✗ Wouldn't stand on its own.Decent concept, poor execution. There's very little game here, unfortunately. The idea of diagnosing problems and fixing various objects is a decent one---but none of this potential is realized in this particular game. The puzzles are overly simplified, and even the claim that there are 12 whole puzzles is disingenuous: two of these "puzzles" are just packing and unpacking a suitcase with no thought involved, just more story; and a statue puzzle that's just lazy. You're only looking at about an hour or so before you're finished. Honestly, this whole experience just felt like a media production company bought out someone's cool little itch.io prototype and then blew an absolutely massive amount of money on a very basic, contrived story with okay voice acting. That money really should've gone towards the gameplay. That said, at least it's on Arcade. This would be a complete ripoff if it were a standalone product on the app store selling for $3.99 . It's worth checking out just to get a glimpse of what a great game this could've been, had it been fleshed out on the gameplay front rather than abused as a vehicle to inflate an English major's ego..Dinky2002Version: 1.1.15
