screen and aim where you want and release. Half the time the angle changes when I release my finger. ✓ You Changed the Game to Make More MoneyOver the years, as I played this game, I’ve seen it go from fantastic to good to just OK as more and more features have been taken away. As someone who pays the $20 a month for the extra benefits, the final straw for me was when you went from defaulting 100 balls at the beginning of the game to 50. This has completely made every single level 1000 times harder—now to successfully navigate each level, you’re almost forced to purchase extra powers and advantages. Whereas overtime I built up a supply through skill and rationing, I go through everything I have almost immediately. I will be canceling my subscription this month, and likely will let this game go. I do not want to continue to be that was supposed to be mine is fine to fill the little spare time that I have. Also the “no ads” for the monthly subscription is also false. ✓ Totally addictive and hugely annoyingI love this game and play it the whole time. One great thing about the game are the very frequent ads. These are such poor quality and are pushing games which are clearly so cheaply constructed that it is very easy to close the app down and get back to something productive such as work. This is extremely helpful. What makes it even easier to put down is the irritating music accompanying most of the ads which often can’t be switched off. So, closing the app and getting back to work becomes even easier. The app has some times included gambling ads which promise payouts and which I suspect break UK gambling laws. Also I regularly refuse the app permission to access things like my location but I have been offered local ads to “personalise my experience “. I suspect this is also illegal as a breach of UK data protection legislation. Don’t say you haven’t been warned! Everywhere you turn there's something that can be unlocked by an ad, after every level there's a 30+sec ad, and even the ads that usually aren't too bad on other apps have amendments that make it very hard to not want to just quit the app completely, which i've done constantly since starting to play today. It's faster to finish a level, quit the app, exit out of the three or more offers that bombard you when you open the app, then find the next level than it is to just endure the ad at the end of the level. Overall you will spend 56% more time watching ads instead of playing the game, with a single round lasting about a minute each with multiple ads triggered between, as well as upon every click to navigate through menus or to collect any rewards. The great news is there is an option to pay to remove ads, so their excessive presence is deliberate. But over the past month, the ads are riddled with pro vaccination messages, rainbows and all kinds of liberal crap. ✓ Good, but frustratingMost of the games on this are not what I want to play, but in the challenge section there’s on with numbered boxes which is really good and feels like it’s making your brain work a bit! Which I like. HOWEVER, the major issue with this is that if you leave a game midway through (some of mine with this take over an hour) it randomly cancels the game sometimes, but not others. When I attempt to check if it’s just my phone I swipe up and the app goes to the background. Open it back up assuming it was just an odd glitch. Nope, add still refuses to go away. Swipe down from the top while game is still up and the notifications for everything is available and I’m able to move around in it. I’ve also deleted and reinstalled, restarted my phone and everything and the game is still doing the exact same thing for any adds. Now, I get 5 hearts, same as everyone else, except I can blow through them faster, ad free... lucky me. And I never understood charging a heart even for a successful completion of a level. For example, you earn rewards in a bank, that you then have to spend cash to actually get. Each round involves one or two “presents” that you pay gems or watch ads for. There is a daily wheel spin you can pay or watch ads for. There are ads on your third round a day, and every round thereafter. You can pay to disable ads, but it only disables those daily required ads, not the ads they “optionally” want you to watch to get the things you’ve earned. You of course have lives you can run out of, and pay for more or watch ads for. Wanna undo a bad shot? Gems. VIP version? Cash. One of hundreds of new balls? Gems and gold. I finally figured out the extra helper thingys like what they do because I can’t find any directions or explanations on the app. But the annoying thing is still the issue with how long it takes to get additional lives. It’s 5:30 pm and I haven’t played since before bed last night. 18 hours have passed and I open the app to 1 life. And for the first time ever, it won’t let me watch a video to get a new life. ✓ Game is good but the experience is horribleThe actual game is fun and interesting when you want something to kill time or just a good mind teasing distraction. ✓ Great at firstThis has been a fun game. But now I am on Level 180, and for the past few levels, the game has begun to freeze. Sometimes when I open a level, there are no numbers on the blocks and the the ball won’t fire, sometimes everything looks fine but the ball won’t fire. A few times, this has happened in the middle of play. I have tried going back to Home, which loses me a life, but the game is frozen when I go back to the level to play. The dotted line showing you where you're aimed vs where you actually hit is frequently wrong somehow - 2. The alarm sound played whenever the bricks get close to the bottom can NOT be turned off and will blow out your speakers - 3. The rewards in this game are a joke and would take hundreds of hours to accumulate without paying for - 4. Some of these level designs, particularly from the community, are horribly designed and literally require you to have the app opened so that you can painstakingly watch as you have to destroy 900+ hit bricks each. Seriously it's as fun as watching paint dry - 5. The SOS story mode - I mean like what even is this? Reason I only gave it 3 stars is because, at 100 levels in, I have yet to see anything like that ad that made me want to download it. ✓ More concerned with ads than game qualityI really enjoyed this game when I first started playing it. However, I succumbed to the ‘pay $2.99 to avoid ads’ option which did basically NOTHING to avoid ads. Everything you do in this game requires you to watch ads. Want your daily gifts? 5 ads. Want to start a new game with a bonus? Ads? You won something in game! Great huh? Nope - watch these ads. Worse that that there are multiple bugs in game that do not even reward you in game for ads. So i reported it, and was told ‘take a video to help us and we will send you diamonds and in game help!’ So, I spent weeks catching ads that don’t reward you, sent it in and got a ‘thanks’. No promised rewards, etc. When I reminded them that they promised me diamonds, they just quit responding. So if you want to provide free QA for an offshore company that is basically more concerned with tricking you into clicking ads than playing a game, you’ll love this one..Version: 1.0.75
✓ Was good but the ads are killing itIt was bad enough with ads befor but now the time they are on is increasing, and this game you have to watch ads to stand a chance of passing levels. Some of the ads are lasting 45 seconds then another 15 seconds of faffing about before you can close them. When will app developers realise that noone watches apps and just get annoyed with them. ✓ Ads are too intrusiveI have deleted this game after just 20 levels. Most good games have you watch ads for more lives or boosters which I can live with, at least you have a choice. After the first few levels (ad free) it starts making you watch 60 second long ads every other level just to play the next level! I was spending longer watching ads than actually playing the game. The game itself is interesting and a bit different, but completely spoilt by the ads. ✓ False Advertising?Kept getting this game advertised on other games (mostly F1 clash) and it seemed interesting as a “save this character from drowning” kind of gimmick. Downloaded the game and it’s very basic. Made it through 18 levels and there’s been none of the save the character gimmick whatsoever. The game itself could easily be addictive. ✓ Ads!I actually like this game. It’s a good time waster, I’ve enjoyed playing it and I would’ve given it four/five stars. However, the ads are infuriating as recently there’s a 60-70% chance you will watch the ad and be on the middle of your game (close to finishing) and the ad has no option to close it after watching it. If it’s and error, then this needs to be fixed. Although, I feel it’s a ploy to have us buy to remove the ads. Which I won’t be doing on principal. ✓ Really buggyI really enjoyed the game and soon became addicted to it, but it is very frustrating when it constantly kicks you out of the game. The game can’t handle 100 balls bouncing around so it just kicks me out. Notice in the normal levels this doesn’t happen as you only get up to 50 balls usually, but in the special events or handmade levels by other players it does. There is this one level that I have been trying to beat that was made by another player. It was super hard and the 3 times I made it to the end (we are talking that I had one block left) it exited me out of the game because t couldn’t handle 100 balls bouncing around a 50 number block. This was extremely frustrating as when I got back in it started me over, and cost me a life. There is also no tutorial for all the different blocks and I still don’t know how some of them work. ✓ AD-FEST!!!This game barrages you with advertisements. When I say barrage, I mean BARRAGE! Literally EVERY level you are forced to watch an ad, then they offer you ads for power ups, ads for free spins on a wheel, ads to continue, ads play when you finish a level, ads, ads, ads...It’s just ridiculous. And the ads aren’t short! They force you to wait through it and then usually there is a second on that plays. When the “x” pops up to close it the hit box is so small on it that 50% of the time it takes you to the AP store. There is an option to pay to get rid of the ads but I wanted to play the game first to see if it was good. The ads maddened me to the point of uninstalling it. But when I saw the one where the guy was going to hit another guy over the head with an object but then suddenly stops when he sees the guy with the device playing this game, was just absolutely stupid and having a crying with laughter face as if it is some joke. ✓ Game is terribleEither this game is rigged or horribly programmed. The prediction arc tells you the ball will ricochet up, but when you shoot it ricochets down instead. Speaking of bouncing balls, when the balls in a way where they’d technically be bouncing until something interrupts them; the game somehow makes them bounce on nothing and change the direction they bounce. There are “SOS” modes where you sure to save someone by breaking a certain object, but they only give you about 5 moves making it nearly impossible to beat them. The star rating you get for beating a level is inconsistent as well. The first 30 rounds it’s almost impossible to not get 3 stars, but by 40 it’s almost impossible to get 3. I had the meter pass the second star and almost reach the third star, but the game only gave me one star. And the ADS. You beat a level? Ad. You lose a level? Ad. You restart? Ad. You breathe? AD! Don’t waste your time on this..Version: 1.1.88
